Simply delicious!! You have to try it. They have a lot of options and flavors. My fav was the Yaki Pudding Cheesecake 3". So flavorful. Prices are standard. Spacious parking lot.

Wow, I’m not a fan of cheesecake but this was some good stuff. My wife loves cheesecake so I came with her. She got the tart cheesecake and the yaki pudding cheesecake. I shared with her and the yaki cheesecake was my favorite. I fell in love with it ! I got myself some Japanese bread and boba which was so yummy. Definitely coming back here to try some more items. The cashier was helpful with us.

Mad for Cheesecake is not only a haven for delightful desserts but also a chic and elegant establishment. Every time I frequent Seafood City, I eagerly await their opening, knowing that I'll be treated to a sophisticated and indulgent experience. The moment I step inside, I'm captivated by the stylish ambiance that surrounds me. But it's not just the aesthetics that impress; it's the heavenly creations they offer. The cheese tart I tried was gooey, soft, and creamy, with the perfect balance of sweetness, all nestled within a flaky crust. It was a true delight for the senses. Equally enchanting was the Japanese cake, which had a delicate sweetness, a soft and moist texture, and the ability to effortlessly melt in your mouth. Having only tasted these two offerings so far, I'm eager to return and explore the other delights on their menu. This is a place that comes highly recommended, not only for their delectable treats but also for the chic and elegant atmosphere that enhances the overall experience. It's a destination that promises to satisfy your cravings while providing a sophisticated ambiance that adds to the joy of indulging in their desserts. Don't miss out, they’re on their soft-opening! #LetsGuide

Google
We got the Yaki Pudding cheesecake and the two taiyakis. Both we very good in flavor, but it was pricey for the size. We were going for their original but they were out of slices and were only selling the whole cake (which is very small). Make sure you go early if you want a slice! They do show you all of the sizes of things and prices in their front glass counter before ordering. The Yaki Pudding cheesecake was really good. It's basically a pudding (similar to flan) at the bottom with their original cheesecake on top. It is small, so take account for that at almost $7 The taiyakis were 2 for ~$5 which is actually a good price! You can pick two fillings and the dough itself was chewy! It was similar to a mochi donut texture wise and the filling was great! We got red bean and nutella. They are made fresh to order, so they came out hot! Overall, it was delicious and we'd like to try the original cheesecake when we go back!

Google
Everything Japanese cheesecake should be! Light, delicate, "bouncy." We also got a red bean and a Nutella taiki. Sooo good. I'm partial to the red bean and will try a custard one next time. The Nutella becomes too sweet for me but my friend who joined me loved it and preferred it over the red bean. Delicious regardless of personal preferences. I also had an Earl Grey milk tea. Just perfect. Not too sweet and a properly strong bergamot flavor. Thank you, Mad for Cheesecake!

Google
The yaki cheesecake pudding and Japanese cheesecake were really good. The Japanese cheese cake was soft bouncy, spongy, almost bread- like, and had a very light cheesecake flavor. The yaki cheesecake pudding had a lil spongy topping, then creamy pudding and finally a brown sugar bottom. It sounds like from the reviews some people thought it would taste like traditional American cheesecake but it does not.

Google
Good tasting, not overly sweet Japanese style desserts. Matcha cheesecake was good. Very nice packaging and presentation.

Yelp
The manger I think didn't catch her name, Lea, John and Trojan are great! Everyone is all very welcoming and helpful. The options were explained and everything was delicious. We got the Yaki Pudding, Cheese tart and Ah-Boong. The Yaki pudding was the just right amount of sweet and similar to Filipino style leche flan. The cheese tart, was so sweet and savory nicely balanced. The Taiyaki is crispy and soft in the middle. Everything was so yummy. A perfect Sunday after church treat.

