Needed a place to stop for lunch on the way back from Tennessee to Michigan. It had to have beer (for me) and it had to have vegan options (for my daughter). This place checked off the boxes and then some. BEAUTIFUL building and outdoor space. Perhaps one of my top 3 outdoor spaces I've ever visited. Beer was fairly solid and the pizza was pretty good.

Google
Loved this place!! It was our 1st time there and loved the lively atmosphere and selection of craft beers, ciders and variety for anyone. We also ate a Philly Cheesesteak sandwich and it was fresh and tasty! Highly recommend!!

Google
We had such a great evening at MadTree. We were initially wondering if we needed to make a reservation since that was an option, but we decided to pop in and check it out without a reservation. It was busy, and the parking lot was full, but this place is HUGE. There was some sort of event happening as well as tons of indoor seating and, our favorite, outdoor seating. Placing the order from your table was kinda fun and then venturing to the bar to get drinks led to a nice conversation with the bartender about the beer options. We each had a flight that we enjoyed. We split the wedge salad which, while it wasn't actually a a wedge (it's chopped romaine), was delicious. And the pizza we shared was great. It was a really fun evening. My only complaint, and it's so minor, is that we tipped when we ordered our food, but I'm not sure what we actually received. We got our own drinks, gathered our own plates, utensils & napkins, and were told to bus our own table when we were done. So, I tipped 25% for someone to carry out a pizza and a salad. That seems silly. Even with that in mind, though, this is somewhere we would eat again.

Google
We went into the MadTree Brewing and we were told to find a table to sit at. You need to pull up the QR code on the table to order the food. You need to walk up to the bar to order drinks. The food was ok. MadTree is more for beers and alcoholic drinks. It is a very clean and friendly place. I appreciated the sign on the wall, dogs are allowed but only outside. Thank you from someone who is allergic to dogs.

Google
My first visit, I was not impressed. However, this visit was for a gender reveal party. The service was attentive and the bar tenders were nicer than last time. The food was satisfactory- the chicken tenders were burnt and dry. Of course, this isn’t a fancy restaurant. Overall, Mad Tree Brewery was fine.

Google
really loved this place. in good weather, the vibes are immaculate. great bistro food, wings were 8/10, nachos was 10/10. some great selection of beers. definitely recommend. best spot i visited in the queen city

Google
I hosted my mom’s 70th birthday party here and it was perfect! From setting up our reservation with Bryan to the excellent service the day of our event, everything was top notch and professional! The staff went above and beyond to make sure all our needs were met. The atmosphere was fun and laid-back but very professional. The food was delicious! They offered a great variety of appetizers and pizzas and were very efficient at bringing everything out. I highly recommend having your event here! Thank you Bryan, Grant, and all the staff for taking such good care of us!

Google
Stopped by for lunch, thinking I’d get some of their delicious pizza. I was pleased to find out they have limited time Fish Fry going on, so I decided to give it a try. Definitely recommend. I very much appreciate that this option was available. Good service, good food, good vibes. Love MadTree

Yelp
great food great service and kitchen was well organized and brought food out quickly. setting makes the experience complete.

Yelp
Such an awesome spot. The outside area is amazing and I love that it is dog & family friendly. Their beer flights are a great option, especially when you go for the first time. They had a really good Mexican lager that I enjoyed. Next time I'm looking forward to trying their food.

Yelp
Great ambiance and pretty good food! We came to MadTree for a casual dinner and had a wonderful time sitting at the bar. Service was fast and friendly. The cocktails were tasty but prebatched - which I find to end up being too sweet. The food was good, fried pickles, giant pretzel, wings, and pizzas all came out hot and flavorful. The pizzas have a bread-ier crust, which was good but ended up a little heavy when paired with the fried foods. The cheese sauce with the pretzel was definitely the fan favorite! Overall great spot and everyone seemed to be having a great time!

Lauren F.

Yelp
Natalie was helpful! I went with friends and it's the perfect setting because they offer inside and outside seating. Fries are good with their house sauce. Pizza and wings can be good too!

