You can tell when the staff loves what they do, ❤️ and here the whole team makes you feel genuinely welcome, especially the managers. ✨ The burger was incredible — perfectly cooked, with crispy bacon and cheese melted to perfection. And the “Wish You Were Here” cocktail (made with pisco and Malibu coconut) was such a delightful surprise. 💕 I’m not usually a cocktail fan, but this one definitely made it to my Top Favorites list. 🔝🔝🔝 A place with excellent service, a lovely atmosphere, and food that truly exceeds expectations. Highly recommended — I’ll definitely be back! 🍔🥂

Loved the decor and atmosphere of this bar. I will preface that my rating is for the drinks only. My friends loved their Irish coffees. I order an amaretto sour which was delicious. Drinks ranged from $16-$20 each. I will say the service could have been better. We just sat at the bar and the bar tender never asked if we wanted another, wasn’t talkative. I had to really grab his attention to order. Overall would definitely come back but service could improve.

Maggie’s Place was the PERFECT spot for our engagement party! Venue was ideal , great atmosphere- indoor and outdoor!! Super convenient location. Ellie was fantastic to work with- she planned, confirmed and executed well beyond our expectation! Couldn’t have asked for a better place to CELEBRATE!!

We had such a wonderful experience at Maggie’s on 47th, and a huge part of that was our amazing waitress, Amanda! From the moment we were seated, she was incredibly delightful, attentive, and genuinely kind. She made excellent recommendations that were absolutely spot-on and took the time to make sure everything was perfect for us. Amanda has such a warm, positive energy you can tell she truly cares about her guests and loves what she does. She was helpful without ever being overbearing, knowledgeable about the menu, and made our dining experience feel special and effortless. Honestly, service like hers is rare and deserves recognition. Thank you, Amanda, for going above and beyond and making our visit unforgettable. We’ll definitely be back and hope to be lucky enough to have her again!

We made a reservation for this past Saturday night and when we arrived, we were seated promptly in very nice area at the end of the bar. There was only one other party of two there when we were there. I thought it was weird for a seemingly nice restaurant to be empty on a Saturday night. The waitress was very friendly and prompt. The menu, to me, it seems kind of sad because of the type of dishes they serve, in NYC! Sheppards pie and steak au poivre, amongst others of the like. However, since my wife was so excited to go there because a friend of hers recommended the place, I kept a hopeful attitude. We ordered some appetizers, nothing crazy, just cheese balls with marinara sauce. Then dinner, I ordered the steak au poivre, my daughter ordered the salmon, my son ordered fish and chips anf lastly, my wife ordered the sheppards pie. Everything seemed okay until I got my steak, I ordered it medium, I got it very, very well done. I sent it back and it came back at a slightly medium rare but, I chose not to send it back again. Maybe I should have and maybe I should have ordered something different because after that dinner, I got severely ill and I'm actually still feeling the effects of the illness, after having to endure two days of horrible stomach pain, vomiting, and getting a headache and body chills all day and night. I even had to take a day off work, and who knows, it might end up being two days of sick time off because I still don't feel well and it's already night time on day two of being horribly ill. For all I endured, I would suggest not ordering the steak or just don't go there. I wish I could have shared in my wife's feelings for the restaurant but, I can't, after my illness.

Neat building, but nothing special about the food or service. Shepherd's Pie was so bland, I had to ask for salt & pepper. My husband enjoyed the Angry Burger, but the fries were just meh.

One of the best pubs you will ever go to - if you are in Manhattan, you need to check this place out! My family, friends, and I went to Maggie’s after the NYC Marathon over the weekend to celebrate. Beyond great Guinness pours and the best fish and chips you’ll ever have, the atmosphere was really outstanding. I felt so comfortable celebrating there with close family and friends. The best part about the location is the service. Danielle was a pleasure to work with - she was so accommodating and ensured my group had everything we needed. Cannot thank Maggie’s enough for helping me celebrate a special weekend!

Maggie's Place is one of those timeless New York Irish pubs that gets it right--warm, reliable, and just the right amount of worn-in charm. It's the kind of spot where you can settle into a booth, order a proper pint, and lose track of time in the best way. The staff is friendly and fast, the Guinness is poured correctly, and the menu has all the pub staples you'd expect (the shepherd's pie and burger are both solid). The vibe is laid-back and welcoming, whether you're stopping in solo, meeting friends, or escaping Midtown's chaos for a while. It doesn't try to reinvent anything--and that's what makes it great. Maggie's Place is a classic that delivers, plain and simple. One star shy of perfect only because it can get a bit crowded during peak hours, but that's just part of its charm. A true NYC pub staple.

