My partner and I booked a couples massage at the Madison Beach Hotel, and it was absolute perfection from start to finish. The spa staff were warm, professional, and made us feel instantly relaxed. The massage itself was heavenly — the perfect balance of soothing and rejuvenating. The setting, the service, and the attention to detail made it an unforgettable afternoon. If you’re celebrating an anniversary, birthday, or any special occasion, I can’t recommend this experience enough. It’s the perfect mix of luxury, romance, and relaxation! 💆‍♀️💆‍♂️

My husband and I recently got married at Madison Beach Hotel, and it was truly the most magical experience we could have imagined. This special place has quickly become one of our favorite destinations — not only because it’s where we became husband and wife, but because of the warmth and care of the entire team. A special shout-out to Tiffany Zwart, whose professionalism, kindness, and attention to detail made every part of our wedding weekend seamless and unforgettable. From the stunning ocean views to the incredible food and service, every moment at MBH felt perfect. We will always find our way back to Madison Beach Hotel to relive the memories of that beautiful weekend — it will forever hold a special place in our hearts. 💙

The entire dining experience was stellar. Our server, Drew, was courteous, professional and attentive to every aspect of our meal. Please see that he is recognized for his effort. The table location, exemplary cuisine and presentation, and ambience of the evening was perfect. Thank you to all involved for making our evening relaxing, comfortable and most enjoyable.

Beautiful property! |Lovely clean upscale room! |Comfortable Mattress!|If you’re looking for a quiet getaway, this place is for you! |We instantly felt at home! |Hilton Diamond was recognized by Natali at check in and that was greatly appreciated. |Pillows… Shower … not great |Sliding doors out to a lovely balcony, we just wish we could block the sunlight with something more than the window shutters! |The Wharf Restaurant … the food was delicious and the service was very good. They were also very accommodating of my need for gluten free food….. BUT this was also our biggest disappointment as the portion size was more like a snack. Steak snack for $34. We left our $100.00 lunch hungry. We wouldn’t eat at the restaurant again due to portion size. |Overall a lovely peaceful getaway!

Had a great Spa Day with a good friend at the Madison Beach Hotel! Everyone was so welcoming and friendly from the valet parking attendant to our lunch server at The Wharf on their beautiful porch. There’s an elevator that goes to all three floors from the parking lot making for easy wheelchair/walker access. Beautiful location right on the water. We’re definitely going back again for another delicious lunch at The Wharf!

As a Hilton Honors Diamond member, I enjoy staying at different properties across the Hilton portfolio. This place stood out as the only one in the area, and it looked interesting being on the beach and with balconies, so I planned this well in advance as a gift to myself following recent retirement. I intentionally chose a weekday in September (shoulder season after Labor Day) to minimize crowds but still possibly get some relatively warmer weather.||As I always do, I checked in online the day before arrival via the Hilton app and also chose my room. My transportation plan from New Jersey would be Amtrak to New Haven, Shore Line East to Madison, and then Uber from the station to the hotel.||Well the only negative from this trip was that one of those elements of transportation did not work out. I was unable to summon an Uber car from the Madison station, and after being there about 45 minutes I made the decision to walk the mile and a half or so. While there were sideways some of the way initially, there were places along busy US 1 where I had to walk in the street because there were no sidewalks nor room for them next to the pavement. I don't recommend anyone try this, so make sure you have your own vehicle or ensure that you have Uber reserved for your arrival by train. I arrived at the hotel a little tired but the distance walked was something I am used to; it was just the safety that was of concern.||Upon arrival I was greeted by friendly staff and I went to my chosen room on the third floor. The room was certainly amply sized, had the advertised balcony, and had all its amenities (climate control, WiFi, TV) working well. Bathroom had counter space for my toiletries. I did take a walk to check out the small beach, and used the balcony when it wasn't raining or windy. Dinner menu at the onsite restaurant did not impress me, so I ordered delivery thru an app. ||Before going to sleep, I did reserve Uber for the next morning, so that hopefully I would not need to repeat my dangerous walk again. Sleep came well, as the bed was comfortable.||In the morning I checked out, and was soon on my way when Uber came through for me on this occasion.||Overall, I would recommend this hotel. Staff was friendly and accommodating, the room was comfortable, and you can't beat the proximity to the beach.