Yelp
Pretty bummed about our experience. We have never been here before, and have been excited to try it out. We asked the employee their recommendation to which he just pointed at the case and said that's pretty popular.. okay.... So I ordered a slice of the Japanese cheesecake... then ordered a slice of the Fromage cheesecake (which when when we asked what it was he just said cheesecake, then when he brought the box said we should freeze it because it's made with icecream.. mind you the menu says NONE of that) I will say that cheesecake DOES taste very good. But we couldn't try the Japanese original cheesecake because we didn't receive it, instead got two tarts (one matcha and one chocolate) that we did NOT order, and neither was very good. Both very dry and bland in flavorful. It was not busy at all. If I had any idea that the box may have been incorrect I would've checked it. But seeing that the screen showed what we ordered and it wasn't busy, I didn't check it before we left and was not about to drive all the way back. The staff that assisted us was not very knowledgeable of the menu, my fiancé asked how big the slice was and the size of the cheesecake and he said, what's shown in the case, pointing to the glass display... which are VERY small portions... so we were alarmed about spending $9.5 on a slice so tiny (when the whole cheesecake is $17).. but to our surprise the One slice we did receive was an adequate serving size (3x what was shown in the display) Overall very disappointed in the experience. And won't be going back. And as a side note, I opted to receive the receipt via text and can only view a "rewards/loyalty balance" which is equally as frustrating. I hope other have a better experience if they go. (We went at 530pm on a Sunday)

Yelp
Came with a girlfriend who was jonesing for something sweet after a savory lunch, and took a sip and couple nibbles of her order despite my already full tummy (oh the things I do for Yelp ;)... Cute, clean space and fast service. Matcha Latte was as expected and fine if nothing special, but the Baked Cheese Tart was quite delicious and surprisingly sweet. Only negative was that it was rather difficult to remove from its container - the tart shell kept sticking to the edges, resulting in quite a bit of work to actually eat!

Samantha G.

Yelp
The inside was decorated nicely with plenty of seating. Went in around 6pm and got the Nutella filled with milk ice cream. It definitely tastes just like regular milk. The staff were nice.

Vina R.

Yelp
Thought I was not going to be able to find something here as a lactose person, but I was able to find some dairy free drinks! Sorry vegans and lactose people, but the actual desserts all have dairy. I ordered the taro milk tea with almond. The lady was able to adjust the sugar level for me to half as I do not like very sweet drinks. It was perfect as it had a soft sweet taste to compliment the taro taste. Definitely coming back to try their blended drinks (can be made dairy free) and see what other seasonal drinks they come out with.

Yelp
Went for the first time and tried their ice cream with the fish cone that is yummers!! Also bought a whole Japanese cheesecake for $13 and not only is the price right but it's very good! I like that it isn't too sweet. It's moist and custardy. I most definitely would come again. I also love that they add toppings to your ice cream for no charge! Go try it out you can thank me laters!

Yelp
Very cute shop. All the packaging is adorable as well- expected from a Japanese dessert shop. We had a chocolate, regular and matcha cheesecake and they Were great. Also wanted to share that im not a big matcha fan- most matcha ive had tastes grassy to me. What i have learned is that means its lower quality. I am happy to report that this matcha was not grassy. Very subtle and fresh flavor- i enjoyed it. All 3 flavors are delish and i enjoyed them for my bday celebration!

Yelp
Take-out review 2/24 Had the chance to try their yummy desserts at a family dinner. The cheesecake was SOOO good! Light, fluffy, slightly sweet (as most Asian desserts are). Priced around $19, which is actually reasonable compared to most dessert/pie/cake equivalents. Japanese desserts feel light, so even after a hearty meal, you still want it! Also tried the matcha tiramisu. Sorry no photo. It was gone before I could snap a photo. This was a bit pricey at $14 for a small round. Considering the price of matcha though, the price really is warranted. Strong slightly bitter matcha flavor. Lucious creamy filling. Not overly sweet. It was a bit out of the way for them to pick up. However, who else but family is worth it? Right?

Yelp
Mad for Cheesecake may satisfy your sweet tooth, but my recent visit was less than enjoyable. They have a cute grass backdrop for taking pictures inside. The overall experience was disappointing , with nothing standing out about the desert or drink. However, the service left much to be desired. Despite arriving well before the 9 pm closing time, I had to wait for quite some time before my order was taken. The employee was indifferent, and to my disappointment, I was informed that the Oreo drink was no longer available, despite the time being only 8:20pm. The butterscotch drink I settled for was watery and lackluster, as were the desserts I tried. With such lackluster service and subpar offerings, I won't be returning to Mad for Cheesecake.

