You can tell they take pride in their space and their service. The sandwich selection is unbelievable. Whether you want something classic or something a little creative, they have a gourmet option for every mood. Everything tastes super fresh, the portions are generous, and the ingredients are top-tier. Friendly staff, spotless environment, and a menu full of delicious choices — Mad Mac’s has definitely earned a spot on my regular rotation. Highly recommended!

This was my first time eating here, and it didn’t quite match the great reviews I’d read. I ordered the Reuben sandwich with fries. The sandwich itself was flavorless, and the meat was overcooked, which was disappointing. The fries were fine, but the main dish just missed the mark for me. I’m still willing to try the restaurant again since so many people seem to enjoy it, but I won’t be ordering the Reuben again. Hoping my next visit is better!

I really hate to give this rating because I’ve enjoyed this place, but today was such TERRIBLE customer service that I left without even getting my food. I came in, finishing a call. The cashier watched me walk in, come to the register (no one else waiting in line), made eye contact then turned her back to me. Continued for several minutes talking to the young lady behind her making the sandwiches. Still waiting at the register, and still on my call because I haven’t been greeted & she’s not even facing my direction, while they’re giggling & chatting for at least 5 minutes, wondering why she hasn’t come to take my order (considering I’m only 2-3 feet away from her & she saw me walk in & up to the register). I eventually start looking around. Unbeknownst to me, there’s a sign under the menu about a no phone policy while ordering. I’ve been here 2 or 3 times and never noticed because I always order the same thing, no need for me to look at the menu. I ask her, “you couldn’t have just told me there was a no phone policy instead of ignoring me?” She finally turns around & just points at the sign. I advised that I didn’t see the sign initially or I wouldn’t have been on a call. But in CUSTOMER SERVICE you could just politely let the CUSTOMER know. She twists her neck & rolls her eyes & continues pointing at the sign “WE HAVE A STRICT NO PHONE POLICY”. Then takes the guy’s order that came in behind me. I have zero issue with the policy, but this cashier was SO nasty about an interaction that could have easily been explained. Not everyone is going to see a sign that is not even a full notebook sheet in size. All that needed to be said was that the policy existed. I enjoy this food, but her attitude was terrible and I’m sure it wouldn’t have happened if a manager or the owner was on site. Very disgusted with her attitude & lack of respect.

First time there, had a great patty melt, perfectly cooked. Also, the fries were phenomenal! Service was both friendly and prompt. Price was a bit high, but well worth it for the quality.

The customer service was great . The location was clean . There is a good variety on the menu. But the turkey burgers were honestly the worse we have ever had. We did love the fries. And we dont eat beef so those are probably better and the reason for the good reviews. The texture was off, a bit rubbery and tough. Not like it was over cooked or under cooked , just very weird as was the taste. This is not to be a bad review and maybe we just went on an off day. But for the price I paid and the reviews I expected much more.

This place is so good I'm making my way through the menu. I have the privilege to work in the area and so far the Alabama slammer has been my favorite sandwich it was very flavorful. The portions are plentiful and we'll worth the money.

Unbelievable! I ordered the harvest chicken sandwich of the month and it was awesome! It was fresh, light, tasty and not too crispy. The roll was also warm and fresh. The garlic and parmesan fries were very fresh and delicious. The customer service was prompt and professional and the restaurant was very clean. These are not ‘sandwiches’ they are ‘samiches’! Only a few will understand this!

I got the Deli Chicken Wrap, on spinach with fries and a sweet tea. The wrap was fresh, and the fries were so good! Everyone is very friendly, with very quick service. I placed a to-go order, so I didn't eat inside, but the ambiance reminded me of a coffee shop, very relaxing and seemed like an enjoyable place to eat inside. I will be back! (:

Service was attentive and recommended additional option that weren't listed on the menu. Their Pride Road drinks were AWESOME! Real cane sugar and no artificial coloring or additives! The spicy ranch BLT was pretty good but the fries were soggy. I wish that it was placed on something to soak up the grease. I will be back again, and again.

