The 23 Best Halal Restaurants In London

"This modern family-run Korean spot in Hackney has a warmth to it that goes far beyond its finger-licking king prawns in gochujang sauce. Siblings run the show, dad’s in the kitchen, and diners salivate over tender soy-braised short ribs that will collapse from the rumble of an Overground train." - rianne shlebak

The 18 Best Restaurants In Hackney

"You’ll find Miga on a corner of Mare Street, but the modern Korean restaurant feels different to the nearby bedlam of Broadway Market. The calming family-run spot has a warmth that goes far beyond its finger-licking king prawns in gochujang sauce. Siblings run the show, dad’s in the kitchen, and diners salivate over tender soy-braised short ribs that collapse from the rumble of an Overground train." - jake missing, sinead cranna, daisy meager

The 25 Best Restaurants In London

"Meet the Migas. They’re the family behind this modern Korean restaurant in Hackney, with dad in the open kitchen and his kids, the cool, unabashedly kind siblings, who are responsible for the warm welcome and service. It’s a calming, white-washed blank canvas of a room we want to spend the majority of our time in, even if a fleeting thought of the gochujang sauce didn’t already make us blush. The gelatine-adjacent glass noodles carry the exquisite smoky flavours of the oyster mushrooms straight to your sinuses, and we have no words for the beef tartare—only dazed mumblings of “love you pear slivers”. Whether you come for lunch or dinner, the crowd is treated as one big extended, blended family." - jake missing, rianne shlebak, sinead cranna, heidi lauth beasley

Where To Go When You Need A ‘Great Little Place’

"You’ll find this modern Korean restaurant on a corner of Mare Street. Miga feels different to that part of Hackney, though. The family-run spot has a warmth to it that goes far beyond its caramelised king prawns in gochujang sauce. Siblings run the show, dad’s in the kitchen, and tender soy-braised short ribs collapse from the rumble of an Overground train. It’s great, it’s little, and it’s sure to make anyone you bring take any future recommendations from you like it’s scripture." - heidi lauth beasley, rianne shlebak, sinead cranna

The Hit List: New London Restaurants To Try Right Now

"You’ll instantly feel like part of the family who runs this minimalist Korean restaurant in Hackney. The siblings at Miga greet everyone warmly—whether it’s your first time or you’re a local returning with friends “to spread the word”—while their dad cooks in the open kitchen. Beef tartare with sesame oil and slivers of crunchy Korean pear is a revelation, sweet, tender short rib falls off the bone at a nudge, and meaty prawns come on a gochujang sauce we want to mainline. Our adoption papers are in the post." - jake missing, rianne shlebak, daisy meager, sinead cranna, heidi lauth beasley

Google
It is really a hidden gem, less than mile away from the strip but way better authentic food and way better prices. The meat is tender and correctly cooked. The blue cheese , mushrooms Emapanada was amazing. Pablo the owner was really nice and friendly and he suggested to me the best items . My favorite is always family business and this a happy family. Love everything here, definitely recommend 👌 ❤️

Google
Made in Argentina is absolutely fantastic! Their empanadas are hands down the best I’ve ever had – crispy, flavorful, and made to perfection. The service was just as impressive: friendly, welcoming, and attentive from start to finish. Thanks, Ezequiel. It’s the kind of place that makes you feel at home while serving authentic Argentinian flavors. Highly recommend to anyone looking for great food and even better hospitality!

Hector De la Rosa

Google
What a hidden gem in Las Vegas! The service here was outstanding — the waiters were friendly, attentive, and gave spot-on recommendations that made the whole experience even better. The food was absolutely delicious and full of authentic flavor. I also tried the Argentinian beer and the sangria, and both were excellent. This place exceeded my expectations, and I’ll definitely be coming back. Highly recommend it to anyone looking for great Argentinian food in Vegas!

Aaron Turley

Google
Staff was very fun and welcoming! They gave great suggestions. We went with the “Flight”! A sampling of all their best dishes. It was perfect! From the empanada to the flan! Wouldn’t recommend a better place!

Drew Hendrickx

Google
Absolutely the best empanadas I have had in Vegas. If you like empanadas this is the place to go. I also got their Milanesas and Dolce de leche which were both just as delicious. Service was excellent and staff provided amazing recommendations. I will be going back.

