The 15 Best Vegan & Vegan-Friendly Restaurants In Atlanta

"When we need an exciting lunch to pull us from workday doldrums, we head to Madras Mantra in Marietta to sop up spicy curry lentils with tandoori-cooked roti. Though the vibe here is chill—warm, mustard yellow walls and a few diners chomping on thali samplers—their well-spiced curries are full of enough pep to wake us up. All of the dishes at this South Indian restaurant are vegetarian while a good bit of the menu is vegan (and some can be made vegan upon request)." - nina reeder, demarco williams, juli horsford

Great authentic South Indian food options. The buffet is great on weekends but I feel little over priced. Have been a regular customer for years taste and quality is great

Google
Disappointing Experience Before visiting, I called to confirm if mango lassi and chai latte were included in the buffet, as is common at other Indian buffets. They assured me they were. However, upon arrival, I was told I had to purchase them separately. Their soup was only water there is no vegetables or lentil there This dishonesty left a sour taste, despite the good food. The restroom was also unclean and messy

Riya

Google
We ordered 2 thalis and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience. Most of the items seemed stale, the lemon rice was completely dry, almost as if it was made a couple of days ago. The naan was burnt, the gulab jamun was extremely hard, and the rasam tasted like plain water with just some onions added, it had no flavor at all. Overall, the food lacked freshness and quality. The only redeeming item was the idly, which was relatively good. Still, this was by far one of the worst thali experiences we’ve had.

Wind Napol

Google
The well known vegetarian Indian restaurant located in a small plaza with plenty of parking. Their dishes were all excellent with tons of flavors and fresh ingredients. Service was great, at the time that we went there were a lot of staff walking around checking if we need anything throughout. Portions were generous. The food came out quite quickly. Definitely have to revisit for trying more dishes. So far everything we had was excellent.

Great Food. One of the best South Indian restaurants. The lunch buffet is excellent. Dining in from the menu is also great. Sometimes the service can be slow, and dishes are brought out of sequence.

The Food is what I would go back for the most! The service was just ok. The atmosphere I wish had more of a full authentic Indian Vibe. It was our first time there, we Love Indian Cuisine.

Google
As a frequent meat eater, this vegetarian only Indian restaurant is one of my favorite go-tos - the food is so tasty, I never miss meat. I’ve been here for both dinner and their lunch buffet and had amazing experiences. I recommend the vegetable biriyani, the Manchurian baby corn veggie, and any of the masalas - you cannot go wrong with any of their dishes!

Srilakshmi

Google
We have been to Madras Mantra many times and have never left disappointed. Dosas were flavorful and the sambar, chutneys and curries were equally good. Vegetable pbiriyani was also tasty and had the right amount of spices. Badam halwa, Rasamalai, Kulfi, and Lassi were also delicious and the rasamalai was a kids favorite. The portion sizes are huge and the staffs are always friendly. This place is a must if you crave for authentic South Indian food!

Yelp
Can't believe it's taken me this long to visit. Went on the weekend for dinner and I'm SO glad I did. This is a vegetarian restaurant with a HUGE menu The menu is large enough that it was genuinely difficult to decide what to order. We got 4 dishes: samosa, gobi Manchurian, a lentil, and a dosa. Everything was fantastic. I was watching them clean up the buffet and it was torture. I'll have to come back for lunch so I can try more of the menu.

Yelp
We eat here at least a couple times a month. The food is always fresh and delicious and generously spiced. We always leave here very satisfied... not even vegetarian but don't miss the meat at all.

Yelp
Went there for lunch time buffet. Self service, but the staff were good with picking up empty plates . Wasn't too busy , lots of seating around . Atmosphere was quiet , light music playing . There water lots of dishes there, wanted to try them all , but can only mange so much . It's Pure Vegetarian and I really enjoyed some of the dishes that I tried out .

Yelp
Madras Mantra Marietta location is a busy buffet restaurant offering Indian favorites in a comfy, sizable space with outdoor seating. Has all you can eat and serves vegan dishes. This well known vegetarian Indian restaurant located in a small plaza with plenty of free parking available in front of the restaurant. I had the very best onion rava masala dosa here at this restaurant with the filter coffee which is amazing in taste. The onion and spinach pakora and Bombay Bhel appetizers were good to taste. Their dishes were all excellent with tons of flavors and fresh ingredients. Service was great, at the time that we went there were a lot of staff walking around checking if we need anything throughout. Portions were generous and reasonably priced. The food came out quite quickly. Great ambiance with lots of Indian posters and decor. Definitely have to revisit for trying more dishes from their menu. The staff is very polite, courteous and helpful with any questions. So far everything we had was excellent.