Yelp
First time going to MadTree and vibes were great! Lots of indoor and outdoor seating options. Perfect for both work and social events. Had a mocktail which tasted great, and they had a lot of drink options on their menu. Service was great and came to check on us often. Also ordered the buffalo chicken pizza which was good and huge portions.

Yelp
This place never disappoints us... beer is excellent.... Service is very good and the atmosphere is fun. This is one brewery you should check out. Have a pizza and some beers. Fun place for sure. Parking on site.

Yelp
Came here on a Saturday afternoon for a birthday party. This place was super busy and there were so many people here, parking was a little bit tough. The location itself is in a nice area and the beer that they had was plenty and exactly what you expected at a brewery. I forgot to take the pictures of the pizza but they had a variety of pizzas and they all were really good variety of toppings. Good place for a group to come and hang out. Just make sure if you have a large group you make a reservation and in advance.
google avatar

Yelp
The food at every madtree is mediocre at best. The atmosphere and patio are the best things about this place. The beer is good but nothing special. There are no waitresses so you have to order at the bar and order the food on your phone to get delivered to your table. The food is the only thing holding this place back from being great.
google avatar

John S.

Yelp
Great service and friendly staff. Drinks were pretty good even if they were on the pricier side. Due to the weather, the heaters were on and helped fight the cold in the covered section that was open. Some tables needed to be cleaned so seating was slightly restricted.

Yelp
MadTree is super close to me and I love going there with my family. They are super nice and welcoming, and offer recommendations when you're unsure. The beer is approachable for inexperienced drinkers, offering a wide variety. I could sit on their patio all day eating their nachos, they might be the best I have ever had. Incredible!
google avatar

Yelp
It was a really nice day out, so we thought Mad Tree might be swamped, but we were pleasantly surprised that they were not at all. There was plenty of parking in the front and we noticed later that there is overflow parking in the back as well. They have a large patio area that's really cute, most of the tables are under a covered roof or have a large umbrella. There were regular tables and chairs along with picnic tables as well. There was a nice sized bar outside and one on the inside as well. We had been out in the heat, so opted to eat in the AC. We got beers and a few apps. The pretzel was huge and tasty with cheese dip and whole grain mustard. The wings were small but very tasty.

Yelp
Went to Madtree for Dinner with my mom and we got the fried chicken sandwiches with a side of the chopped wedge salad. The salad was amazing!! The chicken sandwiches were also really good. My mom and I had very quick service since you order on your phones and they bring it out to when the food is ready. The establishment was packed and they were having trivia that night!! The ambiance was amazing! Overall would come again!!

Yelp
Have been to Mad Tree countless times and really enjoy it. Went on Friday night to try their new menu for the first time. Loved the food when catch-a-fire was operating. The new menu is pretty expansive with a lot more offerings. We had the bbq wings which were nice and saucy. The pepperoni pizza was good, nice thin crust with small pepperoni cups. It was a little bit too greasy though. Beer as always is great. Customer service is also always great. The parking is tough during prime time hours. Vibes were good with reds on tv. Great crowds.
google avatar

Mike B.

Yelp
Easy ordering thru an app. Food pickup at the window with bussing from your table pretty promptly to keep the tables clear for people. We shared a long table with others and it worked out fine.
google avatar

Yelp
Love this place! Great brewery that also offers some booze options too. Better than average bar food, including a fantastic wide fired pizza and our salad was good as well. Good service and nice decor both indoor and out! Their beer garden is dog friendly as well.

Yelp
VEGAN REVIEWS our daughter just moved to Cincy, this place is close to her place. we needed an option that had vegan options-- did not disappoint! we sat outside. super fun vibe, love all the dogs & games. really packed, but the service was FAST & friendly. the food portions are MASSIVE. we had nachos & pizza-- it's not widely advertised, but they have vegan cheese as an option. tasty! additional protein options + dessert would get them the 5th star. drinks were also great.

