it’s Macy’s yeah of course it’s great store as well the things sometimes happen for everyone 😊 I bought one pair of shoes which is HUGO BRAND at 9 PM December 5th in macys store at the time i didn’t check well as soon as possible confidently i just look around and try once packed up get back to home and second day morning obviously excitedly insert legs into the shoe and my excitement was converted to disappointment shoes was so tight and hard and i decided to replace another pair but unfortunately receipt and shoe box were destroyed same day i reached home and i made a call to macys costumer service number I have only digital receipt in my phone she said okay you can come and return replace or exchange as well as you want ohh wow it’s great and without receipt i turn back to the macys again and the guy was friendly which is working in related department at the end he said without receipt i cannot decision someone coming i said yeah it’s ok I’ll wait….finally after a hour he came and he said the shoe without receipt i can’t return even exchange another item looks like worn out OMG i requested with smiling face to him more than 10 minutes he just said i can’t ……anyway I’m the one people don’t love me I’ll love him more 😊😊😊😊 Note: actually i was worn the shoe 10 minutes around my home and you can see the shoe in photos as well anyway thank you very much😀😀😀☝🏻actually I’m not gonna return it nor change another size i just want to replace another that’s it tho you may be some kind as well as human being 😁

Was trying to return a shirt and this cashier was so rude. She looks at us suspiciously like if we had damaged or used the shirt when it came like that. And then she just said “email” over and over. We are humans not dogs right? How am I supposed to guess she means check your email for the receipt. She can’t even bothered to say that. despite her not even paying attention to us so we can leave and being in her co workers and other customer’s business. How annoying and awful customer service.

Hello I live around this mall for years now and have been shopping and currently work in the mall as well for a while now so i know the customers that come in and out of this mall. But this guy just truly gives off a rude vibe. This is my second time interacting with him and this time with my mom. I thought the first time oh he’s having a bad day so I gave him the benefit of the doubt but this time was the exact same. I came to look at some suit attire and he just gave such judgmental face again. Mind you last time I did buy something but he gives a stare of like “Are they gonna buy or waste my time” and it’s just an uncomfortable and awkward feeling. I don’t know if it’s my race or how I dress I really don’t know maybe it’s just the job but even so costumer service isn’t for the weak and shouldn’t make someone feel like that while shopping. So I don’t say you shouldn’t shop here but be weary. He is mid height, looks Hispanic, maybe Dominican, light skinned, and short ish hair (Suits Department). I’ve spoken too manyyyy Macy employees, other from the same department that he’s from also they are very kind and patient. I even have friends from there myself and none of them give me such a uncomfortable shopping experience like he gave twice . He needs more training with interaction and the way he speaks also very passive aggressive. Overall though no hate to Macy it’s just one employee that affects me wanting to shop in that department in this mall.

Google
They have a sale going on right now it's supposed to last up to Christmas but as these retail stores go I'm sure another big post Christmas sale will come on but without speculating about that their current sale is fantastic I got three blazers and an overcoat all of which were discounted around 60% off the regular price I honestly have not been there in a while so I don't know if the price that their discounting off of is their regular price but I was very happy with what I paid for what I bought

Google
It's my favorite store, you can buy almost everything here. I always look for great deals that are really good, the best prices are found online. Subscribe and download the Macy's app, and you will receive emails with great discounts.

The store security can answer questions on what floor a department is located on. That’s a plus. The store is having their Black Friday sales currently. I was told by an employee. I could not believe how many items were available for purchase at such low prices. I was at the store one day earlier and took pictures of what I wanted. So I went to the department and one item was gone. I approached the salesman and was told that I was confused because they never had such an item. Really confused?? So I pulled out my phone and showed him the picture. No apology or anything just that he moved it earlier. Then pointed to where it was. It’s such a small department how could you not know or remember. I was there before 12. Plus why insult a customer. He broke several glasses the day before and just kicked the broken glass under the display. He never cleaned it up. While I was there for 30 minutes.

Google
It would be nice if you could actually find an employee to help you but everyone is on the register. Why not cross train people in the perfume and cologne section? This give you more staff on the floor.