Just returned from a weekend getaway at Madison Beach Hotel. Such a great visit. So relaxing and beautiful being right on the beach. The accommodations are very nice, as is the view. The staff is wonderful and accommodating, like John from valet they all go the extra mile to make your stay so nice. 2nd trip this year.

Madison Beach Hotel is what a luxury hotel should be. The staff is excellent. The food is excellent. The room was clean with lovely appointments. Having said all of that, you cannot beat the view or the surrounding town. I almost hate to write this because I do not really want it to be more popular than it already is. Just a wonderful experience in every way.

Yelp
We are staying at the hotel. Everything is great except you need your know THE WIFI CONNECTION REALLY SUCKS. INSTEAD OF ENJOYING OUR TOME ON THE BEACH WE SAT LOOKING AT THE BEAUTIFUL AND SPENT MORE THAN AN HOUR WIYH SPECTRUM. They couldn't figure it out. As soon as we got away from the hotel magically everything worked and was fine until we got back to the hotel, I ket the manager know and he told me we were the first to complain which i know isn't true after speaking to other guests who were also having issues No soap in the men's room because the soap they use is too thick for the dispensers. BYOS BRING hand sanitizer to this hour star hotel.

Yelp
Beautiful. Great food, great service, beautiful atmosphere. But the beach is the Long Island sound. There's not much the hotel can do about that, but the views are meh compared to literally anywhere else with an ocean.

Linda M.

Yelp
Amazing...I love that it's only 33 rooms which is why the service is excellent.. the rooms are spotless and the bed was great... great mattress and soft sheets and then there's the beach. The beach is small but lovely and the service on the beach was exceptional. Loved it

Yelp
A rare day off for me took us to the Madison Beach Hotel with a friend for lunch. Service by Boston Mike is always top notch and love his cocktail club program. RM

Jean B.

Yelp
The hotel is right on the beach, which makes it amazing. It has a terrific staff, great food, and fun activities such as free concerts that span throughout summer. The GM, John, is engaging, super friendly, and helpful if you have any questions. Everyone who works there is also that way. The food is delicious along with delightful servers. They and the chef can alter any dish of your choice. Make your reservations soon because it only has around 33 rooms. Just spectacular! Jan B.

Yelp
BEAUTIFUL BOUTIQUE HOTEL WITH A WONDERFUL STAFF My husband and I have been celebrating our September wedding anniversary at the Madison Beach Hotel every year for the past 7 years, and it just keeps getting better. It all began when I spoke to Matthew before we even arrived and asked for an early check-in, if possible. We know it can be tricky, depending on who is arriving/leaving, so we weren't sure. We arrived, and Robert at Valet Parking graciously ran in to see if we would be checking in early. Matthew came out to greet us on the front porch as we were getting out of car: "Welcome Quinn's! Happy Anniversary!" Matthew checked us in, and had a bottle of champagne sent to our room and treated us to breakfast the next day, as an anniversary gift. He went above and beyond during our entire stay. Our room was beautiful, and faced the Sound. You can see the sunrise and sunset from the terrace. There was a handwritten note from Jeremy, the concierge, wishing us a Happy Anniversary. Robert at Valet wears many hats, as he set up our chairs and umbrella on the beach each day that we were there. He is so friendly and professional, and we enjoyed our conversations. We ate at The Wharf restaurant both nights--delicious food - I am vegan and was pleasantly accommodated. Don't miss out on reserving a high-top table that faces the Sound to see the sunset. Shout out to Sherry in housekeeping - she is so accommodating, providing us with whatever provisions we needed, always with a smile. I asked Sherry questions about other rooms available at the Madison Beach Hotel and she graciously shared her knowledge - so helpful for future visits. Sherry said that the staff at the Madison Beach Hotel is like family, and she enjoys being there every day. I enjoyed all of our conversations. When we checked out, Matthew helped us plan our visit for next year. Both Robert and John at valet parking helped us pack our car. The Madison Beach Hotel is a beautiful boutique hotel set right on the Sound. And the staff makes it even more beautiful. Thanks to everyone - see you next year!