I come to Maggie's very frequently. The reason I'm rating this well is because of specific bartenders. Jenny and Emilio are AMAZING. Demar and the management are why they don't get 5 stars. Demar is judgmental to the point where you want to get up and walk out. He is slow with service (waited 20 minutes for water, never mind a drink). When I walk in and see him, I walk out. The new management is terrible and doesn't treat the awesome staff right. The rest of the staff is unbelievably amazing, which is why I go back. Food is good. But a lot of it is fried, but normal for an Irish bar. Great spot to watch games. If you get Emilio - - don't question, GO! He's amazing

Finally checked out Maggie's Place after work. It's a solid local bar and was pretty packed when I went. I ordered the Teddy's Old Fashioned--surprisingly really good! Though I wasn't crazy about the little chamomile in it. As for the service... not great. Our server seemed like she didn't want to be there, which kind of killed the vibe. Overall, meh!

We came in the late afternoon and were seated right away. A very nice atmosphere. Had great service. I got the falafel wrap and it was so good! My son got the burger and it was average, but nothing special. Overall we were pleased with our meal.

My two friends and I stopped by Maggie's Place for dinner last night, and it was packed. We didn't have a reservation, but we were lucky enough to get seated right away upstairs, which was significantly more quiet than downstairs (which we preferred). We had a few cocktails and each got salads as well as bread with honey butter for the table. Everything was tasty overall. They forgot my friend's falafels for his southwest salad but brought them out right away when we mentioned it. The servers were all great. Very attentive and nice. I would come back here again but perhaps not during happy hour, as it gets extremely crowded and loud (I feel so old writing that). :)

I met at Maggie's about 3-times a year and are never disappointed. From the prefect burgers to the favorite fish tacos you will not be disappointed. Maggie's is a very comfortable meeting spot for the lunch crowd so it can get a bit load but never to much. It's like a neighborhood basement vibe with you best friends attending. The Guinness flows feely and is on point. Plus the whiskey menu is rather book like-Enjoy

Pretty solid spot for lunch or drinks in Midtown East with an Irish / American bar and restaurant vibe. I ordered the Short Rib Ragu Mafaldine, which had a good amount of tender short rib to go with the pasta, which was cooked well. There was also a good amount of tasty mushrooms. The portion size was decent. $29 seemed slightly steep for this but not outrageous. There is a lively atmosphere with an elevated pub kind of environment. The staff are friendly and the service speed is okay. Overall, while I wouldn't say this is a 5 star place, it still is good enough to earn 4 stars from me.

Amelio is the best bartender I've ever met in my life. He took great care of our larger party, no problem. No complaints. Good vibes. 10/10 will be back

Food - delicious especially for the value Atmosphere- terrific beautiful at Christmas perfectly appointed! Service - 10/5!! We came in at 6:00 & said can we get 5 meals by 6:30 to get to Top of Rock 7:10 appointment & we're given front table (as tourists). Left 6:50 got 3 blocks & wife says left iPhone in their bathroom! Ugh! Me fat out of shape asthma from FL running 4 blocks at 25 degree temp get to host stand start to explain & he smiles & hands me the phone - run back & get to Rock at 7:14 & get in!! THANK YOU MAGGIES WILL NEVER FORGET YOU!!!

It was a very nice and cozy place. The hostess was very nice and friendly. The service was excellent. A glass of cold Hazy Ipa was just the thing to cool off on a hot day. For appetizers we had gochujang wings. For our main course I ordered honey jalapeno turkey buger. It was absolutely delicious, tender and melt-in-your-mouth. My husband ordered the classic shepherd's pie and he was also delighted with it. We'll definitely come back when we're passing through New York.

Pint of Guiness and an Irish Coffee. I enjoyed the place and would definitely go back. Renovations were a bit heavier than I prefer. I like the old wood look better but I suppose I understand the age we live in with its modern sensibilities. Xmas decorations throughout were nice. Irish coffee was tasty but not really hot. But tasty nonetheless.

