First experience dining in this restaurant and I wasn’t “wowed”! It wasn’t terrible by any means but I was expecting a more authentic dining experience which may have been where I went wrong. Firstly, Atmosphere and service were amazing. The servers/hosts were nonstop smiling and it was wonderful. Our server was very attentive to us. The food, on the other hand… was not great, in our opinion. We ordered the beef gamo, beef scrolls, dandan noodles, and minced pork paste noodles. Starting from Beef Gamo: The beef was quite salty and a bit tough to chew for us. Flavor was great however just too salty for me. 6.5/10 Beef Scrolls: the beef is the same exact as the beef in the beef gamo. Tough, same taste, and too salty. The pancake was nice and flaky though. Flavor was good. I’d order this one again though, it was quite tasty as there wasn’t too much meat so it was too salty and the pancake enveloping the ingredients balanced out the saltiness. 7.5/10 Dandan Noodles: I ordered mid-round noodles and boy, for $15, I probably got 8-10 strands of really thick noodles! Which was my fault for ordering mid-round noodles. The noodles were cooked to perfection though. Al dente and chewy. The overall dish was seasoned great however it was super dry… I finished my noodles and had a bunch of ingredients left since the noodles to the “sauce” ratio is a bit off. A bunch of meat was leftover. I think next time I won’t be ordering such thick noodles. It was hard to grab with chopsticks and like I said, 8-10 bites and the noodles were gone. Sauce had balanced notes of peanut and spice and saltiness though. Not sure I’d order this dish again. 7/10 Minced Pork Paste Noodle: this dish’s taste was so much better and my friend had ordered classic noodles. She said it was still a bit thick but it was more manageable to consume. She had more noodles in her plate, it seemed, and wasn’t gone in just a couple bites. The sauce was sweet and salty. No hint of spice. Great flavor! Noodles were again, al dente. For some reason though, her dish was also very dry. 8/10 Overall: I’d give this place 3.85/5 stars. Could use an improvement here and there. Not a bad place to eat for sure, but coming from someone who consumes a lot of these dishes frequently, it did not WOW me, however the star of this restaurant is the hand pulled noodles which they did great on! Updated Review in response to restaurant’s reply: I went to look at their online menu and it does indeed say muffin for their beef and pork gamo! That is my fault for overlooking that thinking it would be something else! For how professional of a response/reply the restaurant gave, I will most definitely go back and try them again! I think this time I’d get thinner noodles to get a better experience for their dry noodle dishes and I can get thicker noodles for their soup dishes.

Food ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Service ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Atmosphere ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We were greeted by a very enthusiastic hostess and Leah was our server who did a wonderful job. We started with crab rangoon which is a perfect combo of six crispy wontons filled with sweet deliciousness that was delivered to our table by Bella Bot the robot. My husband and I both ordered the Shrimp Stir Fry. I chose the hand pulled string noodles and hubby chose the hand pulled mid round noodles and both were delicious. We love that we can choose our noodle size. I topped my delectable dish with the house made Spicy Chili Sauce that is available at every table. Magic Noodle is a great place to grab a quick meal (the kitchen cranks out the food quickly), it is family friendly, clean, and charmingly decorated. The only negative is that my to-go box was not bagged and the sauce leaked out of the container onto my sleeve.

We traveling through Kansas and made a stop at this restaurant. We were so glad we did. The homemade noodles were excellent. The best part is that we got to watch them make them. Our server Eisen was attentive, informed and efficient in getting our food to us. I can’t wait to go back.

Trisha single handedly saved our experience! We were newbies here and ordered off menu. When you are with someone who has an allergy one reads the menu with high clarity. When the meal came out with shrimp to the person with a shrimp allergy we were worried. Trisha noticed immediately something was wrong. She wasn’t even our server. She helped get the correct item out quickly and correctly. Things were a bit spicier than we thought but pretty good. We did get our egg rolls delivered by a robot so that was also fun.

The Magic Beef with Classic Noodles had noodles that curled onto each other instead of forming long strands. The Dan Dan Noodles, Mid Flat Style, were slightly overcooked but still tasty. The Signature Fried Rice was average. The Tate Slaw had a nice texture, and the marinade was flavorful, though it lacked the other veggies mentioned on the menu. The Lamb Skewers were tender and well-seasoned with cumin and chili powder. The Magic Sauce on the table tasted like taco seasoning to me. Having a robot serve you is always a neat experience. For the price, the portion sizes could have been better.

