12/20 We came back! The food was good again and we got to visit with an old friend. The waiter could have been more personable but maybe he was still learning the job. The chef did amazingly with the salmon and Mac and cheese dishes and the spicy shrimp appetizer. I'd definitely go back!! Lady visit: The booths were nice but the cushioned round booths are where I want to sit next time we go. I was pleased to see mocktinis and there were so many interesting things on the menu I just couldn't decide on what I wanted, so I stuck with pumpkin ravioli off the seasonal menu since I might never see it again. It was great and the tortellini and chicken that my husband got was amazing. I forget what it was called but it had a snake bite flavor to it. (Just a little spicy)

Really wish I could give this place the five stars it deserves. The food was delicious, drinks were delectable, bar tender and other staff were very friendly and courteous. But my waitress…. She must have disappeared to the depths of Narnia because it took 45 min just to get our drinks and 90 min to get our food. In that time- I got my own refill drink at the bar (waited 5 min), more napkins, to go boxes, and the check.

Amazing experience!!!! We sat outside, weather was perfect, ambient lighting, nice music and great food and service. Humza was super sweet, he kept checking with us to see if we needed anything. He had lots of great recommendations and told us what was the best! Herb glazed salmon and fire-cracker shrimp were the favorite on our table. Definitely recommend checking it out :) .

Stopped by here when out of town. We have one near us. Foood was good but teriyaki bowl could have used more sauce but was good. Fish & chips (I subbed Brussels sprouts) was good—fish cooked a little more harder for my preference but was ok. Coleslaw & sprouts were delicious. Food came quick. Server was mediocre.

My husband and I were in the area leaving from the mall and saw this place. I must say the food is delicious and they give you a nice size portion of food. The host was very nice and friendly. I will definitely come back here for another visit.

1st visit here. Was not too impressed to be honest. A few coworkers had previously visited before and even they commented that the place service and food quality has taken a fall. The place was pretty empty so I'd expect fast service but it felt like we waited a long time for our food. They could have been a bit under staffed based on how the energy felt. It felt very tense based on our interaction with waitress. But we went on about our business lunch and left as soon as we could. Maybe staff were having a rough day who knows. As for the food it was decent. The sweet potato fries were ok. I would have liked them a bit more crispy and flavor. The sandwich was ok. I expected spicy when I read Nashville hot but there was some sort of sauce that took away from the spicy and it made it more sweet than spicy. This could possibly be just me but I felt like the sauce overpowered the chicken seasoning. The Pepsi had a slightly weird flavoring too didn't taste much like Pepsi. Overall it was decent and maybe it was just the day I came that made a difference but I'll think of coming back- eventually.

Stopped by Maggie McFly's for a quiet respite and drink after some shopping at Springfield town Center, had not been in before. I found a very welcoming and warm environment with football games on above the bar and a relaxed vibe. Had several cocktails, which were delicious and the service was fantastic. Recommended and will be here again.

Overall the place is nice when you first walk in. There was a menu on the host station, which was nice since we had never been here before. Service: Meh. Waitress never checked on us until we had finished our food. But that was just the beginning. It wasn't busy, it's a Sunday. I asked for a refill on my Diet Pepsi. . She forgot. Then my wife needed a new water because of a fruit fly in her drink. When I politely asked for my diet, she returned with a Dr. Pepper. Appetizer: when it came out, it was subpar to say the least, the candied bacon was a nice touch but the Brussels themselves had little to no flavor; and the garlic aoili....was just a blob of mayo in the middle of the plate. Main course: fish tacos, and shrimp tacos on a corn tortilla (shrimp tacos w/ no mango salsa due to a severe food allergy) first it had to be remade due to making the wrong tortilla but that's okay bc we much rather have the right thing than wrong and the fact it was being made was nice bc you knew it was fresh, then the food came out and it looked like this huge filled taco which was amazing but in reality it was a small strip of protein on top with a mouthful of cabbage underneath. Our server acted like it was a hassle to serve or check on us or even give us the time of day everything was quick and abrupt. (If it was busy we would completely understand but it wasn't and my wife and I both spent many years in a successful food and beverage industry and know that positive interactions is half your experience plus that's what makes or breaks your tip ie...your income) By reading other reviews, the serves has more to be desired.