So being a Queens kid for life, this Macy’s and this location truly has a special place in my heart. I don’t know what it is that makes it stand out more than the others but the customer service is unbeatable the people that work there at this Macy’s, or truly genuine, who care for the customers needs in this day, and age of online commerce and shopping, and to me, nothing beats an experience of walking into Macys and receiving help, and I hope others get to experience this at this location. Gabriel, Jacob and Nelson were excellent and helping me find some of the perfume and clothing that I really really liked

Yelp
This review is for the EV charging station. Didn't know that charging in Queens/NYC requires you to pay for garage parking plus EV fees! (There are other charging stations located next to gas stations that don't require garage fees.) Typically it's $6 for 2 hours, but still the garage fee adds up! We came here around 8 AM on a weekday. There were a number of Telsla and non-Telsla charging stations. There were a number of people just hanging out by their Telsla charging portals. I was confused why they don't just go inside the mall. And then I realized that the mall wouldn't open until 10 AM. Also later I found out that if you let your car just sit there after the charge is full, you will be charged with additional fees of idling. So when in NYC, you gotta do what the New Yorkers do. I ended up walking down and back up on the car ramps, fortunately no cars around because the mall wasn't officially open. It was around $15 for around 100 miles, plus $6 of parking fee. I'd say it's fairly reasonable for charging in the city. Convenience? Hmm, not so sure.

Yelp
Macy's is fine at this location. I always enjoy my visit. The employees are very nice and helpful never a problem with customer service. My concern with Macy's as a company is the fact that after years my daughter's Macy's card was canceled! She made a purchase today regardless and will reapply for the Macy's card. She was told she would get 20% off her purchase applying for a card. Her card was cancelled because she didn't use it for a while. So today naturally I freaked out even though I just received my new Macy's American Express card this week! It's good until 2027. The sale for bras was excellent so I bought two saving a bundle. $48 original price a bra for two bras that I purchased for $24.90 each. I really don't need anything else in the clothing or shoes or anything period. I guess I just don't want my credit card cancelled for lack of use. The bra felt comfortable and I'm sure it will last years. I bought my last bra at Macy's. My mother always said Macys is good quality and they have great sale prices. I'm still recommending.

Yelp
I do not know if this is my favorite Macy's location. The parking is horrendous and there is congestion all over the place. However, when you find an employee who is gracious, professional and genuinely helpful in the midst of demanding customers who are not always considerate of the long lines they are causing given how they ask the same question over and over again, you have to take notice. Ayesha at Customer Service helped me with a return when my wifi did not deliver the information in the time expected. She actually helped me more than the 1800 number that simply did not care about me and was inflexible. Ayesha was kind, empathetic and did her job with the patience of a saint.

Yelp
Cool stuff n a fashion show I attended on Mother's Day weekend I had fun watching it and being in it

Lana D.

Yelp
Salamander stores are selling low quality shoes. Prices are too high. If you buy shoes and realise they are not comfortable you cannot return them even if they are not used. Saleswoman are extremely rude and start to yell if you asked them to be more helpful. I am never going to buy anything in these stores and advise same to you.

Yelp
As far as Macy's locations go this one isn't bad. Nothing comparable to the Herald Square location, but that one is the grand daddy of them all. This one is located in the Queens Center Mall. As with Manhattan location there are multiple levels for women's and men's items. Some areas can be a bit disorganized, and the dressing rooms can be a bit messy, but overall it's not a bad shopping experience. Can get really crowded on weekends. If you time it right you can get decent sales here so never pay full price.

Yelp
Terrible service, won't honor mark down stickers after you wait in line for 30 minutes, rude

Yelp
Once my mother told me do not simply spend hard working money in this place. As I bought my Reebok Tshirt, it cost $40 at least, which is after discount from $60. I can buy that kind of Reebok Tshirt at original of $25 or below. Since I am a saving guy a kind of Gen Zero, I abided with my mom word not to shop here for t-shirts. In short, too expensive even it is discounted, and queues are always long taking time to serve customer by customer, which is very frustrating, and they closed down some registers, the possible cause of longer waiting. Damn, please try your best guys, whenever you have chances please motivate your staffs not to think about money and don't think anything personal; that's how this place has less and less customers and never feeling completely satisfied here, including me everytime I shop here.

