This place just made me happy! From home shopping at Magnolia to cozy little cafés and walking around the Silos. Waco was such a fun experience. Chip and Joanna have created something truly special here. A well-done stop that’s definitely worth the visit!

Google
A welcome respite from the shopping flurry. And the drinks are good here, no just a touristy gimmick. Had an amazing strawberry and matcha drink. Huge order area that looked bigger than the dining area, but I think that's on purpose to draw you back outside into the community. Sweet design. Lots of windows. Lovely employees!

Google
Great pastries, great coffee, splendid ambiance. My wife and I got the ham and cheese croissant sandwich and the almond croissant. They both slapped, especially the ham and cheese one. We also ordered two of their seasonal drinks: the peach matcha drink and the Black Forrest mocha. Those were also fantastic. The cafe was clean and beautifully decorated, as you would expect of Chip and Joanna Gaines I suppose. Lots of outdoor seating options. I would definitely like to come back if I am ever passing through Waco again!

It’s been awhile since we’ve been in the area, and to our surprise there was a Magnolia coffee shop! So of course we had to check it out and try out some coffees! We were greeted with extremely friendly baristas and adorable merch. We picked up the 1905 syrup because I had a feeling we were going to enjoy the latte. I chose their seasonal drink which was the Black Forest Mocha (Cherry flavored mocha topped with cherry cold foam), and it was good but I enjoyed my husband’s choice more! He got The 1905 (House latte infused with toasted marshmallow, vanilla, and caramel). It’s subtly sweet, but not too overpowering where you can’t taste the coffee. We’re actually happy that we now have a bottle of their syrup so we can enjoy it at home too! Can’t wait to be back!

Google
Staff is very friendly and kind. They offer you their opinion on what you may want to drink. They are fast and efficient. The line moved very quickly and we got our beverages fast. They were delicious and hit the spot on a brisk breezy day. If you’re in the area I would recommend stopping in for a coffee

Google
Service was good and the atmosphere was nice. Comfy seating. Coffee and tea is not any better than a Starbucks or anything else. Way over-hyped because it's part of the whole magnolia farms thing. Went here thinking it was a nice coffee shop to work in and then realized it was more of a tourist stop. Would've rather gone somewhere less busy that has better drinks.

Google
The coffee and desserts were delicious. We loved looking through all the stores. The lawn games and the whole atmosphere is wonderful. The food trucks are a fun addition and the workers are very helpful and inviting.

Google
My wife, mother-in-law, and the kids all eat and drank and walked around to all of the different shops and stores. It’s a beautiful layout with plenty to see and do for a couple of hours.

Yelp
(Tom Cruise voiceover disguised as Luigi from "you ME & luigi") The vibe is bustling coffee press! It's like a movie set for an action scene. Perhaps, an après action scene. Brynn warmly greeted me! She is super nice! Strawberry Matcha. Refreshing said the IG model! Haha! Pistacchio Latte avec quatre shots! Of course, when in Waco. quad is the only way to replenish the caffeine deficit. Brynn said iced. Iced it is. Awesome! Ladies, it is like drinking an ice cream cone! A triple definite repeater! And they have Sparkling water on tap! Oui Oui, mademoiselle! It's not Topo; it's Magno! Would order everything again! Thanks, Brynn! Woohoo!

Yelp
Good coffee, I had the latte, The croissant cheddar & pepper muffin was really good, and they heat it up in an oven. Nothing better than hot fresh pastries! The line moves relatively fast, so don't be discouraged.

Yelp
One of my favorite things in life: coffee. What better place to start my first coffee review with than Magnolia Press. Not gonna lie... I'm biased with anything and everything Joanna Gaines touches. Freaking amazing! The staff was super friendly and we didnt have to wait very long to order either. Got our orders within minutes but even if it was longer I wouldn't have minded. So much to browse around and look at in there. It's beautifully designed and cleverly done. I absolutely love the choice of green for the paint work. Gorge. The interior is one thing but man oh man... the exterior is beyond beautiful. Such a nice, welcoming area... you can't help but want to lounge around/explore. I've been here twice now... if I lived in Texas (Waco), I'd probably be in the Silos area everyday. I've tried the seasonal iced tea and the seasonal coffee (iced and hot) here. Tea was refreshing and coffee was delicious! Perfect for my short visits there. Very satisfied. I wish we could have more areas like this in Fresno, CA. Come on Fresno, take notes!

Yelp
A chill coffee shop vibe. They offer coffee house type food also. We ordered the French press for two. The coffee was a good and mellow Blend. Prices are moderate. The service was ok.

