"Magnolia Market is a one-stop home-décor shop. There's good news for Fixer Upper fans: It's safe to assume owners Chip and Joanna Gaines have given each piece their stamp of approval. The store itself is wonderful, but Magnolia Market at the Silos' real draw is the sense of nostalgia and community. At the very least, make sure you pick up a seasonal candle to bring a little bit of the Magnolia Market home with you." - Tommie Ethington, Diana Oates

Stunning place! but seriously why charge for parking? Only $10 but still, you’re going to spend more money inside. Chip and Joanna did an amazing job here, it looks even better in person than on TV. So happy we made the trip!

I have mixed feelings about the Magnolia Market compound. It is absolutely stunningly beautiful. The flowers and sweet smelling roses and clean, clean grounds are so refreshing. All the little pretties in the shops are so tasteful. However, everything is so expensive. A lot of us cannot afford a $16 dish towel, a $6 cookie, or a $48 pot to plant something in. But, we can look and wish. Again, the grounds are beautiful, and there are nice, clean restrooms everywhere. The shops they have added hold much the same merchandise seen elsewhere. One of the most stately additions happens to be an old church that has been moved there and restored. I wonder if they have small weddings there? If you haven't been to the Silos, you need to go. It's a fun few hours, and they have brought a touch of magical charm to a part of Waco that was becoming very run down. Other shops, restaurants, and hotels opening in the area are adding to the grandeur of downtown Waco. And it all started with someone seeing possibilities when no one else did.

I've wanted to visit Magnolia Market, since Chip and Jo first opened it, years ago. We finally made it a priority and did a San Antonio to Dallas excursion. The silo district is cute, very well decorated and maintained, has a variety of stores, and is very family friendly with several activities for kids and adults. You could easily spend several hours here, shopping, eating, or just hanging out. All the staff we encountered were friendly and seemed happy to be working here. I think we visited every store. I was a bit surprised by all the guards wandering the property but happy to see the easy to find restrooms - so many touristy areas forget this necessity. The only real negative for me was that everything was extremely expensive. I bought a small candle, a dish towel, a pot holder, 5 little wooden souvenir magnets, and a post card, and my bill was over $100! There were several other things I would have liked to have, but I couldn't justify the price. We ate at the bakery, Magnolia Table twice, visited Hotel 1928, Baylor, the River, the Welcome Center, and found a few other attractions around town to keep us entertained for about 8 - 10 hours. Waco was a nice stop-over.

We had such a great time visiting the Magnolia Silos & Market! The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and everything was beautifully curated—from the shops to the gardens. The food trucks were a highlight (those cupcakes were unreal), and it was fun just relaxing on the lawn and soaking it all in. Definitely worth the trip for fans of Joanna Gaines or anyone looking for a charming, feel-good experience.

My second visit to Magnolia Market did not disappoint! As a guy who usually prefers throwing a frisbee to picking out throw pillows, I wasn't sure what to expect on my first trip, but now, it's surprisingly delightful. It's gotten much bigger since I was last there, yet it feels like it was always meant to be this vast, charming universe. Inside the main store, it's packed with genuinely cool stuff. My wallet, bless its little cotton socks, whispers "overpriced!" at every turn, but clearly, I'm just a simple guy from Minnesota in a world of discerning taste, because this place is perpetually bustling. The layout is airy, the aesthetics are spot-on, and the customer service is so top-notch, they practically anticipate your every design dilemma. But for me, the real magic happens outside. Picture this: free, icy cold water (a true blessing in the Texas heat!), a delightful collection of food vendors ready to tempt every palate, and two colossal green spaces (thank you, astroturf, for the perpetual lushness!) absolutely littered with beanbags and balls. While my wife was busy communing with shiplap, I was out there relaxing in the same space as my kids, ages 13 to 29, who were having a blast. Plenty of shaded tables, a sweet little chapel – it’s an outdoor paradise. Parking was surprisingly free and painless, which, if you've ever tried to park anywhere fun, feels like finding a unicorn. And if the on-site grub isn't calling your name, there are excellent restaurants nearby. My wife always leaves Magnolia Market with that special sparkle in her eye, ready to infuse a little Gaines-ian charm into our own humble abode, which is a win-win in my book. Normally, I might raise an eyebrow at the price tag, but Magnolia Market transcends all my usual penny-pinching. This place genuinely earns its five stars. If you're anywhere within a Texas-sized radius, you simply have to visit. Just be prepared to leave inspired... and perhaps a few dollars lighter, but totally worth it!

I've always wanted to visit Magnolia Market. We had some framily (friends we've chosen as family) visit for the weekend, so we collectively decided to visit. I highly do recommend visiting, if it's something you have been wanting to do. It is an absolutely gorgeous place; even on a cold Texas day. I'd imagine it's even more gorgeous in the spring/early summer. If you are wanting to shop, be prepared to spend a small fortune, as everything is quite over priced; in my opinion. That was expected however, since you're paying for the brand. All of the products I truly liked, were unfortunately not made here in the US, which is sad to me. I loved a lot of the candles as well, but none of them are 100% soy, they're all a soy blend. Another sad let down. Again, it is an absolutely gorgeous place to visit, and I truly am glad we visited, as it's another thing I can take off of my bucket list. I praise all of the, age-spanning, employees we encountered and spoke to, they were helpful, knowledgeable, and truly seemed to enjoy their jobs. Another bonus while visiting, is all of the fantastic photo ops they have!! They were absolutely worth it.

this was such a experience, the place wasn’t crowded but there were plenty of people there. Lots of things to do and a good amount of them for free, we got free coloring pages, fake tattoos, and played a game of wiffle ball. Only complaint I have is that if you are planning to eat, you have to come late in the day as the food trucks don’t open for a while, and everything there is very pricey, we’re talking 25$ for a fridge magnet.

While this place is aesthetically pleasing it is overpriced. I must admit there is alot of that people cute stuff but $30 for a small candle is ridiculous. I bought cookies and cupcakes for my kids and they didn’t eat them until later that evening. They were some of the most disgusting cookies I ever had. They were stale and tasted like cardboard. I was so disappointed that I paid $40 for 8 cookies. Yes you read that correctly. $40 for 8 cookies !!! Total rip off.