Came here about 4 times now, but this time it was very empty. Got the shrimp and noodles with extra brocoli. They game us what was half plates with very little brocoli at all. We waited over 30 minutes for management to arrive back from somewhere and we ended up just leaving after explaining things 4 times...We were told 5 pieces of brocoli equals 1 portion of the meal . Neither of us got 1 portion and extra was now soggy and cold. I didnt eat Any of my plate. Before this experience the servings were big. Servers were friendly and concerned that we would walk out; but the manager came into the place in a huff, thew 2 grocery bags down, and almost threw her Cavo bag into the food at the prep area. If we had to wait any longer and explain the trash service we received from the cooks and her, I might have had a diabetic medical emergency. No manager on site, no supervision, no idea of serving size, and no one knew how to comp a plate or change anything for a receipt. Just charge full price and hope no one complains. This one experience has ruined all the previous....Looks like I was given a response; and professionally placed the blame on the customer. To re clarify I ate Nothing of my plate. I had 1 egg roll and a crab ragoon, which were part of the appetizers. And yes, the entire meal was comped, with an attitude from the manager to throw everything away. If she was on break and had to rush back, then She left no one that was competent to take care of issues when she left, for the 30 min we sat waiting. Employees said she had to run to the store across the lot for "lemons or something". We were offed a 20% employee discount and or additional brocoli, because no one knew how to do anything else. The servings was Purposely made with half noodle portions and Very Little Vegetables; just to see IF they could get away with it and I called them out. The offer of additional brocoli would have covered 1 plate and not 2 plus the extra ordered. Being told 5 pieces is a serving, then when I pointed out neither of us had 5 pieces; it made managemnt look stupid. I was happy to leave and be free of this place. Previous visits were great. This one was horrible. Changed to 1 star all around.

Ordered from favorite to least: shrimp stir fry, chicken fried rice, chicken skewers, crab rangoon, the magic soup (beef) The shrimp stir fry with string noodles and chicken fried rice were awesome 🔥 we were having a nice lunch and then they came and brought the kids fun flower balloons & bears for Valentine’s Day.. day made! They also have a helpful kids menu. We will be back for sure

I ordered the pork dumpling noodle soup, the broth and hand-pulled noodles were exquisite. I also ordered the honey chicken appetizer and both dishes were healthy serving sizes. I was able to take a to-go bag for both, and I also ordered the signature fried rice to-go for my partner (not pictured) which was also very delicious. The staff was very attentive (restaurant was not full at the time, but there were about 5 or 6 tables going). They were also very friendly and kind. I would say with everything it was about $40 total which would match the $20 per person scale, and I will definitely be coming back next time I am in Overland Park

Yelp
Magic Noodle is an absolute gem! From the moment you walk in, you're greeted with warm hospitality that makes you feel right at home. One of the most exciting parts of the experience is getting to customize your noodle style and then watching the chefs hand-pull them and you can watch it happen. it's dinner and a show all in one! Whether you prefer your noodles stir-fried or in a flavorful soup, you really can't go wrong. I tried both and was blown away by the rich flavors and perfect texture. The appetizers are just as impressive, and their fried rice is a must-try--packed with flavor and cooked to perfection. Everything I had was absolutely delicious, and I can already say I'll be coming back for more. If you're a noodle lover (or just a fan of great food), Magic Noodle is a spot you don't want to miss! It's a cozy spot with great ambiance and great food

Azile Y.

Yelp
Love that they hand pull their noodles behind the counter for all to see. Service was terrific. I liked my noodle soup with pork and shrimp dumplings- it had a chicken broth with a mild curry flavor that was nice (and even better the next day), which also contained bok choy. I opted for the wide noodles but in retrospect I think the classic noodle shape is where's it's at for the soups. I want to come back and try the wide noodles again but in a stir fry noodle dish (no broth). For our apps we ordered the honey glazed chicken which was delicious (and needed more sauce!), and the cold potato slaw which was spicy and surprising- I recommend for something refreshing before a hot noodle dish. For dessert we enjoyed the Chinese donuts... Like cylinder shaped beignets! I didn't love that they have plastic water glasses and plastic soup spoons... Excessive plastic is always a bummer and a health concern. Hoping they switch to glass/metal in the future.