Solid no frills spot in Midtown east for lunch/dinner/drinks. Price point is solid for this area. Great service and lots of seating upstairs to accommodate big parties. The atmosphere is very cozy and comfortable. Food is decent but I wish their fries were more crispy.

Fantastic experience here last night with my old roommate from college. I'm in town for work and she'd been wanting to try this place out for a while so she made reservations. It was conveniently restaurant week in the city too, so they had great options. I started with the Spicy Maggie margarita that had the perfect mix between spicy and sweet. Then the restaurant week special was a 3 course meal for $45. I started with the Truffle Burrata & Prosciutto, then the atlantic salmon main course, and ended with the old fashioned chocolate fudge cake (and I of course paired it with an espresso martini). Just fantastic all the way around. So much flavor in every bite (and sip!). It was busy for a Tuesday night so glad we got reservations. And the atmosphere was very cool/chic but old school at the same time. Very happy with this place!

Busy Irish pub near grand central. Lots of people here after work. I went to meet a friend, and luckily we got a table. Loud and crowded, but if you're lucky to get a seat, a nice place to catchup with a friend with some apps and drinks.

Food was solid, nothing extraordinary. Service quick and bar was decorated for the holidays. Nice spot to stop in for a casual rink and bite.

Busy mid-week happy hour spot, close to the men in finance and grand central station. Small bites were tasty and the specialty cocktails were even better. I suggest the purple rain, it was tasty and pretty!

Arrived for a late lunch on a Wednesday. Lots of menu options, better than "pub grub". Had the calamari (excellent), spicy chicken sandwich (excellent), and the Tuscan grilled chicken (good). Sandwiches came with fries that were perfectly crisp and hot. Service was attentive. Will come back for sure.

One star because the drink I ordered (something with mezcal that came with a pretty edible flower) was good, but that's about it. Their prices are high, the service is non-existent.... Rude hostesses, rude bartenders, rude food runners, rude everything... and the ambiance is not the best. We were there on a Thursday after work and it was extremely packed. Nowhere to stand without getting bumped. The upstairs was closed and it was just a mess, terrible experience and I paid $30 ish dollars for like 1oz of alcohol with juice LOL

I was terrible and forgot pics of the food but we had the mozzarella appetizer and it was super good. For my meal I had the spicy chicken sandwich but the meat was thin and didn't have a lot of spice to it. A different waitress delivered our food and we never saw ours again until we were almost done. Overall the place was cute and decorate nicely.

The drinks, food and service were great. As busy as it was for a Monday our server didn't miss a beat. Love all the Christmas decor! Definitely try the spicy chicken sandwich and the Brussel Sprout Cesar salad!

Cute place. Decorated nicely for the holidays. Pub food menu. Average quality food. Average NYC prices. Average service. Restrooms are tiny-really, really tight. If you want an average experience, this could be your place.

We come into the city around this time of year and after walking around in the crowds we wanted to stop and get some food. Maggie's Place looked really good so we stopped, the ambiance was festive and in classic Irish pub style dark wood really looked fantastic. The menu was less like a pub and more upscale but the prices were very reasonable. The drink menu was great would definitely recommend Midnight in Manhattan. The service was good and the online bill pay was a nice touch. If in NY and looking for a place to stop for a little more than a plan burger and a beer this is a good place to start.

Stopped in for some food and drinks for a late lunch on a Saturday during peak holiday season. Upon entry, the holiday decor made for a cozy and welcoming environment. I'll start with the positives. The cocktails were delicious and aesthetic. We ordered the Tuscan chicken sandwich and the appetizer burger sliders, which were both very good. The music and overall ambiance were very pleasant. The cons: I will note that it did become increasingly busy and the service was progressively slow. We got our first round of drinks and food pretty quickly, but then waited almost 45 minutes to order a second round of drinks. The server was nowhere to be found and we ended up with 2 different servers at the end who I will say were apologetic for the wait. Nonetheless, it took a very long time to get a second round of drinks and our check, which was frustrating. I am empathetic to a busy restaurant and under-staffing, however the wait was a definite downside.

Legit one of the best turkey burgers I've ever had. And shoutout to Fabricio for putting the Ranger game on with great hospitality. In this area of town, most bars can be a bit standoffish to say the least so this spot was quite welcome to stumble upon.

