This is truly one of my favorite Korean restaurants. We went on a odd time so it wasn’t so busy. The food was great and the service was beyond amazing. The server cooked and cut most of all the meats so not too much work for us. Thank you, we will be back soon. I forgot to mention the place was spotless!

Stephen Ely

Google
Absolutely fantastic food, the service is above and beyond and the price is just right. If you want some great Korean BBQ definately check this place out.

Google
Best Korean BBQ I've ever had. All the food was really good. The staff was courteous and cooked the food for us. We left very sastified and full since the meal we ordered also came with dessert.

Google
I loved this place! Delicious food, fast service, and friendly + helpful staff. We ordered the large beef combo. The kimchi was tasty and I loved the house salad. I’ll definitely go back.

Google
Had bunch of AYCE places with hour long waitlist decided to check this place out. And we were so glad we did! The Magal combo was recommended and it was magical… quality meat that just melt in your mouth and the sides, especially the salads that came together was one of the best I’ve ever had. Had some soju bombs with my date and after couple shots, I let them know was my bday and they hooked me up with a bottle! Excellent servers, great food and clean restaurant. Very happy to find this spot and will be back for sure.

Google
I love this place, best korean bbq! Food is 10/10, get the fire chicken its amazing!!!! Not too spicy, sweet, salty its amazing. The potato salad is amazing too. Oh & the servers are amazing, they're so attentive & cool. Definitely recommend & the music is great too. When you visit or live in Vegas come here.

Google
Definitely different from the usual AYCE Korean BBQ. You order ala carte from the menu. We were 2 adults and 2 kids when we dined here, and got their Magal combo for 2. It’s nice that they also have the typical korean food flairs such as japchae and tofu stews, unlike most AYCE joints. The servings were just right for us, and we ended up saving instead of paying for AYCE for the kids who wont be able to eat its worth. The servers and staff were very attentive. Social distancing and temperature checks are in place, which made us comfortable dining here. The food is great! We loved the scrambled egg cooking on the side of the hot grill. The side dishes were generous and very tasty. Definitely coming back here whenever we are in LV craving for Korean BBQ.

Google
Mahal BBQ is a great Korean BBQ restaurant especially if you want to take a break from cooking the KBBQ themselves. They are a franchise that originated from Korea. This place is not AYCE, but their combos for two are usually enough to fill us up. You can order a la carte as well. The grill has corn around the edge, along with some egg mixture that eventually cooks as your meat is being cooked on the grill. It tastes good, but I assume it's often forgotten. The quality of meat is better than your average AYCE place. Service this time around was great. It wasn't too busy around the evening time, and our server was cooking the meat and checking up on us in a very timely manner. The meat wasn't over cooked and we weren't forgotten!

Yelp
First time here and I can say it was great! The meat was well marinated and sides were made well. Atmosphere. Was really inviting. The service was excellent our server Ricardo was phenomenal with menu knowledge and also was frequent with visit to assist us. Server was great , food was great. Overall I enjoyed this location.

Yelp
This was our first and last time at this KBBQ place. The food was decent, and the lack of a line was a plus. Unfortunately, the service really brought the experience down. Our server, Ricardo, came off as judgmental and pushy, making unsolicited comments about what we ordered, how much we ordered, and suggesting what we should have picked instead. It was uncomfortable and felt condescending because he felt like a walking upsell rather than basic service. On top of that, he touched and even cut into our food while we were still eating without asking. I can't speak for the other servers, but this was hands down the worst service we've had in vegas so far. There are better restaurants nearby if you don't mind the wait.

Yelp
Bestie and i planned our usual kbbq date at this new spot. The theme and decor were really cool, bit edgy with a comic twist. We arrived at 6p and were seated right away. Parking is easy and the restaurant is easy to find. We sampled as many meats as possible. Quality was decent. Some of the more impressive cuts (ie the ribeye) didnt translate as well cooking it on the grill too. We enjoyed the variety and pricing was slightly cheaper than some of the nearby options. Very good experience and wouldnt mind trying them again.

