Magnolia Kitchen and Bar is a cozy little spot with modern stylish decor. The restaurant is nestled on a busy neighborhood corner in the Dupont circle area. From the beginning to end of the meal you will enjoy every part. For the Gin lovers start off with the cocktail, Tony and the Giant Peach. The gin and peach combination work very well together and create the perfect mix. Order a few appetizers such as the wings and shrimp devil eggs. They both left me wanting to order and eat more. For my main course I had the chicken and waffles. Although, when my meal first arrived to the table the panko fried chicken didn't look appealing to me, the dish made up for the lack of appearance in the great taste. You will definitely need a touch of syrup and butter but so does every great waffle. Before you leave you must end your meal with the bread pudding. Bread pudding is a favorite dessert of mine and this bread pudding now falls in my top five, absolutely delicious. I will definitely be back soon to see what they have to offer for dinner, have a Tony and the Giant Peach and of course order the bread pudding.

Great brunch! Clean and comfortable setting, delicious food, and an attentive staff made our late Sunday morning brunch a wonderful time. And yes, you can get Brussel sprouts for lunch...stop judging.

Been here a couple of times and it’s always been great. First thing first, you HAVE TO try the scarlet buzz. Coolest drink I’ve ever had! It’s hard to explain, but definitely an experience you only get if you try it for yourself. I ordered the Salmon (subbed the greens for potato fingers) with creamy orzo. The flavors complimented each other really well and it was the perfect amount of food. I’ve also ordered the crab crake sandwich, which was good but I preferred the salmon. Some good appetizers to try are their pigs in a blanket, beef sliders, tuna tartare, and steak and cheese tacos. Overall, the food is great and the staff is very friendly/welcoming. I highly recommend stopping by if you get the chance.

Stopped in for a quick bite after a meeting. Great Brussel sprouts and very good tacos. Several options to choose from and a very nice staff. A+ DuPont location.

This is a nice intimate place to go have a drink at the bar, dine in or outside. The food is fairly price. The chef has mastered the menu and you will not be disappointed with your order. From salads to THE best burger I have had in a very long time. This restaurant delivers and deserves no less than five stars. Parking is a little tricky but if your familar with d.c. you know that's nothing new. Its located in Dupont Circle so you can take the train. The restaurant is only a few steps from there. I highly recommend this restaurant!

Had drinks and apps here on a Friday evening. It was pretty crowded and hard to get a seat. Overall the atmosphere was chill. Bartenders and patrons were friendly. Drinks and food were fine.

The service and the food here are great! The staff was friendly and accommodating. I ordered the pan seared salmon and it was perfectly cooked and a sizeable portion for the price. The cocktail menu is unique. I ordered the Scarlet Buzz and it was refreshing and strong! Definitely will come back again!