Yelp
We got the seasonal Black Forest mocha. It was very good! Definitely a must stop at the silos!! I also enjoyed that they offer sparkling water! Of the few food and drink stops I'd say this one is a must!

Natalie B.

Yelp
Absolutely loved my visit to Magnolia Press! We came here twice because it was so good! This coffee shop is absolutely gorgeous, every detail feels warm and inviting and there is plenty of seating. The iced cinnamon latte was perfection and I wish I could go here every day. The staff were so hospitable and welcoming and my coffee came out super fast. My new favorite coffee shop, highly recommend!

Yelp
Excellent service - cold brew was delicious and the place was very cute. We will be back!

Yelp
We went on a tour of the Magnolia grounds. It was an extra treat to buy coffee to have there and some to bring home. I wish they offered a bigger assortment of baked goods.
google avatar

Yelp
Our first stop at the Silos on a hot morning had to be Magnolia Press. We got an iced latte, a hot 1905 latte, and the Magnolia Press chocolate cake. Both coffees were solid, with the 1905 latte being on the line of the right amount vs. a bit too sweet, and the chocolate cake turned out to be a Ding Dong, if you remember those from childhood snack packs. It was good but it was not a slice or chocolate cake, so here's your warning if that's what you were expecting!
google avatar

Christine L.

Yelp
This review is based on me going in knowing I wouldn't be getting a 10/10 ceremonial grade matcha latte. However, with how cute, cozy, and absolutely nice the interior is, it's the perfect spot to stop by and grab a table to escape the Texas heat on your day in Waco. We got the seasonal peach matcha latte and it was pretty good. I wasn't mad about it. We didn't try their coffee or anything else, but would recommend for the perfect pit stop.

Rhea H.

Yelp
D. N. F. The 1905 (???) latte was WAYYY too acidic in the coffee department and there was entirely too much syrup in it making it too sweet. It was not. good. For somewhere with such high tourist traffic I would hope for better.
google avatar

Eliana R.

Yelp
Very cute coffee shop in the magnolia market! We got oat milk lattes and they were very good. Definitely a great spot to enjoy a coffee with friends and it has a lot of seating. Go on a weekday, it's not busy. People say that it can get very crowded at the magnolia market.
google avatar

Bailey W.

Yelp
Had the best spinach & artichoke croissant- it was delicious! Great price too. The weather was perfect to walk around & enjoy the coffee outdoors. Absolutely beautiful.

Yelp
Stopped by this coffee shop on the way to Dallas and I was so pleasantly surprised by the market area this shop was in. It was the cutest little area and I really wanted to browse the home decor store connected to the coffee shop, but it wasn't open yet so I'll have to come back. The Magnolia Press' interior was clean and aesthetic and the employees were helpful and friendly. Food & Drink reviews are below: 1905 Iced Latte (Vanilla, Caramel, and Toasted Marshmallow): 5/5 Coffee Cake Muffin: 5/5 - Soooooo good Ham and Cheese Breakfast Soufflé: 4/5 - I feel like it would be better with bacon instead of ham

Yelp
Very spacious beautiful place to hang out with family or friends. The cold brew is delicious. They have many drinks to choose from. I wish they had more selection on pastries so we could enjoy with our coffee. A bit disappointed with the desserts at Magnolia overall. They look like packaged pastries from a wholesaler. The service is was great. Very friendly and attentive. Overall a great ambiance here cause it's so pretty and spacious with high ceilings.

Yelp
Stopped in while walking around the silos area and glad we did! As with everything in the area, it was beautiful inside and the perfect place to take a break with some coffee, though quite busy at least on a Saturday. I got a hazelnut latte with oat milk, which came at a reasonable price and was made perfectly and quickly despite how busy it was. They have their in house flavoring, I think it was marshmallow vanilla caramel, which I heard good things about and will have to try next time. Overall I'd absolutely recommend if you're in this area and want some coffee or a place to chill for a bit!

Chandler J.

Yelp
This drink was delicious! I will never come back to Waco without stopping here. The staff were very friendly and there was great scenery to look at while enjoying the coffee. It was very crowded, and we got our drinks in a timely manner. Would definitely recommend.

Yelp
I came here briefly to explore Waco landmarks before making my way home to Austin. My mom and sister spoke highly of the experience overall. I stopped here near the end of my Magnolia adventure and luckily caught a fairly short line. I got the strawberry matcha latte. It wasn't terrible nor was it amazing. I thought the matcha was too strong and the strawberry part too sweet, and they didnt mesh well. I've been to places where they mesh a lot better. Aside from that, I was underwhelmed by Magnolia itself. Probably is more fun if you have more disposable income to spend on the nice home goods in the market as well as gifts in boutiques. There were some cute food trucks that folks can try as well. I just felt the whole thing was super contrived and fake, really just to produce nice social media content - which is hard when you're there solo.