I just had lunch here and it was very good. The staff was super friendly and welcoming. It was a very clean and comfortable atmosphere. They have a great selection of sandwiches that all look really good. I had the pleasure of getting the Reuben. It was a perfectly grilled sandwich with fantastic flavor. One issue I have when I get Reubens, is the sauerkraut isn't flavorful enough, that is not the case here. The sauerkraut and the dressing on the sandwich were both very tasty and flavorful. I also had the garlic fries which were also fantastic. This place will likely become a regular lunch spot. I highly recommend giving it a try.

The food selection is amazing the service is incredible. The ambiance is good the only problem is the sitting area is small. If you go get there before 11:30am.. this place goes off the chain at lunch time... is it worth it.. definitely. The sandwiches the wraps the salads.. you can't go wrong...

We found this place on yelp while looking for a spot for lunch. The pastrami sandwich was so good and my coworker said the burger was great! The staff was friendly and inviting and the restaurant was really cute. We got there before noon and it was packed so it must be a local favorite.

Went here on a business lunch. I ordered the Georgia Gold sandwich. If you order the combo, it comes fries and a drink. I got the spicy fries. This consists of a spicy mixture of spices sprinkled over them. The sandwich was served hot. The chicken was tender, and the red onion and pickles added a great flavor boost. Small seating area. Staff was friendly and helpful. Will definitely return.

Food was incredible and the service was like no other, made you feel good to be there. For Full transparency I was flying through town and this place came up, great reviews, so I drove the 8 miles out of my way and it was worth it! The only bad thing, is I don't live close to enjoy it. Go, you won't be disappointed, the chef, I believe he is the owner and if he isn't, he sure acts like he's invested. Just really nice person. Lady at counter should give other establishments a lesson in customer service!

1st time visit for lunch today at Mac's. Was really blown away with the place. Service was quick and attentive. The place looked great, good atmosphere good ambiance. The food was amazing. We had a Mac attack burger and a steak sandwich! Homestyle fries were delicious! Must go back!!

Nom nom nom nom!!!! The rib-eye sand which is dope. Swap the Siracusa sauce for horseradish mayo in the spicy version it's a hit. The Nashville hot catfish slaps and the turkey Rueben is a finishing move. All great food.

I go here for lunch every time I'm in Forest Park for work. Get a different item everyone and it's always delicious, fresh, and fast.

Spectacular! Must try! The tiny dinning area is your only obstacle. Other than that you should come try it. The food is just superb. The people that work there are friendly and knowledgeable. I highly Recommend this place!

I really enjoyed this gem! Everything was delicious the staff were friendly, and everything was clean and organized. Bathrooms included. I'd definitely make this place my go-to sandwich and burger spot!

This was my second stop in this gourmet shop. It's sparkling clean and the staff is extremely nice. Where this place fell short in my opinion is the lack of food given. If I pay $11.15 for a turkey Rueben I would like more than three slices of thin turkey on my sandwhich. There were more bites with just bread and sauce then there was turkey. I had the same issue my first stop in. I got a chicken salad. It was close to $15.00 if I recall correctly. I remember opening the salad and seeing the amount of chicken on it and thinking to myself "no way!". That is why I initially didn't want to review this place. Was just hoping they were having a moment; however that is not the case here. I totally get it costs are up and every one is trying to stretch a buck but this place takes it a little too far in my opinion. It's definitely not "you get what you pay for". I will not return to this sandwhich place again. I can go across the street to Chick Fil A and pay $5.00 for a chicken sandwhich and I can count on that chicken sandwhich being the same serving size every time and I got my moneys worth and then some! But then again. I also got fast food and a ton of sodium in my system at that point but you get my analogy

I had the fried green tomatoes and when I say the grease that it was fried in was not friendly to my stomach. The turkey wrap tasted like processed meat but it was fresh. Food was delivered not sure the ambiance was cool

My husband & I really enjoyed ourselves. First time coming & it won't be the last. I had the turkey sandwich & my husband had the Ruben. We both shared​ the hotdog... delicious.