Yelp
Food - solid and consistently great, dare I say better than pho Service - great Ambiance - good Went here on 11/10/2024 mid afternoon after a Chief's victory. Ordered the Magic Beef, sub port belly (not aways available as a substitute) Great broth, choice of noodle type (thin to thick etc) Excellent broth, tasty noodles, long sticks of either pickled radish or some "himica" like veggie, fried egg, and "Magic sauce and spicy oil" at the table/booth to kick it up a notch. A wide variety of appetizers, pho like noodle dishes, rice dishes/bowls. A meal o leftovers is in my future as well, BONUS!!!

Sydney C.

Yelp
The menu had a lot of great options it was hard to choose. The kitchen crew hand pulls the noodles in the open and our food was served by a robot (we also had a real server as well). My ramen was good and my family enjoyed their meals too.

Joe K.

Yelp
I like how consistent and clean the restaurant is. I enjoy restaurants where you can actually see them making the food or cooking in front of you so I can see the process. Magic noodle provides both of these qualities and the food is prepared in a timely manner. Everything tasted fresh and it has that homemade feel. The texture of the noodles is perfect. I would say there is some decent complexity to the dish but nothing overly flavourful. Just well balanced dishes. The noodles is the star of the show.

Maddy R.

Yelp
The food was okay...we ordered the garlic edamame, egg fried rice, and pork noodles. The fried rice portion was hugeee which I am not a fan of. I would rather have a really good and tasty smaller portion that I can consume fresh than a large portion of something that is okay. Barely any egg in it. Never had sake before but was not a fan of that either. The robot brining food was pretty cool though. It talks to the table when it comes! Definitely a cool experience but probably won't return.

Paula W.

Yelp
I am heartbroken they don't have one of these in NY. This place is awesome. The noodles have so much flavor! We had fried dumplings and the stir fried chicken with string noodles. So many choices! Our service was spectacular and the ambiance is so nice. I want to come back for the soup and the egg rolls. Also need to try the different noodles. What a fun place to go!

Bill B.

Yelp
Magic Noodle? The real magic was the amount of food that came out of me in the bathroom! After one toilet got jammed, had to run to the next. 16 flushes. 3 from a personal record. Food tastes great, ambiance was good, and the service was great.

Stephanie N.

Yelp
Overall, this was a pretty cool experience! You can see the individuals in the kitchen pulling the fresh hand noodles from anywhere in the restaurant. It was really interesting to watch them make our food before it's actually served and this added to the cool vibes of the restaurant. Service was great; it was fast and they checked in often. The actual noodles were just okay. It might've been the batch of dough we were served from, but the soup made the noodles extra soggy. I unfortunately couldn't finish my meal because of this texture the longer it sit. I would be willing to try this place again, but I would have the stir fried noodles rather than the soup next time!

Haley W.

Yelp
Magic Noodle is my go to for weekend takeout, or also for when I'm at work at night, since it makes for a fast yet tasty dinner. They specialize in hand-pulled noodles, and offer 3 different broths including beef, chicken and veggie. I like the beef and chicken, and usually choose one of the wonton options. The broth is always flavorful and also served with bok choy and my favorite, the pickled vegetable (maybe a radish?). I also love the scallion pancake, a must order! They do have several other noodle dishes on the menu, which I'm sure are worth trying. Final review: 4/5 stars. Overall solid food choice and perfect for those cold nights.

Dustin E.

Yelp
Amazing! It's everything I wanted it to be. The hand-pulled noodles are magnificent!! I had the brisket and half round stir fried noodles. It was magical. My wife had the flat noodles with chicken, shrimp and beef. The manager came up to talk to us and find out what we thought. We loved it! We'll be back!

Dane H.

Yelp
Been here multiple times and the food and service has always been excellent. The kids love the robot that delivers the appetizers.

Jeff L.

Yelp
Crab Lagoon was delightful actually had a good amount of cream cheese. I forgot how cool the robot is and if you go in to eat here, touch it see your little actually talk to you Food is outstanding, hot and fresh and easy to heat up My carryout order was ready in about 5 to 10 minutes

Ivani B.

