BEST APPLE FRITTER IN SF!! Definitely worth an early morning visit for a warm apple fritter, as well as all their other donuts. And the folks that run the place are incredibly nice, we look forward to going every week!

We live 3 hours north of San Francisco and seen Magic Donuts online and had to make a stop to try their sourdough donuts. Flavor texture was amazing. Will definelty come back next trip.

Not from the area, had to be with someone at the hospital down the street a few days. Walked down to Paklab for a burger one night and saw the donut shop. Couldn't wait to come back the next morning for donuts! A fantastic variety for a little truck!!! The custard filled croissants were DREAMY!!!!!! That was the first thing I ate. The croissant had the perfect flakiness but didn't fall apart, and the custard was sweet but not too sweet. Per-fec-tion!! We've had donuts from hundreds of places and these were THE. BEST. Sometimes donuts leave a greasy film on the roof of your mouth, or you taste sugar and old grease. Not these. They were so amazingly fresh!! The couple that owns/runs the truck was friendly and genuine. If I lived nearby, I'd go there all the time. Something about the unique, open environment (surrounded by big city professional buildings), the bay morning chill in the air, the friendly folks that welcomed me. Everything about my experience was exactly what I needed. I wish them continued success!!

January 2025 Visit #2: Tried a maple buttermilk bar, a raised donut with chocolate frosting+ 🥜, and the Jan special which is devil's food cake with 🥥 and cream cheese frosting. My new favorite is the buttermilk bar 😋. Great texture and buttermilk flavor. Will be back for more fritters and buttermilk bars. January 2025: Stopped by on a Sunday afternoon and discovered a new food truck. We were walking by and saw the sandwich board for donut 🍩! They have an extensive list of donuts from cake, raised, maple bars, fritters! They ran out of the blueberry fritters so we tried a mini cherry 🍒 fritter. It was super delicious 😋. Not overly sweet and tasted very fresh. Would definitely come back again for more fritters! Also got a medium roast coffee. It was a little more bitter than I normally expect from a medium roast coffee. But it still went well with my 🍒 fritter! Overall, a great new addition to the Park Lab section!

I had to get a custom order for an event at the Salesforce tower nearby and Tomoko DID NOT disappoint. The logos looked AMAZING. The donuts were gone in less than two minutes, (literally) and someone mentioned that the allergen free donuts were "the best donuts I've ever had". Everything was an absolute hit. Thanks Tomoko!

I brought some out of town coworkers to Spark Social for an evening and was so glad I stopped at Magic Donuts at the end of the night—it’s the best donut I’ve had in the city! The custard donuts are filled to order and are delicious. I’m rarely in this part of the city but will be back specifically to get my donuts from now on!

Loved all of the donuts I tried but I thought the sourdough donuts were extra special ✨🍩 Really unique flavors and thoughtful pairings, the sourdough makes the donut less sweet and a bit tangy! Amazing that they also offer so many options for people who have dietary restrictions and food sensitivities. Such kind and lovely service too. Definitely come try some magical donuts if you’re around mission bay!

The kind souls at Magical Donuts are serving real San Francisco magic in edible form. These stunning creations are so freaking delicious! The dough is moist and lite, perfectly formed, meticulously decorated, and will make your mouth water at first sight. The sourdough donut is my favorite; the nostalgic sourdough tang paired with the delicate sweet glaze is perfection that tastes like home. This review is long overdue! We've been coming to Magical Donuts since they opened, and they've become a regular part of our lives. We always joke that we're the night crew since we usually swing by in the evenings, and it's become this comforting little ritual we look forward to. Me, my husband, and our toddler son all absolutely love their donuts! They're ridiculously good--soft, fluffy, and somehow still fresh even after a couple of days (if we can manage not to eat them all right away). But what really keeps us coming back isn't just the donuts--it's Tomoko, Simon, and Seika (and their son when he visited!). They're the sweetest people and make the whole experience even better. You can tell how much care they put into everything. For our son's 2nd birthday, we ordered customized Kiki's Delivery Service donuts, and they were beyond perfect! Magical in every way--almost too pretty to eat (but of course we did, and they were delicious)!

