What a delightful brunch experience! The café is beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean, creating a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere. The service was excellent, every staff member we met was kind, polite, and attentive. Our host was especially friendly and hospitable, making us feel valued and right at home from the moment we arrived. As for the food, absolutely delicious. The pancakes and French toast were exceptionally soft and well-prepared. In fact, the French toast was one of the best I’ve ever had. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a top-notch brunch in a lovely setting.

Yum! My husband and I stopped in here for breakfast & had a great experience. There was a line but it moved quickly and our food (2 Norwegian salmon Benedict’s) & cappuccinos were delicious. Love that they serve mixed greens with the eggs instead of more bread/potatoes. Menu has a lot of variety and the option to have items à la carte as well. Staff was kind & friendly and made sure that we felt comfortable and had our needs met. Love the holiday decor too! A nice festive touch during breakfast is always welcome. Highly recommend if you’re in the area!

Loved this diner! Very centrally located. The stuff is amazing, so polite and helpful. The place is always crowded but they manage to find seats for everyone, even if you need to wait in line for a few minutes. Nicely decorated, gives you a warm, cozy feeling. As for the food, this is a 10/10 in variety, quantity and quality. Oh and the coffee is really great (not sure about the filter one but espresso was a blast!). Prices are normal for a place of its category.

I had a wonderful breakfast at Magnin and it was absolutely worth the wait. The food was amazing, fresh, and full of flavor, and the ambiance made the whole experience even better. There was a bit of a wait to be seated for breakfast, but once we were in, it was clear why this place is so popular. I had ordered a decaf mocha, but the first one brought out was regular. When I asked if it was decaf, our waitress was honest and told me it wasn’t, then quickly replaced it with decaf. I really appreciated her honesty because I’ve been to other restaurants where they served regular even after I specifically asked for decaf, and that gives me heart palpitations. Her attentiveness made me feel cared for and safe, and the quick correction didn’t take away from the experience at all…it actually made it better. Our waitress was super sweet, friendly, and provided excellent service the entire time. Between the delicious food, warm atmosphere, and great service, I highly recommend Magnin for breakfast.

We were guest at the Hilton across the street and had breakfast in the last few days here. Consuelo was our waiter and she is excellent. The Magnin cafe has all the check marks needed to be an exceptional cafe, good food reasonable prices, with excellent service.The steak and eggs are excellent, Ricotta package are a must, The salmon with cream cheese egg Benedict are truly special.

Went there about an hour before closing for dinner with a group of 4, staff was friendly and attentive. We the rattitouie and creamy pesto fettuccine, along with french fries on the side. extremely recommend. good portions and so yummy.

Super cute spot! The San Francisco omelette was really good, and the portion sizes were great. Love the atmosphere and background music - very cozy and peaceful, like a little French-inspired escape from the city. The service was so friendly! If I lived here I’d visit regularly.

Having sampled the breakfast for a couple of days, we also returned for an evening meal, or two. We ended up having breakfast here every day as the food was so good, and the service even better. Food is presented beautifully, and always an abundance of portion. Yvonne usually waited on us, but all the girls were excellent and attentive. A simple review does not do this place justice, it is a MUST place to dine at when in SF.

All the employees were incredibly friendly and professional. What stood out the most to me was the food though. We got the ricotta pancakes, French toast, hasbrowns, chicken sausage, and toast (iced mocha was really good too!). Everything was incredible- and if I'm visiting SF I would highly recommend this place. I know if/when I come back I am making sure to come here again!

Once again, this has become my go-to place. My friend and I hit up this place for dinner before walking up the street to take in a show at the SF Playhouse. Everything I have had is terrific! This last time I had the salmon dish (crispy, juicy, delicious) Working my way through their menu! Will let you know more as I taste more! Service is always quick and friendly. Ambiance is quiet and spacious.

Stumbled upon this place near my hotel and it became a new favorite from the first bite. Walked in and was greeted immediately and able to get a table. Went with the ribeye which was perfectly seasoned, perfectly cooked, and absolutely melted away. Juicy but with a great crispy sear. The potatoes on the side were crispy on the outside but cooked to perfection on the inside. The service was really attentive. Really couldn't ask for more. A bit quiet on this Monday evening, and was nice to relax/unwind with a glass of red and the soft oldies playing in the background. Will absolutely be back.

Clean bright and filled with good ol holiday cheer! Huevos Rancheros Corn tortillas with two eggs, any style, ranchero sauce, beans, chorizo, Kot cheese, cilantro, and jalapeño peppers. Interesting style here, as it emulates street tacos - some sloppy goodness here. Bistro Bacon Egg and Avocado toast Brioche bread with crispy, bacon, poached, eggs, avocado, pesto sauce, and vinaigrette. Except the bacon was missing (see menu confusion, below), this is a fresh, yummy and healthy option. Shakshuka Space, tomato, and bell pepper stew with poached eggs, goat, cheese, and fresh herbs. Served with warm focaccia. Service was slow but super nice (smiles go a long way during the holidays). Another issue was we found out later that there is a different brunch vs lunch menu - and so that wasnt communicated at all to us - which eventually led to a mistake in an order which could have been easily avoided. However, I would definitely come back knowing the food is excellent. That's all.