Yelp
I have heard rumblings about the restaurant but never knew what the name of it was or where it was....until this weekend. My friend invited me to try Magic Noodle and it truly is Magic ! I love Asian food, it can be Chinese, Japanese, Korean. I love it all and this restaurant has what my pallet desires. I started off with crab ragoons, lamb skewers and honey orange chicken. The honey orange chicken is an appetizer but I ate it with my signature fried rice which has shrimp, beef, chicken, cabbage, broccoli and carrots. For your noodles you can choose how thick or thin you want them and they are made in house, it's really cool to watch the chefs make them from your table. I love their extensive menu, the restaurant is beautiful and new and my server was a delight! His name was Oak. I have already made plans to come back and I already have what I'm gonna order picked out which is the soup. Great family place. I hope they expand and make more locations.

Steven B.

Yelp
Noodles w a show. Watch the noodle men bounce the noodles. It's not Taipei yet it's close. Don't forgo the grandma sauce at the table, it's iconic hot! Lots of choices in soups bowls rice or assortments. Start w tasty appetizers and the hot sake.

Jacinda X.

Yelp
Food: we ordered The Magic & Pot Belly noodle soups with medium flat noodles. The Magic's noodle broth was lighter and the Pot Belly noodle broth was saltier. I enjoy spicy food so I added the hot chili oil and it was not spicy at all. I loved the chewy ness of the noodles and I thought the portions were right. I'll be back for another warm bowl of noodles! Service: we were seated right away, but seated at a dirty table. Ambiance: came in on a Friday night at around 7:30pm and it there was a steady crowd.

Bree G.

Yelp
We went in late on Saturday night. We enjoyed the egg rolls and the octopus balls on a stick! We split the Triple B noodle dish and thought the noodles were the best part. The rest of the dish was good, but needed a little something. The meat was tender and flavorful, but the sauce just needed...something. I put some of the Magic Sauce (on the table), on the dish and thought that made it better, but my husband didn't care for that sauce. We'll go back! We've only ever tried the noodle dishes here, not any soup, so maybe we'll go there next time.

Mai S.

Yelp
Love this place! It's so cute and so is the cat robot that delivers your appetizers! The staff is really friendly and gives great recs. The scallion pancakes are probably the best thing on the menu. I really love it. Huge portions for a good price.

Lanh N.

Yelp
Went here for the first time with my girlfriend. The main attraction is the hand pulled noodles but they serve more basic dishes such as fried rice and stir fry if you're a less adventurous eater. Appetizers weren't anything out of the ordinary. They had the typical options like edamame, crab rangoons, and gyoza. The crab rangoons seemed to be pretty popular because we saw a lot of them come out the kitchen. We decided to try the fried calamari. Not the best I've had. The sauce that accompanies it is good and the breading was crispy but the calamari itself was a little tough and rubbery. For the main course I had the shrimp and pork wonton noodle bowl. I decided to add a fried egg to it but depending on the bowl you get it may come by default. Overall I enjoyed it. The wontons were flavorful and so was the broth. The noodles are very long so be prepared to chomp down on them but otherwise they're fresh and tasty. I also liked the pickled radish that comes with the dish. It compliments the dish really well which I didn't expect. Service was fine and our server checked up on us enough times. They also have a robot serving the food so be prepared for that. It's a small spot but very casual. Great for groups and couples as a lunch or dinner spot. I recommend a booth if you can get it. The tables are spaced very close to each other and you might be sitting pretty much right next to another group. All in all I'd go again but only if I happen to be in the area.

Gavin Q.

Yelp
Really good, ordered the magic beef with no pickled radish and added bean sprouts and carrot. I loved and a very interesting and nice restaurant.

Leslieanne L.

Yelp
Delicious food! Noodles are fabulous. Service is great! Always happy with my food! Do carry out about once a week. Never disappointed!

Jas J.

Yelp
I heard about this restaurant and have been wanting to try it! The place was clean and I like how you can see them making the noodles. I also loved the robot! It was soo cool and cute! Appetizers: Fried octopus: I've had fried octopus before but I really enjoyed theirs. It wasn't too much breading to wear you couldn't taste the octopus which was nice. Crab Rangoon: This was soo good! Egg roll: these were good too! Entree: I got the signature fried rice which was also good. I also tasted my friend's fried noodles and it was different but in a good way. I think it helped that everything was freshly made. Gave 4 stars mainly because it took our server a while to get to us but she was very kind!

Becca B.

