Magick City

Discovered this intimate, DIY venue when friends from CDMX DJ’d… mixed crowd, all inclusive, has a bit of a drug scene (but you can still have fun even if that’s not for you!).

A true hidden gem. Check their Instagram to see when they are having parties. It's the only DIY venues of it's kind. If you are looking for the realest Brooklyn vibes look no further.

"Update Below" After receiving that funny retort I had to change my review to a five 🌟 I also would like to add that I did enjoy my time at the venue and found the outside decorations nice. After the show everyone was sitting down relaxing outside smoking and having a blast everyone was allowed to just be themselves. The hosts were very nice and the selection of beverages and such were priced accordingly.

Excellent Negotiation with the Manager! I sent out a lot of meeting room requests. A sales manager connected with me through emails. We worked things out and made this Deaf Professional’s dream come true. Emails provide the best communication accessibility as it is helpful to write back and forth. Looking forward to continuing to work with this sales manager again!

Chill community center, good vibes. I'm a big fan of the vending machine there. NASA brought some rocks from the moon to this machine if you catch my drift.

What a vibe. Seriously one of the most unique and viby spaces in NYC. And God the drinks, Mombucha, coffee, agar. Great for events, knife fights, bubble baths, dreaming, exercise, spinning. The works!! They also have a commercial kitchen.

Ruining the lives of everyone that lives in those neighborhood. Can't even imagine a place so inconsiderate of the noise and 70 people that are screaming into the streets. Can't imagine anyone who runs this has a soul.

Just because you gave me water at 3 am for my friends bc the the bar wouldn't help us out. Dig the vibe and love the atmosphere, im taking my party here now

This little coffee shop is positioned perfectly on the way to the Pulaski Bridge from Manhattan Ave. It's a cafe in the front and a food-related startup incubator in the back. Pretty cool concept. The Kampuchea looks great too. They also have a few light food items. Definitely not your average coffee shop. Lot of good vibes. These guys will do well.

During COVID they have some nice outdoor seating. They sell delicious treats. Not to mention the Kombucha!! It's called Mombucha and it's absolutely delicious. They have flavors you haven't tasted before. Would definitely recommend checking it out.

I visited Magick City on February 10th for a dinner party hosted by an up and coming comedian/podcaster and I have to say it was one of the best hidden gems in Greenpoint. Upon walking up to the venue I had no idea what I was in for because the outside is slightly deceiving, but when entered the space, I immediately felt at home and relaxed. The space itself was set with very low lighting for a warm and exciting vibe and the atmosphere screamed of charm. The kitchen was right off of the main room and the larger than life projecter screen came in handy as the host played throwback music videos to set the tone for the night! I had a wonderful experience here and even had multiple people ask me about the space via social media because they were so intrigued. We had a seated dinner with over 40 people in attendance and space was not tight at alI with 10-15 people at each table. I hope this space gets more use because it is the hidden gem the world needs! I also believe there was a staff member from Magick City beyond the staff the host hired who was very helpful and made all the guests feel very comfortable. Thanks again!

Place is amazing some of the best pastries and amazing vegan delights! Look forward to my breakfast every morning to get my started. Nothing like a cold brew and a vegan pop tart to start the day! Major thanks to Rich and the team for keeping me going!
