The Devar Mess near the High Court offers excellent authentic South Indian non-vegetarian food, with a wide variety of dishes available at very reasonable prices. I tried their meals, paya, and chicken, and overall, the taste was good. However, there is a significant lack of hygiene in the kitchen. Some of the men cooking were shirtless, wearing only lungis, which feels awkward, especially considering that many women frequent the restaurant. This is an area that urgently needs improvement. While the food and prices are satisfactory, maintaining better hygiene standards would enhance the overall experience.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Madurai Sri Thevar Hotel in Parrys offers truly amazing non-veg special dishes. The taste, quality, and aroma are exceptional. Chicken and mutton dishes are served with superb flavor and on time. The service is friendly, the hotel is clean, and prices are reasonable. A must-visit place for a delightful meal!

Honest review!! The food was average but the people who treats you there are the best in this place and we love it ❤️ We can see the pure affection on serving and the service they give will not be the artificial one! That'll be natural one... Love their affection which we experienced only for 30 minutes but that gave us pure bliss of the hectic day!

Overall the restaurant was decent and the food was good. They have different varieties of non veg items and all of them are decent. Food Quality - It is a non veg restaurant and they have all the options starting from Fish, Crab, Chicken, Mutton, Prawns, Squid, Duck, etc., We ordered non veg meals that had rice and non veg curries. They display all the starters in a tray and you can choose from them we ordered prawns and Nethili fry. I personally liked Nethili fry and chicken curry. Prawns was not that great and their duck omelet was good as well 👍🏼 Portion Size and Price - It is unlimited meals with non veg curry for 100 rupees (pretty cheap) starter portion size was decent for the price range not expensive. Service - Their service was really good very attentive waiters and waitress Kasthuri Amma a special mention. Ambience - It was ok not a great ambience but given the location and the restaurant size I can say ignore but if you are choosy about the ambience maybe you might not find it good. Location- A good restaurant to explore if you are in North Chennai. It’s in the busy area of the Parrys and the restaurant is pretty hard to find since the entry is narrow however google helped us and they have sign boards as well so you should find it without hassle. Note since the road is narrow parking could be challenging.

All type of south India non veg food and gravy available at very affordable cost. Taste is awesome. Service is at its best. Must try for nonveg lovers.

Got review, from Ontario, Canada. Had one chkn biryani and brain fry.. non veg , parcel along nethli fry. Total cost close to 650/-Don't go by reviews pls... . Not worth... Salty nethli fry n parcel gravy are not to say.. . If thy and return my money, atleast. 400/- . Wl be great.

I have heard about this hotel before but now only I had visited. Hotel situated in first floor. I had parotta,chicken biriyani, nethili fry and goat liver fry. Parotta and liver fry was good but chicken biriyani is not worthless, nethili fry also not good. They serve food and show side dishes in a cool way.

I would say One of the best non veg meals which I have tried so far I keep telling how I missed this hotel being a chennai guy Just tried their non veg unlimited meals comes with chicken fish prawn and nandu and mutton gravy final touch with rasam and unlimited buttermilk and sides which I had is prawn 65 and boatty pepper masala and had empty egg briyani Non veg meals unlimited 100 Empty egg briyani 130 Prawn 65 - 130 Boatty pepper fry - 130 overall cost around 490 i would say very much worth and all the non veg gravy has different masala too Service in hotel also very good compared too other hotels which I tried recently Just visited one more time this time tried they suraa puttu & mutton chukka