I'd give this spot 4.5/5! Magical donuts is a pretty solid spot! We got their chocolate crumb rise and their cinnamon crumb cake. Personally we enjoyed the cake donut version more than the rise donut. It's the baking soda that brings a more dense, chewy, SOFT consistency. The rise donut was great in flavor but more donut consistency - airy from the yeast. I'd give the cake donut 5/5 and the rise donut 4/5. Definitely want to come back to try out the different flavors in the cake version. Price - we paid ~$3 for each donut. It wasn't too bad given they are quite filling and DEEEEEELICIOUS. Staff - no staff per se but the owner was taking her time to explain the difference between cake vs rise donuts, what was popular, what was limited version, and new flavors. Super friendly and welcoming!! Ambiance - cute food truck that had a lot of character. The location of where the food truck is an interactive space that allows for other food purchasing variety where you can lounge and play games. Great SF vibes for enjoying the outdoors.

When I tell you these things are magical what an understatement. The owners are Amazing friendly and compassionate. Willing to help they have such a variety of donuts. The cinnamon roll was mouth dropping. We can't wait to visit again and pick up a half dozen of cinnamon rolls on our next visit out. There was plenty of seating and such a calm atmosphere. This is the most amazing donut truck ever. Their branding is so eye catching and they're true to their word. The donuts are simply magical. The lady working there is also incredibly friendly. I got a variety of donuts that included a cinnamon twist, sugar raised, chocolate and strawberry sprinkles, sourdough, and glazed bacon bar. The owner also threw in a few donut holes as well, so generous! These are possibly the best donuts I've had. They're perfectly fluffy, not oily, and not insanely sweet. All around perfection. Cinnamon twist, bacon bar, and sugar raised donuts are my absolute favorites here. The sourdough was interesting, but I don't think I was a fan of the sour aftertaste paired with sweet. Donuts are also reasonably priced at around $2 per. I can't recommend this place enough.

Magical doughnuts is located in Park Labs. My coworkers and I are addicted. The doughnuts are truly magical, like every bite is pure deliciousness. Such a great addition to mission bay. My go to's are maple, crumb, honestly you can go wrong with any of them. The owner is a total sweetheart. She is a one woman's show and works hard. Her work is reflected in the deliciousness of the doughnuts. She uses high quality ingredients.

My bf has been bringing back donuts for the past week and I just had to know where they were coming from LOL. These are delicious! Seems like a super cute donut truck in Parklab Gardens across Spark Social. VERY dedicated to the rainbow theme. Seems to be run by one boss lady, who's so sweet and happy to give recommendations on daily specials. We've had a few of their yeast-raised (SO. FLUFFY. And not greasy at all) and sourdough (my bf's favorite, has a better chew and unique flavor), which have all been great. The frosting isn't overly sweet and tastes fresh. My favorites so far have been the regular vanilla and strawberry yeast-raised. Look forward to seeing what other flavors they cook up next :-)

Went on a Sunday mid morning, no line! Tried the Raised Glazed, Raised Chocolate Sprinkle's, Donut holes, and. Gluten Free Sprinkles. Overall, they were all fresh and very good. I have a fav donut place but it's across the city but Magic Donuts delivers very good tasty donuts for a fraction of the city prices and it's one block from my home! Can't beat that! I love supporting local businesses, so please support this one as it would be disappointing to lose the ONLY donut shop (great $$) in the Mission Bay neighborhood!

OMG! Yum! Every donut we have tried here has been excellent - but my favorite? The blueberry gluten-free donuts! I can't wait to taste what they have tomorrow. There is almost always a joyful surprise. - Magical!

Magic Donuts is easily the best donut spot I've ever been to. The donuts are insanely good--soft, fresh, and perfectly sweet without being too much. They nail all the classics (the glazed is unreal), but their creative flavors are where they really stand out. The staff is super friendly, and the whole place has a great local vibe that makes you want to support them. I've been here a few times now, and every single visit has been amazing. If you're anywhere near Magic Donuts, do yourself a favor and stop by.