Probably the worst experience I've had in maybe a year or two. Called to ask if they had restaurant week on Sunday and the person on the phone said yes. Came in and the waitress insisted they don't do it on Sunday's. The same waitress that was standing and smoking outside the restaurant as we were walking in. We ordered the ahi tuna nachos and the tuna came cooked!!! Why?!? Tried getting the waitresses attention, but she was nowhere to be found for majority of our meal, usually leaving the restaurant through the front - where there were no customers. We originally came here because we wanted the chicken pot pie and the shepherd's pie. Honestly they were overpriced for the ingredients that are used in them. But they were not bad in flavor. We finally got the bill after we asked for it. Which was tossed on the bar across where we sat with the phrase "Hey" and that's it. We were sooo looking forward to this place, but alas it was not meant to be.

Well I'm so glad I tried the specials today. Tomato & cheddar soup is outrageous as is their mushroom flatbread. The food here is consistently good and staff are great!

Found this cute place via lunch App called MealPal. I had pan seared mahi mahi yesterday and it was great so decided to try their crispy falafel gyro today. Unlike other restaurants participating with MealPal, Maggie's place doesn't cut corner or short change u with taste, quality of food and packaging, Would love to try dinner one day. Awesome

I definitely recommend this place for lunch, dinner. For drink's we had some old fashioned, we ate the mahi mahi with sweet potato mash. So delicious

Went here on a Saturday afternoon. Nice long bar to sit out - plenty of room. I imagine it probably gets crowded after work on weekends, but on this Saturday it was quite empty. Staff was very nice and attentive. Respectable menu with some specials. Moderate list of beers on draft. There was nothing extraordinary about Maggie's, but certainly nothing that would drive me away. I would definitely come back if I were in the area and needed a bite to eat and a beer to drink.

Good old Irish bar. Beers, drinks and bar food. I only had a beer at the time. The place is nice looking. It's around time square so it get that after work crowd with a tourist mix. I would come here if i were in the area. Its nothing spectacular but good

My friend liked her chicken pot pie more than I liked my lemon roasted chicken. It was OK, don't get me wrong, but nothing special. The downstairs (where the bar is) is crazy noisy but upstairs is quieter. A fine meal, but nothing to go out of your way for.

I'm a beyond jaded New Yorker, so I greet most complaints about price, wait time and the like with a general "Hey, that's the price you pay for living in the most vibrant city in the world" attitude. So please bear in mind that it takes a lot for me to go down this road... $19 for two pints of Guinness? $25 for a beer and a gin and tonic? That's barely acceptable at a fancy, high end Manhattan nightclub, much less a place masquerading under the guise of a cozy, charming Irish pub. I found the interior charming and the staff friendly, but nothing you couldn't find elsewhere in midtown--or other parts of the city for--and, I can't stress this enough... significantly more reasonable prices!!!

We popped in to get out of the crowd, I understand now why there wasn't a crowd. The service was slow. The old fashioned we ordered was watered down and served with raisins in a skewer??? We had the ahi tuna nachos, but the tuna was over cooked and it was generally not good. I did have a decent vodka soda and it wasn't crowded...so that's the positive points, I wouldn't come back.

Great vibe and great food. Don't go here if you want hangout on your phone. Cell service is spotty but the environment is conducive to talking and a good time. The fish and chips is really, really good.

The reason I asked the waitress for utensils is because we ordered chicken sandwich meal and burger meal so normally the finger foods don't come with utensils unless upon request. Which I requested but never got, or got checked on ever. Thank you

This place has seriously good ribs. I know you wouldn't think to go to an Irish pub for ribs, but a friend of mine who comes here frequently recommended them when I came here with her and her family last week. I was really pleasantly surprised: the meat came right off the bone and was tender and really flavorful. You get a huge portion too - plus a hefty stack of fries and a little cup of cole slaw - so I easily got two meals out of it. I also appreciate how accommodating they were of our group: they had to split us into two tables, and the children among us were pretty loud but we were seated in the back so hopefully not too annoying to the other diners! There are so many good restaurants in NYC so I'm not sure when I'll come back here - but if and when I do, I'll definitely be getting those ribs again.

Came here just before Christmas after visiting the Tree for a drink and some snacks. We LOVED this pub. The food was yummy and the decor was so cozy for the Holidays. Our bartender Fabrizio made us a delicious Christmas cocktail after we asked for something festive. He was super attentive and we loved his espresso martinis too. We will definitely be going back next time we are in the city!!!! Such a cute spot.