Sol Accinelli

Google
A perfectly Argentinian experience, I was transported to Buenos Aires not only by the great food, music, but also the great service. I can’t wait to come back. I highly recommend the beef empanada, the beef Milanesa sandwich and the flan. Paired with a Quilmes, it’s the perfect lunch!

Mike McCloud

Google
I am so glad I just happened to find this place. The empanadas are great and so fluffy. I was told I needed to try the Skirt Steak and it was tasty! Prices Very reasonable. I would strongly suggest you want to get off the strip and have a great meal at a great price. Give Made In Argentina a try

Geo Ewasiuk

Google
Fantastic food for a great price! We tried the beef, chicken, and mushroom empanadas, along with the skirt steak, vacio, and hummus — every dish was absolutely delicious. I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in Vegas

Yelp
My wife and I had an amazing lunch. We experienced a real VIP treatment by ordering the $55 menu that comfortably fed us. It included one empanada and another appetizer, a Milanesa (which was to die for) with melted cheese, tomato and ham on top, a skirt steak, French fries and a flan for dessert. They also serve authentic Italian espressos. We enjoyed everything so much that we ordered empanadas to go for dinner. A special mention to our server very friendly and welcoming. We'll dine here soon again.

Andrea T.

Yelp
The food and service are top tier!! They recommended and it did not disappoint. But the ice cream....leave room it is worth every spoon!

Roger T.

Yelp
The most friendly & welcoming people....coming here feels like your favorite local bistro, with an Argentinian flavor & soccer theme. I've had most everything on the menu but my favorite is the Chicken Portuguese, always with a side of frites, some of the best fries to be had anywhere in LV.

Cristina R.

Yelp
We ordered empanadas. The empanadas were perfectly crispy and full of flavor, the chimichurri was fresh and tangy. Service was friendly and attentive without being rushed, and the prices were very reasonable for the quality. Whether you're Argentinian or just love good food, you'll leave happy and full.
google avatar

Yelp
Food was absolutely incredible and tasted very authentic! The empanadas were still hot and fresh when bitting into them, the provoleta was absolutely delicious and the choripan had the best taste ever! The only thing I would change are the French fries as they were very hard and crunched like a chip when eating them. The wait staff was incredible and very friendly. They checked in on us many times as well! The place was nicely decorated and full of Argentine memorabilia! I will definitely be coming back and absolutely recommend visiting the restaurant

Yelp
Came here for date night a few months ago on a Friday night. We arrived early for dinner around 4pm. The restaurant was pretty filled from an event going on at the Allegiant Stadium but we were seated right away. The interior is well decorated with everything Argentinian fútbol. We ordered one empanada de jamón y queso to start and the parrillada for our main. The empanada was probably my favorite part of this meal. The parrillada however lacked a bit in quality. The main reason I decided to give this place a try was due to their chinchulines. My usual Argentine restaurant doesn't serve this and I've been craving it for a while. Despite the fact, I was disappointed as the meat cuts lacked umami and appeared of poor quality, some seemed reheated. Anyway, overall great place to dine for a quick lunch I assume. But I do not recommend if you're expecting a full on Argentine bbq meal.

Yelp
mmm...! So excited to review this place!! My family and I were on vacation in Las Vegas, and after realizing that food on the Strip is often overpriced and mediocre, we decided to venture off the Strip -- and luckily, we found this gem! We ordered the Argentina Flight, which gives you a little taste of several menu highlights. The quality of the food was excellent and fresh, and the portion was perfect for the three of us to share. If you're indecisive or just want to try a variety, the Argentina Flight is the way to go! The Flan Mixto was unlike anything I've had before -- so unique and absolutely a must-try. You really can't leave without ordering it. The service was also outstanding. The staff was patient, attentive, and genuinely caring. Being taken care of by fellow Latinos felt just like being taken care of by family. Highly recommend this spot if you want an authentic, flavorful, and welcoming dining experience in Vegas.

