Madam Tran Restaurant - Vietnamese Restaurant & Vegan Foods

Had the best experience any vegetarian can have! We reached here at 11PM post which they only serve soups. But they were so nice to accommodate our request for full meal as we were hungry. The love with which they serve food is a delight to relish. Very grateful to Grandma for being the sweetest soul. She gave us banana when we were leaving, our stomach and heart both full.

Zin and his team were amazing in their service and hospitality while serving us food. The duck breast was succulent and the stir fried chicken and shrimps turned out to be authentic as well. I highly recommend this place if you are looking for meals in the old quarters of Hanoi.

Very nice and cozy restaurant. Food was delicious. The fresh spring rolls with chicken and pineapple as well as the traditional ones with beef were the best ones we had during our trip across Vietnam. Ben was an excellent and very attentive waiter and on top gave us recommendations for what to do and see during our stay in Ha Noi :-)

Had a fabulous time! Loved the spring rolls. Johnny (from Incheon) was a wonderful waiter who gave table side spring roll / Gimbap wrapping! Service exceptional. Food delightful! Multi cultural dinner experience with multi lingual waiter. Highly recommend come just for Johnny!

Only 2-3 vegan options, rest contains eggs, be aware if you are vegan. I ordered a bowl of pumpkin soup. It was tiny bowl for more than 3USD! and instead of coconut milk it came with diary cream!!! I sent it back. Shouldn’t be vegan mentioned in the name in my opinion. Very disappointed.

We had a great time and food experience eating at Madam Tran, with Johnny as the staff assisting us. He spoke great English so it was easy communicating about our orders. Also, the food was all great and delicious! We were happy to have spent our last dinner at Hanoi at Madam Tran!

We had a great meal with the whole family, several dishes, each was very tasty and fresh. The atmosphere was welcoming, and Zin took wonderful care of us. Recommend ordering the Vietnamese Pancake (Banh Xeo). We’ll definitely be coming back!

I had tried hot pot with chicken at Madam Tran and it was just fabulous. The broth was delicious with a proper quantity of meat and veggies. Some of the staff speak English so it is easy to communicate. There are other dishes very famous at Madam Tran but the quantity is very generous so order accordingly. Definitely a hit when you are taking a leisurely walk in the old quarters and want to grab something to eat.