Maggie McFly's | Springfield, VA Food: My party order the Big Caesar Salad, Big BBQ Chicken Salad and Lump Crab Cakes with charred Brussels sprouts and Balsamic rice. For an appetizers we shared the Egg Roll sampler consisting of Ruben, TexMex, Philly cheese and chicken egg rolls. Service: We had a great server. She was friendly and accommodating. Ambiance: The restaurant has huge half moon booths... cozy , comfortable and intimate. They also offer outdoor patio seating.

Took my grandson and his girlfriend to dinner. There was 6 of us and all of the food and drinks were amazing. Maggie's really knows how to do it. Every dish was flawless, hot and tasty.

My family and I decided to come here after my nephew's soccer game. My first impression is that it's similar to the Cheesecake Factory with its large menu. You can order a wide range of different types of cuisines. I would sum up my dining experience as subpar. I think this place can improve on a few things. Food was under seasoned and lacked flavor. I ordered the ahi tuna salad and wished I hadn't. The portions of fish were small and did not taste the freshest. The calamari appetizer was chewy. Overall, I don't think I'll return.

We had a good time at Maggie McFly's. The menu is EXTENSIVE! If you want it, they definitely got it! The ambiance was fun. They played hits from the 80s and 90s. It's definitely family friendly and appropriate for everything from an afternoon with the kids to date night. The customer service was really good. The food was solid. I would not recommend the Thanksgiving Turkey Sandwich. It was very dry and there was not enough stuffing and cranberry sauce. I suspect that sandwich is probably better served in November or December. The drinks we ordered were well prepared and strong. Free parking is plentiful. I will definitely return.

My better half always puts me on to all the good eats in the DMV. Before our movie date we stopped for dinner at Maggie McFly's. Cute name definitely thought of the movie, Back to the Future. Of course I had to read all about the place! Expansive menu, name has no written relevance to the movie, and well here is my take. Place was fairly empty and they still missed a few beats. Service could be way better. Let's get into it! Well, I can't, neither of us took pictures and I can't remember what we got. That is telling! Over all, I probably would not come back as the service was meh, and to not remember your meal is enough to say, I won't be back. Cheers!

Mannnnnn -- when I say the food was -- LIKE THAT; IT WAS -- LIKE THAT!!!! Came here the other night with two of my good friends on a Sunday Evening and it was the perfect spot to watch the game & eat some good food. There wasn't a wait or anything which was cool, although our waiter was a bit slow checking on us. Bless her heart! However, when the food did come, we didn't say much... I had the Wagyu Burger with fries and a side of Sautéed Broccolini! It was -- LIKE THAT!!! So goood. The portion size was perfect, so you don't overeat, but safe to say, I'll be ordering that again. This place was a smash for me. Will be returning. Love the spaciousness of the interior even though we sat by the bar. But what I also love is that the menu isn't lackingggg.. there are ample choices for food items which is a major plus. We see you, Maggie McFly's. We coming back for sure!

The food was spectacular the portions was wonderful. No.We came in from Ohio to visit family this was the perfect place to after a 5 hour drive. Our server was very sweet but did give us the change twice and our lamp did randomly go out for at least 3 mins

Came here on a Sunday afternoon. It was 76 degrees out so we sat outside. I usually get the chicken soup but I got the chicken potstickers. They were a perfect snack with chili and soy sauces. Bae ordered the wings and left the plate empty lol. Then I ordered the chicken Marsala which always comes with mushrooms. It was a huge portion so I ended up taking more than half home. Bae ordered the orange chicken which he gets everytime we come. Everything was great! From our service to the food.

Reminds me of Cheesecake Factory with their extensive menu! Everything was good, impressed with the ahi tuna salad and disappointed with their short rib poutine app. The short rib should be chopped smaller, not in chunky strips and the cheese was in one big dollop versus curds like poutine should be. But overall the dishes were good!

Go. Get. The. Margarita. Flight. And thank me later. Came here for a work dinner and was surprised to see the place was packed with a line out of the door. The menu seemed a bit overwhelming at first - and that was only because I wanted to try every single thing that they had. Looks like the Cheesecake Factory's menu has a formidable opponent. If tequila is your go to drink, then the margarita flight is specifically for you. This allows you to try all 4 of their flavors in 5oz portions. My favorite was a toss-up between the hibiscus and the coconut margaritas. Both were refreshing to drink & I ended up ordering full glasses of both before the night ended. I might have to visit here once a month for the next year, so that I can try everything that their menu has to offer.

