This is the worst experience I’ve ever had traveling to Mexico for over 25 years. The place is absolutely horrible.! we upgraded our room and then my wife got bit by a random dog. Had to miss work for over a month and the places just garbage.! as being a restaurant owner watching the way this place conducts themselves is absolutely disgusting. I can’t believe they can actually call themselves resort when you have to travel Miles in between each individual area even the steakhouse didn’t have any steak let alone even a pizza I do think the staff is trying to hang on. I would definitely never recommend this place. They say hot tubs, but there’s no heat. They shut down the pool and you have to get transit to each individual spot which makes zero sense and also their lobbies are not even open most of the time. Make sure to not walk cause you might get attacked by dogs.

We had an epic vacation at Maglen Resort. We booked the hotel last minute. When we walked in, we were pleasantly surprised. The views were breathtaking, the layout was spectacular, and the staff was friendly and extremely welcoming. The property is an oasis in the middle of the desert and it is extremely clean. Saul went above and beyond to assist us in every way possible to make our stay an unbelievable experience. We actually ended up staying one extra night because of our experience. We are definitely planning to revisit again. We highly recommend the Maglen Resort.

We had an amazing time. The staff, the landscape and the view of the mountain were epic. Saul went above and beyond to accommodate our stay. He has set a very high standard and expectations for any of our future vacations. It will be very hard to duplicate. Thank you for your great hospitality.

Great resort at Valle de Guadalupe!! Stay for the breakfast at Huevo Republic, for its own winery and beer factory, for a great culinary experience at Yumano restaurant. A definitely must.

This was awful! We had bed bugs, there is a full bed, for a couple that’s unaccetable. The shower never got hot, we could hear every word of the neighbors even though they were speaking quietly. Don’t be fooled by the picture of the pool. It was cloudy, dirty and I would never go in that water. When we asked for a refund they said no and the manager told us it was our fault for not touring the property before checking in and offered us a free wine tasting as compensation. I would not recommend staying here.

Beautiful and well manicured landscaping, furnishings, decor, and interior design. I liked the spaciousness of the bathrooms. If you drive from San Diego border, you can take the toll road and arrive in less than 2 hours. There is a gated entrance, a lobby check in, a few restaurants, a bakery, a Cafe, a spa with massage and facials, bike rental, wine tasting room, a brewery and gift shop on the resort grounds. The staff were very polite, and informative. Most staff is bilingual. All locations on site were exceptionally clean, and maintained. My preference would be to have at least 1 more towel in the room, and a TV might be nice. The wifi in my area was reliable. The grounds are spread out, if you don't have a car it will be a dusty, hilly walk to get to the lobby / brewery from opposite ends of the resort (depending where your room is). Thank you for the refillable fresh water bottle in our room. The resort is quiet and romantic, and weddings are hosted here. There are places to sit and chat around the resort. It is near driving distance to other local wineries and restaurants. The pools are not heated but there is at least 1 jacuzzi that is heated hot tub.

Our experience at Maglen was amazing. Customer service is out of this world .. their goal is to have the guest fall in love with the place and it happens. We have fallen in love with this place and its people. Carlos at the main desk made sure our stay was the most amazing from the room to the food.. spa and wine experience. If we could give more stars we would.

The location is good, Very quite Felt very secure The Villa where we stayed seemed outdated, the personal that helped where very helpful The only thing was we found empty bottles in the little Fridge Broken curtains And the worse parte Cockroaches everywhere! The concept is great Just need them to update the Rooms with good workmanship, clean the rooms Better and get rid of the Cockroaches!