Yelp
The new kitchen inside MadTree opened last weekend after Catch-a-Fire moved out at the start of this year. My family and I are big fans of Catch-a-Fire, so we were sad when this all went down, but the food coming out of the MadTree kitchen is a solid replacement. We started with an order of cheesy bread, topped with garlic butter, mozzarella, and parmesan served with red sauce and ranch ($9). There are four slices in the serving, enough for each of our family members to try a slice. Nothing crazy here, but solid bread and good sauce to go with it. We also tried the fries with Happy Amber BBQ and ranch ($10). This was a massive serving of fries and their BBQ sauce is great. My favorite of the day was definitely the tasty taco pizza topped with taco sauce, cheddar, chipotle chicken, pico de Gallo, Doritos, guacamole, and crema ($17.25 for the 12-inch). The flavor combination on this was superb and I was happy that this was served with chicken rather than the more common ground beef for a taco pizza. I will absolutely order this again as it is unique and tastes great! Our kids enjoyed the cheesy cheese pizza ($11.50 for 12-inch). My son said it's not as good as Catch-a-Fire, but I stole a slice and found it to be a pretty good slice of plain pie. Overall the serving sizes are large, with the 12-inch pizza being more than enough for 2 to split. There are six pretty big slices, so it could be possible to share with 3 people and a snack on the side, depending on the hunger of the group.

Yelp
This was our first visit to Madtree brewing and loved the ambiance and dog friendliness. The beer and cocktail selection is quite a variety and their food especially pizzas were yummy! Highly recommend and will be revisiting soon.

Yelp
Such a cute place! It was packed when we went, but service was relatively quick considering. It was a bit expensive, but the giant pretzel was very good. My one complaint is the QR code ordering. I prefer physical menus usually, but it was still a good time!

Yelp
Nice place for drinks Nice attention to details Good atmosphere Food is good If like craft beers You found the place

Yelp
We have tried several times to try this brewery it is usually packed. Today was our lucky day not busy at all, plenty of seating indoors and out. I love the feel of this place with the garden wall and all the seating. Very relaxed family friendly place. The crowd was all over the place from a new born at the table next to us to people in their 70's attending a birthday party. Cool inside with a nice selection of beers. As my usual I grabbed a flight and the bartender made excellent suggestions. The beer was of course good. We grabbed a couple of food items the Giant pretzel and the mustard dipping sauce was fantastic. The wings were basic bar wings cooked well and traditional buffalo sauce. Both hit the spot. Overall a fun place and we will be back.

Yelp
IT'S LONG BUT READ IT!!!!! Long time coming...been a regular at 1.0 (original brewery) then regulars at 2.0 (existing brewery) had the first beers served. Seen quite a few changes over the years. (The brewery scene is not what it was). Seen staff come n go. We went through a lean time where the food just wasn't worth going as often. BUT NOW the food is awesome n we're back w a vengeance!!! Have a great time w the bartenders as we always have. For us it's nice to be back home!!! Thanks Kenny n Brady for fixing things! Do yourself a favor and visit! There's something for everyone! CHEERS! JC

Yelp
Really good beer and really awesome space. We've been here so many times. I always stick to psychopathy but it was so hot I wanted something lighter. Ahuevo reminded me of a Corona and was so refreshing! They sell these in 6 packs . The Skygazer reminded me of a blue moon and super refreshing for this weekend. I love how family friendly the patio is and you can bring dogs. One of the managers offered my kids crayons and coloring pages; really thoughtful gesture! Next time we will stay for food; the pizzas looked great and it looked like plenty of kid friendly options!
google avatar

Aubrie H.

Yelp
So much amazing outdoor space! We were excited to visit and enjoy the area, especially because we could bring our dogs. There is also plenty of seating inside if you prefer. There was a food truck available when we visited so we were able to grab some snacks with our samples. They have so many different types of beer to choose from and multiple signature cocktails too. We tasted a couple of the cocktails and they were delicious. Great place to stop by for a drink or spend the afternoon.