Yelp
we just returned from a lovely dinner at Eddy's. We live across the bay from the Silver Sands and we couldn't wait for it to open. the atmosphere is stunning. Service staff is friendly and the food was delicious. We had the hummus and two different pizzas. So delicious. Amazing property

Yelp
Great place to stay near the beach. The staff is very helpful and accommodating. The rooms are cozy with electric fireplaces and the ocean view suites are heavenly.

Yelp
We had such a pleasant, wonderful stay at this little paradise so close to home! Shout out to Erick, who provided great service and information at check in, and David and Ella, our masseuses when we visited the in-house spa! Fabulous restaurant, lavish spa, and brilliant environment overall-- 10/10 recommend!

Michael J.

Yelp
The hotel itself was situated right on the beach, offering stunning views of the ocean and easy access to the sandy shores. The hotel's restaurant was another standout feature. The food was delicious and the drinks were great. The hotel staff were all incredibly friendly and accommodating. This hotel is a great overnight or weekend trip just to get away. It's very clean!

Yelp
Only complaint is that they stop serving food for everyone at 9pm . What about the hotel guests that might want room service late at night? Or a late dinner . Whomever thought it was OK to stop servicing for at 9 PM needs to be terminated

Yelp
We stayed for the weekend and absolutely loved our room and location. Very close to everything. Staff is very helpful and valet staff was extra helpful with assisting us to find things to do. Restaurant is amazing! I highly recommend the lobster roll. Bar service was great too! Rooms were clean and nicely decorated and the view~~~ amazing! We will definitely be back to visit!

Yelp
I am completely in love with this gorgeous property. We arrived a few hours ago, and we are in heaven. This property, hotel, bar, restaurant, beach, spa are all exceptional! I have stayed at Ritz Carltons and Four Season properties on both coasts, and across the world, and there's something incredibly special about this place. It's warm and gracious hospitality. Derek, the valet who handled my bags and my car could not have been more welcoming to my mother and me. Every space is on the water, our balcony is overlooking the water far and wide, the restaurant, the check-in, the grounds are stunning. I'm supposed to check out in two nights and I feel like I want to live here for weeks. If you have any hesitation, don't. This is the place for complete and utter beauty, relaxation, and superb dining. I had a reflexology treatment on my feet and hands that transported me. The technician, Brian has been doing this sort of thing since the 1970s, and it shows. The manager of the spa, Barbara has been like a personal concierge since I called the spa to make a treatment weeks ago, emailing me helpful suggestions for my (90-year-old) mother that she might enjoy, even off property. That kind of service is special because it's rare. I'm treating my mother to this weekend away and she said to me a half dozen times already, " I feel like you have taken me to heaven." Yes, that is what this place feels like, heaven on earth!

Yelp
My sister lives in Madison and took me and our aunt here for early dinner. She likes to bring all her out-of-town guests to this spot because the view and setting are so impressive and there is ample outdoor seating. The porch tables were next to a retractable window screen that the staff was more than happy to raise so we could take advantage of a winter sunset over the Sound. The heaters were quite effective - actually a little too warm for my liking. The server, Martha, was knowledgeable about our dietary restrictions (vegan and gluten free among us) and was able to help make accommodations to the menu choices. Two of us had the Laos fried rice which was nicely cooked and loaded with veggies. I ordered the sweet chili oil on the side to add as needed- it was not particularly spicy and added a nice flavor. My sister ordered the kale and farro salad without the cheese and they accommodated her and made it a "double." It was well-presented, fresh and tasty. I loved the off-season vibe of this location and would definitely come back.

Yelp
If you got a beautiful day in Madison take a few minutes and go to the Madison hotel have a cocktail on the deck or fine dining experience. Compared to none.

Heidi S.