Yelp
Mr BBQ is an All-You-Can-Eat Korean BBQ in Chinatown located across the street from Chinatown Mall. They offer a variety of menus for lunch and for dinner. Whatever you order you get all the side dishes called banchan (not all but many pickled things) and all the small plates (stuff like wontons, noodles, soups) and all the meats (on your menu) that you want. The meats you cook up in the middle of your table. It looks like Vegas Inside with a lot of Neon Inside. We so far have always gone with the starter menu (least expensive) because there is far more on it than we could ever eat anyway so why pay more. (3 beefs, 2 chicken, several porks) We both enjoyed some things more than other things. We both thought the best of the three beefs we tried was the bulgogi. The spicy chicken was also delicious and not too spicy. The Korean Fried Chicken was very good. Service was very good they kept the plates coming. Parking was easy and close.

Yelp
The food is amazingly delicious! The service is definitely great especially they are always around if you need anything. They all work as a team. The ambiance is pretty good and spacious. They would also surprise you in the end if its your birthday. We go here all the time and when there are friends or family in town, we take them here so its never a disappointment.

Yelp
This place reminds me of South Korea! The prices are NOT crazy expensive, and the good is abundant. Tons of seating available, and if you have a large group, they can accommodate. We had 6 people in our group and it wasn't an issue. The sides are your typical Korean BBQ sides offered with the meal, and refills come pretty quickly when you run out of banchan. Ambiance is casual, but make sure you don't wear white. Lol. I was so busy stuffing my face with delicious korean bbq I hadn't realized I got some on my shirt. Next time I'll know better.
google avatar

Yelp
We literally stumbled across this place by accident and it ended up being a great experience! The decor was fun with all of the neon. Our waiter Anthony gave us the low-down on what to order and how to cook it. We did the mid-price all you can eat menu, and tried teriyaki chicken, ribeye, pork belly and shrimp. The 16 different side dishes were all good! We really enjoyed our dinner.
google avatar

Yelp
Came here with some friends and got the premium selection. Definitely a place for 4 or more people. You get so much food but the tables are too small to hold it all. All the meat and sides were delicious. No forks or knives so the whole ribeye we got had to be cut with scissors. Service was friendly and very attentive. Everything came out quick and empty plates were taken away. The interrior is nice and lively. Very family friendly but a little loud since everyone is grilling their own food.

Yelp
I went here yesterday to give this place a try and I'd say it's okay. Not bad or anything but the one star off would be the meat quality. Some of them were good, some were eh. But that doesn't mean you shouldn't give this place a shot. We all have our own kbbq spot. The service here was good! Never got the server's name but he made sure my friend and I were doing ok and were attentive to us. Besides the meat part, I really liked the banchan they put out. My favorite ones would be the japchae, broccoli, salad, potato salad, and cucumber kimchi! They were so good and definitely paired well eating it with the meats. Overall, very nice inside as well. Very spacious! I'd give this place a second shot when I can! Will def be back. Ty!!

Yelp
My first time here! David and JT were awesome servers. Food was delicious and for a party of 8 we only waited 5 minutes for a table!

Yelp
It was our first time dining in at MrBBQ today, and the food was good. Nothing groundbreaking, but still tasty! There a lot of sides and comes with good appetizers. Our server Trey was great! He was extremely quick and friendly. Service was top tier and made the meal more enjoyable.
google avatar

Jaynar S.

Yelp
We had such a great experience the last time, we came back! We celebrated our son's birthday with his friends. Our server Bryant was very patient and helpful for our table of 8. Audry at the front counter was super courteous. The kids continued to order bulgogi, teriyaki chicken, pork belly. They even got a kick out of trying squid. For many, it was their first experience in Korean Barbecue and they loved it. The kids totally enjoyed the cool and hip ambiance inside. Definitely will come back!
google avatar

Jeremy T.

Yelp
Their dinner menu is a very solid value for the amount of food you get. We ordered the beef tray and were pleasantly surprised by the cuts of beef and the flavor if the marinated items. The server was on top of bis game and made sure our grill was fresh and changed it out a few times. If you have a birthday coming up, make sure you check this place out, they really know how to celebrate.