Yelp
A visit to MadTree is always a good idea - especially when that visit is paired with some Knotty Bread from Catch-a-Fire Pizza. MadTree is exactly the kind of community spot every neighborhood needs. This brewery has something for everyone - and they're doing it so well. A group of friends and I stopped in on a Sunday for a few hours of board games - and we were surrounded parties of all ages having fun inside and out. The beer is always phenomenal, and I usually make it a point to try something new each time I come in. On our most recent visit, I quite enjoyed the "Mangos Attack!" as well as the "Fiesta Forever." MadTree does a great job of tapping something for everyone -- and their new seltzers are just the thing for any non-beer drinkers in your group. We had great bar service throughout our visit -- and even received some awesome recommendations from one of the bartenders. MadTree is a must-visit for locals and out-of-towners alike!

Yelp
This is a Cincinnati must stop!! We loved our experience here and would highly recommend checking it out if you're looking for something to do in the area. It was New Year's day so it was pretty slow/empty, but the atmosphere was still lively yet relaxing. There were families playing cards, people watching the game, grabbing a drink after work, it seemed very welcoming for everyone! We sat at the bar and I got a Boysen The Hood beer then a FireFly Nightlight- both so good! My friend got a Sangria- also great! The bartenders were helpful & the hostess was very welcoming. We didn't plan on staying for too long but ended up hanging out and watching the game for awhile. This was a Cincinnati highlight, would highly recommend!
google avatar

Doug K.

Yelp
The space here is awesome! They have a massive indoor area and a really nice outdoor area when it's nice out as well. Plenty of parking which is awesome too. Service is easy at either the indoor or outdoor bar. They had a restaurant inside but this is currently being renovated I believe. I REALLY want to like their beer more than I do, but I just haven't had any beers here that I love. This is the only reason for the 4 stars. They have a nice selection with good variety, I just don't love what they brew. They also have THC seltzers, cocktails, and non-alcoholic options. It's a cool spot to check out though for a drink!
google avatar

Emma F.

Yelp
A cincinnati classic. Great spot to hang out outside during the summer, and is a fun place to watch a bengals game in the winter! I'm not a huge beer drinker, but they've got great fruitier options as well as some cocktails. And the food options are great as well! Love it here.

Yelp
MadTree Brewing's Oakley Taproom is a must visit for any craft beer enthusiast. One of the things that sets MadTree apart is their commitment to quality and innovation. They offer an impressive selection of beers, ranging from classic staples like IPAs and stouts to more experimental brews such as the THC Seltzer and Moscow Mule. Whether you're craving something hoppy and bitter or smooth and malty, you're sure to find a beer that satisfies your taste buds. The taproom itself is open and inviting, with plenty of seating options and a laid-back vibe that makes it the perfect spot to unwind with friends. Plus, the staff are always friendly and knowledgeable, eager to help you navigate their extensive beer menu. But MadTree is more than just a brewery - it's also a community hub. They host regular trivia nights, live music, and beer releases, drawing in locals and visitors alike. It's the kind of place where you can strike up a conversation with a stranger over a pint of their latest brew and leave feeling like you've made a new friend. During my trip I ordered their Rocket Pop Sway which is a vodka soda and tastes a lot like a bomb pop popsicle. I also got one of their pizzas and their cheesy bread which were amazing. Make sure to try out their fried pickles too!
google avatar

Lucy B.

Yelp
Love this place! Come every few weeks to cozy up by the fire with a beer or sway (grapefruit and ginger is my fav!) and some yummy pizza! Tried their pizza week pizzas and both were excellent. Lines were pretty long at the bar but luckily we got a seat at the bar so service was so quick! Be back soon!
google avatar

Scott B.

Yelp
Upgraded food options. Wide selection of great MadTree beers. Excellent vibe. A little pricey but worth it. Service is super friendly.

Patrick Q.