Yelp
Magic Noodle is a popular ramen spot in Kansas City because of the delicious meals served on an actual robot! You start by placing your order with the server, and the robot brings your meal out when it is ready. Along with the futuristic spin at this ramen restaurant, you can also pick the thickness of your noodle and watch as the dough is pulled, rolled, and prepared to your perfection. We started our meal by ordering spicy edamame with garlic cloves, the crispy crab rangoons, and the steamed dumplings appetizers. We also ordered a bowl of the combo ramen and the combo stir fry noodle dishes. Not only does Magic Noodle serve tasty meals, but they offer an exciting and fun environment to enjoy your meal in. Add Magic Noodle to your Kansas City bucket list today!

Kay P.

Yelp
Was told Kansas City was known for their BBQ but I was really craving some Asian food and tried this place out! Nice and clean; aesthetic little noodle shop in a large but empty shopping area~ Service was simple but did forget a request (no biggie). The fried and steamed dumplings were good; nothing special~ The crab rangoons were crispy and had a good amount of filling. The grilled skewers just tasted like grilled meat, mundane taste. The Nom Nom chicken - was probably the worst item. It was cold (as it should be) but the taste was just so off. Not sure if it was the quality of the chicken, the sauce, or the water used to boil but it was extremely mushy and did not sit well. The Magic Noodle was okay - the meat was a little gamy for me but the Triple B was much better! For hand pulled noodles - it wasn't anything special. The texture of the noodles seemed like plain over the counter bought pasta but the broth was clean! Overall, 5.5/10!

Emily H.

Yelp
Our group of 7 came to dinner here on Thursday night. A clean, casual restaurant to dine in! Crab Rangoon 9/10 - crispy on the outside - creamy center - great starting appetizer Nom Nom Chicken 2/10 - we were recommended this dish, but our table hated it... went from nom nom chicken to no no chicken for us - cold chicken with peanut sauce -- this combo just didn't work for us - looked very unappetizing as well Gyoza Fried 8/10 - standard gyoza you usually get Magic Beef 7/10 - very clean and light broth, a bit bland for my taste - beef is tender and would fall apart, but taste is average - noodles were nice and chewy - topped with green onions, cilantro, and pickled radish - adding chili oil made it better for me Triple B 7.5/10 - only tried the beef for this, but the chunks were tastier than the meat in the magic beef It was nice to try a new restaurant but didn't feel satisfied with the food. Service was okay -- one of my friend's request was missed.

Dev T.

Yelp
We have tried the Magic Noodle three times now. The last time that we ordered there I had the veggie fried rice. I found that there was not a lot of flavor. The rice was well cooked and moist though. When dining in the restaurant the there is a 'robot' that drops off some of your food so that can be fun. I'm not sure that we plan on returning soon though.

Fiona Z.

Yelp
Decent place that seems like it should be a chain or part of one. The food isn't quite there in terms of depth of flavor, but it's a great Midwest attempt. Overall, everything was fine and I'm at least glad there's a place like this in the Overland Park/Kansas City metro area. If you've only eaten at Asian restaurants in the Midwest or don't want to make these dishes at home, I'd recommend Magic Noodle. Also: the robot server brings your food out to you. It's a fun touch. Beef noodle soup ($14): The soup is like a store-bought powder approximation in terms of flavor, but it's good enough. It kind of hits the spot unless you can make it better at home, which definitely takes more time. Scallion pancakes ($5): Too oily with not enough onion, not particularly worth it. Tate slaw (aka tu dou si, $5): Not vinegar-y enough, but at least it kind of had that crunch. Beef skewers ($6): Fine, kind of dry, not that flavorful. Dan dan noodles ($15): Nothing amazing, but it hits the spot.

Alayna C.

Yelp
Night started out great. Great appetizers and great waitress. When ordering my main meal there was a mishearing when I asked for the magic chicken, I was given the magic. The magic contains pork and beef whole the magic chicken does not, understandable mistake, was not mad. When i recieved my bowl i seen beef and picked it out thinking a small mistake was made. I then realized it was a pork chop and tripe was in the bowl. I haven't had pork in over 4 yrs. The pork chop resembled a chicken breast. I then realized this was the wrong bowl and less than 1/4 of the bowl was eaten. My stomach felt uneasy and I asked the waitress if they were able to just take it off the check. A different rude lady came back telling me I was getting a magic chicken and not a refund. We tried cancelling the order but it was made and when asking for it to go the lady continued her rude behavior and smart remarks. Not a great experience.

Carol F.

Yelp
Overpriced Panda Express. I paid extra for extra vegetables. You needed a microscope to find any vegetables much less extra vegetables.

