"After nearly a decade in Falls Church, Mad Fox Brewery will pour its last brew on Sunday, July 21. CEO and exec brewer Bill Madden announced the impending closure in a Facebook post yesterday, prompting nearly 400 comments from followers offering condolences and reminiscing about good times at its Broad Street home. 'As much as we tried to compete, there are an overwhelming number of choices for the local population,' he wrote. 'Sales have been on a slow decline over the last several years and, unfortunately, staying open is no longer sustainable.' His long-standing brewery (444 W Broad Street), complete with a 60-foot bar, offers around a dozen beers of its own, including seasonally inspired brews, barrel-aged creations, and straight-from-the-cask selections. Its tavern-style menu includes calamari, burgers, pizza, and wings. Washington Post reporter Fritz Hahn noted on Twitter that Mad Fox was brewing 'citrus-forward IPAs' before the New England-style hazy beers became mainstream. Meridian Pint beverage director Jace Gonnerman also bemoaned online that the closure was indicative of a beer scene that rewards 'hype over quality.'" - Tierney Plumb

After two visits, this place is a solid four for two reasons--menu diversity and beer selection. Nothing stellar, nothing awful. Everything they do is decent, but I can't rave about anything. Pizza and a beer is always a good option, and they do that well. I'd recommend that over the burger and salad we had on our second visit. If you live close, definitely check out the daily specials. That would probably raise it to a five experience and value. Solid place for groups, parking in the garage is free, and courteous staff get you in and out in your pace. Recommended!

At a crusty six years old, Mad Fox is a graybeard by NoVA gastropub standards, but it still delivers the goods. You could easily argue that their burger is the best in the metro area, and some of their beers such as the Kellerbier Kolsch, Wee Heavy Scotch Ale, and Orange Whip IPA are superlative for their styles. To top it all off, their facility is so expansive, and their location so conducive to events, that they pull off some of the best homegrown beer festivals as well. You could be spared for not liking English style beers, but go for the Bitterballen or Mad Brewer pizza for a true culinary treat.

I was here for happy hour and trivia. Our waiter was very slow and would only take one person's order each time he came by our table. It took an hour to get some people in my group their drinks, and by that time happy hour was over. Very frustrating. At the end of the night he messed up our bill too.

Google
Good food and a nice beer selection. Even some cask style ales here. If you can't decide, get a flight for about the same price as any of the regular beers. Really enjoyed the pizzas.

Google
I booked a reservation for my family for Mother’s Day brunch at Mad Fox. They had an excellent buffet at a great value. For $28/person they had a huge all-you-can-eat buffet with a variety of breakfast foods (French toast, eggs, meat, bagels, etc.), lunch foods (pulled pork, salad, grilled veggies, etc.), and desserts. They also offered discounted mimosas and Bloody Marys. The service was phenomenal and the food was tasty. There was also plenty of room in the brewery so that space never became cramped and awkward. I know a brewery might not seem the most likely of places to book a Mother’s Day brunch, but I highly recommend Mad Fox. Thanks for a great meal!

There are so many things we love about Mad Fox! Whether we go for drinks, dinner, or both, Mad Fox is one of our go-to restaurants. Service is always excellent whether its at the bar or a table. No matter what we're craving, there's something on the menu to please. While I do miss the homemade sausage and orecchiette pasta dish, I really enjoyed the new scallop risotto dish - I enjoyed it so much I forgot to snag a picture before eating it.

Google
Always great service and a pleasant experience. Staff are knowledgeable and friendly and they will always accommodate guests' needs. Prices are little high but worth it for the food quality and fresh beer. Don't forget to try the frickles!

Google
Great location and excellent quality food, but you're not going here for the food, are you? Although I'm more of a foodie than a craft drinker, one can appreciate dining in over a savory plate or drinking a choice brew with or without company. Point of advice: unless you must have beets, skip them and go for the fries instead. I tried being too healthy for my own good.