Yelp
First time visitor and enjoyed the service and meal. Parking was front row because I arrived at opening. Was greeted instantly and seated. Ordered the 1 item lunch for 18.99. Bulgogi was excellent, salad was fresh, and almost of the Korean sides were great. Cucumbers, Mac and cheese, potato salad. The only drawback for me was the volume of onions. Lots of bulgogi and salad.

Yelp
Located adjacent Shanghai Plaza at 4240 Spring Mountain Road California's Mr. BBQ entered a growing All-You-Can-Eat Korean Barbeque scene in late-2022, the term "P.A.Y.C.E." suggesting premium quality at a price of $48.99. Open 11am until 11pm or later daily, a lively atmosphere plus pop-art and booming music creating a scene completed by televisions showing sports, it was without a wait that six guests sat down to dinner where grills with hidden ventilation assure patrons won't go home smelling like smoke. Offering Soju Cocktails, Korean Beers and Soft Drinks, the former highlighted by Slushies and another thickened by Yogurt, Banchan arrives fast featuring everything from Kimchi and Sea Cucumber to airy Potato Salad and marinated Radishes. Served at a suitable pace with grills changed quickly Proteins run the gamut from Prime Ribeye to Galbi, the Wagyu Beef Tongue previously unseen but entirely delicious as was the Pork Jowl and Belly. Also conjuring up Stews and Egg Souffle, plus Offal for the brave, additional highlights include Squid and Chicken marinated in fiery Gochujang and a scoop of Ice Cream that comes just before an admittedly modest check.

Yelp
I finally got to try mr.bbq Thanked god they weren't too busy and we were seated right away. Shout out to Jusper he took care of us and was very attentive and gave amazing suggestions on what meat to try. Parking was relatively easy here since they weren't as crazy busy that night. We went for the regular dinner Ayce with so much options. Honestly what I love about this place is how they have so much sides is crazy but good crazy. When we asked for more sides they come right out with it. Our drinks were replenished on time and the dishes came out in a decent time after being requested. The meal also came with free dessert. Will definitely go back the next time I visit.

Yelp
Been here a few times and my family and I love this place. Came here again last night and the service was fantastic as always. As you enter, the space seems huge. Their decorations inside make the place colorful and lively. We were greeted by the hostess as so as we entered and we got seated immediately. I came with my family and a friend of my brother's. Their booths are roomy and comfortable to sit on. As we sat down, we were immediately greeted. We got the premium AYCE and I believe it's definitely worth it. Our favorite meats are: beef belly, the boneless short ribs, the ribeye and the scallops. This is one of the only places that I know has UNLIMITED scallops on their AYCE. Their banchan is also so amazing that you can get full from it. They offer a large variety of banchan compared to other KBBQ places. Another good perk about MR BBQ is that they offer lettuce wraps and rice paper which I love.
google avatar

Yelp
We love Mr. barbecue. I'm not sure there's many Korean barbecue places that are as great as this when you're in town you gotta stop price per bite is well worth the money! We try to visit when we are in town. Quite delicious meats, veggies and banchan sides. Service is great! Ice cream included after your meal, assuming you're not too full! Short Uber ride from strip.

Yelp
Came here to celebrate a birthday due to 888 being extremely busy with 2+ hour wait times. I checked the wait times on the app and it said there was no wait. By the time we got there it was about a 10-15 minute wait which was way better than the competition for a party of 5. Prices here were on par with most KBBQ joints. In fact I wouldn't have known about this place unless I stumbled upon it trying to find another restaurant in the vicinity. We ended up not going there because the group couldn't come to a consensus on what to eat. As fate would have it, the taxi driver dropped me off literally in the parking lot of this restaurant due to the traffic jam going into the adjacent strip mall. Staff here were quite attentive. Getting their attention as well as refills on meats was extremely fast. They also changed out the hot plates often. Literally all we wanted were the beef cuts and we pretty much devoured every single beef item on the menu, twice. Service was top notch and we got all of our drink orders/refills without delay. As it was a birthday, we told the staff the embarrass the hell out of the birthday boy. They delivered and then some but panning the multi-directional camera to the table while the wait staff sang happy birthday. Several different flavors of ice cream are included with the cost of the meal. What a great way to end the night.