Yelp
Looks aren't everything! = Ambiance is bland. There's nothing wrong with it but nothing to write home about neither. = My recent enthusiasm for uttapam lead to this MM visit. Unfortunately it was disappointing. It was probably the most bland Indian food I've had in 20 years! This is supposedly South Indian! My vegetarian Indian friend got their dosa and said his dish too was mediocre. Baffling is the Yelp rating. + Price is reasonable ++ Service is prompt and friendly. + Parking is a shared lot Perhaps it was an off night and I may give them another try. MY RATINGS - - - Inhumane - - Disgusted - Don't bother = Missed the Mark + Good ++ Better +++ EDIBLE...WHERE have you been all my LiFe!
google avatar

Yelp
Do not judge the simple deco of the restaurant. Plenty of seatings, lots of choices in the buffet spread even for a non- vegetarian person like me, great service. Last but not least, Best Dosa in town!

Yelp
HUGE menu with lots of great options. From what I can tell, every single item on the menu is vegetarian, which I am a huge fan of because it gives my wife a lot of options (and also vegetarian Indian food is really good!). I also think this is all (or at least mostly) South Indian food. We went for the dosas, as they can be a bit rarer to find than the Indian food commonly found in the US. If you've never had a dosa, imagine a crispy and savory crepe, usually filled with some sort of curried vegetables or paneer inside, alongside some chutneys for dipping. I got the pav bhaji dosa and my wife got the chili paneer dosa. Both of them were fantastic and very filling. They also came with sambar (a really good soup). I want to be clear, this food has a good amount of spice, probably around what most Indian restaurants would consider medium. If you get dosas, don't be afraid of the chutneys! They add so much awesome flavor to the already delicious food. We ordered takeout, but it was easy to order and the cashier was very friendly when I picked our food up. It looked very busy on a Friday night when I was there. I will 100% come back next time I'm in the area!

Yelp
3 of my Indian colleagues said great stuff about this Indian vegetarian restaurant - and the restaurant was mostly Indian customers - so you know it has to be good! And wow, it didn't disappoint at all - we were like "oooo" and "ahhhh" because the food looked good and the portions were humongous! A lot of picture taking! Everyone loved their food. My Indian colleague said they are known for their dosai and curries - several at our table got the dosai and it looked amazing (and amazingly big!!). MADRAS MANTRA SPECIAL THALI - $15 I got the Thali b/c I love variety - but I didn't expect this much variety! I think I counted 9 different little containers of food! The highlight was the puffy bread centerpiece ("poori") which also was my favorite - I love bread :) Another favorite was their tofu tikka masala. Most of the food was spicy and I can't tell you what each was - the menu mentions three Chef's Choice curries, sambar (lentil based vegetable stew), rasam (soup), basmati rice, special rice, naan or poori (I got the poori - aka puffy bread), vada (veggie fritter shaped like a donut), raita (yogurt), pickle, and dessert (Gulab Jamun). Just a couple things to note - they could only take 5 credit cards max for our party of 6. Also it did feel humid inside the restaurant. But otherwise those were minor compared to our pure enjoyment of eating such good food with our favorite colleagues. We'll be back for sure! FYI they're in the shopping center on the corner of Windy Hill Rd and Cobb Pkwy.

Yelp
Service was quick, ambience was good but the food was disappointing. Neither the plain dosa served with the chutneys and sambar nor the chole bhatura tasted good. Food lacked flavors and we left feeling hungry.

Yelp
Great taste Fast delivery We have been in the restaurant And staff is very friendly

Yelp
Consistently good quality & fast service. Spice level medium and perfect food every time. It doesn't disappoint you. Masala dosa comes with two chutney and Sambhar. South Indian thaali with Poori comes with a dessert , rice, vada, Sambhar, two chutney, two sabzi including one paneer sabzi and chole. All good quality and medium spice level.