Yelp
This is a great spot to watch a game and eat some yummy foods. It's everything you'd expect out of a sports bar! Try their Bavarian pretzel it's my go to food here.

Yelp
My wife and I were walking past, and the place seemed filled with people having a good time. I'll say upfront that, in this case, I'm the old guy yelling for kids to get off my lawn. TLDR: Their business model suc... stinks. You go in and sit somewhere. A QR Code on each table takes you to the worst web page for ordering food. The app has you scroll through an unorganized list of items, each with little or no description and useless pictures, and select what you want to order. Then, you pay for your food, including the tip, and wait. Twenty minutes later, somebody passed by our table and dropped off our beverages. Thirty minutes later, we got the burger and nachos we ordered. Nobody was around to answer questions, let alone ask how we were doing. If you want water, you get it yourself from a big cooler they have sitting on a table. If you want a soda refill, go to the bar and wait your turn. My burger was OK. If I were going back to this place (I'm not), I would order something else. My wife's nachos were cold and she wouldn't order them again either. I get that their goal is to replace waitstaff with runners to cut costs. They would probably say the goal was to create a beer garden atmosphere. FWIW, I've been in Munich during Oktoberfest in a tent with over 5,000 people and got better service than we got here.

Jonah Z.

Yelp
Very friendly, and attentive staff. Four beers and a pizza plus tip will run you $70. Which is why I hate the DC area. I'd recommend picking up a 6pack togo for anyone on a budget.

David H.

Yelp
Another enjoyable visit here. You can't go wrong sitting on the patio during good weather but I just go inside and keep a tab at the bar to order instead of using the QR code on the table. Their beer selection can be a little too IPA heavy sometimes so be sure and check the website before you head over if you're like me and not an IPA fan. Didn't try any food this trip so can't comment on that but the staff is really friendly and I'll be back here again.

Jon T.

Yelp
Really surprised on how spacious this place is. There's an arcade section that features skeeball, two pinballs, a few arcade games. The other side features a stage for live bands to perform and a giant countertop where patreons can sit down and have a drink. I admit, I was bar hopping with a friend so we didn't really go for the food but we did get beers to try out. I think the best part is that you can order through your phone ( they have QR codes to scan ) and pay for it through there. If you are the introvert like me, this is great as you don't have to wait in the bar area if you are with a group of friends. I don't mind the convivence at all. I wasn't here for long but I think I can say I'll be checking more of this place soon!

Ryan K.

Yelp
If you're looking for a sports bar with all the football games on Sunday - you've found your spot. The beer is good, the food is ok, and the place is huge (at least by FCC standards).

Allen P.

Yelp
Stopped by on Saturday night. The band was great and so were the wings. We got the garlic parm and they were delicious. The cocktails were decent (not my favs but drinkable..... ) and it looked like they had a pretty extensive beer selection. We sat at the bar so service was pretty good. Seems like a cool place to hang out and grab a snack.

Yelp
Seeking Solace? Look Elsewhere! A recent Sunday night visit to thisnSolace Outpost location was a complete disaster from start to finish. If I could give zero stars, I would. Here's a breakdown of my horrendous experience: Atrocious Service The staff is physically present but ultimately useless. There was no greeting or direction to the "seat yourself, menu on QR code at table, order at the bar when ready" protocol that would have been helpful to know about upfront. Instead, I incorrectly assumed I had to submit my order through the digital menu, which would only let me do it if I selected a tip amount and paid in advance. This Parade of Horrors continued when I asked my waiter for a glass of water and was curtly told, "There is a self-serve water station inside." Horrible Food I went for the Spicy Chicken Thigh dish -- spicy Nashville batter, Alabama White BBQ, Citrus Ranch, Sweet & Spicy sauce; and the Expo's Tots -- crispy Tater Tots topped with rich chicken gravy, fried cheese curds, and fresh Parsley. Both had the same dominant notes of old grease and regret. I've had better food from a gas station. Either the cook was last minute Sunday night sand-in, or management has no interest in selling more of their brews by making food customers will want to eat. Overhyped Beer The beer was not bad but didn't live up to its description. I tried the Sonic Punch IPA -- Brewed with El Dorado, Citra hops plus Phantasm powder and thiolized yeast to create passion fruit and grapefruit flavors. It sounded amazing but tasted more than a decent basic brew. In summary, save your appetite, money, time, and trouble.