Yelp
OMG!!! Most amazing brewery!! I'm an IPA SNOB & their IPA's are stellar!! Brewery atmosphere & setting were equally as great! But my fav experience was their customer service. I interacted with GM Bryan. As a customer service mngr of 31yrs experience, I was outdone. Bryan exceeded my expectations & searched all over for a collectible I was looking for, a wooden nickel from the brewery. He then proceeded to check the back room for a tin tacker I was interested in. Bryan definitely went the extra mile!! Love it when people treat you as if you're their Family! Great experience here! Will definitely come back and refer my friends. Thank you!!

Yelp
This was an interesting experience- we had about 15 people amd were able to enjoy a gorgeous May Day on the patio outside. Dogs welcome outside and there's plenty of space. The food was good - many kindeof nachos that were insanely loaded! They come out on a pan that is about 8x11 - share! Amazing fried pickles and pizza too! Craft beer was great and the mixed drink choices were unique and delicious. The only down side is that if you weren't a little savvy, and couldn't open the QR code and order from your phone (think grandparents ) , there's really no service. You order and pay from your phone, where you also pre-add your tip. Then you separately self serve order your drinks and pay at the bar. The only time you see someone at your table Is when the food is dropped off. Very much a fend for yourself place, but if you're good with that, it's food and drink worth the trip.

Yelp
We went to mad tree for our first time and had such a great experience. We had a hard time deciding on which pizza to get. The manager, Natalie, was super helpful and explained each one in detail. We settled on the caprese. It was so good! The fried basil was a fun added texture. This place is great for a date night or even a party with a large group. We will be back
google avatar

Farrah R.

Yelp
Really cool hangout spot with a HUGE space, indoor and outdoor. They have a ton of parking to accommodate the space. They have a QR code at every table, so ordering is pretty easy. The food itself is fine, nothing I would crave but they've got a decent menu with lots of pizza options. I would recommend the Very Veggie and Crafted Caprese. The pickle chips and fries are crispy too! It's a great place to go to if you have a big group. 5/5 for the ambiance but wish the food was better.
google avatar

Beth M.

Yelp
Food is good, love the outdoor space, the drinks and beer! Great place to hang out with a small or large crew or private events. Love the merch too!
google avatar

Noah C.

Yelp
Arguably the best brewery in the city. On a sunny day expect every table outside to be occupied as this place is extremely popular. Great beer, great pizza, great vibes!
google avatar

Monique L.

Yelp
Such a COOL place! The aesthetic was beautiful and at the same time so chill and full of cool vibes. The food was absolutely delicious and we left so full. Got some yummy apps, but the one who stood out the most was their great pizza! I had to do a personal half and half to be able to try two kinds! Did not disappoint. Now... their drinks. WOW. Love that they have beer AND cocktails on tap, as well as a few others they make. Such a great variety. It was overall such a cool place to visit and I absolutely loved it. Could've stayed here for hours just hanging out with friends. Please go check this place out!
google avatar

Colleen O.

Yelp
Loved my beer! Great environment! Sad to see that their menu design changed from the fun chalk board menu to printer paper pinned up. Recommend!
google avatar

Jeff A.

Yelp
The food is great. I most recently had the mexican styled pizza and it had fantastic crust and great flavor. And the staff are all nice. When the weather is good, it's hard to beat having pizza and nachos outside.
google avatar

Mary Kate E.

Yelp
This place is huge, and the vibe doesn't fall short of huge as well. My husband and I came here to meet some friends. We arrived around 11pm with the last call happening just a few before midnight. We enjoyed their drinks + the pizza. If you want some good pizza, look no further. It makes for a great second meal after an earlier night of drinking if you need to put something on your stomach. I think you should plan for this to be a dine and drink place rather than just coming for drinks even though it is a brewery. Funny enough, they're a full service bar that also offers liquor. I haven't been to any 'breweries' where they serve tequila next to their beers. Customer service was pleasant, bathrooms were clean, and parking is limited, but we secured a spot without issue.
google avatar

Marieke S.

Yelp
Great spot to hang out with a variety of options. We loved the pizza joint next door but unfortunately it was their last month in the space.
google avatar

Jeremy M.