Yelp
It's... okay. We were trying to get into a certain very similar KBBQ/Hot Pot place across the street and since it was the 30th there were tons of people showing up by the bus load for Chinese New Year. The wait for a lot of KBBQ restaurants was bonkers - 2 to 3 hours! (My mistake for not getting a reservation.) I saw that this place had NO line (...) and decided to redirect our party there. The place is one giant room. With nothing breaking it up. The end result? A large, loud room full of hard surfaces. There is no quiet spot, the music is loud everything is loud. (The visuals are fun, though! I love the neon!) This also creates a giant wind tunnel. When we went, even with the barbecue the place was freezing! We actually put our jackets back on! Service? Spotty. Not good. We were checked on a couple of times but considering how much service that you need to have a proper Korean barbecue spot we were basically ignored. I had to keep requesting over and over to have my water filled. The quality of the food was good, nothing really incredibly memorable but had a lot of the solid standard fare of food. Consider this a destination of your backups backups backups. It's certainly not the worst in town but it's certainly not the best.
google avatar

Mel S.

Yelp
Been coming here since they first opened in Vegas since I used to frequent the Fullerton location! Honestly, I can't go back to any other kbbq spots because I'm super loyal to Mr. BBQ. The meat quality here is always consistent as well as service and ambiance. I always get beef belly, beef tongue, and brisket. Not usually a fan of bulgogi but theirs is good! Also, as a SoCal kbbqer, they have rice paper which I always gotta have. My friends and I love coming here for birthdays to embarrass each other on their TVs and to overall have a good time!

Yelp
Went here for my son's bday dinner request and this kbbq place did not disappoint!!!! We got here on a Friday evening before 6pm and there was no wait... our server was attentive and awesome at suggesting items to order. The variety of meats is wonderful you definitely have to take the $46.99/person option so you can indulge in the marinated kalbi, ribeye and filet mignon... absolutely delicious!!!! Another favorite was the spicy marinated pork belly.., yummy!!! There's no picture of it but my boyfriend got 2 bowls of the spicy tofu soup, the flavors in it were spot on and had the perfect hint of spice where it wasn't overpowering. The tables are narrow so you're sitting really close to the grill which makes it an even warmer situation... not much you can do about it... except drink lots of cold water which they provide... We're definitely going back again!!
google avatar

Therese B.

Yelp
This place is really all about the meats!! But honestly, the squid was what we really loved in this place. Our server was really nice and attentive. The white kimchi cold noodles were ok, but the steamed egg paired well with the meats. Wish there was more appetizers. Definitely a place you wanna go with a good group!
google avatar

Aliya H.

Yelp
This place was very good! Our server was so nice and attentive the entire time. I went with a friend that enjoys Korean BBQ a few times a week at different places, so he did the ordering for us. The food was flavorful and the portions were a nice size for 2. We went around 12pm and the restaurant was mostly empty but they had some lights all around that made it seem as though things get more lively at night. They also had more of a selection of the complimentary starters than any other Korean BBQ place I've been to. I will definitely be back.
google avatar

Yelp
Jusper was fantastic!!! Highly recommend for dinner. All staff was welcoming and attentive!!!

Yelp
Restaurant week $7 off all menus is still available thru 6/13. This place is next to the Shanghai plaza, so their own parking lot is not crazy to park in. They have some items you won't see at most kbbq places, including marinated pork ribs, mussels, and soups. Our server, Treyjian (sp?), was very attentive and paid close attention to our grill change needs. Various ice cream flavors available for dessert.
google avatar

Cynthia R.

Yelp
First off I'm a basic KBBQ person I keep it simple. I was visiting Vegas and was craving KBBQ with so many options I did Russian roulette and MR. BBQ was the winner. I was serviced quick didn't wait more than five minutes and service was top notch my server Jusper was magnificent attentive through the whole time. Let's talk prices for my basic needs it exceeded my expectations I got dessert and hot green tea All included on my basic needs at a total of $26.99 less than $30 what else can I ask for if you ask me would I come again I would say hell yeah in a heartbeat.
google avatar

Rich Q.