Yelp
Came here last night for the 1st time for the Kentucky Derby but it was insanely loud!!!!! I don't understand how the little babies didn't have headphones over their ears. I could barely hear anything. We moved to the back of the restaurant bar where the arcade area is but it felt isolated from the rest of the place even though there were TV's. Food is average bar food. Barely any service as you order from an app and they bring food to the table. I would consider going back again but if it's still as loud, I'd walk right back out. People come to hang out and socialize, if you can't hear each other, what's the point. If I have to yell at my family the whole night so they can hear me, we might as well be at home

Laura H.

Yelp
The service is always nice here but I find the food very heavy and greasy. Best for a couple of drinks and maybe some snacks. This place gets busy, inside where the games are is always packed- particularly on the weekend. Lots of kids so it's very family friendly. They have high chairs that you can grab for yourself too. They offer QR code ordering from the table and it always seems to work really well. A great spot.

Mark F.

Yelp
We walked in expecting a great brewery and instead it was a kids free-for-all screaming, running up and down and bumping into you with absolutely no adult supervision or weight staff control. We tried to order food and beer, but the kids kept running over and jumping on the bar stage, it was intolerable we just left.

Ricky E.

Yelp
The food is awful. Had their District Brat from Stachowski's. I honestly thought I was eating cardboard. It had absolutely no flavor. The brats from Safeway is gourmet compared to this place. The pizza is passable. My wife had the salad bowl, which was decent.

Doug M.

Yelp
I love Suns Out, but $9.69 for a pint - esp. at 4:00 in the afternoon - is criminal. Do better.

Claudia D.

Yelp
I really love this place and especially their partly cloudy ipa but definitely do not go on a weekend night. There is live music and it's SO LOUD. We walked right out and walked to dogwood tavern.

Jill V.

Yelp
Dana at the bar is the best in the business! I have to be honest I hadn't been to this place for years due to bad service once but they got rid of that man apparently and hired Dana! She is attentive, kind, and fun! Now I recommend this place thanks to her! The food is always delicious and the ambiance is a fun industrial vibe

Ajay M.

Yelp
Recently visited on a Saturday evening with the fam bam (4 year old included). If you're in Falls Church and looking for a decent crowd, good food, and great beer then this is your place. Family friendly, though don't expect a kids menu and crayons. Parking is ample in the adjacent garage and free of charge. On a Saturday evening with the Final Four games on we had no wait for a 4-top table. Also a private party had half of the place reserved. Solid menus for both food and drink (wine is available too). Self-serve at the bar, though there was no wait. Food was out literally before I sat down with our drinks. Recommend the selection of fries, and trying all of the beers (all of the IPAs especially the Partly Cloudy and Suns Out). Cheers!

Adrian B.

Yelp
I've been to this place several times and I always found it to have good food and good beer. Today's experience turned me off. I went in, took a seat at the bar while employees talked amongst themselves and was completely ignored for 5 minutes. I got up and walked out. They're busy enough. They don't need your patronage.

Al R.

Yelp
Went here for a private event. The entire space was very relaxed and inviting. Didn't get to order off the menu but had some sliders and tater tots and they were great. Ample bar space and lots of high top tables. Will go back if I am in the neighborhood.

Lester W.

Yelp
The place is a must! Live music, great food and drinks were on point! The bartenders are decent and attentive combating the large crowds.

Tim B.