Nothing special! I tried this restaurants for the first time Monday 3/27 I ordered a mini Mac burger and the Alabama slammer chicken sandwich with fries. The fries were the best part of the meal in my opinion being I like the style of fries. My chicken sandwich was over cooked dark dark brown which caused the chicken to be dry. Nothing special about the burger either. It's a average sandwich spot

Nice juicy Burgers but leave the chili dogs be because the chili is not good, there was little if any meat in it and the beans were so mushy it could be spread like peanut butter.

Super friendly over the phone/pickup customer service. Received a text when the order was ready which I loved. Catfish sandwich was delicious. Hot Fries are amazing if you like spice. Fried green tomatoes were steaming hot and crunchy, YUM! My sister really enjoyed her Reuben sandwich. Whenever im in Atlanta this will be a staple.

Amazing Food! The Turkey sandwich is phenomenal, who knew fig jam was a thing and it is so good on a sandwich ... paired with even better customer service. They were so helpful and patient with me and my friend being first time customers and didn't know what to try. Great recommendations and also even allowing me to try a sample of the corn chowder soup ...#AMAZING it was an instant buy lol The entire staff was super sweet and fun loving, they have fun with their customers and I will be back to try everything on the menu and enjoy the great energy & atmosphere. My new favorite place !

This place is pretty cool, I like the staff and the food sometimes. Just whatever you do, don't get the black bean burger. It's soggy and mushy. But the two other things I've tried have been great. Also VERY pricey.

Awesome spot! Was hungry wanted to find something different in the area. Located newly at a small building in Forest Park. Inside was really clean menu display was clear with photos. Lots of seating. Got my food to go. Got my husband the Mac Attack and myself the Gatsby Gal. Hand cut fresh fries. Burger and Sandwich was delicious. Didn't have to wait long for food. Small dessert display for pick up. Tempted but didn't get anything. Great variety of things. Will definitely return if in the area. Price was a little bit high but food is made to order so you get what you pay for. Super fresh food. Clerk was very nice when taking order.

The only reason I'm give it 3 out of 5 stars is because my turkey burger had way too much mustard on it! I like mustard but this is the whole grain type mustard so a little goes a long way but y burger had the mustard oozing out on both sides of the bun and it completely ruined the burger! Other than that the burger was hot fresh as were the fries and it didn't take too long to get the food. The to go lady was very nice and answered all of my questions! Their menu is pretty big there's almost too much to choose from lol and my other complaint is that they don't have turkey bacon. I know this is the south but if you're willing to do turkey burgers you should do turkey bacon because that Fried Green Tomato BLT looks amazing and I'm highly upset it's only with pork bacon. Might try it again not in a rush though.

I've been here many many times and I've tried just about all the gourmet sandwiches and every single one is amazingly good and the fries are always cooked to perfection. If you want a unique tasty sandwich go to Mad Macs!

Visited December 2018- I was not in a hurry to complete. I work at a local school and most options are Chick Fil and KFC however their lines and quality vary so I decided to give Mad Mac a chance. My Colleagues gushed over how good the burgers are. Well I jumped on the bandwagon knowing my eating habits are not like others. People consider my eating habits to be juvenile as I don't like condiments, or garden/set on my burgers only the meat, cheese, bacon and bun.. So to say my burger taste dry is not very easy for me to say. My expectation for my burger were higher that it should've been just based off the reviews. My food cost me over $12.00 and all I got was burger and fries. The fries were cold and the meat was not seasoned and just taste like meat.

Awesome sandwiches! Very friendly staff and quick. Will definitely frequent this place when I'm on that side of Atlanta.

A fabulous addition to the area. I made it in for the soft opening. The grand opening is September 4th. I was impressed with the menu. Good sized sandwiches and sides make for an enjoyable lunch. The ingredients make the experience. Upgrades meats and toppings on classic sandwiches. Many of the sandwich combinations come from the owner's friends and family. Enjoy.

