Madre

The food in Madré was so delicious. The nachos were huge! More than enough for two people sharing. Flavours were amazing. The cheesy tacos and chicken tacos, also incredibly tasty. And the loaded potatoes? Absolute 🤌🏼 The service was really good also. The server was very knowledgeable with the menu and advised as to what to have and not have (two dishes we'd chosen were fairly similar and I appreciate that he told us). Food came out fairly quickly, and whilst we only got a couple of dishes each, it was very filling. Would go again.

I cannot overstate this enough - the food is amazing. The flavours are fantastic, and if you're searching for mouth-watering Mexican dishes then look no further. It's tapas style so order a selection of dishes and tuck in. We got three of the taco dishes - Birria, Baja and Pibil and got the Chicharon belly bites (which are so succulent, and melt in your mouth). Every dish was perfect and we're looking forward to coming back and trying more. The more people you bring the merrier - as you can try more of everything! We went just before the dinner rush and it was fairly quiet but as we left it had picked up and I imagine it gets pretty lively. Staff were lovely, food came out quickly and if you have any room after mains I can recommend the churros. Best churros I've had in a long long time. 10/10 we'll be back.

Went there to celebrate a birthday among friends, we were welcomed by lovely staff who were the most generous and kind people. They took care of us the whole time, always asking us about the food, if we needed anything etc. When it came to food, hands down, one if the best I’ve had! The flavours, the taste and the portions were just amazing, everyone enjoyed it! The vibes were immaculate, the music and the atmosphere very fun! Special thanks to Laura and Lauren and J (hopefully I have remembered correctly) for being so great! Will definitely go back there! ♥️ sorry for not taking more pictures of the food, but would recommend to try everything! 🌞

Warmly greeted and seated - staff were lovely. This was quite the wrong choice of food for us entirely BUT the young man who served us couldn't have been more helpful - he tried his very best to help us decide - which we did eventually. Nothing at all wrong with the food - we could see other tables absolutely tucking in and thoroughly enjoying it. We'd never tried this type of food ever ( believe it or not). Just not for us - but please don't walk past - it's worth calling in.

Most of the dishes are very good. Gave my stepdad his first ever snus (nicotine pouch) in here and he had a total whitey. Staff were very nice and let him lay down and contemplate life. Will be back, with more snus.

Great spot for Mexican food. Margaritas were good and the nachos were excellent. Come hungry - they were huge.

Fun, cosy and welcoming mexican tapas. Booked and early spot through first table and had the most wonderful mexican brunch. We opted for the Festive Table - each course was delivered fresh with staff fully explaining all the ingredients and flavours. The Sprout Tacos have to be my fave - well worth a festive visit 🎄

This place is a 10/10! Our evening was truly one of the best we’ve had in a while. Sophie was so lovely, attentive and welcoming she honestly made our evening. She mentioned to us that today was only her second shift working at Madre, and she went above and beyond to give us the best experience! Food was easily the best Mexican we ever had. The meat was so tender, the guacamole incredible and the vibes simply immaculate. HIGHLY recommend this place :)