Yelp
On the advice of our kids, we decided to make a trek out south to give Magic Noodle a try last night, and it ended up being fantastic! Our kids ate here a couple months back with their cousins, and really loved it! Not that we don't typically believe them, they just have a...how do I put this...."less mature" palate than mom and dad! But, in this case, they were SPOT ON! The place is in a typical suburban strip mall, but unlike many strip mall restaurants, Magic Noodle is well-provisioned, clean, and nicely decorated! I particularly loved the art on the wall, the entry chandeliers, and the open kitchen! From anywhere in dining room, you can see the star of the show coming to life in the hands of a well-trained pro: noodles upon noodles upon noodles, constantly being rolled, stretched, pulled, and twisted! It's mezmerizing to watch, over and over again! The absolute BEST entertainment for a foodie! We ordered a couple appetizers, and everyone got their own entree. An awesome autonomous robot weaved through the aisles and dropped off our appetizers like a PRO! How cool is that?!?!? And the star of the show - these lovely, hand-stretched noodles - showed up in the various forms we ordered! Wifey agreed that my Dandan noodles won the night, but all of our entrees were fantastic! I was starving, and woofed down my entire bowl! But, the other three had enough for leftovers, so I'd rate the portions as strong! I get the feeling this place is going to get a LOT of our Chinese business in 2023! Food = 5/5 Facility = 4/5 Service = 3/5 Ambiance = 4/5 Value = 4/5

Taylor C.

Yelp
The hand pulled noodles were so fresh and yummy. Generous portions and an overall nice place. Our service was great she gave us helpful reccomendations for our first visit.

Yvette F.

Yelp
This is necessary for you. particularly on a chilly day. It's tasty, it makes you feel good, and the robot cat that brings your apps is cute. This was a pleasant surprise because I adore duck. We would probably visit once a week if I didn't live forty-five minutes away. Strongly advised.

Elle R.

Yelp
Restaurant is nice, smaller than I would have thought but very comfortable. Being in a small space I found the atmosphere to be quite loud but the establishment wasn't even half-full around 1:00pm on a Friday. Appetizers are served by a fun cat-like robot and the teenagers and myself enjoyed it. The portion sizes for the entrees are HUGE! The hand-pulled noodles are pretty chewy but we found that our leftovers made the noodles a desirable consistency. Our server started out good but then I feel like it felt flat. She forgot our peanut sauce, didn't come to make sure our food was okay and my beer sat empty for the whole meal before she even noticed and offered another. Our bill was messed up, she charged my card with another table's entree. The entree that was added was a $15.00 entree, the manager told the server to offer us a $20.00 gift card OR reverse the charge and re-run the card with the correct amount. It was clear they didn't really want to have to reverse everything and run it again but that's what I chose and didn't receive any grief/attitude with my preference, which I appreciated. We will return again but we definitely won't be ordering so much food.

Yelp
I took a little drive south in search of noodles and I wasn't disappointed. I started out with the crab Rangoon. It was delicious and I would definitely get it again. The Rangoon was sweet and paired perfectly with the sweet and sour sauce that was very vinegary. This was probably one of my favorite crab Rangoon that I've tried recently. And as a cute bonus, it was delivered via robot. For entree's, I got the magic beef soup and the signature stir fried noodles. The magic beef soup consists of Beef stock, sliced beef, pickled radish, cilantro, & scallions. You also get your choice of noodles and I went with the classic. The beef broth was excellent and so flavorful. The pickled radish gave it some texture and a nice acidity. The noodles were top notch, perfectly chewy. I didn't realize that they had chopsticks and I didn't inquire so I had some issues eating this with the provided spoon. So definitely ask for chopsticks. The signature stir fry consists of Chicken, beef, shrimp, onions, cabbage, broccoli, & carrots. You also get a noodle choice and I went for the mid round. There was a good amount of meat and fresh veggies. Again, the noodles were delicious. However, the soup way outshined the stir fry so while it was good, I'd probably get the soup when I go back.

