Based on all the amazing reviews, I was really looking forward to dining here. We decided to celebrate my wife's birthday, and came out in a small group. The positives: The atmosphere and décor are amazing. You feel like you are in a fancy restaurant in downtown of a major city. We all loved it. Another big plus is that it is a BYOB restaurant, so we were able to bring wines that we liked. Our waiter was nice and courteous. There was just one more group in the restaurant so it was not really busy. The negatives: The soups we ordered were warm, not hot, like they should be. Overall the presentations of the food were nice, but the food itself was lacking freshness. The pad thai was unique, since the noodles were wrapped in an egg "pocket". I ordered it with chicken and got a dry chicken breast cut into slices on the "pocket". For a $17 pad thai plus $12 for the chicken, it was a pricey and disappointing dish. The pineapple fried rice came in half of a pineapple. Couple of shrimps. Nice presentation, but $30+ for warm fried rice, is a bit steep. Having BYOB helps offset the higher than average prices if you drink alcohol. Everyone's food was OK, but not great. I think the food is overpriced, but you are paying a premium for a really nice atmosphere. Personally, I'd rather eat amazing Thai dishes in an average mom and pop Thai restaurant, and pay more reasonable prices. If the food was really good I would have no issues. But the fact that it was average at best, and the high prices, will not make us come back. However, if you are looking for a nice, cozy romantic restaurant, this might be a great fit.
