Maenam Beach

Perfect beach, stayed here during a crazy storm but it was still really beautiful to take walks along and watch the sunset on 🌴✨️☀️🙌 Really a lot more quiet then other beaches too which is so nice!

Really pretty quiet beach. Lovely bars and restaurants. We saw very few people , off the beaten track so involved some effort to get there , but well worth it .

Maenam Beach Review Maenam Beach is a quiet and comfortable place to relax. The water is clear, the sand is soft, and there are no crowds. Unlike other beaches, there’s no sunset view here, but the atmosphere is peaceful and perfect for a calm getaway. Great for those who prefer a more private and relaxing beach experience.

Probably most of it is rather clean and cared for since sections of the beach are being maintained by the adjacent hotels. The sections that are being vacant, further down the beach close to the Lomprayah pier, are a complete nightmare. There’s trash everywhere. Nobody feels responsible because the hotel owners don’t look right or left. Also there’s plastic glitter everywhere, probably from New Year’s. I am baffled how you could use glitter when you’re next to the sea and the majority ends up in water. It’s quite cynical when you’re at the pier and there’s banners asking for eco-friendly packaging due to trash. And then the whole beach looks like the pics attached. I think we might have seen a few people doing an effort cleaning up but if it wasn’t for the tourists, there wouldn’t be clean beaches at all.

Beautiful, super quiet beach lined with palm trees. Best vibes! The water is also nice to swim in, a little bit cloudy but still clear and nice colour (if it was crystal clear I'd give a 5 star). Cooler in the mornings but still nice for a dip in the day and arvo. Beautiful views of Koh Phangan and Koh Tao also. Great place to stay for accommodation also away from the hustle and bustle!

There's no doubt that this is the quietest main beach on Samui. There is no person in sight at all, other than a couple of guys bringing out their dogs out for a walk. The sand is a little more on the coarser side, so it may not be the most comfortable to lie on, although there are hotels and resorts where one can stay along to relax without getting sandy. The beach is relatively clean but it can get narrow at certain stretches, so abit too near to the waves to lie down. You'll have to bring your own mat cause there are none laid down by any accommodation on the sandy beach. Although very beautiful, one will feel a bit solitary lying there alone, unless you're specifically looking for something like that. There is nary a pub, cafe or drinking place on the stretch, so that contributes to the quietude you'll definitely get when you're around.

Quiet beach. Sand is good as well. Tourist are also less. But water was not that clean and it is very steep, so gets deep suddenly. Not much swimmable. So enjoy time outside and leave

So peaceful here.. loved it! Less tourist.. take your beach towel and choose a spot/resort to stay..chill and enjoy 🏖️