Yelp
The robot, the food, the ambiance!!!! We went once but everything was perfect!!! Service: 4 stars Food: 5 stars Ambience: 4.5 stars

Yelp
I have always wanted to go here but most of my foodie friends either went already or wasn't interested. Luckily, I was in the neighbor and asked my boyfriend if he wanted to go check it out. From the outside, it doesn't look like much, but once you go in, it's small and quaint. We didn't need to wait that long, we were seated right away around 1PM. We must have beat the lunch rush. We got pretty good seats to see the hand pull noodles and how they cooked it as well. However, I think the booth seats are better for more privacy than the seating on the floor. I chose the magic noodle soup and my boyfriend got the shrimp/pork wonton noodle soup. The noodles were fresh and nicely size. But I'm sure you can picked you noodles if you asked. My bowl of soup came with beef, tripe, porkchop, fried egg, and pickled radish. Everything compliment each other. I don't know if I was hungry, but I ate everything. It was good. I mean why else would we come here, definitely got the noodles. Also, forgot to mention, we got the appetizer, The fried calamari, which I do not recommend, it was a bit tough to chew. If we were to come here again, we will probably need to be in the area, but we definitely wouldn't drive out of the way for this especially if we are coming from Zona Rosa.

Yelp
So I am obsessed with this place. Here are some reasons : 1. They make all their noodles in house like a little factory. 2. They have an adorable little robot that comes around and delivers your food. 3. The noodle bowls are incredible. I can't wait to go back. It's such a cute little place and they have so many customizable options. We are planning on going back and trying more of their options. Also a side note: if you are a takoyaki connoisseur like myself - I would avoid it here.

Yelp
@magicnoodlekc is really good! The noodles are really hand made for every order. We had the duck Ramon and Dan Dan noodles - would get both again. I went with thicker noodles on the Dan Dan, so worth it. The Ramon broth was full of flavor and clear as can be. I will warn you that ordering is a little confusing and the server didn't do a great job explaining how to order. The first page of the entree menu has a list of items and noodle sizes. It makes you think you can build your own. Not true! These are extras that you can add and the types of noodles you can get with any of the entrees. Also the robot serving my apps is an extra I don't need but it is cute. For apps I would get the scallion pancakes and octopus balls again!

Yelp
I've seen this place all over my Instagram and had to check it out! It was a bit of a drive for me but definitely worth it. You'll see the chefs making the noodles which is pretty cool! Also, they have the famous robot waiters that will bring out your drinks and appetizers. I got the wonton dumplings with noodles there and it was so soft and delicious! I will definitely come here more often if it wasn't that far!

Yelp
Service was excellent. I ordered chicken fried noodles $14. It was a little too salty Noodles were excellent very little chicken, so I did not feel that the price was correct for mostly a plate of noodles. I would order something that had significant protein and let the noodles be secondary

Yelp
Overall it's worth a try. I've heard of this place from my other Taiwanese friends, and the comment from them includes the cute robot server and the varieties of handmade noodle. They though the flavor is ok, not too bad. They said it's still worth a try since there is no other places like this restaurant having this unique service that Taiwanese miss so much in KC area. So today I drove 25min to this place and got the two most well known Chinese "beef noodle soup" N1蘭州拉麵,N3紅燒牛肉麵 for takeout. The front desk staff was really friendly and helpful. Then I drove another 25min back to home with my order. First I noticed that the broth are the same but it shouldn't be the same for this two extremely different genera of beef noodle soup. One is more light and clear (N1) the other should be thick and dark or even added some spicy oil. The noodle type I choose are flat noodle. And when I tried the N1 first, I gave the broth and the beef some credit. But I can't finish the noodle. Yes, the portion of the noodle is generous, so does the meat, but it's the texture that made me feel bored and starting to feel I am eating the cooked dough. I am not sure if they cut the dough then pull on two side to make the flat noodle (usually it needs several round of pulling) or just make a dough ready then press it to a big flat circle and cut it into the noodle. The cut one is less chewy and the pulling one has the best texture for beef noodle soup. So I agree with all my Taiwanese friend that this restaurant brings the great culture about noodle restaurant from Asia to the KC area. It's definitely a pleasure to see the noodle is made in-front. But I probably will only revisit when I am around this restaurant or there is a gathering set up in this restaurant.

Yelp
Magic Noodle was fantastic and worth the wait! Food - hand pulled noodles to order and they were delicious. I had the pork dumpling with classic noodle soup. Very delicious balance of flavors. I will be back to try more soon hopefully. Service- service was interesting ro it delivered our appetizers which was kinda cool. But our server I think was very busy and hard to get her attention. But that is ok in the end because we came for the food. The host staff were very friendly and helpful.