Yelp
Shockingly good breakfast and brunch spot. Biked here on a Sunday and underestimated the scale and deliciousness of the breakfast food. Not as much in the way of beer compared to Alexandria location but still solid. Not too far from the bike trails and they let us stash bikes inside

Bill P.

Yelp
We went to their second anniversary celebration. The closed off the area in front to auto traffic and had set up tables with tent covers. They had live entertainment. We had drinks and sandwiches. I had their Sonic Punch (a beer) which was a special for their celebration. The sandwiches were a burger and a chicken sandwich. The sandwiches were good. There was a strong wind that was blowing food and drink containers. Several beer glasses broke when blown off the table. Otherwise, we had a good time.

Ryan C.

Yelp
Found this place while searching for new breweries and we figured we would give it a shot. There's little parking out front but they have a nice free garage just around the corner with plenty of spaces. They have a decent amount of tables outside but their inside space is huge. We opted for inside which wasn't so busy since outside was packed. We grabbed a few beers but our favorites were the Buzz Bin which had a nice coffee forward flavor and the Lucy Jucy which I only had a sip of but was a strong, slightly fruity double IPA. The food was pretty good, not the typical options I see at other breweries. We had the classic thighs (fried chicken thighs cut into strips), beer cheese & bacon fries, and funnel cake fries. The thighs has a nice crispy outside to them and the 4 dipping sauces is a nice touch. Gotta love options. The fries weren't bad, not super crispy but the beer cheese and bacon on top helped flavor wise. The funnel cake fries were very crispy and also had three dipping sauces. Great snack/dessert if you needed to pick something. Great spot to pick up a few beers and grab something a little different food-wise. Definitely a place where I don't have to wander around looking somewhere to sit so I plan on coming back.

Mark C.

Yelp
The service was awful. Each person was force to use a QR code and set up an account to pay for food. Also you couldn't run a tab. So each time you bought something you had to re-enter all your information. It was super annoying. The food was awful. I order shephards pie. It was basically a reheated frozen kit that the company bought. It came in an aluminum container and was crazy salty. My beer was flat. The ambiance of the place was also bad. It's nice to have live music but the acoustics made the place super loud. We went to the back of the restaurant where it wasn't too loud. The back was a kid's play area which is fine but not a great vibe unless your hoping for some skeet ball. Overall the place had crappy service, pricey and mediocre food, and a crappy vibe. I'll pass next time.

Klara C.

Yelp
We came here right before a major storm hit and the power went out. There's a parking garage right around the corner from Solace but otherwise, there is some street parking. They have 2 screens that show beers on tap and then a QR code on one of the menus that you can access the beer. It's pretty cool because it shows you what beers are available and how much of the keg is left for tap. They did have food menus though. My friend and I ordered 2 beers each and some Beer Cheese and Bacon Fries. I wish they did flights but the beers we chose were all very good. Beers ordered: Hope of Hearts ~ I'm not generally an IPA fan but this was surprisingly light and refreshing. It was not very hoppy and I would definitely order it again. Buzz Bin - I think my favorite out of the four that we had. It was a light beer which was surprising for it being a coffee beer. Coffee was not overpowering and paired really well with the lightness of the cream Ale. Golden Sunset - A lighter beer as well and very easy to drink. Quite refreshing and great for a hot day. Trost - I really enjoyed this but it was slightly heavier than the Golden Sunset. We got the fries a little after the power went out and they were very good. Before the computer systems powered down, all the checks were printed to close out. However, instead of accepting cash for any other transactions, they decided to close which was a little disappointing but understandable. It was entertaining sitting their in the dark - I used my phone for some music hooked up to their Bluetooth speaker. I'll probably go back another time just to experience it when a blackout is not occurring.