Yelp
It was our pleasure to stay at Madison Beach Hotel. We had a breathtaking room that was quite nautical in its appearance. In addition we had a deck overlooking Long Island sound. We slept at night with the door open to the deck so we could hear the sound of the Sea roaring in the background. It was a charming stay and I fell in love with the sea all over again. You can get a massage at the hotel if you so choose. You can get room service. You can dine at their wonderful restaurant which offers brunch on weekends. There is a smoking section outside but the hotel in general is non-smoking. I think you will adore your stay there. The people were wonderful and treated us with kindness and graciousness. To say I would go back there is putting it mildly

Yelp
LOVED our stay at their Madison Beach Hotel! A small boutique hotel with only 32 rooms. What a lovely stay! The rooms were cute and really clean. The Madison is right on the beach so we were lucky to have fantastic ocean view (see our photos). Valet parking and a restaurant and bar on site. The beach area is very small but don't forget it's only a 32 room hotel. A lovely outdoor area with Adirondack chairs, they have a bar area set up outside as well. Spa area is cozy and quaint. Spa services were wonderful too! One word of advice though: They seem to book many weddings here. The noise is really loud through the rooms and the hotel. Unfortunately we did not know that our room was across from the 'bridal suite" where the wedding party was getting dressed. Pictures were being taken right out of our door in the hallway. Yes, ask for a higher floor. We were on 2. Big mistake. It was pretty loud all night. The food at the restaurant was good too. I'll hit that up in a separate review of The Wharf.

Ernesto P.

Yelp
Stayed here for a weekend place is great. Pretty much on the beach. Very friendly staff nice bar and restaurant although a couple of dishes we ordered were not very tasty: maybe the chef was having an off night. This was end of March so not summer season so the vibes I'm sure are different in the summer but overall great place and a great location. Would def recommend.
google avatar

Reid F.

Yelp
This place is expensive, but if you get a room on a higher floor facing Long Island Sound, the views are breathtaking. It's one of the few places where you can watch both the sunrise and the sunset. The service is excellent, from the valet (John) to the front desk to the housekeepers. The rooms are also very elegant, with large marble bathrooms that have both a bathtub and a rainfall shower. I have only two complaints: 1. The bed is too hard. Rather than using foam, air, or individual coils, it uses old-style metal springs that make sleeping on your side less than desirable. 2. While the shower includes shampoo, conditioner, and bath gel by Gilchrist and Soames, there is no shelf or railing where you might put your own products. Nevertheless, despite these minor issues, this is a magical hotel.
google avatar

Kristi L.

Yelp
We had fun! Our room couldn't have been more perfect with a walk out right onto the ocean beach, king bed, huge bathroom with enormous 3-head shower, fantastic view, and all the amenities! The bartenders were friendly and knew their cocktails, wait staff was amazingly helpful getting us just the right seats and suggesting all the best food! The manager was so nice as we discussed a spa weekend for the spring with my daughter and granddaughter. Our only drawbacks were the one parking attendant who seemed to think she owned the place with her horrid attitude and nasty comments, and the lame excuse for a substitute continental breakfast by way of a basket filled with ONE bottle of water, ONE orange, ONE banana, ONE apple, and ONE tiny muffin (for the TWO of us). Also, do NOT take their recommendations to have breakfast at Cristy's up the street -- it's horrible!
google avatar

Emily D.

Yelp
Great atmosphere! Love the location, of course. I'd recommend making reservations and asking to sit outside with water view.
google avatar

Mike K.

Yelp
Great experience. Beautiful hotel. The sunset ocean views from the room's balcony are stunning. Here the ocean is so close, the water feels just outside your doors. You can hear it from the balcony. The staff was great... friendly and funny; from the bar tender to the valet, reception, and manager Jason. Seemed like they enjoyed being there and working together. Lobster rolls and drinks were delicious. The manager chatted with the 4 of us briefly in the restaurant and then sent dessert up to the room! Nice gesture. We will be back.

Anna V.

Yelp
This review is specific to the spa. My spa experience was extremely disappointing. Scheduling required multiple phone calls and emails because the administrative person seemed to have trouble keeping track of the details, which was time consuming and frustrating. I booked two 60-minute treatments, neither of which lasted more than 40 minutes. I had to wait for both to start - over 30 minutes for the second one - but both ended as if they had started on time. Additionally, I was concerned about the hygiene practices at the spa. I observed the administrative person using his bare hands to put ice into the water carafes and the person doing my facial also touched my feet - and then my face again - without washing her hands. Overall, unprofessional and low quality. It really spoiled my time at the hotel. I wish I had decided to go somewhere else once scheduling became such an ordeal.