Yelp
Nothing is compared to 34 street Macy's but overall this location is great with their inventory. The store has 5 floors including the ground floor dedicated to exclusively men clothes, accessories, and shoes. The first floor has: jewelry, customer service, juniors department, shoes, makeup, and handbags. Second floor: dedicated to exclusively women's clothes and lingerie. Third floor: is all about home products and luggage. There's a top floor which is exclusively for children and often you will find women's winter jackets as well. This is a busy location especially during the weekend and street parking is a hassle in this area. There's a parking lot at the JCPenney wing and Macy's wing that is charged per the hours. Probably that is one thing, I don't like is the lack of availability of free parking but then this a congested busy area. They have great products as I usually get the items I need. If you love Godiva they have a section for it on the 3rd floor also you can find small items at the registers. Overall the store is clean not exceptionally clean but it's good. Employees for the makeup department are great as they are willing to help always. During my recent trip, I wasn't happy with the customer service department as they were truly lacking common understanding about the importance of meeting customer expectations. First of all there's no clear signs stating the line for pick up is on the right and returns on the left. Very few employees available at the register to expedite the process of returns and pick up. I saw like 2 employees standing and just giggling when the line is like extending to the juniors department. For pick up they only had 1 employee working and the line was long. I am not sure how is it possible for 1 person to go back and forth to pick up the items from their storage. That is poor coordination by the manager on duty. Simply taking 1 star off for customer service!! Otherwise I love Macy's!!!

Julita K.

Yelp
This review is specifically for Nelson in the mens department who literally was the most helpful store employee I've experienced anywhere all year. He was so patient helping my friend pick out an eggplant suit, shirt, ties, shoes, everything. He answered all questions in a polite manner, was genuinely interested in finding the perfect color schemes, and showed exceptional patience even though we took over an hour and finished 15 minutes before closing. Great customer service.

Dani S.

Yelp
Excellent customer service in the toys r us kids section at this location, I am highly impressed by the kindness and professionalism of the staff here.

Sofiola K.

Yelp
The restroom cleaner lady near Abercrombie kids is so rude. Short lady. The floor is so slippery. Bathroom stinky.

Stephanie A.

Yelp
The lady in the Lancôme section with short black hair and blue eye shadow was very rude, we asked questions and she didn't answer. We made a purchase and she charged me for a bag and didn't even give me one. I had to ask for it. The customer service was terrible, won't be coming back there.

Yelp
This macys is a dumpster fire. Simply wanted to get store credit for some gifts and use that money to buy something else. Instead, a comedy of errors resulted in me being told after an inordinate amount of time that the "system was down." So if the system is down, apparently, store credit cannot be processed. There was no solution given. Not totally the fault of the incompetent staff, but it makes it ever so obvious that all these big box stores are going to fail.

Jonathan C.

Yelp
This is a large department store inside Queens Center Mall. Macy's spans five floors. There are a few directories/maps, but they really should have more. Macy's hand sanitizer dispensers work, which is becoming less and less common in most stores. There are price checkers everywhere. Most of the escalators inside Macy's worked, unlike the mall's escalators.

Ivan T.

Yelp
It's second time already I bought online on star rewards days and Pick at store and I don't earn points it's really disappointed with Macy I thought they will gave point anytime bought on star money days Sent from my iPhone

Lucie T.

Yelp
This is always my to go store whenever I need anything while in the City. There's always something going worth stopping by to watch or see while in Macy's. It's always bustling with a busy crowd, activities and sales. Depending on what you need, there always a great selections to choose from which are affordable. Great location in the City amidst the shopping district in Midtown.

Lidia M.

Yelp
A once highly desirable place to shop has finally reached the bottom .... with brands front lined items on the hangers starting at Medium & Large for DKNY and Calvin Klein - also in house low end like "Polly & Esther"...really??? Not surprised they are closing many locations. If your shopping juniors - Forever 21 and Hollister are perfect. Do not waste your time at Macy's.

Matthew H.

Yelp
The worst furniture delivery ever. Macy's is the worst. Actually Macy's customer service is the worst of the worst. They hang up on you every time!!! DO YOURSELF A MASSIVE FAVOR. DO NOT BUY A BED FROM MACYS!!!

Sarah H.

Yelp
There is absolutly no staff to help in sight and only one staff member at the cash register. The clothes are ugly and too expensive for what they look like. The store is very messy with everything just thrown everywhere and there is no order to where the clothes are stocked. Even the expensive purses are ugly. Plus everything is overpicked and mostly nothing to buy in the store. So the store is basically empty. I think staff are too lazy to restock items.