Yelp
Made In Argentina is a casual but with wait Service restaurant located not too far from the Las Vegas Strip. This restaurant might be the most unique for its varied offerings. They offer breakfast, empanadas, Mediterranean Foods, Pizzas, Pastas, Sandwiches, Steaks, Breaded entrees called Milanesas, house made desserts and MORE. The inside is decorated with lots of Argentinian Sports Memorabilia and the news was laying on Big Screen TVs. You seat yourself and someone who possibly is the owner's wife waits on you. You must get at least one empanada. They are like no others and come with great sauces. We got the habanero and cheese. It was very large, very good, a bit too spicy but still very good. I got the chicken kabob plate. I think it might have been missing the roasted vegetables? but they gave me a lot of rice, very fresh cucumber/tomato salad, hummus, and more pita breads that anyone can eat. The stand out here was the chicken because the chicken had a great char flavor and was moist and delicious. Hummus was reasonably good, and the pita was very average. Also I should note that I don''t recommend this plate for men because they give a very small amount of chicken here that is maybe a woman's lunch size portion. The only dish that I don't recommend was the Lomo Saltado (steak with onions and fries platter) because the steak was very tough and hard to eat. Somehow my husband ate it anyway. Since they make their own desserts here we also shared their house made Ice Cream Dulce De Leche. The flavor was good but they bring it out rock hard and you have to wait for it to soften. They only had the one woman running around serving everyone and also doing all the take out orders by herself so we felt we had to wait longer than we should have to wait for various things at lunch time. Mainly because of the steak dish and pita breads this equals out to almost 3 stars for us but I feel there was more good than bad so I am generously rounding up to 4 stars. 3.5 Stars

Yelp
Really authentic and delicious place. Simple restaurant with quality food. Steak was tender and perfectly made, flan was tastier than the ones in Buenos Aires. Thank you for hospitality

Yelp
I found Made in Argentina on Yelp and decided to give it a try since it wasn't too far from where we were staying on the strip (Luxor). My friend and I came for an early lunch Friday afternoon around 11 am. It was pretty empty when we arrived, with only one other table occupied. The menu has something for everyone with the large selection, from empanadas to grilled meats to sandwiches to pizzas and even some Mediterranean. There are definitely lots of options for meat lovers, but there are some vegetarian options as well. Neither of us were super hungry, so we shared a couple of items. We got two empanadas - veggie and beef - for $3.85 each and the chicken milanesa for $18. I haven't had a lot of empanadas, but I liked both of the ones here. The beef was my favorite of the two. I generally don't like olives, but I didn't mind the chopped up olives in the beef empanada here. The chicken milanesa was good as well, though I did find it a bit bland. I assume you're supposed to eat with other condiments for flavor but I just had it straight up.

Yelp
The food is very good. The steak is reasonably priced and the venue is pretty simple. No complaints on the service. We ordered the steak sampler which came with appetizers and dessert.
google avatar

Yelp
All the staff are friendly and inviting. The steak is juicy, flavorful, and cooked amazingly! The habanero is really spicy but so delicious. Come if you like Messi

Yelp
Really nice cozy restaurant on corner of Ali Baba Lane and Valley View. Outdoor dining is really cute. Great menu and so many choices with decent prices. I ordered 4 different empanadas($4 each). My favorite was the Ham/Cheese and Chicken Habanero. I enjoyed the homemade taste, very delicious. The garlic/parsley fries, scrumptious. I certainly couldn't finish it all. Save for lunch next day. Very friendly customer service. Wait time for to-go order, less than 10mins. Love Argentinian food? This is the place! Only 5 min from Strip area. Plenty of parking in private lot. I'll be back soon. Thank you

Yelp
Absolutely the Best Empanadas in Vegas! If you're looking for authentic Argentinian flavor, Made in Argentina is the real deal. Their empanadas are top of the line -- crispy, golden pastry with perfectly seasoned fillings that taste just like Buenos Aires. Each bite feels homemade, and you can tell they use quality ingredients. Easily the best Argentinian empanadas in Vegas. A must-try for anyone who loves real Latin flavor!
google avatar

Andrew C.

Yelp
We came before a concert to grab a quick bite to eat. It was good but not great. Not a lot of flavor going on as the bread was just not doing it for that Sando but the place was packed. The service was great though! Sadly, I wouldn't come back.
google avatar

Yelp
My boss(wife) had an empanada craving. So we've been chasing empanadas everywhere. This place is on point for empanadas. We also had the skirt steak. I just wish we had room to try the Parrallada, now that is a plate of meat. We'll be back here soon.