Yelp
Food is OK, their dosas are decent. We always get the masala dosa. Ample seating inside, they also have outside seating for when it's nice out. However, don't expect much from their service. Most of the servers just want you in and out, no fan fare, and don't really care about your experience. Typically they give us the appetizers right with or even after our entrees and expect us to manage. Once they completely forgot to check in on us after we ordered appetizers! We waited for 40 minutes till we called them over and finally ordered entrees. 3.5/5 for food, 0/5 for service

Yelp
Popped in on a Saturday for lunch when my son was in town. We generally eat vegetarian and my son and his GF are vegan. This place was dialed. Service was on point but not overbearing. Started with the Onion Spinach Pakora. Good amount of food for the price. Crispy but not oily, with a phenomenal taste. The mint sauce was perfect. Lot of family style food, but I mainly went with the Onion Chili Masala Dosai. I was told it was spicy but I have a high tolerance and it wasn't too bad. It had a huge heap of seasoned potato in the center which i spread out with the Dosai. It came with bunch of sauces that were awesome and a little cup of soup that was so flavorful. A lot of tasty food so we had a lot of leftovers but Indian food ages very well. Will return.

Yelp
The food was pretty good and came out super fast! the prices are also reasonable. ambiance is chill, spacious and casual. the service is a bit awkward but i appreciate them for checking if the Dal Makhani could be made vegan. it has cream in it so i went for the Dal Tadka with garlic naan which was yummy and super spicy! i ate it with the chutney that came with the samosas, which come with 3 for $4! overall i feel like this place is a great deal if you want authentic indian flavors. i think it deserves 4.5 stars!

Yelp
Perfect flavours of Madras, India. Spices, herbs, everything on point. Service is good. They have special buffets on mothers and fathers days.

Yelp
Madras mantra Marietta has excellent vegetarian options. The staff is amicable, courteous, and responsive. To top all of this, we had a great experience today. I had dropped my wallet on the floor in the restaurant and when I called after 2 days, they were very honest and handed over the wallet responsibly. This shows the integrity of all the staff there. We greatly appreciate it and it is a great place to keep going back for its excellent food. Though a small place the ambiance was homely :)

Yelp
Best place to take out of town friends and family. Closed on Mondays. Many a time my friends opt to go here for lunch and I love eating dosas which is the indian version of rice paper crepe. Service is friendly and high tech, ambiance of being at home back in India

Yelp
We've been to their Decatur location many times AND LOVED IT, although since COVID, Decatur changed to an electronic table ordering/checkout system so the only time we saw staff was when they put the food on the table, and it was *not pleasant*. We haven't been back in a while because of that. Reviews for Marietta suggested they DIDN'T do that, so we met up with our daughter and son-in-law for her birthday. They had arrived just a minute before us and had menus and water. As soon as we sat down, a server asked if we were ready to order. We ordered wine and beer (and 2 more menus!) and asked for more time. The beer came out quickly, and the (different) server again asked us to order. We are vegetarian and 1 of us is gluten-free, so we hurriedly chose 2 apps & 3 familiar dishes marked GF to share. The food came very quickly; still no wine. The servers would barrel in, drop the dishes and fly away. I finally asked twice more for my wine and got it after we'd begun on the entrees. The place is roomy and pleasant, similar to Decatur, and we appreciate "real" menus, which are huge. It was Tuesday, so not crowded, but it was quite busy and they seemed to be understaffed. At least, the servers we saw seemed frantic and overworked, and we were loath to flag them down. There was a minor communication problem between the soft-voiced accents of the servers, and my poor hearing, plus for each appetizer or drink we ordered (individually) they asked "One, or two?", which was damned confusing! The food is really good, although I wished we'd had more time to examine the menu and experiment. It's so rare for us to find a fully vegetarian restaurant where we can order IT ALL, and yet we got stuck with the very basics because we felt rushed. I would like to have asked about the Dosai, which are this location's specialty, and are supposed to be gluten-free, but aren't *marked* that way on the menu. But it seemed like asking that of our harried young servers would have broken them. I'd love to go back but not when we are entertaining guests, and it's a 45 minute drive from our end of town, so it seems unlikely.