I was just crossing by Blue Bottle and saw a colorful Magical Donuts sign. I wandered into Parklab Gardens and there it was all lit up in neon - the Magical Donuts food truck! What a perfect setting for a perfectly lovely little donut shop. Lots of choices, and (so far) all delicious. And the woman who runs it is also amazing. Says she just loves making donuts, and it shows. I have tried raised, cake, vegan - all quite good. Even done large orders for the office (and am now the most popular guy here). Be sure to stop by. She is open super early till about 2:00, then re-opens at 5:00 for an evening fix.

The donuts here are not only magical but are made with love. Made fresh right in the truck every morning. Pictured is the Ridiculous Crumb...so amazing. I'd have a picture of the Moab(Peanut butter frosting with Butterfinger crumbs) but I ate it it was so good. Donut holes are excellent! First time I've had sourdough donuts and they are absolutely bomb. Great people who care about sharing their talent with the world. 10 stars!

I have gone here now 4-5 times. Everything I have eaten has been great. SourDough, love the texture and thickness Crumble Apple Fritter Strawberry Glaze Cinnamon Twist. Doughnuts are not oily, light and fluffy. this easily could be a bimonthly stop for me if not more.

Magical donuts is magical! What a delicious experience. The nicest people this morning. The raised crumb is hands down the best one, the boys loved the maple glazed with bacon. The jelly filled was yummy. All over a fantastic experience with just the nicest people running the truck. Both the boys loved the raised with berry glaze.

Absolutely delicious! Had a chocolate old fashioned and a crumb they were both super yummy, just exactly right. Everyone who works here is very sweet and nice. Family business.

We were so stoked to see donuts nearby! This place has easily become our Saturday ritual! The buttermilk donut and the sprinkle donut are delicious. You also can't beat the price. The folks who run this business are very welcoming and sweet. 10/10 would recommend this.

The best donuts I've had in this city. Hands down. The owner puts her heart and soul into these creations. I'm a regular here... more than I'd like to admit. Most recently, I asked Tomoko to cater cinnamon rolls for my daughter's first birthday and they were beyond excellent. Truly amazing. Old-fashioned cinnamon rolls with butter, cinnamon sugar, and topped with thick cream cheese frosting. The closest I've had to her rolls is from a small stand in Mariposa, CA (makes me homesick) but Tomoko has them beat. A must try if you're in the area.

Excellent service and event better donuts!! I reached out to Magical donuts for a large corporate event for early morning pickup. The donuts were absolutely beautiful and delicious! Everyone commented on how good they smelled, and they disappeared in minutes. 10/10, I definitely recommend Magical Donuts for large parties and corporate events, they do excellent customization.

Was excited but skeptical when I saw sandwich board announcing a donut spot at ParkLabs. Texted my colleague who stopped by and picked up a maple glazed - my Bob's gold standard for measurement. Met expectations! Welcome to the neighborhood.

We took a bite and had to walk back for more. Light, airy, delicious doughnuts. Do you need to hear more? This place is more than just a bite of happiness! Magical for sure, Tomoko is a magician.

Great donuts best I've had in a long time! The owners were so nice and because it was our first time they were patient with us in explaining their most popular items! We tried a variety and even got the cinnamon rolls she let us know her recommendation for reheating it as well! Ifs I am back in town we got our quick breakfast treat!

The cake donuts here are delicious, highly recommend if you prefer a moist and soft texture. Not overly sweet either. Nice location too!

Best donuts in the city! The yeasted donuts are light, fluffy and perfectly sweet. The cake donuts are moist and tender. The sourdough donuts add a little bit of chew. All are terrific. Don't confuse this place with Magic Donuts on Mariposa - these are terrific. My favorites: plain glazed, chocolate frosted, blueberry frosted. Yum.