Sailor M.

Yelp
I'll be generous with my review. I normally don't engage large departments stores for shopping adventures because the scale, crowds, and lack of cashiers all make my shopping experiences extremely uncomfortable. I don't have time for lousy retail service. Plus, this particular location has some of the most suspicious looking characters ever. I mean seriously suspect. I clutch my invisible white pearls and purse every time as a precaution. Anyone can find things here, and the selection is decent. At times, it feels like a long treasure hunt. But i rarely find something that i like where the prices are reasonable. By the time i find something, i am already exhausted from all the distractions. If one comes in during a sale, forget it because its a mad zoo house up in here. Its a zoo on a regular day, so one can only imagine. I would still suggest this place because they do carry a wide variety and selection of name brand items. I find stuff on occasion and the physical retail stores really need consumer support. Check this place and fingers crossed one finds a bargain. I am sending myself and you positive vibes. Word of advice: Steer clear of shoppers that look SUSPECT!

Brie F.

Yelp
I treated myself to new clothes via Macy's online website. Once they were delivered I didn't like the way blouses looked nor felt against my skin. Although the blouses were women's clothing they looked awfully small. Quite honestly I think they were juniors. I came here to return the items. I first stopped off at the shoe department not really sure if they'd take my return. The male employee I encountered was extremely professional and sweet. Although he was unable to take my return he directed me exactly where I needed to be. He said I'll have to do my return upstairs for Women's clothing, but said to try the juniors section first. He was right. The second employee I encountered was just as nice and professional while helping me with my return.

Erica F.

Yelp
The prices are not too bad, however i have never experienced a worst service in my experiences with macys. I generally go for the perfumes and the perfume ladies are super helpful and gracious. However yesterday went to the male area by the suits and felt like most if not all employees were not there interested to work. They were talking amonged themseves while lines formed by the suits cashiers. I felt like i was an inconvenient to them. 4 ppl behind a cash register 2 working. 1 talking and 1 helping, but just by pointing directions. He didnt give one step out of the little area he was, even after someone from his colegues told him he should take me to the area i needed to go. I am rrully disturbed by macys and the way they let their employees behave in front of customers. Sadly to me i spent more time thab i wabted to over there due to poor direction and assintace from the employees. Spent less than i was planing on due to time wasted for one item.

Raquel C.

Yelp
Should have no stars absolutely horrible never again. Saturday no employees are on the floor to assist on 3 floors yet the shoe department need 4 people behind the register DO NOT COME HERE SAVE YOUR TIME AND MONEY

tabatha r.

Yelp
Shiela, the Dolce Gabana vendor at the men's fragrance counter was amazing. She not only helped my husband and I choose the best cologne for him but went above and beyond and got me the best fragrance for me from the womens counter on another floor. She also made such great suggestions and worked so hard and was so knowledgeable that we ended up buying 2 sets for each of us AND a special polo bear bottle for my son. They had an etcher there and we were able to get my sons special edition polo bear bottle etched with his name. Shiela doesn't even work on commission, She gave it to the man at the register, but she knew her stuff and was so friendly and helpful. She also got us a few small gift with purchases.

Tina C.

Yelp
This Macy's sits inside Queens Center Mall. Shopping on St. Patrick's Day 2012 was not as crowded while nearly half of NY is out at bars, restaurants with their shiny green on. This Macy's organize stock by brand designer's name not by size whilst customer service is menial, a far cry from mediocre. The clothing appears very dated to 1980s era yet will make patrons go bankrupt with their obscenely overprice. Our party of two were ready for payment in the women's handbag department for the one register is flooded with associates mingling amongst themselves and customers flocking in a state of disarray without formation of an orderly line. Thereby, with great frustration we hitched on the women's fragrance and makeup counter for payment, which thankfully the associate was sprightly eager to accept us.

Yasmin K.

Yelp
This jerk tried to convince me it's my faults Macy's order pickup system gave me the wrong pickup date. If your order system gives me a pickup by date why would I not use that date? It's obvious staff took parts of my online order and then marked it as returned. I'm expected to just leave while 400 worth of merchandise was charged to my card without a refund. Such poor management at this location.

Sunday P.