Yelp
This is such a special little property in quaint, Madison, CT. I've stayed here several times and can I tell you how much I love this hotel and the people working at this hotel? Since I have to stay here 3-5 days at a time, I always make sure I'm super comfy so I always get the room with the King Bed that has the view of Long Island Sound, it's a 800 square foot room, old world style, with a HUGE king sized bed, a fireplace, and a HUGE and luxurious bathroom with an AWESOME tub, a nice size 37 inch TV and in addition it has stunning views of the Madison shoreline and the Sound. The bed, next to the Westin's heavenly bed, is one of the most comfy around. The linens are amazing and have that great freshly laundered smell and are so, so, so soft. The bathroom at this place is incredible and if I could find the photos, I would of added them into this review. The tub is Vegas style and has a deep soaking tub (accompanied by bath salts) Here are the pluses of this hotel: 1) Restaurant in the hotel is great for drinks, socializing and meetings 2) Lunch - Clam chowder is awesome 3) Walking distance to Christy's the breakfast place 4) On the beach 5) Great networking place as many locals frequent the place 6) Room has a fridge, safe, 2 closets and great fireplace entertaining area 7) Hotel can arrange for limo service to the airport 8) Great friendly staff all around If you're looking for a romantic place to stay or a good business hotel, this will more then meet your requirements.

Yelp
My husband planned a quick getaway as a surprise for our 12th Anniversary. This is a stand-alone hotel nestled in a lovely residential coastline neighborhood. I appreciate the esthetic of the exterior was intended to blend with its surroundings despite the scale of a hotel. A charming walkable town or state parks are a short drive away... golf course walking distance. Everyone on staff was personable and accommodating and we received excellent service from all. The room was spacious and well- appointed inclusive of fireplace and soaker tub. We had a great view of the sound from our 3rd floor balcony. We dined in the restaurant 2 nights of our stay ordering 4 different entrees off the chef's newly rolled out menu....all were delicious.

Chasity R.

Yelp
The rooms and the location were nice. We also had brunch at the restaurant and it was good. Overall good experience and the property was super cute!

Yelp
It's a bit stuffy now yes! However it's a classic place for those who love the view and the extra care from wonderful staff

Yelp
Live a few shoreline towns over.. cane here today for lunch. Atmosphere is great, however Salmon wasn't that good over a salad... I ordered blackened, came not cooked well.. sat down at 145 we got our meals at 245, ... wine was good and the cheesecake with blueberry sauce to die for... wouldnt go back to eat.... next time just for a drink then head out for dinner somewhere else near by. I'm a shoreline girl, and live near the area.... and know my restaurants, will not be returning here... Make a reservation, for OUTSIDE ,we had to sit inside.. Asked for a glass of water with ice, waitress told me there's NO water served, however I can order a bottled water for 2$.. ummm lol Just spend shy of $90 on lunch and dessert and drinks... Wecan't get a glass of water!?

Yelp
The views, the service, the price! All worth it. We had a fun local bachelorette with several rooms and dined on site. It was impeccable!

Yelp
Recently, I had the opportunity to stop by the Madison Beach Hotel's restaurant, The Wharf, for an early dinner. Upon sitting down at the bar, I met Mike, the bartender. Extremely pleasant and welcoming. I asked Mike, not having been there before, what's his specialty? Old Fashion, he said. I can't remember the time I had one, but, Mike's was so good. He gave me recommendations for appetizers and main course. Spot on, the food was delicious. Raw oysters, clam chowder and the Cod made the end of my day more enjoyable. Throughout my dinner, Mike was extremely hospitable, even though he's a huge sox fan. As a Yankee fan, I'd definitely go back for the food and of course the conversations with Mike. Great place.

Yelp
I'm reviewing this hotel for having a wedding here. (I did not stay here, but did visit the rooms and they are rather standard.) The outdoor wedding ceremony here was small, and right next to the hotel. It wasn't on the actual beach, but right off of it on a grass area. I'm not sure if they allow them on the beach or not. Even if they do, it's a small beach. There is no area for guests to congregate waiting for the ceremony. The only option is the lobby, and you're milling about with other guests. The hotel itself is very small and so there is no grandness about this location. The view from the reception area on the second floor is of some of the water but then also a parking lot. If you stay in one of the ocean-facing suites in the main house, they are right next to the event spaces so people will see you on the balcony all night and I'm sure the noise can become annoying. The reception itself is just fine, and the food was not memorable. I felt cramped the whole time. The brunch the next morning was in the same location, and it was also not memorable. But at least it was good weather.