Yelp
Such a cool spot with plenty of options for everyone. We tried both their beers and seltzers and were happy with everything. If you're into plants then you'll love the giant plant wall and the rest of the stuff growing all around the brewery. We came in winter so the outside patio bar was covered (and heated) but would be a great spot for a summer evening!
google avatar

Matt S.

Yelp
Always a cool location. With jungle interior, huge patio space outdoors, wrap around bar in the middle serving inside and out. Friendly bartenders, cozy spots, and brewery dogs galore. The food past and present is consistently good (although can take a bit of time depending on the crowd).
google avatar

Jessica B.

Yelp
I came in on a whim thanks to Yelp to watch a World Cup game since I was in the area. Wow. This is an awesome spot. It had a lot of seating and I really liked that there was a little quick service area for food. There were a lot of beers to choose from and I really liked the selection...they even had craft cocktails on tap which was cool. The bartenders were friendly and looked like they were having fun. I can definitely see why this is such a popular spot.
google avatar

Stephanie K.

Yelp
This place has some really great pizzas! I'm not a big fan of beers but my partner loves breweries so here we are. I love the vibe of this place; casual but really cool people. They only had two mock tails and I had the strawberry basil one. They have some really nice hoppy beers and will let you try samples. If I'm ever in Cincinnati, I'd probably come back!
google avatar

Kimberly B.

Yelp
I will always think of MadTree as our welcoming to Cincinnati! I'm not sure what's not to like about this place - it's pretty awesome. But before I tell you why it's awesome, let me get personal for a minute. Grab a beer and bare with me. Many months ago my husband and I were considering moving to Ohio and took a road trip here from Washington. We visited most of Ohio and Indiana and for some reason Cinci just had the vibe we were looking for. So how does MadTree play into this story? On our trip we happened by MadTree right before we left to return back to Washington. We were enjoying our beer and good service at the bar with laid back bartenders who welcomed and answered questions about their beer and gave advice. We enjoyed some flights and took up some small conversations with people next to us as well as the bartenders. Towards the end of that visit we told the bartender about our journey and decision to possibly move here! He not only gave us a warm welcome but took off one of our flights from our bill. We said our thanks and goodbyes with a "well hope we see you again soon if we move here!" Fast forward to the present (hope you grabbed that beer): we did it! We finally moved here and what was one of the first things we did? Yup, went to MadTree! Now it has been a couple months and MadTree has a lot of staff and different bartenders working, so we were not expecting to see our guy or even be remembered. But what do you know? "Hey were you guys here a couple months back, thinking of moving here?" We were delighted that it was our guy and remembered us! He even gave us a shot of beer along with nearby bartenders to welcome us! It really is the little things. Thank you MadTree! Okay now the more detailed review! The place is huge! Holds a lot of people, tons of parking in back and some in front. This place can get pretty packed. They have large event rooms for special occasions, outside bar with large patio with plenty of seating with shade. Also have live music outside often. Great space for kids and dogs. Inside has plenty of seating as well as some really cool merchandise. Beer is tasty and they have many different styles plus mixed drinks. Food, oh you are in for a treat! Catch-a-Fire Pizza is a restaurant that has a couple locations in town, and one happens to be inside MadTree. Delicious food from pizza, wings and salads that all pairs well with MadTree's beer! Over all this is a great place to meet friends, family, clubs, bring the kids and dogs, all the while enjoying yourself with good beer and food. I will admit the beer varies from okay to pretty good, I have some that I really like and others still figuring out. I would give the brewery a 4 star, but with adding in everything MadTree has to offer I feel it deserves a 5 star! Cheers!

Yelp
I love coming here whether it's after work or a date. I can always count on a good drink and the service to match. I'm sad to learn the pizza spot is moving out, but hopefully they can get another restaurant in there soon. It's a great place to hang, especially on the patio when it's warm out.

Yelp
Madtree has the best gluten-free pizzas in the city, hands down! The staff is knowledge and take precautions to avoid cross-contamination. All pizzas were good, but I actually preferred the gluten free crusts. You will not be disappointed!