Yelp
A very sophisticated Indian restaurant with some amazing food options on the menu chart. Haven't seen a restaurant with this much variety in South Indian especially Dosa, Idly till now in/around Atlanta region. Went on a Sunday night and it was a bit crowded. We went on to order some tiffin items. Tomato Soup: It was really good. Felt like having in India and not westernized. Rava Onion Dosa: Was just good and with Sambar it was better. It was big but wasn't that much moist. Felt a bit dry. The red chutney on the sides were good but the Coconut chutney wasn't great. Plate of Idly and Vadai: We wanted to have Kancheepuram idly and it wasn't available, so ended up ordering this. The idly was good and soft. Definitely not the hard ones you get at most places. The Vadai was just good. Mini Idly: We badly wanted to try this out but it was an utter disappointment to all of us. They ran out of some good mini idly's and they could have informed us ahead. Instead they just gave some pieces of mini idly and few more pieces of normal sized idlys. It was not so cool to come up with such an excuse and give us those pieces during closing time. The ambience was very good. Not the first time for me here. But the service during closing hours is so bad. As said earlier the excuse for not having Mini Idlys and replacing with just normal ones without consulting us was totally unacceptable. The waiters were courteous but not knowledgeable of what's happening in the kitchen. OVERALL: Great menu but actual availability is a question. Good dosa's but sides could have been a lot better. Ambience is good, a proper fine dining family restaurant. Decently crowded for a weekend night. MY PICKS FOR YOU: Rava Onion Dosa, Plain Idly and Vadai

Yelp
Madras Mantra serves delicious South Indian food. They offer a variety of options including dosa, idli, vada, pongal etc. They have great vegetarian and vegan options. I am a regular here and I always enjoy the food they serve. On this particular visit, I tried the masala idli which was usually great but this time it was just average. I also had the rava masala dosa which was super nice. The server took a little extra time to take our order. I would have given this place a 4-star rating for this visit, but since I am a regular and I know that they are usually better than this, I will give them a 5-star rating. The ambiance of this place is casual and it can be a little crowded sometimes. I also had the filter coffee which was nice and reminded me of home. Overall, I would recommend this South Indian restaurant to anyone looking for some delicious South Indian food. Even though this time it was not perfect but I know they are usually better. P.S. This is a vegetarian place so if you are looking for meat options this is not the right place for you.

Yelp
Wow! The food was absolutely amazing! Service was friendly and the food was quick. My husband and I ordered two appetizers, three main dishes, and one side dish and EVERYTHING tasted delicious.

Yelp
This is our second time visiting Madras Mantra at the Marietta location. The first time we were here for dinner and this time for lunch. Both times, the food quality and the service has exceeded our expectations. We started with two orders of Masala idli, a mango lassi, and two orders of their special thali, and musal Pav (spicy!). The musal pav was so delicious and spicy, exceeded my expectations in a good way. We've been to the one in Decatur and we find this location to be better in terms of food quality, and sitting area. There is plenty of parking as well close to the restaurant. Keep in mind that they haven't started buffet yet if you're coming in for that.
google avatar

Shradha A.

Yelp
It was a very large space with an authentic feel to it. All our food items were as expected and satisfying.

Yelp
My husband and I have been to this place multiple times after we stumbled upon it the first time. The main attraction for us was the South Indian Thali! Just delicious! The thali contains a variety of south indian dishes as well as a couple of North Indian curry with a choice or naan or poori! The Dessert that comes with the thali was amazing too! Even though we want to try other dishes the thali gives a variety of everything in a good portion size! In one of our visits we did try masala idli which was also amazing! Overall just love this place! The taste has been consistent every time we ve visited!

Yelp
Phenomenal service and food. My friends and I visited at 8:30 and were seated immediately, the restaurant was pretty full even on a Thursday night. We ordered two dosas, paneer masala dosa and andhra khari dosa. The server told us that the paneer dosa might take some time but to our service our food came out in ten minutes. Everything tasted great and two dosas were more than enough for 3 people. There's ample parking in the plaza. Really enjoyed quality Indian food.

Maha K.

Yelp
hey food is good. We used to go regularly but recently their service is bad. When we went the server made us sat on a table where there's no light then we asked for a different table she said she will check with the manager and let us know and never turned back. Then we ourselves checked with a different server and took a different table she was arguing saying that's a 6 person table we are only 4 whereas the table given 1st also a 6 person table. Once we sat down we ordered everything through our phone till the payment. Only the people from the kitchen came in between to bring our food. We had to wait for our to-go box to come. When we informed the manager/owner he didn't give a big response. That sounded like if you want to come, come otherwise we don't care attitude. No respect at all. 0 for service

Yelp
If you like chai pani and botiwalla you'll love madras mantra. Clean, friendly and the food next level Indian food. Thanks to Scott Andrews for the recommendation.