Yelp
I had no idea there was another Asian business community in San Diego outside of Convoy. This place was located next to a Daiso store. Pros: -free parking in a shared parking lot -they sell different types of cheesecake, milk teas and taiyaki. Cons: -n/a Overall, a good place to stop by if you want some dessert.

Yelp
I was excited to try this since I saw this on the gram. Aesthetically pleasing with the wooden wave ceiling and the cute display case, this was a refreshing addition to National City. Situated right next to Seafood City, this place had ample parking available in the strip mall. I ordered the white peach boba which was sweet and light. The cheesecake I ordered was the Matcha Double Fromage Cheesecake, which is featured in many media outlets. Sadly, this was so frozen that I had to ask the cashier to cut this in smaller pieces. Not sure if this is the way it's supposed to be presented, but for the price point of almost 11 dollars for one slice, my expectations were high. Cheesecake flavor was not prominent, and other than it being too hard, it was flaky. Sadly, I was not thrilled with my cheesecake experience as I had so much high hopes with all the hype! I did like the ambiance and the iced tea. I know that another location is due in Chula Vista, so I'm hesitant to try when the new location opens.

Dee D.

Yelp
This place has a very cute interior decor! Ordered the milk flavor ice cream with taiyaki custard filling in a cup. The ice cream is soft and at the same time creamy which I loved. The taiyaki is hot and fresh. I think they make the taiyaki as you ordered because it has a freshly baked crunch when I took a bite of it and the custard is good too. Love this place!

Phuong H.

Yelp
Tucked in the corner of a busy quad, right next to Seafood City! Order: MATCHA CHEESECAKE: I'm glad this wasn't too sweet! We tasted it as soon as we got it and I'd recommend letting it sit for 15-20 minutes after would be better because it was really hard to get into and the matcha on top was super flakey that I couldn't really taste the cheesecake itself. After it melted a bit more I ended up really enjoying it! ORIGINAL CHEESECAKE: I might be bias but I like the matcha better! The original tastes like any other cheesecake but what stands out is that their cheesecakes aren't overwhelmingly sweet. What would make it better is a cheesecake crust at the bottom. OTHER - 3 stars because what I tried was ok. I still intend to eventually come back to try their ice cream and some drinks. Lastly, the staff were friendly & quick, we were the only ones in there haha so it was a good experience!

Yelp
Mad For Cheesecake is offers the sought after Japanese Cheesecake along with other desserts like taiyaki, tarts, teas and boba. I was unsuccessful in trying their cheesecake since it's been sold out the past two times I've gone. I've tried their Uji Matcha Tiramisu and Double Fromage Cheesecake. Both are right up my alley in terms of sweetness level and flavor. Although the presentation could showcase the cake more instead of a small cardboard box, the desserts were yummy! Milk Teas I've tried are the Royal Milk Tea and Premium Jasmine Milk Tea. I will say both milk teas are stronger in tea flavor giving it a bitter taste. There are plenty of tables and bright lighting to enjoy your desserts. I will continue to visit for dessert and hopefully try their original cheesecake next time!

Yelp
Was looking for Japanese cheesecake but didn't want to travel too far. Found Mad For Cheesecake in National City. It is located in a big plaza which is always super busy and parking can sometimes be hard to find but luckily was able to find out right away. We walked in just a little after opening and it was empty. The inside space is nice and open, lots of seating and very cute. The menu offers more than just Japanese cheesecake, there are other desserts, drinks and even taiyaki. I ordered the original Japanese Cheesecake and my daughter ordered an Ice Blended Strawberry Cheesecake and 2 plain Taiyaki. Customer service is good. My daughter liked her drink and taiyaki. We got the cheesecake for a party so we couldn't try it right away. When we did everyone liked it. It was light and fluffy and not too sweet. Having a favorite spot back home in Vegas I would have to say this one is just okay.