Yelp
Solace brews my current favorite session ipa. Been here a couple times picking up cans to go. Cans brewed in Sterling, Va. Lovely, friendly bar staff. Finally made it early enough to enjoy 'happy hour', arriving with an empty stomach to feast on their take on loaded tater tots, tot-chos. I'm aLways game to eat something over potatoes, yum. Very tasty, gut bomb to accompany delicious in-house brewed pours. My friend enjoyed their sliders too. Stayed to listen and visit with friendly open mic musical folks. Hurray for women sports muted on a few big screen TVs too. Very fun hang and sing, thank you all for a very welcoming experience! Looking forward to sitting outdoors in the near future. Cyclists: close to the W&OD and they offer half pours. Cheers!

Del R.

Yelp
The good news is that there's great beer. The bad news is that the place is wholly understaffed. This is one of those places where the owners are cutting costs by not hiring any waitstaff and making you order on your phone using a QR code. If you have questions or questions, tough noogies. The beer is good. But we don't go out to eat to get our own water from the igloo cooler, guess at what the food is like based on an internet description, and wait fifteen minutes to talk to the bartender.

Gregg M.

Yelp
Solace is a premier beer brewery in Ashburn VA and this "outpost" is a separate location in Falls Church VA. All of the beers are great. The food is good too but mostly bar type food like great pretzels.

Lauren Q.

Yelp
Beer was unimpressive. Food was less impressive. Fries were stone cold upon entry. Individual Pizzas came out after a 45m wait at dinner time and separated by a 10min lag between each order. Plus, it looks like Subway dressed the veggie pizza. (If you don't get that joke, you haven't been to subway.) I feel misled. Was this a cheese pizza with weak salad toppings? Beer glass tasted of soap and no amount of money will bring me back to yet another sub par brewery: yours. Be honored to get a 2 star review. The best part was leaving.

Shawn H.

Yelp
The pizza was inedible. I've never had such awful pizza. For a place that seems to have a short menu with pizza taking up most spots in it, I was shocked to find an absolutely dry thin pizza. Thin is great, but you couldn't even separate the cheese. The toppings were fine (chicken), but how can pizza come out like a crumbling, crusty, overcooked pita chip? It was bizarre, to say the least. The fries we're good though. Live music is always refreshing, and we had gone just for that atmosphere. It's nice that you can seat yourself anywhere though, and they has plenty of room. Parking isn't all that great but there's a public one around the back. I wouldn't come back for food. The variety of draft beers is heavenly though!

Emily M.

Yelp
Solace Outpost * * * Today was my first time visiting @solaceoutpost in Falls Church and I had such an amazing time!! They have a private area that you can rent out for special events such as holiday parties ‍ and a full bar and kitchen! * * * We sat at the bar for some quick bites and refreshments - every single bartender was so attentive and helpful. I truly enjoyed the Nashville chicken!! If you know me, I'm super picky about anything that claims to be hot and Nashville style since I spent a good chunk of my 20s living in TN!! But this appetizer did not disappoint and the portions are large. * * * If you're looking for a laid back place to watch some sports, catch up with some friends or to just enjoy some @solacebrewing craft beers, make sure to stop by and give them a try!!

Peter C.

Yelp
The service at this location was horrible. Sitting at the bar - the bartender stood directly across from me and didn't acknowledge me, didn't ask if I wanted a drink, never even looked at me, etc. Essentially avoided all contact. I have been coming here since they opened but will not return - too many other places in Falls Church give great customer service. It is sad to see the decline of the customer service compared to when they opened.

Mischa J.

Yelp
Very nice place to grab a beer and a pizza, and other foods. I will try some of their other foods in the future. Only downside is that they do not have those sample platter trays, where you can get 4 or 6 five-ounce glasses of different beers to try in one sitting. I usually like to go for those. That would be a great addition. Also, I think tater tots would be a nice addition to the menu, and I did not see a dessert menu. Otherwise, all else was good!

Ken F.

Yelp
Good beer. I prefer more malt in my west coast IPAs but enjoy their beer. The food is the issue. I recently went with my kids and they burnt all of our burgers. How do you burn a burger? Let alone charge $14? And charge more for fries? In all fairness the fries were good. The staff were great! They recognized the issue and ordered us more food. But when we got it...more charred burgers. At least the fries are good!