Yelp
Went here recently for lunch. Great selection on the menu everything from chicken to duck to tripe. Many options on noodles and additions. I got the duck. It was great. Hand made noodles with a lot of flavor. I was sold already but when I saw they had soup base and hot pepper mash on the tables to boost your own personal flavor level, I was completely satisfied. All these places use bullion so don't be too upity to accept it. No one around here is boiling fish heads. To top it all of, they had a cute little robot serving the appetizers. We had dumplings for appetizers, they were great too.

Yelp
First time here, heard it was great from many, so had to try. it. And I have to say the food lived up to the hype. Definitely make sure you make a reservation. The restaurant is small and gets pack quickly. I appreciate that there's pictures on the menu. The pictures made it really easy to order. You can watch the chefs make all your food right there. Everything I ordered today was really good. The broth for the soup reminds me of pho a little bit. The noodles was perfectly cooked. The meat was tender. The stirfry was good, same the noodles and shrimp was cooked perfectly wasn't overcooked. The pork gamo was tasty. Meat and fat was well balance. Loved the crab rangoon, brought me back to my childhood. Calamari was a disappointing. It was over cooked. But all in all I would recommend to try.

Yelp
Great hand pulled or hand shaved noodles. The Magic Beef bowl was good- loved the pickled radishes (reminded me of water kimchi radishes), and the thin-sliced beef was good. I ordered mid-flat noodles, and they were delicious. I preferred the chewiness of the stir-fried noodles in the second dish we ordered, but they were still very good. The broth tasted like curry, which I wasn't expecting. Our order of takoyaki arrived via robot, which is just too much fun. They were more like fish balls than pancake balls, but still very good. The stir-fried hand-shaved noodles were the star of the night. We ordered the "triple b" (short for the included braised beef brisket?) with added pork belly. The brisket was a little tough, but these noodles with pork belly alone would be absolutely perfect. I didn't check, but if the pickled radishes were available on the side, those should definitely be included.

Yelp
Magic noodle is KC's hip new, hand-pulled noodle joint! Yes, that's right. You heard me ... "hand-pulled noodles!" My husband and I were beyond excited to try out this new noodle place and were even more stoked when we saw that they made their noodles fresh in house. First things first, their decor and ambiance were on point - traditional oriental wallpaper on the walls, beautiful chandeliers at the entryway, and a glass window so you can see their chefs working their noodle magic. They have a cute little robot that delivers the appetizers to each table and you can't go wrong with Pros: - hand-pulled noodles (did I already say that? Well, yeah, they're just that good) - deep flavored broth - decently priced - pleasantly al dente thick noodles Cons: - they put pickled daikon radishes in their noodle soups (definitely not the best combination in my opinion) - slightly undercooked regular noodles - the meat in their beef noodle soup was way too overcooked and tasted gamey Be sure to ask for the radish on the side (you can thank me later).

Yelp
Continue to love this place. Expansive menu, noodles, rice bowls, wide variety of appetizers. Once you walk in you kinda know this is different. Even the restrooms are marble-ish walled! Food - this time I got the Pork Belly with Noodles - Braised pork belly, bok choy, & scallions, Chicken stock. Appetizer - Fried Calamari - good and chewy, nice batter (crunchy) and tasty dipping sauce Service is great, even the Robot (which only seems to serve one particular table) is polite.

Yelp
Living in downtown KC, a restaurant has to be extremely good for me to drive 30 min out of the way. Magic Noodle is just that. I have gone several times now and have left feeling fully satisfied every time. Maybe it's a good thing that I don't live too close, because I may be caught here way too much. Our most recent trip down south to Magic Noodle was on a cool rainy day, which was too perfect for a big bowl of noodle soup. The interior is very relaxed and clean. Their kitchen is in open view from the dining area, and it's fun to watch the chef create the hand pulled noodles right in front of you. I have tried several of the noodles including The Magic, Triple B, and Magic Beef. You can't really go wrong with any of these. If I had to choose one I would definitely recommend the Triple B. The juicy braised beef chunks just ranks supreme over the sliced beef. This place is definitely worth trying out! I cannot wait to go back especially as the weather cools.

Yelp
Our 8 year old granddaughter recommended and we were not disappointed. After the server took our order, they have Bella, the AI robot deliver your appetizer and later our desert, Chinese donuts to our table. The portion sizes and prices were great and food was tasty.