Yelp
Place looked super cool! Well decorated with the Halloween theme. This post is mainly for the service. Although the food was good, the service just made me give this place a 5 star. Forgot his name, but dude that was jacked fit lol gave such great service. Always checking on us. Didn't write anything down and remembered everything we ordered, super attentive and kind. Only wack thing about this place was the kimchi... cmon!!!! Hahaha don't be a cheapo and just upgrade to the premium meats. Sauce up your filets and stack on the ribeyes with your occasional scallops order. Money back guaranteed! Good meat quality.

Yelp
Mr. BBQ from Fullerton to Vegas. I've heard good things for the Fullerton Mr.BBQ awhile back so I was interested to try it out. We came in at 5:30pm with 10 people on a Saturday night. We were able to get a table right away which is a plus comparing to some other bbq places in town that's 2-3 hours wait. There are a lot of tables inside with interior design that seemed a bit boring. The grill gets dirty fast so constantly need to wait for grill change. The smoke is pretty bad. My hair looks so greasy after dinner. Service: our waiter Kenny was patient and attentive to our big party. However, the food came out quite slow for the half of our table. Out of two hours dining, 40 minutes would be just waiting for food and grilled changed. Food: we got the highest tier $47 per person. I honestly don't think it's worth it. Not sure if we came on an off night since most reviews are very positive for the meat quality. Premium wagyu beef tongue tastes just like choice beef tongue. Most meats don't taste like premium at all. Scallops was good. Short rib finger was ok. There wasn't any other food offering besides steamed eggs and tofu soup other than meats. With so many kbbq choice in town, I probably won't be back soon unless it's overflow for a quicker table.
google avatar

Tawny M.

Yelp
So we stumbled upon this place by accident and I do not regret it. The service there is amazing. It's your first time they teach you how to do everything as far as cooking your meat with choices meat they recommendation I want me to get an order. this is a very nice place and the meat is very very fresh.

Yelp
Celebrating my birthday, I choose Mr. BBQ! We used the Yelp Wait List link and we were on our way. On no! The freeway was jammed. I called and explained our delay and was told, "No problem. We will be you seated when you arrive." Sho'nuf! We were seated right away and had another bombastic time!

Robert H.

Yelp
Visited on a Saturday at noon. The place was not packed yet which was nice. We went for the premium level and the meat quality was top shelf. The ribeye was amazing and that alone paid for our meal! Drinks were very fun with the light up cans and really appreciated the friendly service. The ventilation was very strong and we left the meal without our clothes smelling like bbq! Will definitely go back again and try the Fullerton location as well.
google avatar

Yelp
Absolutely love this place! Staff is very friendly and attentive. Food comes out really quick! They have a huge Banchan selection that is served with your meal! Amazing! They offer several different price options which is nice, but, if you are with a large party, everyone has to order the same option. They have a wide selection of meats and drinks to choose from. They don't have any side veggies on the menu, but, you can request it and they will gladly get you some. The restaurant is clean and neat. Mr. BBQ for the win!!! I highly recommend you try this place out! Happy eating everyone :)
google avatar

Tobias S.

Yelp
Service 5 star. Ask for Ricky best service ever. Found this place bc 888 was too long of a wait and honestly. I think it's better than 888. The food was outstanding. Great variety. The ambiance is fantastic.
google avatar

Kaitlin D.

Yelp
Excellent service and amazing quality meats! There's plenty of nice big tables so great for parties of 6+. Also tons of sides with unlimited refills.

Yelp
Yes yes yes Mr BBQ!! First off, if you haven't had beef belly have you even lived?! This has to be THE best cut for kbbq if you're looking for succulent fatty beef. It's a step above brisket forsure! I think my husband and I went 4 rounds of beef belly alone. I really like that the meat servings are smaller, It gives you the chance to taste different cuts before getting too full. I was surprised when they brought out a whole filet though, and let me tell you!!! The quality of meat here is amazing. Nothing but a touch of salt, and the natural tender beef flavor was so good! I say take advantage of the most expensive tier, I could've gone for another filet or a ribeye but I know my husband would've tapped out quickly after that lol. We arrived just around 5pm on a Friday, and It was before the dinner rush. Service was there when needed, kept the meat orders coming out steadily. I also noticed that they had great ventilation. It didn't smell like overwhelming smoke and bbq. I didn't walk out smelling like everyone knew what I had for dinner. Great playlist of music too btw! Mr BBQ, is all about the MEATS. You won't find a menu of appetizers here like a lot of other AYCE spots, but they had a great variety of really good banchan. The key to kbbq is taking your time, order 2-3 meats. Start with the non marinated so you don't burn your grill too quickly. Cut into the beef with the variety of banchan. My husband noted that even their rice was good and perfectly cooked lol. Pro-tip, order your meat starting from most expensive to least expensive so you eat your moneys worth hahaha. We'll definitely be back, I need to bring my dad here because he shares my same love for beef and steaks.