New lunch place. They have a great seafood salad sandwich. They have a happy hour that we will love to try.

During a delightful day taking in the festive Christmas season in San Francisco, we were hungry for lunch! The restaurant was slow and almost completely empty. We were greeted as we entered and offered drinks immediately. I tasted a couple different beers and settled for a cold, refreshing Lagunitas Pilsner on tap. We ordered the beef burger which was really tasty, prepared perfectly! We also enjoyed the San Francisco Club sandwich with fresh crab and shrimp, it was delicious too. The fries were hot and crispy too! The food took approximately thirty minutes to ve served but was hot and tasty. Our server never checked up on us and our food but she was friendly. I would recommend dining here. They have excellent food and great choices! The ambiance is very peaceful with classic Christmas music playing in the background. The restaurant was decorated nicely for the Christmas season!

Stopped by for brunch and was so glad I did. The ambiance is nice, very simple but clean. The food was great! I had the San Francisco Benedict and it was sooo good! My husband had the pancakes and they were also delicious! Coming back again!

This cafe was just up from our hotel and it's was sooo darling! We went to grab breakfast before we head home and the waitress and staff were so welcoming! The Benedict regular and San Francisco was so delicious, and I loved that it was served with greens!!!. We also got the matcha and chai teas!!! They were so delicious and delightful!!! I loved the opened kitchen and bar when you walk in. I also appreciate the booth sitting. I'm all about the big windows in a cafe. We will definitely be back!! Thank you for the great service!!!

We had a great breakfast at this brand new little cafe. It's spotless and comfortable inside. The staff was exceptionally and sincerely friendly. The current menu is limited. We enjoyed the California Breakfast and Avocado Toast & Egg breakfast immensely. It's worth the walk from Union Square or the theatre district and convenient to Powell Station.

Service was great. Ambiance was nice too. I liked the jazz music. I had the ricotta pancakes and they were delicious. I also ordered a side of chicken sausage. I don't think I would order the chicken sausage again. I loved this place and will definitely be back.

This is simply a great little diner. All the usual breakfast things and the waitstaff is so nice. He helped us figure a way to order differently to pay a bit less. Excellent omelet. Avocado toast with poached eggs was perfectly done, although it was a little too high to get my mouth around. Next time I will ask for the toast on the side to make it less high. Not a destination restaurant, but exactly what you want in a quality diner.

Yummy food- hash browns were crisp and not greasy, eggs were perfectly cooked, greens graced with delicious light lemony vinaigrette. Cappuccino just right as well.

You have to try this ricotta pancakes if you are in a mood for some sweet in the morning! So moist and fluffy! Just the right amount of blueberry compote on the top. The lemon zest adding some fresh accent! The restaurant ambiance is very cozy, have some vintage arts on the wall, and some cute Lego arts in the display cabinet. Good for family! Service is amazing, all the servers are so friendly! Big shoutout out to them ! Will come back soon

Pleasant atmosphere though almost empty due to downturn in hotel occupancy and shuttered businesses near and in SF Center, one block away. Food was good although chicken salad had dried out chicken with leathery texture. Affogato dessert was outstanding g. Service by friendly Colombia server was exceptional. Steak and burger were great

Cozy and cute. I walked in on a Sunday and was greeted by the hostess and quickly seated! I ordered the fettuccini pasta and it was delicious! It came with a side salad. Interested in coming back to try the burger and wings.

Brand new place. So good! Service was superb and the Penne Pasta was delish. Great prices and very close to local places to shop and visit. A must visit. Ambiance is very Paris.

This was the perfect place to end up my bday weekend, the service is excellent chelo and Charles made me feel like home, I have to come back my fave appetizer the Surf & Turf platter. Pretty much ignored by server even though place was empty. Chicken salad was ridiculous. 6 slices of paper thin, dry chicken on a bed of boring lettuce. Dressing so lemony made me cough. On top of that ice tea was $5. With tip and tax it was $60 for 2 person highly mediocre lunch. Won't be back.

Fantastic service. Excellent food. Great atmosphere. We love this place and will be back. Our server, Luis, was the best! He wore the most exquisite tie (that he made himself!).

Amazing that we were the only ones having an early dinner, because the food and service were fantastic. We both had the crispy duck, and it was flavorful with generous servings of potato and mushrooms.

Nice two pieces of grilled Pork Chops and large portions of stewed vegetables . Delicious! Nice music and feels like stepping into Paris.

Fantastic breakfast! The farmhouse breakfast was very filling and I ate every bit. I especially liked the marinara beans! The fresh squeezed OJ was delicious but maybe would have liked a bigger glass for $8.

I found this place near my hotel and the menu looked inviting and the prices more than reasonable for the city compared to others I have seen. I had the French Onion Soup and the Salmon and both were very good. Not a cooked spinach lover but have to say the way they cooked it was excellent and I ate it all. My server was a young lady who I believe was from Turkey and her name sounded like "Tuba" She was very attentive and her smile was lovely. Thanks for making my meal a nice one!

This place is amazing. The staff are friendly, the ambiance is great, and the prices are surprisingly reasonable for how nice the food was! And what a great happy hour deal-- super tasty burger + fries & a draft beer for $16 flat. I work at a hotel close by and will be recommending this place to our guests! Going to be returning for brunch sometime.