Yelp
Food is so overpriced. We asked for information about a large party of 15 and they demanded that it be considered a "banquet" and we pay a premium for a stuffy banquet room upstairs instead of in the restaurant. I told the manager they could easily put a couple tables together in the restaurant to accommodate our party and she got stuffy and nasty. She told me they have 85 weddings planned this summer and don't need my business. God forbid they work with a customer to see what options might be available. They just pushed me away. Better places on the shoreline for sure.

Sung K.

Yelp
Found this hidden gem via research and I couldn't have asked for anything more. I was looking for a nice hotel that was driving distance from NYC for a short family getaway. It took about 1.5 hours to get there from NYC. The place is kept impeccably clean. I experienced great service from everyone, but Rebecca at the front desk really stood out. She was the person who answered the phone when I called the morning of our arrival to let them know that we'd be arriving a little early. She helped pre-arrange extra cot mattresses in the room for the kids and let me know early check in was likely possible. She remembered the family throughout the stay and always tried to help out with a smile. As for the room, we stayed in the Studio Hospitality Suite with one king bed. The suite was huge and like I said, they placed extra cot mattresses for the kids without any issue. We ordered room service from the hotel restaurant, the Wharf, several times and enjoyed our meals at the large table in the suite. I could tell they really put a lot of effort into designing the suite. Everything from matching chairs, circular windows, wall papers, nice sitting areas, golden showers and facets in the bathroom went really well together. Unlike most rooms at the hotel, this room did not have ocean view but I could literally get to the beach in one minute so that was not an issue for us. While they don't have a pool, they do have a private beach. It's not huge, but the hotel only has 32 rooms so it is big enough to accommodate those staying at the hotel. We (especially the kids) had a blast at the beach. There were plenty of beach chairs and umbrellas and the staff made sure everyone got what they requested (including towels and food from the restaurant). Waves were small the first two days which made it perfect to swim in. On the last day, winds made the waves bigger and provided extra excitement to be in the water. Finally, they had a hot shower right at the beach which was a very nice touch. Again, we had a blast and can't wait to go back soon.

Yelp
I have been here only on business but have felt like I was enjoying a leisurely vacation each trip. 4 visits in the last couple years and as an avid business traveler, the staff friendliness and desire to provide an exceptional customer experience never goes unnoticed. There is a nice size gym and one restaurant/bar that serves all meals. During the week there are few guests and overall the feel of the resort is relaxed. Don't expect the service to be in a New York minute. The curio is a gem in the small, quaint town of Madison.

Yelp
I'm not sure that I have a more favorite place yet! We have stayed at the property multiple times and every time it was amazing. The views are nothing short of spectacular, the rooms were always luxurious and the staff has always gone above and beyond to make our stay perfect. The bar/restaurant has amazing food weather a nice sit down dinner or a Bloody Mary and a football game...you will not be disappointed. We haven't tried the Sunday Brunch yet but it also looked fantastic. That's our next trip out here. We have witnessed amazing sunsets, sunrises from our bed and I swear on a calm afternoon we saw whales from the balcony. We can't say enough praise for the property and staff...traveled the world yet still one of our favorite spots.

Helene C.

Yelp
We went for a family reunion. It was fantastic. The rooms were clean with a beautiful view from the balcony. Everything was close by beach, restaurant and room. The service was amazing from the front desk staff, valet parking especially John, housekeeping, beach staff especially Colin, etc. The restaurant food was fantastic and service excellent. especially Jimmy. Thank you to the manager John, Ana and everyone who work behind the scenes to make our stay so memorable.

Yelp
Loved our stay here, beautiful views from all areas of the hotel. Staff is very kind and accommodating. Directly on the beach. The restaurant there is delicious and versatile. Can't wait to return!

