Madame Lam - Vietnamese Contemporary Cuisine

We ordered six dishes, and every single dish was absolutely delicious. Taste was amazing, and everything was cooked perfectly. On top of that, the service was perfect. My waitress, Trihn was very kind and friendly. Grilled Beef mango and dragon fruit salad was highly recommend. Atmosphere was also enjoyable.

Had a fantastic dinner at Madame Lam in Ho Chi Minh City — a Michelin-recommended gem that blends Vietnamese tradition with modern flair. The jellyfish salad was a standout starter: incredibly fresh, vibrant in flavor, and with a crunchy texture that made it perfect for the tropical heat. Definitely one of the best appetizers I’ve had in a while. For dessert, I tried the banana coconut milk ice cream, it’s creamy, light, and subtly sweet, it was the ideal way to end the meal. The restaurant itself has a beautiful Indochine-inspired interior that feels both refined and cozy. Service was warm and attentive, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable. If you're looking for elevated Vietnamese cuisine with thoughtful presentation and a relaxed, elegant vibe, Madame Lam is definitely worth a visit.

Excellent food and great service. We chose two menus...every dish dish on both menus was truly delicious. Great combinations of flavours. Uyen, our waitress, was making our experience even more enjoyable. Thank you very much we were truly pleased by this experience.

Although this restaurant is quite popular and the staff mentioned a promotion offering a free dessert for leaving a review on Google Maps, I chose not to participate in the promotion—but I still want to give a genuine 5-star review based on my excellent dining experience. I ordered three tapas, one salad, one drink, and one dessert. Every dish exceeded my expectations. The menu offers a wonderful combination of authentic Vietnamese flavors and modern creativity. The portion sizes were also just right for a solo diner. The service team was helpful and friendly, promptly clearing my plates after each course. I had a small issue with my dessert order, but Ms. Huỳnh Thị Cẩm Hà kindly assisted me and resolved it smoothly. Overall, I truly enjoyed my time here and would be happy to return.

This restaurant serves excellent Vietnamese cuisine with a unique twist. Everything we ordered was delicious, and the beef-mango dish exceeded our expectations, along with the stir-fried vegetables and claypot rice. I highly recommend this place. Good value for money too.

One of the best meals I’ve had in HCM. While it’s slightly pricier than the average restaurant, the quality of the food was good. Not to mention the menu was extensive and it was really difficult trying to narrow down what we wanted to try. Defo recommend! (Around the area there’s also a dog cafe, some other eateries and bars - a totally nice and vibey neighbourhood)