Im sorry that a lot of people are still new to finding out about Maggie's, i absolutely love everything about this place. Located next door to the Springfield Mall there is no designated parking but that doesn't ruin the experience. Besides the Cheesecake Factory I've never seen such a large menu option so big is like a book. From everything seafood, handhelds, chicken, fresh made pasta, gluten & vegan options you will literally need a second visit just to embrace more options. The service is always great and friendly from the bar, to the restaurant sitting you'll have an amazing experience. The decor is very warm feeling & cozy & with the selection of drinks being so plentiful you can't go wrong here so if you're with family, friend, partner or even alone Maggie's will not disappoint. *order the Eggrolls you will not regret it

The food was pretty decent. I got the impossible burger. The vibes are nice and service was good.

When ever I do a pickup order I order the same thing, the Louisiana Chicken & Pasta. It's always been great. Someone decided that it was better to put wayyyy more chicken and wayyyy less pasta with the meal. I don't know whose idea that was but it doesn't make sense. It's no longer an equal portion of food and not worth the price to purchase. Hopefully they make the right decision and go back to the previous portion.

If you are looking for a quick lunch...this is NOT your place. I was by myself- there was one other table when I sat down. Only 2 came in after. I sat at the bar. Ordered soup and a salad. The soup came out thank goodness it has a spoon because I didn't have utensils. Did not have a napkin either. Salad came 20-30 minutes later. Got utensils after it was delivered. Employees seemed to be nonexistent unless they were doing something with a table. People waiting to be sat, wandering around looking for people. Had to wait for someone to walk by to get my check. All in all staff is not attentive. Then I get my bill and realize I was charged for a dinner salad - it was lunchtime. If the assumption is that I ordered a dinner salad, a question should have been asked when I ordered. I can see why the restaurant was empty.

Came in on a Sunday and the place was pretty empty. Larger menu than expected. Waitress was very attentive and gave frequent refills. Meals tasted pretty average. Brussel sprouts had a nice crispy to them. Would come back to try something else on the menu.

The food was pretty decent. It took about 30 minutes for our food to come out and took our waiter a good amount of time to give us our check and we had to wait for him to pick up our check as well. There was no air conditioning and it was already pretty hot outside so that didn't exactly make our experience any better either. However, we did ask for mayonnaise and got it as soon as we asked!

Early Holiday lunch with the work crew. This is a active post so bear with me, I am ordering eating and writing at the samstarted my meal with Cranberry Ginger Spritz and it was delicious. Great service, vibes and food. My husband and I became regulars after our first visit. The manager Don and bartender reberto are attentive, professional and make sure to give you a memorable experience.

Sitting outside is always the way to go, even in the early season. Sitting g right next to the fire pit, made the cold evening a lot more enjoyable. While we felt we waited too long for drinks, the food that came out was well balanced and fresh. The waitress was a bit too honest about the food we initially ordered, but after drinking and eating what we did, her feedback was appreciated.

We went to Maggies for a birthday-- they were able to accommodate a party of 12 and our server did a great job. This place has a menu that would overwhelm even the most avid foodie. They literally have everything under food type. Pizzas. Sandwiches. Burgers. Salads. Steaks. Seafoods. Pasta. Etc etc. I landed on a shrimp salad that was delicious!! The shrimp were large and a perfect coating of whatever batter they used. All other salad ingredients were fresh (avocado, cucumber) it all came together well. Everyone at our tables enjoyed their food and we left empty plates on the table. The food took a while so I'm wondering if they are scratch or semi scratch kitchen? Unsure. We will definitely be back to try more of the dishes!

Very disappointed. I use to love going here to eat and have some drinks. Unfortunately on this Friday evening, we were informed by staff that they close at 10. Every website I have came across said they are suppose to close at 12. You missed out on a party of 6, that was willing to spend a lot of money. DO BETTER!

This place is always great! Great food, service, and ambiance. It's located in Springfield Mall. The menu is overwhelming!!! They have sooo many different option, but that's also a good thing. This is my third time visiting this location and the the food and service is always great.

