Mae Sa Waterfall

This place was absolutely stunning! Worth the drive and easy to find. There were 10 layers of waterfalls and it varied from easy to slightly difficult hike. Bring bug spray, a towel and a swimsuit! We spent a few hours just hanging out at different parts of the waterfall. You also can buy one ticket and it gets you into the other waterfalls. We took a car and paid 30 baht to park, 100 baht for foreigners to enter. Loveddddd it will definitely go back!

I recently visited Maesa Waterfall in Chiang Mai, and it turned out to be one of the most beautiful and unique waterfall experiences I’ve ever had. What makes Maesa truly special is that it’s not just one waterfall — it’s a series of 10 different waterfalls, each with its own charm, flow, and natural pool. I’ve never seen anything like it! The entire area is well-maintained and easy to explore. Each waterfall has a calm pool at the base where people were swimming, relaxing, or simply sitting and soaking in the peaceful surroundings. I saw families having picnics, couples relaxing, and travelers enjoying the cool water. Despite being popular, the place didn’t feel overcrowded — it had a lovely, laid-back vibe. The entry fee was just 100 Baht, and there’s a 30 Baht parking fee, which felt completely reasonable considering how much beauty you get to experience. You can easily spend a few hours here if you want to visit all the waterfalls, swim, or just unwind in nature. If you’re in Chiang Mai and want a serene, scenic, and refreshing escape, Maesa Waterfall is a must-visit. It’s a perfect blend of adventure, nature, and falls. Highly recommended. 🤌🏻🤌🏻

Beautiful 10 waterfalls. You’ll get a little workout in but it’s paved and not too too steep. I did it in sandals.

10 tiers of waterfall of strong current when I went. Not sure what others see but I saw a new Eden of new earth. This whole region is very well PROTECTED by the spirit and the high sangha.

Very well maintained with signs and cleaning. The waterfall itself is beautiful and we are able to follow the trail to the top.

Great place to visit if you are in Chiang Mai 10 sets of different waterfalls beautiful area some parts can be a little bit Slippy when wet wear sensible shoes

🌿 Shady trail with lots of trees, cool air, and moss. The path is clean and stable, but wear good shoes. You’ll enjoy great waterfall views along the way.