Mac's sandwiches are definitely gourmet! I had the Alabama Slammer and it was delicious. The hand cut garlic parm fries were a great compliment. One of the best sandwiches I've had delivered.

I absolutely love this place! Their Turkey sandwich is simple but so good! I also really liked their Chicken salad sandwich but sadly they took it off the menu. They have stepped their game up on their fries! Definitely recommend this place.

Great, fresh food, their fries are good. For it being fresh, they are pretty quick at getting food out and they are so busy around lunch time. Get there early and you should be fine, not much seating options, but it's a type of place that is in and out.

Small place that can get crowded and parking can be tough. That's the only downside to this place. The food is awesome. Great burgers, great sandwiches. Especially the pastrami. The people are as nice as can be. It's my go to lunch spot in Forest Park. Try it, you won't be sorry.

Tried this place for the first time saw it on Yelp with pretty good rating. I ordered a Reuben sandwich and small salad which was just blah! The Reuben had small amount of meat which did not cover the entire sandwich and didn't taste or see any thousand island dressing. So I paid $9 for a poorly made sandwich and $3.95 for lettuce, onions and 3 cherry tomatoes. This place did not impress me at all. The friendly service is why I gave it a two rating.

I like trying different sandwiches from this place. So far, I've always been pleasantly surprised. I enjoy sitting in and enjoying the meal. Speedy service is great. Relaxing atmosphere for fast food. My one negative would be the hours of operation. They close early and enjoy weekends off occasionally. Overall, I would recommend as an excellent sandwich shop.

Sandwiches were not big. Chicken was burnt. For the price, sandwiches should've been more satisfying. I'm always open to supporting business, so if wanna try, go for it, but I will not go back.

Went here for lunch today, my second time here. Was greeted be a friendly smile. The fish and chips was recommended. It was tasty but was not worth the $13 for two small pieces of fish and fries. With a drink and tax the total was over $16. The music was turned up too loud and the door from the kitchen to the dining room kept slamming. For just a minute of time and an Allen wrench someone could adjust that door closer to close more quietly.

Tried it today for the first time with my brother! Food and service was really good. I got the Burglar burger with fries and my brother got the Low Country burger... I was not a big fan of the steak sauce in it but that's just my own preference, highly recommended for those who like a sweet, tangy sauce. Fries were delicious though and my brother said his was really good! Also lots of seating available too :)

Awesome place to grab lunch while in this area. I tried the Cordon Blue chicken sandwich and it was awesome!! The hand cut fries were delicious as well! A little pricey! 13$ for lunch, but i think it was worth every penny. I will definitely return when I'm the area again!

Mad Mac's is a delicious, fresh made option in a sea of crappy fast food in the Forrest Park area. Everything is always fresh, and delicious.

Food was decent but WAYYYYY too expensive for sandwiches in the middle of Forest Park.

Got the Alabama slammer on a wrap, twice now ... and it is delicious! The restaurant is nice inside and the quality of the food is great. Loved the garlic Parmesan fries!! Will definitely be back.

I've heard rave reviews about this place from coworkers. Most friends are consistent and go back for the same items like the fish and chips with seasoned fries ( was slightly jealous after seeing their food). Next time getting the fish. I decided to try something new, as their menu choices sound amazing. I selected the Kentucky Blue (burger with blue cheese, caramelized onions and a bourbon sauce). I'm surprised that I didn't really care for the bourbon sauce. Just tasted like a super sweet BBQ sauce instead of bourbon flavored. ‍ Also, tried the peach tea! That went well with my burger. Other than the sauce issue, I will be coming back!

I want to give this place 5 stars. The food is excellent! But the pricing, especially for Forrest Park, will kill this potentially very successful restaurant. The place is clean. The food is fantastic and the staff is professional.

Good food, great food for Clayton county and forest park! The only thing they can improve on is their prices. Wow $10-$12 for a SANDWICH. Without fries or a drink? I really want to return but it's a little far fetched for that price... for a burger.