Ambiance - This is a nice place to come for lunch or after work. Plenty of seating is available. We were there for a team luncheon. Food - The food was good. Portions were a good size. The only issue I had was having a piece of steel wool in my Buffalo chicken dip, but the manager took it off my bill. Overall, I would go back. Just make sure you have plenty of time because the service is slow.

Returning after 1 year. Came around 2pm. Maggie mcfly, attached to Springfield town center (mall) between 54 and La fitness. I sat at the bar with about 3 couples scattered around the bar and a party of 5 to the side. The bartender seemed pretty nice and chill but the service was a pretty bad and slow. I asked for a bold rock but was told something about the co2 not working. I asked her to make me whatever she wanted since I just came for a quick drink. It has been more than 15 minutes since I placed my order and no drink in hand. Ended up leaving, and wasted my time. I was surprised since it wasn't busy, and there was another person behind the bar with her. Seems like standards there have significantly dropped. Atmosphere was nice still though. No loud music, relaxing vibe.

I visited this restaurant for the first time. I highly recommend it. Upon arrival the first thing we noticed was the clean smell. It smelled like it had been freshly cleaned. The waiter we had was excellent. I ordered one of his recommendations and it was a hit. The portions are generous and the prices for four people was surprisingly affordable. They also have a whiskey bar if that's your jam. I'll be back and maybe try a few dishes through door dash!

1st time here. We waited for 20 min for the drinks. When I asked was told the waitress should have been there. We ordered drinks and food and after another 20 min with no one and no waters, we left. 2 couples who came on after us were already on their 2nd drinks and eating.

The service has really gone down hill. The past three times we have eaten here, our service has been very slow. I doubt we will return.

First time visiting and we literally walked to each restaurant on that strip to read the menus before deciding to eat here. The staff was very polite, however we came during a shift change and spoke to 3 different servers which may be the cause why there was a delay..... no worries super friendly folks. Love the atmosphere kinda a grown and sexy sports bar. The menu is competitive with the Cheesecake Factory.....massive options. Asian, Italian, Mexican, Old School. My friend got the Parmesan chicken with chili lol ‍. I ordered .... Keto the garbage burger and a side salad The plates are platter size. We both enjoyed our food and plan on returning. Only weird comment would be that I like after coffee dessert but they didn't have any artificial sweeteners ‍‍ but luckily my friend had some in his car lol.

Forgot to leave a review from the last time i had it which was about a month ago, so i had the bang bang shrimp and was disappointed, the dish was way too sweet, so much so that it tasted like a bad desert and i couldn't justify paying 25$ for said dish. But at least i had one thing i enjoyed from here and that was the fried pickles. I will be coming back to try another dish soon. Hopefully other dishes are better.

Came with a party of 8 to celebrate my husband's birthday. We originally tried for yard house but no luck so we thought we would try Maggie's and didn't expect much. We were wrong! Maggie's is good! In fact it's a lot like yard house or Cheesecake Factory but without the long wait. What I really appreciated was the service we received and how patient they were with our family (including toddlers and toddler-like adults). Food wise they have something for everyone and the consensus was "good!" For just about every dish. Their menu is pretty accommodating to a variety of dietary needs which is always appreciated. This is a totally understated spot in the Springfield town center area. Good to go with a group where everybody needs and wants something different -- I bet everybody finds something to eat here. Is it 5 star unforgettable dining? No. Is it pretty good food with pretty great service? Yes!

So i normally LOVE Maggie's, but tonight was SO off. First off, we ordered after waiting 15 minutes for our waiter to come back and take our order. There were 4 other people besides me & my partner, & 3 waiters available. My partner is GF (gluten free) & Maggie's is known for having a GF dedicated fryer. So we placed our order, for Southern fried chicken (GF), fried picked (GF) & chicken wings (GF). Within 5 minutes they came back and stated that the GF fryer had broken and they were unable to make anything fried. We then had to sit with the menu again and debate with staff over what was okay for them to make. We had settled on a grilled version of the fried chicken, the wings non-gluten free (for me), and NO appetizers. The food was alright, wings were 2/5, chicken was 3/5.