Yelp
I've been shopping at this Macy's on and off for the last 18 years. I just got a Macy's credit card at the store in Flushing where I made my first purchase, they were very gracious in giving me my first 20% off and at this Macy's at Queens center mall they make sure that I get good discounts or any kind of presale discounts so wherever anyway I can save money! lately I've gone here several times in a short amount of time and the store is busy but there's enough employees to help you in most departments. The employees are considerate, helpful and fairly knowledgeable and the store isn't too messy. Today I came in to return a pair of shoes. they very gracious and excepted them back and in return I bought two different pairs. Fiorella who is my sales girl was very helpful in all aspects of getting me the correct size and even told me about the extra 30% off presale. I definitely Will continue to shop at this Macy's since there's a nice selection of things to buy and the prices are affordable like any Macy's department stores. The only thing that I think is a problem with Macy's is that they need to open more registers the lines tend to get very long and I see a lot of customers frustrated and the last time I was here I was walking around looking for an open register and so I purchased clothing in the handbag department. Most importantly the customer service at the Macy's Queens center mall is very good and very helpful at least both times that I've been here in the last week!

Cmtl S.

Yelp
I'm not entirely sure why the Macy's in Manhattan, Brooklyn and Queens all look unkept but they do! Where the sales teams are nice, if you catch them on a good day, I feel that if the store actually looked better the staff would feel better. I have a coworker that used to work here and even she agrees that the management needs to be reconstructed. She told me there really no sense of leadership here and honestly you can tell. As soon as you walk in it almost also seems there is no help or supervisors. Just security guards. Like a prison. She mentioned that on her training it was only about 2 days worth of it with a computer and no one was there to answer questions had she had any. Again, if you walk into any Macy's you can tell that the staff isn't trained properly. That's if you ACTUALLY see them on the messy sales floor. You'd think that Macy's would have more pride in training their team and putting money into the run down spaces they occupy but they don't. It's sad. UPDATE: More than 100 stores are closing. Seems they got the Memo

Edward D.

Yelp
Macy's one of the 2 anchor stores at the Queens Center Mall. This store is quite large and has the wide selection you'd expect to find in any Macy's, with the same level of quality goods. I've personally been very lucky to find very nice men's ties and a suit here for a last minute dinner when I was in town. It's not the same as shopping in the flagship store on 34th Street if you're not from here, but if you are just in need of something and are in the area, I recommend this location. Starting in 2006, this location stays open around the clock for Christmas shopping--hopefully they will continue the tradition this year too.

Ana E.

Yelp
Don't come to the Macys at Queens Center Mall if you're a woman searching for clothing. Just don't. ALL the fitting rooms at this location are closed. Even the fitting rooms for the expensive occasion dresses are closed. Also - the lines are long, and slow. Partially because there are so many returns - because - you guessed it - the fitting rooms are closed. Makes no sense. The fitting rooms in the Manhattan store are not all closed. The fitting rooms in adjoining counties (which have HIGHER coronavirus rates) are open. But.....if you live in Queens.....they're closed. So frustrating. This has never been a good Macy's. But now its a miserable experience. Also - don't think about calling ahead to ask - The Queens Blvd Macys doesn't answer the phone.

Wa11y W.

Yelp
Do not go to the shoe department near the end of the day. I went into the store one hour and fifteen minutes before closing. Not five minutes before closing. There is this heavy set lady with glasses that is about five foot five that should not be working there due to the fact that she does not want to go look for your shoes. Guess her physique told her that she was done working for the day even though the company pays her until closing. I'm guessing that it's too much running around for her so she makes up excuses as to why Macys do not have them in stock. Also, there is a slim guy that is about five foot seven that appears to be Caucasian that thinks he's a prince of some kind or some kind of royalty. He is very arrogant and feels as if he is too good to be Al Bundy in a shoe department. He doesn't want to work either. If you want to act as if your royalty at least dress the part. He looks like a total bum. Or maybe that he only wants to help certain looking individuals from what I observed. Do not get either one of them mad because you won't get what you want and they will tag team to give you the runaround. For people like this, if you hate your job, quit. If you didn't feel like working that day stay home instead of being a turd to the rest of the world.

Andrea D.

Yelp
What a mess! Before Covid, I visited New York twice a year to be with family. I finally got back in April after a two year absence. This store used to be a favorite stop. Not any more. It's worse than Ross. No sales people to help, just lines at cash registers for purchases. Clearance, called Last Act, is literally thrown together with garments all over the floor. If you still want to shop Macy's, just do it on-line. The prices are better there too.

