"The fast-casual College Station joint doesn’t stand on tradition. Order tortillas stuffed with jerk chicken, Cuban sandwich fixings, or mushrooms and spinach. Or skip the carbs entirely and make it a tuna lettuce wrap. Takeout orders can be placed online; there are indoor and outdoor dine-in areas." - Brandon Watson

Prepare for explosions of flavor. Mad Taco is among my favorite restaurants in College Station. The tamale bread tortillas are perfection and the margarita flights are game changing. New flavors of tacos and margaritas are introduced monthly/seasonally and rarely disappoint. This may not be the best venue for the pickiest of eaters; the children’s menu is a safe place for those that are hesitant. I would not hesitate in recommending Mad Taco as definitely worth visiting while in Bryan/College Station.

Pretty great first visit, must say! Stopped in on a Friday lunch, expecting it to be annoyingly-busy but thankfully it was lovely-busy lol. Tacos, queso, margs, ambiance, AND service was outstanding. Def recommended if you need any of the above. Pros: Both inside and outside seating Well varied menu What seem like fresh tortillas (And fresh food) Above all: the vast ALCOHOLIC DRINK MENU. So many options with SO many sizes. Regular, large, even quarts and GALLONS. Also have rocks. Frozen, mixers, and so many flavors. Definitely rare to see. Not to mention what seems to be a full bar (from the view at my table). And lastly, drinks to go. yum yum yum.

Came here for a work lunch today and was happy to see such a nice patio. The layout, style and menu is very similar to a torchy's. The big difference here is the margarita menu and tortilla type. Mad Taco serves a warm, delicious corn/flour hybrid tortilla. Delicious, but has some faults when it comes to wet tacos piled with toppings and salsas. Service was fast and friendly and the food tasted good. I went with the Jerk Chicken and Beer Battered Fried Mahi fish taco! Yum

Mad Taco has a lot going for it, good vibe, decent food and flights of margaritas. They were short staffed the day we went, but I forgive them, it was graduation week at A&M (the reason for our visit).

Wow, we stopped by here on the way back to College Station and this place is awesome! Very casual inside but the service is very good and the food is AWESOME! I'm from Texas and miss the grilled/smokey/Mexican vibe and this place NAILS it. I had the Jamaican Jerk taco and Pork taco and they were both great. My two work colleagues had other tacos and they were all great. The rocks margaritas were also very good. Overall we had a GREAT trip here and would highly recommend it.

First time to eat here today (5-5-19) pretty big crowd on Sunday lunch time. It's a counter service but a staff will help you if you hang the green sign on the napkin holder for refill of chips, etc.We ordered chips and queso, beef fajita (picture not include) Mahi-Mahi, Blackened shrimps tacos. All of them were delicious. The tacos were small so you need to order two to make a meal.

Great fried shrimp taco and the mushroom taco tasted great, glad they had some pescaestarian/vegetarian option. My Rita coloda was tasty and a bit strong even. Chips and salsa were the only disappointment. Will be back again!
