The Best Deals From Made In’s 25% Off Memorial Day Sale | Eater

"Founded in 2017 in Austin and born from a fourth-generation Boston kitchen-supply family, this cookware brand produces nontoxic, chef-grade pans, knives and other well-designed essentials that are used by James Beard Award–winning chefs and found in over 2,500 restaurants nationwide. Its lineup includes standout pieces like Italian-made sauciers, carbon steel griddles and a 118-piece kitchenware set, and the company emphasizes that chefs authentically purchase and use the products rather than participating in paid endorsements. Currently running a Memorial Day sale through May 26 with deals of up to 25% off, it’s positioned as a craftsmanship-focused alternative to cheaply made viral trend items and even earns praise from discerning home cooks—making items like Japanese knives appealing as durable gifts." - Francky Knapp

Red Ash in Downtown Austin Reopens After Fire | Eater Austin

"Chef Deepa Shridhar is launching a series called Rasam & Cheese that will combine a tangy South Indian tamarind broth (rasam) with curated Cypress Grove goat cheeses; the five-course menu includes complimentary pairings with RedThumb Wine, Rambler Sparkling Water, and local beers, and vegetarian options will be available on request. Shr idhar—Texas-born South Asian immigrant who has cooked at Dai Due and Lenoir and ran the now-defunct Puli-Ra trailer—is hosting the series with Alex Palomo (formerly wholesale director at Antonelli’s Cheese Shop); Rasam & Cheese launches Saturday, May 18, from 4:30 to 7 p.m. at the Made in Studio, and tickets are available online." - Courtney E. I get and will get all my cookware from this company from now on. I have their stainless steel, but i am really impressed with thier newer ceramic coated pans. Same nonstick coating feel as teflon without the nasty chemicals. I also own one of their carbon steel woks which is an absoulte beast even though I'm still working on building up the seasoning. I had an issue where one of the ceramic pans came chipped. I contacted them and they sent out a replacement immediately. Can't have a successful business without great customer service. I'll be continuing to buy more pans as my others wear out.

Great pans and great customer service! We received several Made In pans from our wedding registry and they do not disappoint. The pans heat evenly and I have not had any sticking issues that I have experienced with other stainless steel cookware. Great skillets for all your needs. We also got a 2qt sauce pan. Again, high quality materials and construction, plus the wide lip helps avoid spills when pouring from the pot, such a great feature. There was a small hiccup because it was sent to us without a lid. Not to worry! I went to the website, opened a chat (with a real human!), and my issue was solved in just a few minutes. Thank you, Joy! The experience made me feel even better about Made In and made me glad we chose them instead of other cookware brands that we considered.

My husband and I love all Made In products and have been slowly replacing our 20 years old dinnerware and cookware. On a recent purchase of red rimmed dinner plates (gorgeous!) I found a chip on the edge of 1 plate. An email and a photo later, today I received a replacement perfect red-rimmed plate to complete the set. Excellent quality product + excellent customer service = lifelong loyal customers. Thank you, Made In! PS we live by those entree bowls!

Will recommend! Quality made cookware with great customer support. I have absolutely nothing negative to say about the stainless steel product line, I have a Sautè pan which heats quickly and evenly. And I want to shout out MJ from customer support, truly top tier experience.

Made In cookware is by far the most expensive pans I have ever purchased. I cook a lot and after much research on nonstick pans decided their Ceramic Clad was the best choice. Of course customer service is VERY important and Made In has not disappointed! Anne was prompt in taking care of my issue with one skillet! Very pleased with Made In customer service! And- I love the pans!

Very disappointing. I live in Europe and was very excited to receive the set I bought. Unfortunately, it’s been stuck in customs for weeks because you didn’t have the right paperwork. In order to ship to Europe you have to have documentation showing the materials used for the pans didn’t originate in Europe didn’t originate in Russia. Despite repeated calls to your office and working on your behalf to get this shipment released I was unable to get one signature on a piece of paper. You just don’t care. The customer service agents were nice but no one was handling their repeated requests. I don’t understand why you ship international if you are not prepared to have the proper documentation in place. Unless you do use materials from Russia and can’t sign that you don’t, then that’s another issue all together…. Can someone please make this happen??? A customer shouldn’t have to handle your customs issues for you.

I recently purchased 2 of the Cermiclad frying pans. I was pleased with how both were nonstick, cleaned up easily and distrusted the heat well. You can tell from the first time you use them they are well constructed. I did have a problem with a cosmetic issue with my smaller fry pan & customer service resolved the problem quickly! I will definitely be replacing all my cookware with Made In. I recently started replacing my cookware to avoid forever chemicals & these by far are the best ones I have come across. Thank you Made In!!

I don't know if I've ever left a review for a product/company before but I was so impressed by this companies customer service. Having clicked the general "contact us" option before I only held out small hope anyone would even get back to considering past dealing with other companies. Katrina got back to me so fast and went above and beyond to help me. It really was such a breath of fresh air and I'm incredibly grateful. highly recommend!