Yelp
Come visit South Bay's newest dessert cafe is a one-stop shop for trendy Asian sweets, from chiffon-like Japanese cheesecakes to Korean waffle cones filled with soft-serve ice cream. Yelp
Blasting music... but GOOD music. No one there, but me. I went on a Monday morning, so what do I expect haha. Service was quick, and lady at the cashier seemed nice and was efficient. Food tasted great. Well, I've only tried this tiramisu. It was wonderful. I would definitely go back here again to try other menu items with my boyfriend. I went here on a solo date with myself.

Sarah C.

Yelp
I happened to see a post about this place on Insta and thought the desserts looked delicious enough to try. Immediately, we noticed and loved the clean modern style. The staff member who helped us lacked energy/enthusiasm, but she was nice. We ordered two Ube ice cream with custard filled taiyaki, matcha and milk ice cream with plain taiyaki and a matcha cheesecake to go. We were told that it would be about 15 minutes for the taiyaki which seemed long, but we didn't mind. Our ice cream was creamy and quite tasty, but the taiyaki was overcooked. It was too crunchy. The custard filling was less creamy and more gelatinous in texture. It also lacked flavor. We were told to eat the cheesecake frozen, which we thought was weird. Frozen desserts are usually too hard to eat, but hey we thought, "This is what they do. Let's eat it as instructed." To no surprise, it was too hard to eat. In all fairness though, the cheesecake might have tasted better frozen. None of us liked it. We paid $34.33 (with tip) and based on this experience, we wouldn't make a return trip.

Nachelle M.

Yelp
We came at 2pm on a Sunday and it was moderately busy. They were sold out of the yaki pudding cheesecake and matcha double fromage cheesecake. So we got the original double fromage cheesecake. They recommended we let it sit out for a couple min before eating- we didn't though. It was a little more frozen than we'd like but very cheesy. It was three layers: Japanese cheesecake, baked cheesecake, and mascarpone. It had a mild flavor and it was unique- something I hadn't really had before. We also got the ah bong with ube and strawberry ice cream and Nutella filling. The waffle part was very thick and chewy. I wasnt a fan of the ice cream, it just had a faint strawberry flavor. I prefer somi somi's taiyaki and ah bong. Service was good. They explained their menu and the different items on their menu. The place was nicely decorated with a photo taking area and nice furniture, but no outlets in sight.

Alyanna M.

Yelp
Nice little gem in the Southbay. I got a 7" Japanese cheesecakes ($13 each). This was delicious, fluffy & tasted better than another Japanese cheesecake place I've tried. I also got the 4.5" Matcha Double Fromage Cheesecake ($18.50). This was way smaller than I expected & for the price, I didn't think it was worth it. It almost tasted like a layer of vanilla ice cream & a layer of matcha ice cream on top of each other. In my opinion, I would skip this cheesecake. Overall, the cheesecakes were presented very nicely in a box & a cute bag. I will be coming back for those Japanese cheesecake & possibly try more things on the menu, but skipping the Fromage cheesecakes.

Ann P.

Yelp
First time trying this place and I love it! Staff is nice specially Sheila. The small fish waffles are delicious but they take a little long to be ready. We tried some flavored teas and they were good. I'm down to try them again

Miss M.

Yelp
Came jn on a Sunday evening and they were sold out of almost everything. Line of people waiting to order and not much to pick from. Bummer.

Jane W.

Yelp
The cafe is tucked in between Seafood City and Daiso, so it may be missed. The parking situation in this area can be challenging. The staff is friendly and it wasn't super busy so we got our order quickly. The cafe is super cute and the design details are so pretty. The boba drink was very good. I also ordered the Japanese Cheesecake. This wasn't as sweet as I was expecting, but the texture is very good. I'd definitely return to try their other desserts.

Marie G.

Yelp
I went around 1 PM and it was pretty empty and the cake was premade so quick also got myself. Ice cream was pretty good.

Erika M.

Yelp
I was in the area eating nearby at my new fav pho shop. Instagram led me here for sweets. I tried their Japanese original cheesecake, matcha cheesecake and their newly displayed matcha tart. My kids disliked their original cheesecake and that speaks volumes if children turn down sweets. It tasted bland like it was lacking egg yolks. The matcha cheesecake was good but it's not special enough for me to come back. The matcha tart, good lord.... Let's just say I tossed it after a bite.

Lina P.

