Hidden gems..when you come across one, you salute it. I want to give a shout out to the server Kai. If any of the management reads this review, job well done. Customer service at it's finest.
Now that is out of the way, Madhouse Sports Bar & Grill is right on Old Nat. The venue itself is small yet cozy. The prior rewiews with the pictures doesn't do it justice.and even my bad for not taking more pictures...will do next time. There is a security check at the door and when you first walk in, there is a circular couch with baseball bats above in the middle surrounded by the screens. To the left is a reserved booth. Around the perimeter going clockwise is lounge type seating. Also when you first walk in directly to the wall straight ahead two huge projector monitors. To the right is a four quad tv screen behind the bar
The food was pretty good. Could had been better. Had the players platter where you can choose any three items (onion rings, chicken tenders, mozarella sticks, etc), for about $12. They have a variety of items like seafood, burgers, salads, steak. Very versatile
The crowd was laid back. Many establishments on Old Nat be turned up, lit, but this was more laid back..kinda like it that way esp when it comes to watching sports
Prices were more than reasonable. The liquor options was phenomenal. You must try the madhouse trash can. Probably a top 5 drink in all of Atlanta. The only knock is the limited parking. It wasnt packed to the rim ..however parking is scarce. Not sure how they would address it when there is more huge sporting events. Like Arnold Schwarzenegger In Terminator 2..... I'll be back.