Just ordered through Grub Hub. Waited a few mins before hostess came. Told her I was there to p/u my order. Did not see here again. 12 mins pass. I get noticed my order is ready. Still no hostess. I finally walk back to look for someone when I notice my order sitting there. I p/u & leave as it's warm. No utensils AND the Impossible burger I ordered was substituted w/a bean burger of some kind. SUPER DISAPPOINTING. I would have ordered something else!

The time I went it was a decent time not crowded. Started off with drinks and appetizers. Got the devil eggs and I did not like it at all, my guest ate them because the price of food nothing goes to waste.Then got the egg roll sampler. To be honest the only good one was the Big Mac egg roll. Wishing we had got all of that kind. Had the 3 tacos meal with different meats would have been better if they were hot. The pasta was ok a lil spice.

Kids were in town and wanted a good place to eat, warm atmosphere and stayed open late on a Thursday night. Starters big pretzel and calamari with a mule n beers. Calamari was tasty seasoned okay n not many head/tentacles given ( yeah). Waffle meal was delicious and ended up taking half home. Wagu burger better quality meat than plain burger, patties decent size. Fries were smaller in size then expected and sandwich plates too big for the order-made it look like something was missing or burgers were smaller. Mushroom chicken n pasta tasty but needed more mushrooms. I also took 1 chicken breast home. Fish sandwich fell apart from the first bite, bigger bun maybe. Crunchy, needs seasoning and plenty. Waiter was on point and offered suggestions. Nice selection of food offered and drinks. May need to order starter then eat your way through the menu. 2nd visit n will return.

The spicy bacon chicken ranch pizza (add marinara) was excellent. They had a phenomenal pumpkin beer on draft. Came here on a Monday evening was practically empty besides people watching the game at the bar. Everything on the menu was probably $1-$2 higher than it should be priced, but hopefully they apply this feedback on their next menu update and keep making good food, and maybe they'll be able to steal some of those Yardhouse customers like they did with me.

I like to go to a restaurant at least twice before giving a review! When I say Maggie McFly's is a great restaurant for date night, family fun, fast bites, a drink with friends and any other reason you can come up with to check this place out! Plenty of menu options from baked goods, home cooked style cravings, small plates and tasty cocktails! Located at Springfield Mall, which in current years has become a very busy mall. Maggie McFlys has the capacity to cater to your customer needs. Always friendly service, delicious meals and an all around good time! It's a large restaurant, plenty of seating, well lit.

Located at Springfield TownCenter near LA Fitness. We seated ourselves at the bar on a Saturday mid day to watch the games. There's music playing, so the game is muted. When the bartender arrived to take our order we requested a Moscow Mimosa, my partner said you could feel the heat as it traveled down his throat. For food, we order the combination, pizza and salad and sausage and feta and a Caesar salad and a lamb gyro with french fries. The lamb gyro was open face. He opted to eat it with a knife and fork, since it was so large. The pizza had no sauce on it and had way too much feta cheese. If there was some sauce to compliment the pizza, it would have probably been better. The Caesar dressing should've been served on the side because it was doused with it. I would definitely order something different the next time if there is the next time I come back to this restaurant and it was only one serving for the bar and the tables at this time since I was a little slow. As I type the bartender announces a server didn't show up.

Service was slow and the restaurant wasn't busy. Halfway through service we got a new waiter and they were just as un-attentive as the first waiter. The manager ended up taking our order. I would not go back.

It was fine, nothing too exciting but nothing too awful. Service was a little slow for how few people were in the restaurant. The pizza was not great at all. We ordered a margherita, and there wasn't enough mozzarella - or maybe it was just cut poorly - because some slices had none at all. Then there were tomato slices but they were obviously added after it was cut because they were larger than the slices they were on. There was also so, so much cornmeal. So much cornmeal. That's what I remember most about the pizza, which isn't a good sign. There was a decent whisky selection and the cocktails were good, which made up for the corn meal pizza.

This place close please do not eat here. It takes 1 million years to get food. The food came out and it tasted like shit and it looks like shit. It used to be so much better but I don't know what the hell happened but it sucks ass. The staff seems high and they don't do shit. How does it take 30 minutes to get appetizers? If all of humanity was as slow as the staff we would still be living in the Stone Age.

