I recently had the pleasure of enjoying drinks and dinner here with a few friends to wrap up the summer on August 28th. I totally forgot to post my review until now! This was our first time dining here, and the food and overall experience were fantastic. One friend complimented on the selection, and another mentioned he plans to bring his wife here soon. Lastly, the view of the NYC skyline was absolutely spectacular.

Quite an amazing dinner we had all thanks to the spectacular food and great service from Anthony. Every part of the dinner was great from the view of the city to the Tres Leches dessert. The French onion soup and branzino also deserve shout-outs. We'll be back!

Liberty House has rebranded as Maddy Rose but the things that made us love the restaurant are thankfully still true. Stunning views, the best service, and delicious food make this place a delight to visit. We were glad to have Anthony again as our server and he took exceptional care of us.

Maddy Rose offers a chic atmosphere and a stunning skyline view of NYC. The free parking is a nice touch, with a convenient kiosk to enter your license plate info. The portions, however, are quite small for the price, which is a bit disappointing. That said, our waiter Anthony was wonderful, and the view really makes up for the high cost. It's definitely a place to try once for the experience, but not sure I’d return for the food.

Beautiful spot by the water in Jersey City with an amazing view overlooking the NYC skyline. The food was good and well presented. It’s definitely on the pricier side, but you’re really paying for the experience, the atmosphere, and the view. Great place for a special occasion or a night out when you want to enjoy the scenery.

I stopped into Maddy Rose at Liberty House after spotting it on my way into Liberty State Park, and I’m so glad I did. Even without a reservation, I was welcomed at the bar, where Henry made me a delicious chocolate martini and went above and beyond to accommodate my request for fries with my chicken sandwich. The service from Henry and the other bartenders was friendly, fast, and attentive—they even brought me a water without me asking after I finished my drink. Despite a couple of functions happening at the venue, I felt like I was their top priority. The prices were reasonable, and the view of the skyline was absolutely stunning. Henry is a star, and I’ll definitely be back!

I can not rate this restaurant high enough. We have traveled the world and this was one of the best meals and experiences of our lives. To begin, Ronaldo our server was superb. He was attentive and conversational and made us feel so special all night long. The food was divine, we had the Prosciutto/Ricotta, Sushi Roll, Brussels Sprouts, Salmon, & Ribeye and every single thing was beyond amazing. But what blew us away was the hospitality. We had reserved our table on Open Table and clicked "anniversary" button when they asked if we are celebrating anything. We were then greeted by first name on arrival, sat at one of the best tables in the restaurant, given menus with "Happy Anniversary Kada & Austin" printed on it (see pics below), given a special dessert and departed with our special menus, a personalized card and truffles. The entire staff went above and beyond for two regular customers who casually clicked "anniversary" on open table. We were blown away by the entire night and can not wait to make this our spot together moving forward. THANK YOU to the entire team at Maddy Rose, especially Ronaldo!

Great view. Average food. Pricey. If you value food, don’t go here. If you like posh, sure why not. Live quartet was nice. Went for Christmas Eve prix fixe dinner, $85 per person of appetizer/entree/dessert, and roughly breaks down to $20/$50/$15. Autumn Harvest Salad wasn’t anything you couldn’t put together yourself from Trader Joe’s. Fried calamari tastes about the same quality as from a dive bar. Sea bass was good, branzino seemed dry. Chocolate tart wasn’t that good and vanilla cheesecake was just okay. For $85 I would have expected better. Great view of Manhattan, though, nice backyard, and decorations outside and in, so you are really paying for the atmosphere. Some lights were out like the wreath on the roof and one of the light posts in back, which seemed careless. Service was okay except staff hit the chair twice pretty hard, almost knocking us over, twice, one waiter and one busboy. If they are going to place the tables like that, don’t run into your customers.