Choi Tenzing C.

Yelp
This place is huge & has a 5 payment counters in men's floor level. The worst part in this place is doesn't have way to hospitality to their customer & have to wait for PLUS 30-40mins, only one staff in a counter & other staff are just roaming around to fix other shit except fixing the big problem around her.

Alan A.

Yelp
Customer service is lacking from most Macy's stores I've been in. Was here last week jewelry shopping. Sales woman asked if we needed help, we said we did, she said I'll be right with you. Well many "right with you's" later she ignored us and helped another customer. We departed the jewelry dept in search of something else. When we couldn't find what we were looking we started looking for a sales associate and could not find one so we just left the store without purchasing anything. I found this to also be true in their flagship store in Manhattan. Guess Macy's needs to have Gimbles across the street again, that's when they wanted your business. Not so much anymore, sad!

Monica B.

Yelp
Clean, smells fresh and super tidy so it's easy to find everything. Sweet customer service, fast lines and awesome sales on quality, steamers today*

Oleg J.

Yelp
I lived in the area for over 20 years. What a sad dump this place has become. It's like they are investing in being horrible and inconvenient for customers. All the price check stations are taken down. You have to stand in line to check the price. Or you can try another department where they may or may not help you depending on how their mood strikes them or they'll say - ït's not our department". Customer service? What customer service? Go to Russia if you want to experience that once-universally-expected luxury. I'm serious - it's much better there; store employees will greet you, smile at you, offer help - it may have been once found at Macy's stores too but long gone. Fitting rooms - only one on the whole floor is open. All the mirrors are surrounded by the clothing racks with about 1 ft of room in between so if you wanna see how a coat sits on you from a distance, bring your own drone. Sadly, this is a general trend of NYC - decent into the lowest standards. As far as this store, it's a perfect example of why retail is losing to the Amazons. I found a couple of pieces that I kinda liked but I abandoned them because I didn't wanna spend an extra minute in this place it's too disgusting.

Jane L.

Yelp
I rarely come to this Macy. It has been so many years since I have shopped at this store. Have been visiting relatives and someone needed pants so we decided to go shopping. So much has changed in this neighborhood and Macy's has changed with it on the downside. Here is my review. I rarely give 1 stars but this Macy's in Queens Center Mall you so deserve this and hope someone in your training department sees this and makes some necessary changes. More employees aside from 1 at a cash register. if this is the case then have checkout machines that we can checkout ourselves like at the grocery store. We do not like waiting 20-30 minutes to be rung up at the cash register. A) 1 person at cash register on the second floor in the women's section. I looked at two other cash registers in the vicinity and there is 1 person there too. Listen up Macy's- More people shop on the weekends than on weekdays. Takes forever to be rung up at the cash register. B) What's up with service here at Macy's? I asked employees where the cargo pants are. None of the employees knew anything? I employee pointed finger to the left. The customer online pointed her finger to go to the right. Oy Vey! Are we all tourists here at Macy's. Macy's training department and corporate you are not doing a very good job with training your personnel here. Love your endless commercials, yet when you walk into this Macy's it's a zoo like what another Yelper wrote. Employees here are lackadaisical and do not care. Cosmetic counter- Girls laughing talking with each other. No wonder counter is empty. Cosmetic girl stands with perfumed scented card by the escalator and just stares around. Says Hi... want to try a sample... to a guy and tries to give him a sample. What's up with that? All the other people that just walked by you don't exist. LMAO. C) Ambiance and the feel of the store when first walking in at the Men's section on the lower level is a whole different ball of wax. Guys in Red Jackets milling around and watching you as you shop. Lots of security here folks which means prevalence of theft is common. Not such great vibes shopping in any store that makes you feel this way. Want to hear something crazy? Shorts for $39.99 have this security ink thing clamped on fabric and Ralph Lauren Polo shirts are chained up like what they do to leather coat in the winter time. D)The atmosphere of Macy's has changed so much since I was a kid here. The quality of merchandise here is of a lower quality. Some of the products here are from past seasons. I will not be visiting this Macy's again. Not worth my time nor energy.