Yelp
This was my first visit and not the last! I ordered a frozen Carmel latte and it was amazing on a hot Texas morning. Coffee didn't have a bitter taste, very smooth. Service was nice and efficient. Decor was warm and inviting. I also had the almond croissant which was too beautiful to eat but I did. It was fresh and delicious.
google avatar

Vis V.

Yelp
Ordering matchas at coffee shops can be a hit or miss. The matcha here is amazing and one of the best I've had. For tea lovers, this spot is a must! My friend got an iced chai and he loved his too. I'll have to come back some time and try the food and coffee. The service was fast and the ambiance was nice.

Juliana V.

Yelp
The atmosphere was great and overall it was a fun little area to be in for the day! In regard to Magnolia Press as a study spot there are some pros and some cons... Pros: just a short walk away from some delicious food trucks to keep your brain going while studying, coffees good, a warm and welcoming vibe Cons: kind of loud inside, there's a lot going on so if you get easily distracted I wouldn't come here, very limited seating (you will likely be at a table surrounded by other people at very close proximity)
google avatar

Rachel B.

Yelp
Never have I ever gone back to the same place twice in one day, but my mom loved the coffee so much that we went back for a second time after walking around the Silos. We both got lattes (hers was a decaf). We enjoyed our baked goods from the Silos Baking Co with our first batch of iced lattes and took our second helping of coffee to go with us. It was easy to order and there were plenty of empty seats while we visited. The booth was very comfortable. They have some parking right in front of the shop if you can snag a spot.

Yelp
I'm telling you, this ain't it. Service is so slow, felt like they do that set up so the line looks out the door to draw more attention. Everything feels gimmicky. My iced latte tasted very watered down. I was expecting something better, but i'd say Starbucks is better. Also the pastries were super disappointing. i had the chocolate press cake and it was not good at all. Like it was so dry and bland, i didn't even wanna finish it. My husband had the coffee cake and it tasted like walmart pastries. I guess appearances is what they are known for- not quite the quality behind it. I will say the frozen lattes looked good when i saw others order them. Anyhoo, seems like they are just trying to cash in every part of the area but even the coffee shop. Mugs and tshirts for sale inside/ too touristy. The seating/tables were also dirty and it felt like no AC inside the TX heat. I personally wouldn't come back and there are some other local coffee shops that's looked really good in the area instead.

Cassie F.

Yelp
THE VIBES!! Go for the atmosphere. Stay for the friendly staff and the delicious menu. The chai is light and refreshing. And the matcha is very matcha-y (only order if you love matcha). Obsessed with the branding. Such a cute spot. And gotta go get a lemon lavender cupcake from the bakery next door.
google avatar

Winnie Y.

Yelp
The space is beautiful and I loved my visit. I got the matcha strawberry and honestly I wasn't a huge fan. The matcha was bland and the strawberry part was too sweet for me. I did try my husband's coffee and it was very good. I definitely wished I had stuck with my original coffee choice vs deciding to try something new.

Dean Y.

Yelp
Feel bad for the poor girl at the register. She seemed so tired and dazed. Didn't even realize I was standing right in front of her waiting to order. Someone please help Erynn find a new job.
google avatar

Sherelle L.

Yelp
I really enjoyed my iced 1905 latte here on the magnolia campus! Service was friendly and patient as I went back in forth on what I wanted to indulge in. The only downfall was purchasable beans only came grounded and not whole.
google avatar

Justin K.

Yelp
Great coffee shop on the Magnolia campus. Plenty of seating and plugs to work/study. The coffee was good and there are pastries available (I didn't try the pastry)The best part is that it is connected to the Magnolia Home store so you can take a break from your work/study and look around the home furnishings in Magnolia Home.
google avatar

Athena H.

Yelp
Pretty good cup of Jo, get it, ha. Overall pretty good coffee and tea. Tasty and a must try, definitely better than the local chains but nothing overly spectacular. The line is very long but moves quicky. The staff is sweet and there is lots of seating to take a load off, study, or people and dog watch.

D R.

Yelp
Good coffee, even better vibes. You go for the splendor of the decor and ambiance. The fact that you can wander around the rest of the shops with your coffee makes it even more enjoyable.

Harrison W.