Yelp
Made In Argentina makes incredible empanadas! You'll find them on Valley View and Reno, by Ali Baba. There's good parking available. Inside is a casual atmosphere with good seating and great music. Menu offers a nice selection of appetizers, milanesas (breaded meat such as chicken cutlet, beef, and veggie), hamburgers, from the grill, pastas with choice of sauce, pizza, salad, sandwiches, as well as Mediterranean options like chicken kabob, shawarma, schnitzel, and falafel. They're well known for making savory empanadas ($4.15 each) offering various choices for beef, chicken, pepperoni, ham & cheese, spinach, veggie, corn, and spicy habanero. I chose Blue Cheese & Mushroom, Fatay, and Onions, and all three flavors are delicious! Traditionally in Argentina, sauce is not served with empanadas, you actually enjoy them as is. When you place an order here, it does come with sauce: chimichurri, spicy chimichurri, and creamy habanero. Blue Cheese & Mushroom is good and tasty! It has gooey melted cheese and pairs nicely with spicy chimichurri. I love Fatay, savory and hearty, comes with a lemon wedge to brighten the flavor, and complements well with creamy habanero. Onions is a bigger empanada and hollow inside from the melted cheese, it has a very light filling and is good with regular chimichurri. Sangria (glass, $13) is a great pairing for all three empanadas, it has a lovely sweetness, comes with fresh fruits included in the drink with diced red apple, slice orange, and garnished with fresh strawberry, very delightful and super refreshing! For dessert, they have flan, alfajor de maicena (cookie sandwich with dulce de leche), mil hojas, helado (ice cream), and medialunas (croissant). I had Panqueques with ice cream ($10) it's a rolled pancake filled with dulce de leche cream, has powder sugar, side of whipped cream, pancake is thin and very light, and is not too sweet. Also had a delicious Cappuccino ($4.75) in a nice glass that pairs wonderfully with the sweet vanilla ice cream, so yummy! Service from owner Pablo, Laura, and Mary is very kind, welcoming, attentive, friendly, accommodating, and helpful!

Yelp
Food was yummy and service was great!! Good find in the neighborhood :) will come back

Yelp
We went to this place twice in two days because the first day was so amazing. The ambiance is lighted hearted and fun. Lots of Messi and Argentinian soccer stuff everywhere. The family restaurant is filled with the nicest people on earth. We ordered the fish both days. The flavor was amazing! The grilled vegetables were plentiful and so tasty! We had the Argentinian flight.....amazing! So many great flavors. We had several empanadas, blue cheese, Beef, but the Fatay was my favorite. Unique flavor in that one. The flan and homemade ice cream were out of this world. I will return to this place every time I go to Vegas! You need to go!
google avatar

Jaynar S.

Yelp
Wow! The empanadas are amazing! The Ham & Cheese, Pepperoni, Beef, and Chicken were all amazing! My favorite empanada was the Blue Cheese & Mushroom; so good! My son enjoyed his Hamburguesa Del Campeon, and I loved the Fugazetta Milanesa. Wow! We also had Americanos which were made perfectly. Super friendly service and authentic vibes inside. Lots of Argentina memorabilia and latin music playing. Many of the guests seemed like regulars and also spoke the language. For outside dining, there's an area outside. I highly recommend and we shall return!

Valentin O.

Yelp
We went to made in argentina and the food was great, the service was excellent as well!

Carrie D.

Yelp
Stumbled on this restaurant and WHAT a find! Our waiter was brilliant and had the best suggestions. We had the Taste of Argentina! The empanadas were amazing! Don't miss the blue cheese and mushroom one. The melted cheese dish was to die for! Will absolutely have the steak when we return! (And a glass of Sangria!) The true highlight is the dulce de leche ice cream! Mind blown! Will absolutely be back!

Yelp
Excelente servicio , muy buena comida Lo recomiendo 100%,,,,,,,,,,de lo mejor para comer en las Vegas
google avatar

Yelp
We had the Parrillada and everything was delicious (esp. the blood sausage). Even the dessert, the panqueques was awesome. And the service was excellent. Everyone is friendly. I will highly recommend this place.