Yelp
Update!!!!! So I traveled an hour to the store this afternoon in the rain. I must say I had to privilege to speak with a gentleman named Leo. He was friendly took timely hear me out and solved my problem. Thank you Leo people like you restore my faith in Macy's and why I will come back.Day 4 update. Different day same story. I called no one picked up automatically transferred to a different country they try calling but no answer. Another update. I called today and was transferred to the Philippines I spoke to a very nice young lady who tried calling the store but got put on hold. So then she called another number and reached someone. A guy named Juan he said he wasn't from that department but took my number and reassured me that the manager from the jewelry department would be calling me shortly. So after waiting 5 hours for her to call back I tried calling again and once again the same old routine. I guess this 60 year old man will have to walk 30 minutes to the bus then travel a hour each way and go to Macy's because it's too much to ask for the staff to pick up a phone. Day three update. I've called 5 more times and and the store doesn't answer and once again I'm transferred to Columbia ( the country)and they put me on hold and never return. Day three I call the store no one answers I'm automatically transferred to God knows where someone answers they can't answer my question so they transfer me back to the store. Guess what no one picks up. I regret ever walking into this store!!!! Day two of calling and no one picks up in jewelry!!!!!! Just tried to call the jewelry store was on hold for 40 minutes. Hi staff FYI when the phone rings that means you are supposed to pick it up!!!

Yelp
This is the worst Macy's I have ever been to. There clothes are more so designed for senior citizens. When it comes to the younger population good luck. You will never find anything that you want. That includes shoes.

Yelp
Just got off the phone and had the worse experience. I am a frequent shopper at Macy's and a card holder. I needed an old receipt for a purchase at that store for warranty purpose. Mind you I called the regular custom service and was switched to the store. Rude is the kindest word I could use the way I was treated. Patrica , who's supposedly the manager in the luggage department would not even get on the phone with me and Willam refused to even give me his full name or hers. Furthermore I was on hold with the regular customer services and they hung up on me. Macy's , if this is how you treat your gold star customers , I can see you will have a dim future and why dealing with Amazon is much easier for most. You will also see a picture of my defective product

Yelp
I came here with my wife. The Macy's here is fairly big and a lot of people come here, it can be busy at times. My wife came here so that she could buy some shoes and we were helped by a representative at the shoes department, that made us wait for a very long time before we even got anything. The representatives at the shoe department get commission it appears because all they want to do is give you their name and remind you at checkout, say their name. Well, the representative that helped us barely helped at all, she made us wait a really long time, and became a waiting game. After all the inconvenience, she still expected us to tell the cashier her name so she can get the commission. We purposely forgot the name so she can't get the commission for the lousy job that she did. Getting a shoe from the stockroom and ignoring the customer for 10-15 minutes is not customer service at all. We haven't come back to this Macy's ever since. My experience at the men's shoe section was much better, that's why I'm giving this rating 2 stars rather that 1 star.

Yelp
I'm not a fan of writing bad reviews but considered the experience I had, I had to record it somewhere. My family and I made time in our schedules to go shopping for the pre-black friday sales. When my brother was unable to find the jacket he wanted in his size, he requested help finding the correct size. Not only did Vanessa, who's a manager there apparently, fail to delegate the task to an employee who would be capable of locating a jacket, but she was helping other customers who had asked for help after my brother did. Then she had the nerve to disappear for 45 min, and then sent back the jacket in the wrong size with someone else because she was barely paying attention to him when he spoke to her. Another manager Natasha had to help us afterwards and told us that there were no jackets available in the store in my brother's size. Vanessa had said there were 20 jackets available in my brother's size and that was the ONLY reason we stuck around waiting for it to be brought out from the stock room. Then Natasha tried to compromise by saying she'd give me a call when the jacket became available, which was sweet of her, but of course we never received that call. Honestly, it was such a disgusting display of how incompetent people can be at such a simple job. I've worked retail and I understand how busy and hectic it can get, but you don't just disappear when you've made a mistake. At least, own up and apologize, we would've been more understanding if she had just admitted that she was in over her head that day. Instead, she avoided us completely and when I asked where I could file a formal complaint, I was just given vague answers. This store is pathetic and the employees don't give a shit. Don't waste your time here because that's all you'll be doing - wasting your time.