Yelp
Came for a boba. Sadly they were out of boba but I ordered jasmine milk tea. Boyfriend got a peach mango tea. Mine literally tasted like iced milk. There was a faint jasmine taste to it but it tasted like 98% milk so I was a bit bummed about that. My boyfriend's drink was overly sweet. Also ordered the Japanese cheesecake. I've never had it and always wanted to try. That was light and airy. Lightly sweet. That was pretty good, would be great to pair with sliced fruit and maybe cool whip. That was the best item that we tried. May or may not return. They did have other desserts that looked tasty.

Jhenny B.

Yelp
This place is really cute, I love the modern decor. Service is great. As far as what I ordered, it just wasn't what I expected. I guess it's their take on a somi somi dup. I ordered the ube and strawberry swirl. It honestly had no ube flavor and the strawberry over powered everything. Which kinda tasted powdery. I didn't finish it, because I didn't like it to be honest. The Ah boong was good, I wish they added a little more filling (I got Nutella) I'll try another flavor next time. And I'll try a drink and a cheesecake slice since that's what they're known for. I just though paying $10 for a small slice was a bit steep. But I'm willing to give it a go another time. I gave it a generous 4 stars because I see this place growing over time.

Jessica F.

Yelp
I'm so glad to have another dessert/boba place around in the area. The place have a cute interior with a nice ceiling architecture. We were greeted as soon as we came in, she was kind enough to give us a moment to see what they have on the menu. We tried their cheese tart, jasmine milk tea, and royal milk tea. I enjoyed the tart, the portion is great for its price. Definitely shareable and good. Not too sweet nor "cheesy." The milk teas are refreshing and milky!

Sherry F.

Yelp
I saw this place recently opened when I was ordering Bonchon. (Side note as of 07/11/23 that Bonchon is offering 10% off if you show them a receipt from Mad for Cheesecake). Inside is very clean with comfy velvety chairs. Plenty of choices to sit from and greeted upon arrival. The decor is very clean and neat. I ordered a matcha milk tea and an original Japanese cheesecake to try. The matcha milk tea was more on the milky side and lacked the matcha flavor, but I'm hoping the other drinks are more flavorful! The Japanese cheesecake was super fluffy, but a little moist, so some parts of the cake were exposed to more moisture but overall really good and good spongey consistency. I definitely want to come back and try their soft serve options.

Pacific B.

Yelp
The fluffiest cheesecakes at the Japanese Dessert spot in National City - fresh baked daily! The founder studied Japanese cheesecake and came up with the perfect recipe that makes their cheesecake both jiggly and delicious! We tried the traditional cheesecake, yaki pudding, uji matcha tiramisu, jasmine tea with boba, matcha with an espresso shot and the cheesecake tarts. The match was so good and imported from Japan. The shop is also so cute and welcoming, they have plenty of seating! Everything was so fresh and delicious! We can't wait to go back.

Shaira T.

Yelp
We went to Mad for Cheesecake after dinner on. Friday, and it was def a bit busier and the wait is a big reason for docking off a star. While it's a cheesecake place, they had other desserts like ice cream, taiyaki and more. One of us opted to get cheesecake, but the rest got other desserts. Most things come fairly quickly, but their Taiyaki takes a while. We were told it was a 5-10 min wait, and it definitely took longer than that due to the sheer volume of people who order it. They seemed a bit understaffed when we went, and they were basically making taiyakis one by one, making it take forever. Taste wise, everything was great though! I'll definitely come back to try the cheesecake, but hope they can get other desserts out faster!

Anne L.

Yelp
I will definitely keep coming back. The place is so cute and I am a sucker for cute and modern bakeries! Decent service and the wait for the food isn't bad. The boba teas are decent. Not the best I've tasted, but not bad by any means. Same with boba quality. The taiyaki (we got red bean and Nutella) were delicious!! I've always wanted to try taiyaki and I was always hesitant but wow! Blew my mind - it was so good. Both flavors were delicious. It's more than just like a waffle- it's like a mochi and waffle had a baby. If you like mochi donuts, you'll love this! The matcha tiramisu was ok.. a bit too much matcha powder (I put it on myself from a little cup they provided so maybe I should've used less..) which made it too bitter but it was otherwise decent. Texture was good. I also tried a slice of Japanese cheesecake and it was definitely nice and fluffy in texture but maybe it's just not my taste as I didn't love it as much as I thought I would. It's just not as sweet as I like desserts to be. It was a large slice for the price though and well worth the try.

