Let me start by saying GPS on both Android and Apple take you to the parking lot for a different business on the street directly behind the cafe. The cafe itself has a comfortable family feel with warm lighting and a painted pterodactyl skeleton on the ceiling. Service was fantastic and made you feel welcome. If you are looking for the perfect snack, try the Mag Mud appetizer. It was by far the best chip dip ive had with the perfect balance of queso/pico/avocado. It came with a salsa that had a nice kick to it as well. For my main dish I selected the Royal Toast and ordered a side of 2 gingerbread pancakes. The pancakes were everything I expected with fluffy texture and the gingerbread aroma. The eggs were cooked perfectly and my side of bacon was delicious. The only fault to the entire dish was the french toast. It may have been a matter of individual preference but it was lacking nonetheless. The 3 other adults with varying tastes all tried it and said that it was missing something but we could not agree what ingredient. All in all everyone was served quality food at a great price. We will definitely be back next time we are in Austin.

Austin's hidden Gem!! 3 minutes from Downtown but miles away from the norm! Is it possible to be treated like a queen at 3 a.m.? After going to Magnolia Cafe on Lake Austin Blvd the answer is a resounding hell yes! For someone that works overnights there aren't very many options for good service.  This was not just good it was excellent. When I came in I was greeted with a smile and kindness from what I later found out was the manager, Ty. He gave me a brief rundown about the actual buildings history and how it came to be Magnolia Cafe. The menu was amazing I had a lot to choose from but went with the cheeseburger with home fries. I was not disappointed.  Both the burger and fries were cooked to perfection and it was served up in about 10 minutes.

Salmon lox n eggs is delicious!!! I recommend it. Eggs Benedict had runny whites. Hollandaise sauce was good. Wouldn’t order it again. Fruit bowl is ok. Coffee is good. Staff is super chill, Austin style. I’m going back for sure.

This place is a gem! The staff is super friendly and does a wonderful job assisting diners, the menu is BOMB - the fact that it's open 24 hours is awesome but that late night menu is extra rad. The queso is amazing, I had huevos rancheros and it was absolutely delicious. This road tripper will definitely be back, and will recommend that my friends and fam check it out! Can't wait for my next trip to Austin!

Always a great place for breakfast or brunch. Best in town!! I’ve been coming here since the 90s. Lox and Bagel my all time favorite. For lunch you can’t go wrong with the tuna salad. Every thing I’ve ordered here has been absolutely amazing.

Don't hesitate to try their chicken sandwich, it is very tasty & the fresh chips & salsa. I didn't like the taste of chicken taco. Their price are reasonable & a very professional manager with good service.

Always friendly service. Best blueberry cornmeal pancakes. The salsa is fresh and homemade and great on eggs. We also had the French toast and bacon. Go early because it can get crowded for breakfast.

Classic Austin dinner open 24/7. Excellent veggie options and modifications for all. Fast and friendly service. Parking lot gets very packed so plan for that.