Yelp
This place offers vegetarian South Indian food, which is a niche (the average Indian restaurant in the U.S. offers North Indian and has a mix of vegetarian and non-vegetarian cuisine). It also happens to be a favorite niche of mine, and this place might be the best South Indian restaurant I've ever eaten at. It's large inside (and has some outdoor tables), clean, modern, with nice looking bathrooms and menus without stains on them. There were a lot of people providing service, though either their English was a tad limited or my accent just wasn't Georgia enough for them to understand. Anyway, I was able to order food: An idli is a steamed rice and lentil cake dipped in soup or various sauces; they're not terribly easy to find at all (I've been known to make them myself on occasion), but here, several varieties were available. The idli I tried had some mixed vegetables and nuts, and regardless of what I dipped them in, they were fresh and delicious. My chole bhatura arrived as two puffed up fried breads which were incredibly thin and delicate, to be dipped in a chickpea curry. Fresh onions and a single hot chili and lemon wedge were hidden under the bread for use as garnishes. The large surface area of this extra thin bread combined with the freshness of the garnishes makes for an explosion of flavor. I was pretty thrilled with this meal. Then again, I could have ordered just about anything else they offered, and everything I saw being ferried in to the neighboring tables looked just as good. The buffet is likely impressive; sadly, I won't be hanging around long enough to try it.

Yelp
Went here for the first time today and I was incredibly surprised to find such a good vegetarian Indian restaurant so nearby. It is located in a shopping plaza at the corner of windy hjll and Cobb pkwy. There was plenty of parking and when we walked in we were seated quickly. There were so many options to choose from so it took us a little while to order, but we finally settled on masala dosa, paneer makhani, garlic naan, and pav bhaji dosa. We got our food pretty quickly. Everything was so delicious! I was very pleased with the flavors and the spiciness level. I am really excited to come back and try more options. I wish that they would bring the buffet back because that would've been amazing to try! Also the ambience was very nice for a casual dinner or even a nice family dinner or date. There is outdoor seating available and the booths are really large and could probably seat about six people.

M. W.

Yelp
Wonderful food at a fantastic price. I visited for the first time today for the lunch buffet, and had a little of everything-- dosai, naan, saag paneer, tadka dal, gulab jamun, something with beets, something with eggplant, mushroom manchurian, rice pudding with cashews... it was all delicious. The service was superlative and friendly. I'll be back!

Yelp
It's hard to find a good veggie indian restaurant, this is the place to go for a perfect dosa, bhel, mirchi Ka salan, idli and more.

Yelp
The traditional Indian lunch buffets are pretty much closed in the ATL metro area. However, if you want some variety and don't mind spending a little bit more than usual (for a lunch buffet), do yourself a favor and order the thali at Madras Mantra! I am back in the office 3x a week and was craving some good South Indian food! I was very happy to see this option on the menu. A standard thali comes w/ rice, 3 curries, rasam, sambar, vada, a choice of naan or poori, raita and pickle, as well as a dessert of the day. I thoroughly enjoyed this and, unlike most buffets, you can take a "to go" box home. I'll be back, for sure.

Ela L.

Yelp
I've been here a couple times, and the food is excellent. I can say that it's some of the best Indian food I've had. It had great flavor, spice, and it was very high quality. The service, however, is hit or miss. The first time I came, it was okay, and I can't say much negative about the experience. The second time, it was pretty close to closing, and we were very rushed. We were hovered over as we decided what to order, we were told we couldn't order certain items, and we weren't really helped much. I've worked in customer service (and still do) can understand that they were ready to leave, and I can respect that, but the demeanor and quality of service was not very good. Honestly, I'd come back for the food, but I'd probably prefer to do take out, or try the Decatur location, as both are about equal distance from where I live.

Yelp
Loved this stop en route to Savannah from Bowling Green. Felt refreshed with decent madras coffee. The masala tea was really good. Bangalore masala dosa was amazing, it has two dosas in one plate! I tried plain masala dosa and that was average. Poori masala was ok. The Sambhar tastes a bit like rasam, but still tasty. Chutneys were average. Mulaku bhaji was ok. My toddler loved the cone dosa. Overall good South Indian place! Customer service is excellent.