First time in. The menu reminded me of Cheesecake Factory. How can they possibly make all these items well ? So, we played it safe. A burger and fried chicken sandwich. The food was very good, actually. And tasty. We did wait forever ! The place was almost empty, and our server was new -- and very sweet. But, an hour from entering until food in front of me is crazy. Hence, only 3 stars.

Well, I'm from out of town, staying at hotel across the way, never been here before. I walk in behind a couple and in front of of another couple. Couple in front of me gets seated, a minute later the hostess returns and takes care of the couple behind me. I just left and while I'm not likely to be a future customer anyway since I'm not from here, I guess my recommendation isn't all that favorable

Great service always! Jay is great! We walked in and drinks were made within a couple minutes of us sitting down! The food here is so underrated, likely because this place is new to the NOVA area but think of this spot like a far better Cheesecake Factory -- extensive menu and something for everyone! Lots of TV's, great place to enjoy sports games! They also have a nice outdoor patio area and they serve brunch on weekends! Hidden Gem at Springfield mall shopping center. You're welcome!

The food was amazing but the service was awful. The restaurant was slow/ only three other tables had people at them. It took 45 minutes to have desserts brought out (ice creams and sliced pre-made cake). From the time we were seated to leaving it was 2.5 hours. The food was great and definitely large servings.

For some reason my in laws keeping picking this place. 1 Star = Its not good 2 Stars= Something's missing 3 Stars= It's ok 4 Stars= It's good 5 Stars= It's Bangin! The menu is enormous! Why? I suggest multiple menus with themes. The giant menu is intimidating and gives me too many chooses to remember. Oh well. I stuck with what I love the most. Surf the 1st go, and Turf the 2nd. The foods appearance...BANGIN, but it was just ok. Filet Mignon, medium, topped with Herb Butter! It was cooked medium well, and the Herb Butter was....meh. It was ok. I don't even remember the price, so it wasn't the price that turn it to just ok. I believe it was due to the overcooking of the steak. The Potato was ok and I can't remember if I had bread. Ok, ok, it's the steak. You know, thinking about it, I'm going to go back for a 3rd. 2nd time I ordered the seafood casserole. It was ok-good. Dancing with the stars between 3 and 4. Thinking about it, 3 for me. I'm going to go back, because with such big menu, there has to be something on there that's Bangin!

Service was great, food was not. Been here three times and each time it seems to be getting worse, good indication was the place was empty at dinner time on a Saturday.

BLUF: okay food, but poor service on several levels I have been here twice before and had a mediocre experience each time. This time was actually a little worse. To begin with, we planned to go there for Mother's Day brunch. Looking online, you see the suggestion to make a reservation. So I called to make a reservation only to be told by the woman who answered that they don't take reservations on the weekend. I hang up and call back and get a different person who takes my reservation Another odd thing is that their Mother's Day brunch basically includes everything but brunch. They have a brunch every weekend, but for some reason on Mother's Day they decided not to have a bunch at all and simply offer a small menu of two quiches, waffles, and a breakfast sandwich. So they're advertisement says come for Mother's Day brunch, then says "excluding brunch." We arrive at the restaurant at our reservation time. The place is nearly empty. We are seated and there's no breakfast items on the menu. I go up to the front desk to find that there's a Mother's Day menu there that was supposed to be given to us when we went to our table but no one thought to do so. Throughout our meal the service was quite slow. The individual people were friendly but it was clear that they really didn't know how to treat customers. When you consider that at least 80% of the place was empty it's not like there was a lot of demand on their time. I went to an entire meal without ever having my water glass filled or even being asked if I wanted it filled. A simple breakfast cocktail took 10 minutes to come out. On to the food. The Belgian waffle dish was actually very good, with some nice fresh fruit and whipped cream. The goat cheese quiche, which sounded great on the menu, was actually pretty flavorless. Probably most noticeable was the scintilla of flavor of goat cheese. I don't think it even warranted being called a goat cheese quiche. The highlight of the dish was actually the side salad, which was tasty with a nice mix of greens and well-dressed. The ham and egg breakfast sandwich was good, but no better than you could get at about any breakfast place. I don't plan to go back there unless I'm with someone who for some reason wants to go there. Right in the very same mall there's plenty of other restaurants that have given me a better customer service experience.