Jose M.

Yelp
First time trying there food today but before I get to that I want to say that their customer service is A-1, Word to Patrick at the bar. Their bootleg burger was phenomenal, it had so much flavor and generous in size. Can't say much for the atmosphere because it was pretty early but it seems like a very chill spot during the day to come and enjoy with a group. I'd like to return and play some of their arcade games and try out more of the menu.

Elizabeth K.

Yelp
My husband, kid, and I would come here about once every two weeks for lunch/games/beer. Loved it. Then they changed the menu and the food went from inexplicably delicious for a brewery (though admittedly a smaller menu) to just... mediocre if I'm being generous. The swing in quality was just enormous. I cannot tell you how sad I am to lose a great walkable option. Despite the fact that their beers mostly aren't my style (I can still always find one that's totally fine), I was a dedicated, regular customer who frequently recommended the place to other locals. I'm not going back until the food is fixed (though I don't expect it will be). I'm sure they won't mind the loss of one family, but I'm also not the only review in the last two months citing poor quality food. Any reviews talking about the quality of the food before Sept/October 2022 should be ignored, all of that's gone now.

Daniel M.

Yelp
Solace Outpost is in the old Mad Fox space in Falls Church. Often has live music to entertain the hard drinking weekend crowd. I tried the Lucy Juicy Double IPA and my wife had the Brave Noise--all good here! Very limited menu. I had the Chicken Thighs, which were interesting but did not overwhelm. My wife had the Meat Pizza, which came with extremely spicy meatball topping. I would recommend this place to get a beer, but the food is not the draw!

Mike R.

Yelp
I'm not real sure what this place is trying to be, when or if it grows up. We went here around 4PM on a Saturday afternoon and it was pretty dead. First the good. The pilsner was excellent and my wife enjoyed the Sangria. The onion rings were mid at best. The service was sketchy at best. You order at the bar and they bring you your order. But, they have large Igloo coolers scattered around to serve yourself, feels like a construction site. Room is large and noisy with lots of TV's. We sat at what I late figured was to be the stage for live music at 8 because a fellow stared removing seats and tables around us and we felt uncomfortable and unwelcome. At one end of the building is an arcade area giving a Chuck E Cheese vibe or a missed attempt at a Dave and Busters wannabe. It's a shame because whoever is the brew master is really good. Frankly, I'd give this a 1 in 3 chance of being around in six months. BTW, I believe this is the third branding of this location. I really hope I'm wrong. Oh, one last thing, big ups for a spotless restroom.

Lottie Y.

Yelp
Great location with plenty outdoor seating and it has arcade inside. The Bloody Mary was way too spice not a good fan. Beer was good. The spice chicken was tasty too.

Molly H.

Yelp
On a little solo vacation and after a massage and mani/pedi in this same little area - I was starving! I popped in here and it was exactly what I needed. I got the Tuscan bowl, which was DELICIOUS. It was fresh, flavorful and filling. I also got a 2 legit 2wit/limoncello/fresh raspberry cocktail and it also hit the spot. I finished off with a "Shadows of the Night" beer which was perfect, it has roasted coffee and dark chocolate notes with a creamy finish. The staff was awesome- personable, nice and funny. And gave me a perfect recommendation for a good thrift store in the area!

J. H.

Yelp
I've been coming to this Solace location for two years and I would give it 5 stars on the beer alone. However, most of the staff is inattentive, looking at their phones, and just give off a dgaf vibe. Several times we've been in for happy hour and you have to tell the staff you want happy hour price or else they'll charge you the full amount (same size beer, so they know what they're doing). Today, ordered the bowls which are good and worth the money, but to add chicken it's an extra $4 (cool, noted). Get the check and the chicken is charged at $5, plus there's a service charge for using a credit card! It's sad to say, but I won't be coming back here to get up-charged and ignored.