Yelp
The coffee was very good! We went on a Saturday morning and it was pretty busy so it could be difficult to find a place to sit. It's a nice space but is sort of loud for studying. It would be great for a date or just hanging out and grabbing a coffee.
google avatar

Yelp
Visited for the first time during the Silobration weekend, a very busy time mind you. And yet the staff were so kind. Took the time to greet you, ask how you were doing etc. Got the (seasonal) brown sugar latte, the frozen latte, chocolate croissant, and (seasonal) apple pie roll. Everything was DELICIOUS. The brown sugar latte was just the right balance between strong coffee, sweetness, and silky-creamy cold foam. Frozen latte was, as you'd expect, a frozen treat. Pastries were smaller than I expected, but very very yummy. Croissant was light, buttery, and flakey. Seasonal cinnamon bun was like condensed fall in a bite. The actual shop is a treat in itself. Beautiful aesthetic, makes you want to come in a stay a (long) while. 100000/10 experience. I can't wait to come back.
google avatar

Ashley L.

Yelp
Everything about the Magnolia Silos is so cute but this coffee shop was top notch. The line was crazy long but it moved relatively quickly and even food/drinks came out quick. I had pumpkin donut holes and a fall themed cold brew which was all delish

Mallory G.

Yelp
First time visiting! We went around 5pm and I got the iced lavender vanilla latte. It was delicious! Cameron (or Kameron) the manager was very helpful! I bought a coffee cup and it's suppose to come with a 12 oz free latte but the cashier originally did not do that. So Cameron refunded my drink for me. Very sweet and helpful. Of course it's beautiful inside.
google avatar

Ashley C.

Yelp
Service was the best out of all their food shops (minus the trucks) I got the 1905? Latte. It was on the sweeter side for my taste if I go again I would get 3/4 or 1/2 sweetness Lots of seating and people were studying in those areas so it may be hard to find seating at times. But the line goes fast for coffee We didn't try any pastries from there although they did look good!
google avatar

Azsure D.

Yelp
I ordered espresso. They seemed confused by someone ordering espresso ha! It looks like most people get sugar drinks here. And I can see why. The espresso is off, almost soured. The location is very pretty in terms of decor obvi. But that is the main attraction.
google avatar

Michaela M.

Yelp
Got the 1905 coffee which has toasted marshmallow and vanilla. Toasted marshmallow is one of my favorite ships and it was pretty good. The place gets busy so beware
google avatar

Madigan M.

Yelp
I don't recognize the "new" downtown Waco! The Magnolia silos complex is a shrine to Chip & Joanna Gaines media empire. You can park in a good size parking lot for a fee, or take your chances with street parking... I ended up parking about 3 blocks away and walking over. The streets are full of tourists with their phones out snapping photos. Large signs with QR codes adorn several of the downtown homes that have at one point received the Joanna touch. The coffee shop is attached to a Magnolia furniture store. The place is ubiquitously well-staffed. Armed security patrols in front. The bathrooms are down the hall from the attached furniture store. They are large, very clean, beautifully designed with silver and white stamped tin ceilings and subway tile. The coffee shop was full of young ladies from the neighboring private school and elderly white women with money to spend. I got an overpriced protein box - $8 for almonds, green grapes, cheese cubes and a boiled egg. I also ordered a "1905" which is essentially a s'mores flavored latte with an extra smoky flavor. Most of the comfy sofas were taken, but I managed to snag one of the seats at the bar-height seating by the front window. Free Wi-Fi made this an ideal spot to get out my laptop and get a little work done. This was an interesting experience, although I'm not sure it's one that I would repeat.

Yelp
Great coffee shop in Waco! It has everything you could look for in a coffee shop -- great coffee, beautiful ambience, walkable parking options -- i would highly recommend you give this spot a try! If you're coming to Waco, you've probably heard of the Magnolia Table (this is different, if you go to both I would recommend skipping the coffee at Magnolia Table and heading to Magnolia Press for your morning brew). Magnolia Press is located right by the Silos and there is plenty to do here from sitting outside and enjoying the beautiful weather to popping in and out of the cute boutiques surrounding the Silos. At Magnolia Press there are multiple seating options both inside and outside and plenty of tables for larger groups. As for the coffee, we tried The 1905 Latte iced and the seasonal Blueberry Matcha Latte iced. Both were absolutely wonderful! The 1905 Latte is made with a special housemade toasted marshmallow and vanilla syrup. It was not overly sweet and offered a unique twist on a latte. If you're looking for something more different and enjoy matcha, I would highly recommend the Blueberry Matcha. You can taste the real fresh blueberries (rather than a syrupy taste). Paired with matcha, this is a refreshing beverage for a warm day! If you're heading to Waco, don't skip out on this coffee shop! So many great options to try.

