Mae was an experience! The food, the wine pairings, the atmosphere, the amazing recommendations from Julien who took time to give us information about everything we ate and drank. My favourite was the creamy hake pie 🤤 Everything was cooked to perfection. Perfect date night or place to take clients you’d like to impress. I’d definitely be back 🫶🏾❤️

Loved our experience at Mae restaurant. I have got the vegetarian menu and I was really surprised by the flavours of the plates. I also ordered the non alcoholic aperitifs and was exceptional.

Everything exceptional! The ambience, the service, everything was amazing. The non-alcoholic cocktail was a beautiful surprise and Julian's suggestions were always on point. I will definitely come back.

Excellent set menu. The quality of all of the courses was excellent and the staff were very attentive and knowledgeable. The venue is small and unfortunately for us, the atmosphere was ruined by a lady on a table of 5, who liked the sound of her own voice for the 2 hours we were there. Not the restaurants fault, but I'd recommend asking for a table away from the door, where the bigger table is, if you're looking for a more intimate ambience.

I stumbled upon this French wine store and decided to stay for dinner. So glad I did. It was a night with a “guest” chef, who was amazing. The fixed menu with wine pairing was such an amazing experience! The buttery liver spread, the fresh asparagus, amazing fish and perfect duck. The service and wine pairings were incredible. I can’t wait to come back with my spouse for an experience with the resident chef! Chef Adam rocks!

Amazing experience overall. The front of the house just puts you at ease (julien) very knowledgeable do not hesitate to ask for drink recommendations. Food is well thought out from flavour to texture just amazing use of ingredients. The restaurant is in a busy area parking could be hectic alternatively public transport is frequent in the area.

Went here for the first time almost three years ago and couldn’t wait to get back, but I had to! It was immediately my favourite restaurant and retains the title. I can’t praise the food, wine, service and atmosphere enough. This place is a gem.