Some G.

Yelp
Excellent beer, food is spotty, service is... hmph. Maybe if they'd hire some actual, y'know, like, WAITERS, I'd be a little more generous with my review. I had the Nashville hot chicken; it was delicious but should have been allowed to drain a little longer before serving, and could have been hotter. Tots were undercooked, anemic and flabby. Bartender on a quiet weekday lunch hour was kinda surly, but he (or an app, which: Hard Pass) was our only option for ordering food since apparently having wait staff isn't hip enough or something. I'd definitely come back to drink beer, but I think I'm likely to eat elsewhere.

Barry S.

Yelp
Food was very mediocre. Had a brat on a bun, corn and cheese small salad and onion rings. Sangria to drink. Nothing was bad but hardly worth going back for.

Yan W.

Yelp
A much better establishment than Mad fox, which was previously at this location. The food was good bar food - I the poutine and the brunch pie were good for a moment. The beers were also okay. I tasted the lost in the future which was meh and cised which was much better. So between the two of them, okay. The cised smelled funny. Like dirty cup funky water funny. My lower rating had to do with customer service. I sat outside since it was during the pandemic, and repeatedly asked for the heat lamp or plentiful fire pits to be turned on. Everyone on staff said they would but nobody did. We even walked inside to ask. There were plenty of gas canisters in a cage too so it's not like they didn't have enough canisters. The group next to us just went inside. Had to take all their food and cups inside... I would also understand if they said no for one reason or another but we kept waiting and getting colder. My food also came out pretty cold. It wasn't too cold outside but there was a between building breeze which made it more uncomfortable as night came and the weather got colder. It makes it not as appetizing if you have to eat cold fries with cold gravy and cold cheese on top. We saw one of the people we ask talking to a pretty lady later... They have so much potential, but because I was so cold towards the end of the night I just stopped ordering and we left. With all of that it just does not make me want to go back.

Yelp
Quiet on a friday night, obviously due to 2020 things. It looks like a fun place and would love to come back with my covid bubble of friends! Couple arcade games and lots of space to hang out. Outdoor seating was the choice for Friday. Menus available via QR code and you order at the bar, grab a number, and they bring your food out to you. My friend and I shared the meat pizza and a happy hour serving of chicken thighs. Food was ok, nothing outstanding, but I didn't really have a server to make recommendations, so maybe we didn't choose the right things to order. Happy hour specials on beer were great! No kids menu, but I did see families enjoying the open seating as well.

Yelp
Solace Outpost takes the place of former Mad Fox Brewing. Good beers at a fair price...especially on happy hour (Mon-Fri 4-6)!

Yelp
The second star is only for the beer. Inattentive and unfriendly bartenders. I was planning on staying to eat but no one bothered to ask if I wanted anything so I just closed out and left. It's a shame because the beer is good.

Yelp
Good food and good beers. Love their tater tots. Been meaning to try the fried chicken but I always got for brats instead.

Yelp
I am happy I came across this place. Been twice and will make my way over again when time permits. Great selection of beers to include that they have a good food menu selection. I am in love with the Nashville hot chicken thighs that comes with a variety of sauces on the side and the loaded fries. The place is super clean, kid friendly with an arcade and spacious indoor and outdoor seating. Amazing and attentive staff. Thank you Walter for making your customers feel welcomed. Can't wait to be back soon!

Yelp
Great beer and great pizza. What more can you ask for! Plenty of parking in the retail garage, the Outpost is located in a little shopping center perfect for all taste buds. We came here on a Friday night and there was plenty of seating indoors spaced out. The venue is HUGE and also has outdoor seating. The beer is fresh and crisp but the pizza is CRISP. Love a good thin crust--not too heavy and got a side of cheddar bacon fries. Beautiful combo to kick off the weekend right. Can't wait to go back now that it's getting warmer.
