Blackbird Doughnuts Is Helping Feed People During Austin’s Winter Storm Crisis | Eater Boston

"An Austin-based cookware company co-founded by Jake Kalick and Chip Malt launched a relief effort during the storm, leveraging its ties to the local food world to sponsor meals; the founders partnered with independent restaurants that still had power, clean water, and gas so those partners could offer free meals to anyone in need, and the effort was described as acting as 'boots on the ground' to address the immediate food access crisis." - Terrence Doyle

I get and will get all my cookware from this company from now on. I have their stainless steel, but i am really impressed with thier newer ceramic coated pans. Same nonstick coating feel as teflon without the nasty chemicals. I also own one of their carbon steel woks which is an absoulte beast even though I'm still working on building up the seasoning. I had an issue where one of the ceramic pans came chipped. I contacted them and they sent out a replacement immediately. Can't have a successful business without great customer service. I'll be continuing to buy more pans as my others wear out.

My husband and I love all Made In products and have been slowly replacing our 20 years old dinnerware and cookware. On a recent purchase of red rimmed dinner plates (gorgeous!) I found a chip on the edge of 1 plate. An email and a photo later, today I received a replacement perfect red-rimmed plate to complete the set. Excellent quality product + excellent customer service = lifelong loyal customers. Thank you, Made In! PS we live by those entree bowls!

Great pans and great customer service! We received several Made In pans from our wedding registry and they do not disappoint. The pans heat evenly and I have not had any sticking issues that I have experienced with other stainless steel cookware. Great skillets for all your needs. We also got a 2qt sauce pan. Again, high quality materials and construction, plus the wide lip helps avoid spills when pouring from the pot, such a great feature. There was a small hiccup because it was sent to us without a lid. Not to worry! I went to the website, opened a chat (with a real human!), and my issue was solved in just a few minutes. Thank you, Joy! The experience made me feel even better about Made In and made me glad we chose them instead of other cookware brands that we considered.

My seasoned carbon steel wok is supposed to be made in Sweden, yet it take at least 3 weeks for me to receive it in the Netherlands. I get a reply like it has to go through the US first. It's been 8 days and my order has yet to be processed. This is weird. For such a premium product and made in such a close location, why the long delivery time. Other than that, great customer service. They have replied to me right away, though my first email where I asked for a discount, they never answered. So far, I'm 50/50 with the company. Lets see where it goes from here. I will update

Companies who stand behind their product and quality are hard to find in Today’s Marketplace and when there is an issue to step up and make it right. Made In Cookware goes above and beyond to take care of their clients. I sent an email with a Warranty issue at 9:54 am this morning and through a few brief emails providing the info needed with Katrina, the issue was resolved by 1:43pm. This is the way to stand behind your product and to retain Customers who invest in your product as well be recognized as Industry leaders. Well Done Made In Cookware! Thank you Katrina, you have won a client for LIFE.

WE LOVE OUR CARBON STEEL COOKWARE!! This past Christmas my husband surprised me with the beautiful Carbon Steel Paella Pan, Unseasoned! I've owned 3 paella pans in the past. Not one of them has ever cooked this evenly, maintained the heat this well, or been such an easy clean up. Watch YouTube videos (there are several) to learn the proper way to season Made In Carbon Steel. When they are seasoned properly, they are like glass inside and completely non-stick. Next, he surprised me with the 12.5" Carbon Steel skillet, Unseasoned. I use it nearly everyday. It is responsive the way copper cookware is, cooks evenly like my great-grandmother's cast-iron but easier to pick up since it's not so heavy, and the best part; the handle stays cool when I'm using it on the stove top. It transfers easily to the oven from the stove-top which I do often when cooking fish. Again, it does not stick and cleans up easily. Next, he again surprised me; and the Carbon Steel Griddle, Unseasoned, showed up at our front door! It came with a beautiful Press and a leather sleeve for the handle. We immediately bought all of the ingredients to make Smash Burgers! We preheated the griddle on our outdoor grill, it cooked evenly and perfectly! The next morning, we used it on our gas stove and made pancakes, again, perfection! Then, he's nuts, and surprised me with the 10" Carbon Steel skillet (he's pretty awesome :-). This time it was Seasoned. I love the size! It's perfect for bacon & eggs for just the two of us. I kind of wish it was Unseasoned as well though. There is nothing wrong with the seasoning, I just prefer the process of seasoning on my own. Memorial Day, Made In had an amazing holiday sale. I purchased a set of 3 Carbon Steel, Unseasoned skillets for my son's 40th birthday! He's watching all of the videos about proper seasoning and is super excited for their arrival!! He's an amazing self-taught cook and has always wanted to add Carbon Steel Cookware to his collection. I'm excited to see what he creates!! Next on my list of "I wish to own" are the filet knives. We live on North Padre Island and fishing is part of our lives. A good filet knife is a necessity. Dropping hints daily :-) and trying to convince my husband that's the quickest way to receiving the "Husband of the Universe Award"! If you want to see all of the goodness we are cranking out and the versatility of Made In Cookware, take a peek at our IG page @the_stolen_spoon PS I haven't received anything from Made In (no free stuff and nothing solicited) we just love their quality and craftsmanship! It's not overpriced and it does everything they claim, and that's awesome!!!

Will recommend! Quality made cookware with great customer support. I have absolutely nothing negative to say about the stainless steel product line, I have a Sautè pan which heats quickly and evenly. And I want to shout out MJ from customer support, truly top tier experience.

Made In cookware is by far the most expensive pans I have ever purchased. I cook a lot and after much research on nonstick pans decided their Ceramic Clad was the best choice. Of course customer service is VERY important and Made In has not disappointed! Anne was prompt in taking care of my issue with one skillet! Very pleased with Made In customer service! And- I love the pans!