Yelp
We just couldn't resist coming back for the 6th time, and as always it was 5 stars! The most accommodating, friendly staff I have ever encountered in all my travels. The Waters Edge Hotel's staff in Westbrook could learn a thing or two by visiting The Madison Beach Hotel. Our room was beautiful and the bed so comfortable I didn't want to get out of it. We had dinner at The Wharf, the Tuna Tartare was fabulous and our waiter Daniel was wonderful. We decided on room service for our breakfast before our departure, and it was in our room within 15 minutes. The bacon was out of this world! As always I highly recommend this beautiful Hotel. Yelp
I went to brunch with my husband and another couple yesterday. The food was absolutely amazing! There were many vegetarian options, a raw bar, carving station, omelette station and various salads- The beet salad being my favorite. The dessert table had many mini selections so you could try a few. We sat outside and the views were beautiful. The staff was attentive enough. We sat for awhile eating making sure to take Our time and enjoy. Then we were Able to sit outside near the beach and just relax.

Yelp
We've just stayed at Madison Beach Hotel for the past five days. It was such a pleasure. Staff were truly attentive. Location was great. Room was spacious with terrace overlooking the beach. Wharf Restaurant was excellent. I don't review on social media, but this is worthy.

Yelp
The place is beautiful and the food is great. The views are to die for. There is a neighborhood dog, however, that barks a LOT. I walked down the street and it was coming from a house next door - #15.

Yelp
The only complaint is there are no ice machines for you to get your ice. You have to call the front desk and wait for someone to bring it to you and it can take up to a half hour to 45 mins for ice depending on how busy they are. They hotel itself is definitely a nice hotel. It's clean and has great views in every room. There are activities and nice amenities. It is in a great location and close to everything that Madison has to offer. This was an anniversary trip and we had a really nice time and it is directly on the beach which is so wonderful!!

Yelp
Wow! First time in CT and I'm in love! Madison Beach hotel has a prime location on the CT side of Long Island sound. The views are mesmerizing. Gilchrist and Soames bath products. I loved their bath salts! They make rounds for evening service chocolate (and wine, I think), so make sure your DND sign isn't on the door Service 5/5 -front desk (May, Jorge) are so helpful and friendly Room 3/5 -nicely styled, clean but a few things that could be improved. The ac or some motor was very very loud. Luckily I do well with white noise and this didn't bother me as much as it would to others. My tub drain was loud, didn't seal properly. And the hair blow dryer was finnicky. It would come on and off

Yelp
THIS PLACE IS FOR OLD PEOPLE DO NOT COME HERE IF YOU ARE YOUNG AND WANT TO ENJOY YOURSELF!!!!! Old and stuffy duster patrons are extremely rude. We were here for a friend's birthday and treated like we were on death row. There were six of us and we had multiple drinks, and were giving them quite good business. It was a Sunday afternoon on a beautiful day, and we were repeatedly ostracized and punished by the waitstaff. We were told that we needed to "tone it down," as we were "being too loud." Additionally, we were sitting at the strip outside in a far corner away from other patrons, talking at a very normal volume. Maybe if you want peace and quiet when you eat then go have your clam chowder in a morgue- sorry we were enjoying ourselves! Then there was world war 3 regarding the screens outside. We wanted them up in OUR SECTION as it was a gorgeous day. Someone complained and a waiter "BILL" kept putting the screen down- even though we were taking up an entire section and had asked for it up!!! He also rudely dropped off the check and dramatically tried to whisk us away saying "dinner reservations" were coming in. First off, Billy, it was 4 pm and there was nobody waiting to be seated- we weren't even at a table! These losers lost out on more business as my parents had come to meet us for some martinis but we took our business elsewhere away from this dusted, overpriced and overhyped joint. I will never be recommending this place again unless someone is 99 years old and wants to eat in pure silence

Yelp
Excellent! Delicious food, expertly prepared and one of the best views in Connecticut. I highly recommend this place. Fabulous brunch, and great for lunch and dinner too.

Yelp
I had dinner last night at the Madison Beach Hotel Restaurant and the meal was superb! Several of the ladies in our party, had the Maple Salmon which was wonderful along with the roasted potatoes and the green beans. The service was perfect and it was a wonderful evening for the whole group. Thank you so much to the staff at the Madison Beach Hotel Restaurant and we look forward to more delicious meals at that beautiful location. Denise R.

Yelp
Great location, we had a wonderful view, a bit pricey. My only critique... after getting calls back and told on 2 separate occasions that a menu item was not Available, room service got our food order wrong twice.