Yelp
This place is branded with AUTHENTIC!! We were driving back home from a long day at work and we found a gem! It's a bit hidden so look for the beautiful bright red umbrellas with the cute seating area outside. This place is pretty chill. We ordered 4 empanadas. 2 chicken and 2 beef. Very decent in size and filling. Freshly made to order. We also had flan very thick and mouth watering man oh man this was my favorite part. We ended up leaving with 2 more ordered beef empanadas because they are just delicious. Of course 2 drinks all for the price of 50 bucks! Can't be that! Check them out!

Yelp
Bonjour‍ It is I, Remy--your friendly neighborhood chef--reporting live from the most unexpected trip I've ever taken... and I didn't even need a passport! The moment I scurried into Made in Argentina Cocina, poof!--I was whisked away to the heart of Buenos Aires. The aroma alone made my whiskers tingle. Then came... the empanadas. Crisp, golden pastry hugging a perfectly seasoned filling--each bite was like a warm tango between my taste buds and pure joy. I may be a rat, but let me tell you... I almost proposed to that empanada. The flavors? Authentic. The atmosphere? Transportive. The service? Spectacular!!! Truly, five stars in my little cookbook. I will 100% be back--after all, a rat's gotta eat, and Argentina is only a quick scamper away thanks to this gem. -- Remy the Rat

Quinn Q.

Yelp
I would only come again to support a Latin business but the downside is that the food prices are incredibly high. We paid well over $50 for a sandwich and the fried zucchini plate. I won't comment on the food because I want to remain respectful. The inside of the restaurant is very clean and the service we received was fantastic. I do wish we would have tried the empanadas.
google avatar

Tu T.

Yelp
Really good Argentinian food. Definitely worth going if you're a big carnivore. I went with a group of 5 guys and we ordered the a pretty big spread. Everything came out fresh and the service was excellent. The paradilla was great but I wish there were special serving utensils for it. Empanadas were also excellent. The decor itself is pretty cool - lots of Messi jerseys and other Argentinian memorabilia.
google avatar

Jim B.

Yelp
Hard not to gush: Great food, slightly off the commercial LV Strip, (It's walkable from Excalibur area). Reasonably priced. Super friendly service. Small place, inconspicuous in a small strip mall. If you want to experience some great food, with personal attentive service (the owner or his sister will likely be your host), away from the high priced and over produced restaurants on the Strip, this will be a great option. Blue Cheese Mushroom empanadas were so good we ordered more right away. Skirt Steak- amazing. Milanese Napolitana: very tasty. Unique selection of beer/wine from Argentina. A real gem!
google avatar

Loretta W.

Yelp
We were walking by and the wonderful smells coming from this restaurant drew us in! Plenty of free parking around, small place with maybe a dozen tables. Friendly staff, beer, sangria, and wine to accompany the delicious food. And the chairs have a little cushion! I know, I know, but that matters to me! (And probably to others with back/sciatica/tailbone injuries). We ordered a few empanadas, a big salad, and some roasted beets. So many great favorites on the menu, but at 100° out and walking to the Allegiant, we stuck with cold salad and a few empanadas. Yummmmmm!
google avatar

Heather S.

Yelp
Delicious empanadas! We tried the fatay, blue cheese, and habanero. The lomo saltado was super flavorful. Delicious toasted beets. The staff was attentive and friendly. Chill relaxed vibe. I bet this place is fun for watching soccer games.
google avatar

David B.

Yelp
Food and service were terrific! I'll definitely be back when im back in the Vegas area.
google avatar

Yelp
Great food! Amazing staff! Walked in and was welcomed and made to feel welcomed. Clear communication on the menu and suggestions for new customers. Recommend 100%

Yelp
An oasis from the horrible overpriced crap restaurants at the Luxor, and well worth the 15 minute walk. Delightful, tasty, authentic Argentine cuisine - I had the skirt steak with the house salad. which I highly recommend. Service is quick and attentive. It's a very simple restaurant with inside and outside tables and seemingly a focus on soccer.
google avatar

Daniel R.

Yelp
Delicious food and desert, eating in this place it made me feel that I was in South America again. Very good service an authentic neighborhood restaurant from Buenos Aires. You need to try the miloja for desert.
google avatar

JS B.