Yelp

Yelp
This has always been my to go place when I think of vegetarian South Indian food. I am not sure if they have started the buffet yet. The last time we went on a Friday and found it closed. So you might wanna call and check on it. The food otherwise is too good! However I feel the madras mantra in Decatur is the BEST! Try out and lemme know

Yelp
My friends decided to visit Madras Mantra Onion for a Sunday dinner and we had a really great time. The servings were very filling and aptly sized for their price points with just a few setbacks. (6) Spinach Pakora 8.5/10: crunchy fried goodness (6) Medhu Vadai 7.5/10 plain but good with sauce (5) Vegetable samosa 7/10 tasty but the inside was slightly frozen from not being reheated properly (12) Bhindi masala 7.5/10 slightly spicy but pleasant (11) Aloo Gobi 7.5//10 almost the same as the Bhindi masala but with potatoes and cauliflower (3.5) Garlic Naan 8/10 good standard naan (10) Mysore masala dosai 10/10 crispy on outside soft on inside and delicious with sauces (10) Mixed vegetable uthappam 8/10 tasted like medhu vadai but soft but filling and tasty (10) Onion rava masala dosas 7/10 spicy beware (5) Mango lassi 9/10 soothes spice don't drink too much All the sauces 9.5/10 Service 8/10: One of the waiters did not realize that someone had already come to help us and was confused for a little while. I had also hoped the waiter with the water pitcher came around more than once. Besides having a little extra wait time as well, service was satisfactory and food was served 10-15 minutes after ordering. Food 8/10: Overall pretty enjoyable

Yelp
AMAZING! I loved it, I been to the location in Alpharetta which serves meat, however I am currently on a fast in which I'm only eating veggies. If you love Indian food but you're vegetarian, this is the place for you! You will almost forget that you're eating veggies. The food has so much taste and it's filling! The restaurant is beautifully decorated, it's clean and smells amazing with the great aroma of food! The food is fresh. The staff is attentive and welcoming. I took my little sister, she was skeptical of my choice, but once she tasted the first bite she was sold. She loved the tofu!

Yelp
We had a great lunch experience here yesterday. The food was plentiful and fresh, loaded with chunks of fresh vegetables. Also, the portions were generous and satisfying. We started with the soups. BF had the tomato soup, which was mildly spiced. I had the rasam, a fiery hot soup with fresh veggies. We shared the appetizer of steamed idlis with sambar and chutneys. Again, the sambar had many fresh vegetables. The chutneys were rich and tasty, and the idlis were soft and delicious. For the main course, I had the bisi bele bath, which was firm, which is my preference for this dish. It was full of crunchy nuts and veggies. BF had the bhind masala, which had just the right balance of seasoning and fresh vegetables. We also shared some Ajwain seed bread, which had a generous amount of the seeds yielding this unique taste. The restaurant itself was clean and inviting. They are taking the proper COVID precautions by waving the thermometer over our foreheads upon our entrance, and by not offering physical menus -- instead, they have a card on the table with a QR code that you scan to see the online menu. Finally, the restroom was immaculate. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone who loves fresh, authentic South Indian food.

Yelp
Quick service large portions over all good experience. Food very reasonably priced. Great options for both north and South Indian.

Yelp
I had tried this place before COVID but only the buffet and thought that it was good but nothing to brag about. Today I did a take out from their regular menu and I have to say that I was very impressed. Everything was well prepared and the flavors were amazing! Delicious vegetarian food.

Yelp
One of my favorite restaurants. Before the pandemic I loved their buffet. But after that the buffet was not an option so I started ordering from the menu. I've had so many different things on the menu...none of which disappoint. The service is always good and the prices are reasonable.

Yelp
They have good dosa, but they are by far the worst service we have encountered. We came to the restaurant an hour before closing time, they kept pushing us to order food, dessert, coffee all at once as soon as we sat down. By closing, we were one of three tables seated at the place and the two servers came to us three times to tell us they were closing, clearing our table with plates with food on them, our open cans of drinks; all this while the other two tables in the restaurant were still getting their food, eating, and no where near being done. We pointed out to them that they were only harassing us while they had to two other tables that were no where near done. Extremely poor service, no manager in sight. This is not the first time we've had poor service here but this was the worst. Never been shoo'd away quite like this before and treated poorly compared to other tables. Do better Madras Mantra. Your sister restaurant Madras Chettinaad does way better with service!

Yelp
I loved this restaurant. There are so many dosa options. There are so many options on everything! The service was very attentive. We were able to get suggestions on things and try several dishes that we had not had prior. I cannot believe how good this restaurant was and I can't wait to go back.

Yelp
Best vegetarian South Indian food I've had in Atl. The Sunday buffet is more expensive, but worth it. Lots of variety and all you can eat dosas. It does get pretty busy so come early and prepared to eat! Also you may want a cup of coffee after to prevent a food coma. Bathrooms are clean and plenty of space to accommodate large parties. Parking is free outside.