Yelp
I hate giving less than great reviews, but I have to be honest. I went here when they first opened and it was popping, meat quality was top, service was on point, and all tables were full. The second time we went (which I'm reviewing today) was lackluster. It was the overall experience. Upon walking in, we were seated quickly, there were several tables open around 7:30pm. Service was the main thing, forgotten orders and items, bussers and other servers were taking our orders, delayed card processing and the meat quality was also not as good (as I recalled). I was disappointed and let down tbh I was raving about this KBBQ place to my boyfriend for months and when we finally had a chance to go, it really fell flat. By the end of the night neither of us were all that impressed. In this town there are hundreds of decent and very top KBBQ restaurants. Of all things to make a spot stand out it's their meat quality first then service. Interior is bright, a lot of use of strong visual graphics and neon lights. It's supposed to be a fun themed restaurant. The final thing to share, I have never worked in food service, but I have friends and family that do. I appreciate the amount of hard work it takes, but it really does make or break the dining experience.

Shakira H.

Yelp
We arrived as they open. The service was amazing our server Kenda was adjusted a great like he was made sure we had everything we needed very attentive to us and we got the Mr. barbecue sojo cans. Those are amazing.
google avatar

Frances R.

Yelp
The slowest service ever!!!! Don't waste your money!!! They ran out of cooked rice what kind of Asian place runs out of cooked rice so we had to wait for them to cook more and it was a Friday. We had a party of 8. They only served from one side of the table. We kept having to tell them to size both sizes. Every order of meat took 20-25mins to come and this is decent size place with 6 servers maybe more and there was only 4 other tables and us. So disappointing will not be going back!!!

Yelp
I wanted to check out 888 Japanese bbq but the wait lists closes before you can get on it and it is always busy so we come here as back up which never disappoints! We were greeted and sat quickly as there was no wait for a Saturday afternoon which was really nice. I forgot our waiters name but he was friendly and attentive. We ordered the $28.99 pp menu. We got the brisket, beef belly and thinly sliced pork belly. All the meats were really good, just kind of wish there was a little bit more fat in the brisket as some other places have a little bit better quality of that's but still good nonetheless. They give you lots of sides which most were really good. The place is big and good for large parties. We would definitely come back here in the future.

Mark L.

Yelp
Came here on a whim. What a great surprise. There are MANY AYCE Korean BBQ around, but damn if this doesn't rise to the top. Maybe because it is a PAYCE - Premium All You Can Eat! Sure lives up to its name. There are three levels of Buffet. As I was dining solo my Server Jaypee suggested the middle option. He was not wrong! Even at half sizes, portions were huge and you can always ask for me. There are 17 "sides" served with the meats. The meats are many, some more common than some of the more Korean cuts. Check out the menu. Jaypee was an incredible server, he explained the process, cooked some meats for me, so I knew what I was doing. He made meat suggestions, and made up his "special" sauce. Be sure to ask for him, and don't forget to ask him for his sauce No disappointments here. Come with a group and a good time will be had by all.

Yelp
Mr BBQ experience was a mouthwatering mix of bold flavors, quality ingredients, and warm hospitality. Highly recommended for anyone who loves interactive dining and hearty, satisfying food.

Yelp
It's my first time coming here! I came here during lunch. I enjoyed the different 18 banchan dishes they offered. The meat selections were great. Only thing I wish they had here were appetizers. They dont offer appetizers like other kbbq places. Service was great. Definitely, will be coming here again.