Yelp
First of all, the name of Macy's just run down hill having this store at this location because is most of the people they hire here are all so ghetto I was at the Men's department last week, the place was a messed, all the clothes people opened it and tossed it back unfold, and no one is on the floor to clean it up, even though I was looking for all the brand names clothing like DKNY, Tommy Hill, CK, Kenneth Cole etc, but standing there looking at it I felt like I'm no different than standing on the side walk in Chinatown trying to buy the fake stuff So finally I found couple of shirt I like and I just wanted to pay for it and get the hell out of there. I went up to the cashier, and she looked at the shirt and she tossed it on the counter said; they is no price tag on it. Few second later she picked it up again and looked around it and tossed it back down, and this time she TELLING ME; is not price tag and ASKING ME; where is the price tag? At this time I am running out of patient, I asked, when in the hell did I got a job here that I'm suppose make sure all the price tag are on the shirt? This time I picked up the shirt and tossed it back at her and I walked away, I got money, and I'm sure someone else will be happy to serve me, I don't have to take this BS I was on my way out and the more I thought about it, I'm thinking you know what? I'm not going to let her get away with this, I'm going to go report her. I went into the Macy's sale office, soonest I walked in, these two women are busy talking and surfing the internet. Oh..how nice to see that my first thought I explained to them what happened, and one woman picked up the phone and called the Men's department manager and asked him to come down to the sale office because a customer would like to complaint about what just happened up stairs. I waited, and I waited, 15 minutes later the phone ring, and the woman answered and she said; Well, the customer wanted to buy some shirt but the sale person wasn't helpful....... At this time I was about to kill somebody, he have me waited 15 minutes and he now calling back asking what the complaint was about? GET OFF YOUR FAT ASS and walk down here and find out, you moron!!!! I told them all now I see why all you loser are here working on a minimum wage, and guess what? 10 years later you will be still sitting on the same spot at the same job, maybe making extra .25 more, and is not because you deserve the .25 raise, is because Macy's felt sorry for you, AND don't have any kids, because they're going to be moron's like you all!!! I zoom out of there, NEVER GOING BACK!! Worst customers service EVER!

Yelp
Whenever I'm in here and ask for something I'm told "it's on the ___ floor." When you ride the escalators in the middle there's no way to tell which floor you're on. No signs, no directory, no item lists. I've even been told "you're on the second floor" and "you're on the third floor" by different associates while on the same level. If that's how you're going to give directions can you either label the floors like every other Macy's in the world or give better instructions? Thanks.

Yelp
On a weekend afternoon, yeah, this place can be a mad house. Crowded lines waiting for two open registers, a long fitting room line -- make sure to allocate plenty of time to waiting. During the weekdays, it's significantly better. Only a small line, and I was able to go in and out of the fitting room multiple times, without having to wait for a worker to count the clothes I was bringing in with me. My biggest issue is not with the clothing itself, the sales rack, or the customer service-- all were satisfactory enough. But I really disliked the fitting rooms. They used to lock. Now, a majority -- and there aren't that many rooms, maybe 6 in total? -- do not close properly and/or do not lock. Some have no lock at all, some have locks that don't even work. So in the middle of trying on clothes, a girl swings the door wide open. Off putting when you're half dressed. The most annoying part -- it's pretty obvious if a fitting room is occupied considering the doors are not thick, full, solid pieces. You can definitely peek movement or a person behind the door. Also, the rooms/stalls are open, meaning they show everyone's legs. So...if a door is closed, why would anyone assume it's an empty room? Why not duck your head an inch and take a peek? If there are legs....don't enter! Takes away from the shopping experience, and makes me wish they had someone to monitor the fitting rooms again. They used to in the past. Would only come here if I needed something specific, or if there was a coupon expiration. I had Macy's money and it was the last day to use it. Otherwise, I would go to a different location or order online,.

Yelp
Apparently some of the registers magically open for customers who are buying 300 dollars suits. During the weekend we had one associate literally just point to us and said this register isnt for you.. go there. It was very demeaning and rude. Might as well spend my money somewhere else. My suggestion is maybe giving refresher courses to associates in the department on how to talk and treat their macys customers.

Yelp
I found what I wanted, no staff member offered to help. It took me some time to make the best selection. There were staff members, everyone seem busy talking and packing minding their own business. I went one register with a young woman standing there and told her I would like to pay, she said not at this register. You have to go over there. Over there had a long line, the only register with a cashier. This guy was Pleasant and helpful. Second time this is happening at Macy's, no cashier. Ann T.