Ben Carlos D.

Yelp
Mad for Cheesecake suspiciously looks suspiciously similar to Cheese Garden at Del Mar Heights. The aesthetic, menu and the to-go bag... I do wonder if it's just the same owner but overall, it's a decent place for some Japanese cheesecake. I'd skip the drinks as National City is seeing more cafes popping up and you're better off going to a dedicated boba or coffee shop. The staff is friendly and the space was quite big, along with the parking lot although being next to Seafood City means scarce parking during peak hours. While it's one of the best souffle cheesecakes in San Diego, it's unfortunately not going to match the ones from Japan. Unlike the jiggly ones from Osaka, if you SMACK this cheesecake, there will not be any bounce. There's no jiggle or wobble. That to me, just takes away the fun. The reason for this would be the fact that souffle cheesecakes are better fresh. The fresher it is, the more air there is in the pockets and the jigglier it is. This is the same issue with Uncle Tetsu, the name brand imported from Japan. Unless a shop has a steady stream of customers that would demand a shop to constantly make the cheesecakes, you'll most likely get one that's been sitting for a few hours. Think of these cheesecakes as soda. The longer the sit, the flatter they get. This is why I probably recommend the Yaki Pudding. The pudding is well done. It's soft and silky but definitely on the sweeter side. It's also a smaller portion vs the cheesecakes. Like I said, the cheesecakes are still decent. They're light and fluffy. I wouldn't recommend buying a slice. Buy a whole cake and take it to share with your family instead. Even though these cheesecakes are less sweet and less heavy than their American counterparts, you would still be struggling to finish an entire cake by your self.

Cielo M.

Yelp
Awesome place with great desserts, boba and taiyaki! Food and drinks were reasonably priced. Cool ambiance and great customer service! We sat by the open windows and what a cute place! Will be back!

Vanessa R.

Yelp
I'm going to edit this later with more photos but I've had a few things here since it opened. I've had a few milk teas, the cheesecake (duh) and the matcha tiramisu. All the milk teas are great and I would go as far as to say that it's better than the surrounding boba shops in national city that we've been graced with. The cheesecake is so delicately light and fluffy- I would say it's on par with Uncle Tetsu. I think the size is good for the price as well. Now to the star: the matcha tiramisu. I want to lie and say it's bad because every time I go in here it sells out while I'm there because it's so popular. But I can't lie in the year of the Barbie movie so I won't: it's absolutely divine and everyone should try it but only when I'm not there. The matcha flavor is strong (good way I LOVE matcha) and it's beautifully rich and creamy. It's perfect to share as a sweet treat or to demolish the pint in one sitting in your car before you leave the parking lot. This is a gem in National City and I'm hoping the location is here to stay.

Diane K.

Yelp
I guess staff was limited when I went. The employee there was on the phone and took a while to take my order. Coffee machine was not available, so not all menu items were available to order.

Nikki B.

Yelp
Came here with my family and ordered some desserts and drinks! Didn't end up liking my drink and the servers were really nice about it and I was able to switch it out. We tried the Yaki pudding cheesecake and the formage (?) cheesecake and they were delicious. I wouldn't come back for the drink lol, but definitely for the cheesecakes and service

Desiree L.

Yelp
My family ordered the original Japanese Cheesecake and a Matcha Fromage for my little brother's birthday. Both cakes were delicious, I'm hooked. I would definitely go back to try other flavors. My mom said the shop itself is a bit hidden in the shopping center. Customer service was good.

Richelle S.

Yelp
Had the matcha tiramisu and it was ok. It was pretty much just a matcha cake with a bunch of cheese on it. The yaki pudding was pretty good! It's pretty much a Japanese cheesecake on top of a flan. The size was very small though. Their prices are pretty high for small servings. The place is pretty cute though with a lot of seating.