Yelp
I went here twice so far, one time during Thanksgiving morning and the second time for my daughter's birthday. This place really stands out from the outside the neon lights really catch my attention. It's super nice and fun inside, This has to be my favorite all you can eat Korean bbq spot in all of Las Vegas. The food was so fresh and delicious, soft & not chewy! I love how they offer this big salad that is so flavorful and goes perfect with the meal. & all the banchan was delicious. They really offer a great representation of the full Korean barbecue experience. They do such a great job. This is my spot. I will keep coming here again and again.

Yelp
We were pleasantly surprised when we first entered this place, as it is brightly decorated and has colored LED lights all over the place. We were immediately greeted and seated for dinner. Right away, the server gave us menus and asked us if we had been there before and gave us some pointers. We opted for the PAYCE premium selections which included choice, prime and wagyu grade beef cuts of filet mignon, ribeye and New York steak. Of the three, I enjoyed the New York the best, but all three were very good. The menu also includes baby octopus, mussels, large scallops and large head-on shrimp. All of those were delicious, especially the scallops. The meal included a large selection of side dishes, which I could hardly begin to think about listing here. Just take a look at the photo I included; it was nearly overwhelming. A fantastic house sauce was served with the meal and also they included extra salt and spices for the meat. Considering the quality of beef and seafood being served, the price is very excellent. They said you could sit there and eat all you want, clean them out if you want, and there are no time restrictions. Fortunately, the premium selections are available the moment they open up for lunch. We had a fantastic time at this restaurant. Little did we know that when you order the steak, you get a thick cut full steak, not just slices like at most places. So, we ended up with a full ribeye, a full New York, and a full filet mignon before we even got our seafood. Fortunately, we were pretty hungry, so we finished it all. But, just imagine being able to eat endless ribeyes, New Yorks or filet mignons plus seafood for under $50! The quality is fantastic, and the quantity is what you want it to be. We are definitely coming back to this place!

Yelp
I think the meat was decent but the sides were not that good. The meat cooked fast so that was a good thing and you were able to order a lot at a time. Service was good but they messed up our order several times so we would just be left eating someone else's order. There was nothing special about this place, just a regular KBBQ spot.

Yelp
The food was ok, nothing amazing. The portion size was small so definitely order a lot in your first round. I think the main issue was that the servers were definitely overwhelmed. So it took an exorbitant amount of time to place order for our next round and get the meat. They also forgot to place our order a couple times. Overall it was an ok experience. Definitely had better but our server was really nice and we really liked him.

Yelp
My husband and I wanted to eat in Chinatown on Christmas Eve and this restaurant had a short wait time compared to everywhere else at Shanghai Plaza. We joined the waitlist and received a text less than 10 minutes later when our table was ready. The booth we were placed in can seat up to 6 or 8 people. One thing we noticed is that there was no appetizer menu; it was all just meat, seafood, tofu soup, and miso soup. We were both disappointed as we think the dinner price ($37) is comparable to other KBBQ places that have a list of appetizers. Our sweet server even started off saying that while Mr. BBQ does not have gyoza and potstickers, the quality of their meat is phenomenal. However, they had at least 15 plates of side dishes, which definitely take the place of appetizers. I was a big fan of their pink radish slices and fish cakes. The reason we give this 3 stars is due to both my husband and me getting food poisoned afterwards. We did notice a strange smell coming from the brisket and beef sirloin but decided that cooking it well-done status would kill off any pathogens. Bad idea; my husband had a severely upset stomach on the evening of Christmas Eve less than 30 minutes after our dinner, and I had an upset stomach all day on Christmas Day and the early morning of the 26th. As I write this review, my stomach cannot hold down food yet. We really wanted to love this place. If it were not for the food poisoning, I would give this 5 stars as the service is phenomenal and we liked that they kept replenishing our side dishes. Also, my husband and I are seasoned KBBQ lovers and know how to cook meat on the grill, so we think the bad smell of the meat was a red flag.

Yelp
Went here for my birthday. The food was delicious. The restaurant was decorated for Halloween. What a great job. The servers were very knowledgeable and attentive to us. They have a lot of sides that come with the meats and all are refillable. The cost was comparable to other Korean bbq's. I recommend this Korean bbq. Delicious!