Yelp
Came here as a group to celebrate my friend's birthday. Upon entrance you have to grab a ticket from before entering to park. The restaurant is on the right hand side of the parking lot. There was an option for valet parking for I was able to self park easily. They gave her a menu that said happy birthday once they realized it was her birthday. We all ordered the passion fruit margarita - that was their special for the night. It was good I just wished they didn't salt the rim, I would have preferred if they asked or just put sugar. We ordered the meatball and shrimp appetizers to share and also the complimentary in house bread was delicious. It had raisins and nuts. For entree I got the porkchop and it was ok. It was missing some more season and flavor. And I would have preferred different sides. The birthday girl got the peach cobbler dessert and she liked it. They sang happy birthday and it came with a candle. I ordered the chocolate cake and it was ok. Wish they served it with a sweeter fruit. Service was great and the staff was also very nice. Side note that gratuity is included in the final price and they also provide you with a validation sticker to exit the parking lot. Don't forget to ask for one if not given.

Yelp
Maddy Rose is the recently added name from the restaurant within the larger Liberty House catering venue. LH used to encompass daily meal services and special events, but has since separated the two businesses. During the warmer months, Maddy Rose offers an outdoor patio with fire pits, a small bar/lounge area, several individual cabanas, live music, and more. While not quite as breathtaking, the indoor space is still a delight during cooler months. On my recent Saturday evening visit, we were seated by the large windows with a distant view of the Manhattan skyline, and there was a jazzy duo playing relaxing music in the background. The brightly lit space had white walls and was decorated with nautical colors, keeping the atmosphere vibrant. I started my experience with one of their custom cocktails; the Pink Chameleon included mezcal, ginger, blood orange liqueur, and dry vermouth. It was covered by a thick layer of blood orange foam. The drink had way too much mezcal, and its smokiness heavily overpowered everything else. I did not taste even a hint of ginger and just a mere essence of blood orange. I like mezcal, but it was just too much. I was thrilled when the restaurant provided a bread basket, as those have become rare nowadays. However, its contents were a bunch of random bread slices (olive, grain, sourdough, cranberry walnut), which were all dry and stale. My entrée, on the other hand, was excellent! The Roasted Branzino filet was very generous in portion and extremely flavorful. It was served over fingerling potatoes, crispy kale, and roasted tomatoes, while a light lemon sauce had been poured over it all. I adored everything about that dish. I also ordered a side of Tuscan Carrots, which were topped with a scoop of dill cream and chunks of sunflower seed granola. It was another wining plate. Lastly, my companion was similarly happy with his Filet Mignon (around 8-10 oz., but not noted on the menu, so we were guessing on the size) and Pommes Frites. However, he did need to return his fries initially, as they were sprinkled with grated Parmesan cheese, which he could not eat and was not called out on the menu. The staff was very nice about it and brought a replacement in mere moments. Lastly, we shared the specialty dessert of the evening, which was a layered chocolate mouse cake topped with a thin covering of strawberry mousse. It was one of the lightest cream-heavy desserts I had ever had. It was cool and refreshing without being overly sweet. We will definitely be returning to Maddy Rose, and I particularly cannot wait to visit in the summer months.

Yelp
Maddy Rose is a beautiful setting a nice cocktail and lunch menu. The service was quick and efficient. Brandon our host was very professional, well spoken and so courteous! He fixed me a great old fashioned cocktail and our burgers, salads and pork roll sammy were delicious! Well done Brandon

Yelp
We chose Maddy Rose yesterday because we were in the park and very convenient. Beautiful property and the view is amazng. Our server was very attentive, responsive to our questions and ensuring we were satisfied. But, we had a few issues. The bathrooms were horrible, not maintained, dirty and water on the floor. Our table were sticky. We ordered a filet and it arrived well done vs med rare, but the manager removed from the check. Good call, because why should we pay 55 bucks for a well done meal. Runner brought wrong meals to our table, twice. We might return for drinks and appetizers outside to enjoy the view, but probably not for dinner.