- Located in between Seafood City Market and Daiso Japan. - A large parking lot but due ample amount of stores, parking lot is busy - Doesn't look like much outside, and the interior is aesthetically pleasing and clean. - Cute decor and cute designs - Friendly and quick service - Dropped by Sunday 8/27/23, there wasn't any coffee drinks available and ahboong (fish shaped cones) ran out :( - On the menu, there were options of cheesecakes, boba & bubble tea, lattes, and ice cream with ahboong. Hopefully next time, I can try them.

Yelp
The best cheesecake ever! It was so creamy and sweet. But not too sweet. Speedy service and fun vibes. Each bite melted in my mouth. My friend took the whole cake home and we devoured it in two days! Japanese cheesecake is the only type I'll eat now. Very addictive

Yelp
Japanese cheesecake 10/10; if you like Japanese soufflés it's very similar to it. Strawberry cheesecake ice blended drink, 10/10; tastes just like a yogurt drink it's topped with whip cream.

Yelp
I did not notice this cute cafe next to Seafood City until today. The inside is very clean, chic and has a nice ambiance. They have Japanese cheesecake! The cheesecake is quite pricey, $20 for 4'5inch cake. I'll have to try it next time to see if it's really worth it! They also have the waffle fish cone soft serve. National City is slowly turning into Convoy, which I ain't mad at. I tried their mango green tea, mango mint iced tea, and white peach oolong tea with boba. They were all very refreshing, not too sweet, and overall tasted yummy. I also tried the cheese tart, so good too. The workers were all nice and had orders ready pretty quick despite it being busy. Im bringing my husband back here to try the cheesecakes!

Yelp
I was in recently for their Japanese cheesecake and it was delicious. Usually it is crowded during the weekend but it was worth the wait. The cheesecake was fluffy and flavorful. I would come back here for another cake!

Yelp
Discovered this new and cute dessert shop as I walked by and they have a lot of variety! You can indulge in Japanese cheesecakes, hot drinks, iced drinks, lemonades, milk teas, soft serve, and taiyaki all at typical prices for a dessert shop. I tried the milk and matcha soft serve ice cream and I liked the flavors. It wasn't sweet at all and I could really taste the blend of both flavors which complemented each other well. The portion size was also great. There's enough seating for small groups and the interior is decorated nicely. Service was good and I got my soft serve within 5 minutes after ordering so I didn't have to wait long. This dessert shop is conveniently located in a plaza surrounding Seafood City Supermarket, Bonchon, and Daiso. There's plenty of free parking spaces as well. I'd definitely come back to try their drinks and cheesecakes.

Yelp
As I walked in, the girl with light brown hair greeted me nicely with a cheerful smile! Since it was my first time, I asked for a recommendation and she gave me the Japanese cheesecake. It didn't fail to impress me, the cheesecake was so soft and fluffy but the taste was even better it was perfect because it wasn't too sweet. I got excited so I almost finished it, sadly I forgot to take pic of the cheesecake but aside from that I also got this matcha fromage and yakı pudding . It was delicious and it melts in my mouth. And also one last thing, the ambiance was so aesthetic and the packaging was so cute! Can't wait to bring my family and friends here. I highly recommend this for everyone to try!!

Yelp
Food and drinks were okay at best, I got the taro milk tea and cheese tart. The service could definitely use a lot of work. You'd think employees here would be excited and happy go lucky while working in a dessert cafe. Nope, the younger ones seem uninformed of their menu, while the older makes it seen as though you are bothering them. Its a cute little spot, and I really want to try the Japanese cheesecake, but I think I will not be going back.

Yelp
I think that you should try out this place if you're into the "not too sweet" desserts. I came during the day so there was barely any traffic and the mood was really nice. They keep their tables clean and present the desserts at the front so you can see what they look like before purchase. I tried the matcha tiramisu, mango mint ice tea, and custard taiyaki. The matcha tiramisu is not sweet, but it is THICK and dense. The mango mint ice tea had stronger mint than mango flavor, but I don't mind (btw it's NOT sweet at all). The custard taiyaki was my favorite. It was a gooey warm custard with nice crust on the outside. Overall, it was a fine experience, but their specialty items are pricey. Their croissants and taiyaki are fairly priced for the area, I might come back to try their other items.