Yelp
The cashier girl was so rude and looked like she clearly didn't want to be there. It was disappointing compared to all their other stores where staff is friendly and nice. The coffee to me also wasn't good and too strong. I tried and won't return. The shop is cute and has the cute Jojo vibes but not a place I would go back to because of the bad service and coffee.

Yelp
It has been a dream of mine to visit the silos. I landed in Waco at 12 am. I woke up bright and early and walked to magnolia press. The interior design is stunning. It reminded me of a library from the 60s or 70s. The cafe is spacious with lots of seating, booths and long tables for group study.. or to hang out with friends and family. Tip: to those flying into Waco, schedule a ride ahead of time. I thought Uber would be available and there was none. I hired a private driver and it costed $50 for a ride to my hotel which was 5 miles away.
google avatar

Yelp
Magnolia Press is a beautiful coffee shop in the Silos District of Waco. Well known for being owned by local celebrities, Chip & Joanna Gaines, this spot is poppin' with tourists and people who love Magnolia. I visited here for the first time last weekend and absolutely loved it! The frozen latte was super yummy! Tasted almost like a milkshake but much better! There are a bunch of other coffees and teas on the menu such as matcha, mocha, lattes and more. There are seasonal offerings as well... which right now would be their blueberry coffees and teas for spring. If you're thirsty for some water, there's a tap with sparking or still. The coffee shop is pretty big! There are a bunch of tables and chairs inside to enjoy your coffee at or you can go outside as well. I would recommend this place to other people.

Yelp
What to do when visiting from out of town in Waco. I guess you go to Magnolia's. We are from a tropical climate visiting in December for a graduation and wanted to warm-up to some delicious espresso. Luckily this place offered what we needed. Unfortunately, I'm stuck at giving this place a lower or higher review. Partly because I believe it was my mistake in ordering a cappuccino versus a latte. I vaguely remember the coffee tasting good, however, I remember thinking the cup felt very light (in weight). I go on and drink and finish it rather quickly. I open the lid to find a LOT of milk foam still in the cup. At that point, I was disappointed I made the mistake of ordering a cappuccino versus a latte. I'm not sure if their portion were accurate, because I know a cappuccino is typically a 1:1:1 ratio, but whatever. I still regretted spending $5+ on this coffee. As for their interior, it's extremely cute and I can see it being a great place to study/work. Maybe next time? Probably not.

Heidi W.

Yelp
Loved it! Great food, coffee, and atmosphere. The service was the best!! Can't wait to come back.
google avatar

Stacey T.

Yelp
My snickerdoodle latte was hot & delicious. Service was fast & friendly. The wood chairs scraping against the floor was horrible. I don't know what the solution to that is but it is constant and jarring. It really takes away from the cute atmosphere.
google avatar

Diana G.

Yelp
The frozen latte was 100% worth trying in the 98degree heat. There's just something about a cold coffee on a hot day while exploring that makes walking in the heat worth it.
google avatar

Briana N.

Yelp
I always love to stop by Magnolia Press whenever I visit Waco. It's a super aesthetic spot that would probably be great to get some work done at. And the drinks are pretty good! I'm a big fan of the seasonal apple cider. They also have sparkling water on tap which is really nice since these drinks always leave me wanting some water. The apple pie cinnamon roll is also a favorite and the coffee cake is perfect for breakfast. But I wasn't the biggest fan of the chocolate cake. It has this white cream in the middle that's too sweet for my liking and it kind of reminds me of Little Debbie's. However if you like Little Debbie's, you will probably love the cake!

Loretta V.

Yelp
Super a cute gem! Attached to the Magnolia decor store. We stopped by on a roadtrip. The ladies at the counter were so kind to make us up some drinks even though it was very close to closing time! The drinks were excellent quality and refreshing! Will def stop there every time I'm passing through!
google avatar

Edlyn V.

Yelp
I really like the set up of the café. It's spacious with a lot of study spots. Kind staff! I tried their signature 1905, iced. It's supposed to have touches of toasted marshmallow and vanilla. I didn't get much of that marshmallow flavor that I was hoping, but it was still good! Their coffee is strong, yet smooth. I also got their cranberry green tea, I appreciated the real cranberries it had, and it basically tasted like cranberry concentrate with a hint of green tea. Nonetheless, I'd go back to try out some other beverages!
