Mad Dads Philly's Authentic Cheesesteaks & Hoagies (ROSWELL)

I had really high hopes for this place but for a $20 cheesesteak I would absolutely pass on spending your money here. Barely any toppings, not well seasoned meat and way too much bread to meat ratio. Upset I spent that much money for a cheesesteak especially with no side included?? Many other better options for a fraction of the price!

Saw this place on TikTok for the Roswell Junction. This is a small food hall, not nearly the size of others. However the location has other spots like Bertolozi's Pizzaria, Flying Fish(Sushi/Poke) and Pretty Little Tacos. Atmosphere is socially appealing, lots of seating and patio seating. Not a lot of air con. It's all inside a large warehouse with high ceilings. I sat inside due to it being 93°outside. While seated, my plate collected 4 flys and I can't help but smell something foul like bad sewage. The facility may want to look into that. Onto the food, the lady Pamela at the counter and whom made my was sweet and took my order and came out to my table in front to give me my food. She seemed happy to talk about the food and the fact that it had been ranked a top cheesesteak in Atlanta! When she gave me the food, she wanted me to give her a heads up on how it is after and I did. The Philly was tasty. I'm a huge fan of wiz on mine along with American or provolone. I also like getting some peppers and mushrooms to aft as a filler because I'm a big boy. :) If I were to rank this, it's about equal to Philly G Steaks at the Works. It's better than Jersey Mikes, Arby's new cheesesteak offering and possibly better than Big Dave's and Woody's. I will be here again!

They posted a sign saying they’d be back in 30 min. Waited for over half an hour for someone to come back to no avail. No luck getting served. Was looking forward to getting an Amoroso roll this far South. Womp womp.

Staff & Service: Mr Romeo and Mr Boss provided excellent customer service. Their knowledge of the products and sincerity upon the receipt and delivery of my order with excellence. This Philly Soooooooo Goodddddd Omggggg I’m not even kidding!! I had no appetite and no idea what I wanted but I’m sure as hell gonna be back again and again!!!! The lady who cooked this Philly included her heart and soul in ittttt!!!! My kid is killing the eggrolls also and she’s so picky but honey she quiet and smacking and ain’t said one word!!! We love Mad Dads Phillys!!!

Man I was so hoping for an awesome Philly after reading reviews. And now im left wondering what people are talking about. This was as basic as it comes. Honestly I would rather have an American deli cheesesteak. And if anyone says this gives big Dave's a run for the money they obviously jacked up their taste buds on hot peppers or something. Angus steak is questionable. It felt like thick roast beef. Kinda like a Publix cheesesteak. For $18 just for a 10" is way to much for this basic cheesesteak. But the environment is cool. Many food places to choose from just in case you toss the cheesesteak you can grab a pizza. $23 for a cheesesteak and a drink. Woowee.

I am use to going to the Moreland Avenue location but was on this sound of town when I heard about this location. As soon as I walked in, I could tell it was a friendly atmosphere as the cook seemed alone but had welcomed me to the entire food hall. I immediately went to the kiosk and ordered my usual. I sat down, and just enjoyed the space until he called for me and confirmed my order before making it. I noticed their philly had a little bit different seasoning but it was 10/10 ⭐️. When I had finished eating the gentlemen, took my tray, helped me wrap my left overs, gave me a bag. So professional, friendly and inviting, I thank him and look forward to returning.

Chef T is simply AMAZING! She made me feel welcomed, offered me a lunch special that I otherwise would not have considered, and she did not lie…..it is literally one of the BEST Philly Cheesesteaks I’ve had in a LONG TIME!!! Mad Dad’s Philly’s is the truth!!!

Great service! Great s'mich: Philly cheesesteak on the freshest Philly bread! Not much meat but that's ok, it was absolutely delicious & we had flavored fries! Yummy!! My friend had the honey garlic wings & that was great! I tried one too, and agreed: YUMMY!! Tony was a very kind man when he took our order & the chefs def know what's up here: cooking great food!!

The food was fresh and so delicious! The service was awesome and The Junction was super clean!!

The service was amazing but the Philly wasn't really a Philly. It was something you'd find in the mall. The fries were undercooked but seasoned well. I wanted it to be good but it was just edible.

Everything -- perfect ! Foods was awesome , location was pretty cool ... the cook did great ! Def will come back for this . And wayyyyyy much better than taco Mac Philly steak !!!!