Yelp
This has been my go to for take out. Eating in for the first time tonight. Everything I have tried is excellent. So happy they are now open into the evening. Highly recommended.

Norma R.

Yelp
Best empanadas in Vegas. Great service. I tried the Cheese, Chicken and Beef. All excelent.
google avatar

Katherine P.

Yelp
Went there for a quick bite to eat and just ordered some empanadas. Ordered the ham and cheese, onion and the fatay. Both the onion and ham and cheese empanadas were delicious, lots of filling, outside was flaked and not dry. Served piping hot. The fatay was ok it's seasoned beef with lemon. Too lemony for my liking but as described so not complaining. Staff was friendly. Restaurant is located in an industrial area away from the strip. Lots of seating.
google avatar

Vania M.

Yelp
What a wonderful find! This was the perfect spot to stop for a quick bite before the soccer game at Allegiant Stadium. It's within walking distance to the stadium but beware, if you leave your car here to walk to the stadium you will be towed. The food is delicious, we tried the beef, chicken and habanero (with cheese) empanadas, they serve them to you with three different dipping sauces. In addition to the food being great, the ambiance is so warm, there were other hispanic parties eating there and it just truly feels like being in a restaurant in South America. Servers are super friendly and eager to go over the menu. Can't wait to be back!

Stephanie A.

Yelp
Las mejores empanadas de todo el condado. Quieres disfrutar de una quilmes bien fría? Esta es tu mejor opción. Atendidos por su propio dueño! Full recomendado

Yelp
Food, service and ambiance were over the top!! La Parrillada was as expected! Good flavor and well cooked! The morcilla is my best, I just love it!! Service was incredible! Thank you Silvia, Laura and Ezequiel you guys were extremely amazing!!! Between the food and this amazing people it was created and unforgivable experience that I 100% recommend! Please make sure you don't miss it!!! Me and my family will definitely come back!!!

Yelp
I finally had an opportunity to dine in. Several times prior, I just picked up my favorite Fugazetta pizza to go. This is a hidden gem. Soccer lovers paradise, too. Friendly service, warm food and a large menu. Delicious sangria & to top off my to-go order after eating lunch-a big Alfajore

Regina B.

Yelp
Had a late lunch here with my friend who is from Argentina. Food was great, service was awesome, very friendly and attentive. Will definitely return, there are many things on the menu I want to try. We had Lomo Saltado, one with beef and one with chicken, both were great! We also had a spinach empanada and a veggie empanada for appetizer, both were awesome!

Lauren L.

Yelp
My husband and I just ate here. The service was friendly and fast, the food was hot and fresh. We both got the Lomo Saltado with beef. They also gave us some bread. Everything was delicious. We highly recommend this place!

Marisa A.

Yelp
Everything was absolutely delicious! The flavors were authentic and fresh, and the service was warm and attentive. A wonderful Argentinian restaurant -- I'll definitely be coming back!

Nicola Danielle H.

Yelp
Do not leave Vegas without eating here!! We ordered several empanadas and all the food you see in the pictures. My boyfriend is Argentinian and I have visited before and we both were 100% in love with every dish and tasted exactly as it's made in an Argentinian home or restaurant! Flavor 10/10, meat cuts 10/10, service from our waiter and waitress 10/10 in English and Spanish. I even ordered their homemade chimichurri to take back with me to Canada it was that good. Absolutely adorable inside as well, feels like you're transported to a little neighborhood restaurant in Argentina.
google avatar

Hubert L.

Yelp
I heard good things about this place and we were excited to try some authentic empanadas. When we came in, there was pretty much noone other than us. The inside of the store is very much like a mom and pop shop. Good vibes, the owner recommended us try 3 of their best types of empanadas. You could tell they were football fans, lots of Argentina football jerseys on the walls. Felt like a small hole in the wall deli. The empanadas really did not disappoint. These were very flaky and soft, with the insides tasting amazing. way better than any other empanadas I've had. Usually, they're more thick and crusty, and hard to eat. There are a lot of different flavors of empanadas. My gf likes corn, so we got corn, beef, and habanero. Honestly, I'm sure any of their flavors are bomb. Will for sure be coming back again to try their other flavors!
