I absolutely love Mags. However for the second time I walked at 8:20 and the girls inside were already cleaning up when it is supposed to close at 9:00. If the hours need to be changed I understand but it is soooo frustrating to get there way before closing time and having to turn around. I am so so disappointed right now because again that’s not the first time that happened and I usually love to go to that place.

Google
What a great frozen yogurt shop. It is located downtown in a pretty little town called Larkspur. All the kids from school come here after school so it's pretty crowded from 3 to 4. They have seating inside they have seating outside. There are about seven or eight different yogurts and maybe a hundred different toppings. Prices are relatively High.

Doug M.

Google
Great frozen yogurt, fun toppings, friendly staff and some vintage ski gear tracing the family's roots to Alpine Meadows and that other place over the hill.

Ethan G.

Google
This place has solid froyo with a wide variety of toppings, but make sure to shut the yogurt machine off or you won’t have any money left in your wallet. This place is extremely expensive as a small bowl costed 9 dollars. Their oatmeal flavor is great, as well vanilla.

Joel S.

Google
I'm conflicted because I absolutely love this place, the flavors, and the toppings (fresh cookie dough) and want to support local businesses. However, it's hard to ignore that it cost me just shy of $30 for 2 cups of frozen yogurt with 1 topping, which is more than any ice cream shop in the Bay Area charges.

Parker W.

Google
Whenever I come to Mag’s I always leave here with a smile. Not only is the fro-yo so delicious, but the workers here are so kind. There’s this one worker Emma, who is so friendly and always makes the kiddos laugh as we’re all checking out. Truly outstanding service, I recommend this place to anyone and everyone.

Google
It's local, the place is spotless, the toppings spectacular, the yogurt is fine, and it's just a great place to bring the family after dinner. The summers are packed, but that's half the fun. There are a few seats just outside the store, but plenty of seating inside.

Rebecca E.

Google
My favorite frozen yogurt place! I have been to many froyo’s around, but this one always takes the cake. See, I get the same ting as my tester when I go new places (plain with strawberries and almonds) and it’s amazing how many places can’t stand up to Mag’s. Theirs isn’t super sugary, tastes real, and you have an array of fresh (and not so fresh) toppings. Sure the staff are teenagers and are usually preoccupied by their friends or hw, but this place is self serve. They are there to help you check out/pay and to keep the place clean, which they do. If you need something ask, they are responsive, they just don’t initiate the customer service. And yes Mag’s is pricey. But it is southern Marin after all, plus it is best the froyo I’ve ever had. In fact, I need to wrap up this review so I can head on over to mag’s.

Yelp
Good local self-serve yogurt shop in Larkspur that has many flavor options: six flavors and untold toppings including nuts, berries, sugar cereals, brownie bites and mochi. Cute ski decor, a gratis book with the full history of the town by the counter, and an adorable town mural, and importantly a customer bathroom. The place is spotlessly clean. It was empty in the late afternoon I came it, but come during the school year on a nice day and it will be bombarded with local families: a real afterschool hot spot. My medium sized yogurt and berries came to $13, but on reflection, I suppose I'm not surprised that is the going rate for fro-yo in Marin. They offer tiny dixie cups and free water, but I wish they were bigger --it can be a challenge to drink water through a thimble.

Yelp
Extremely overpriced and the manager (?) knows it. Okay, I get it - Marin prices for Marin rent. When paying ($15+ for a tiny cup and an almost full one), I used my watch to touch and add my card payment. I didn't add a tip, but he did. He did nothing except keep his shop clean. Not tip worthy seeing that it's self serve froyo and it's rude to presume otherwise. Chopped almonds tasted old. Other than that, yogurt and toppings are fine. Which is a very low bar. About as low as the likelihood of us returning.

Skah M.

Yelp
Flat out the best frozen yogurt in Marin and quite possibly the entire bay area. The texture is creamy and smooth with robust flavor - the cake batter yogurt is spectacular. And that hot fudge! It's also the best in the bay area (so many places just use chocolate sauce - this is HOT FUDGE!) If you like crave legit froyo the way it used to be when it was in its heyday then this is literally the ONLY spot to get it. I'll happily pay a bit more for this because, to reiterate, I can't get it anywhere else and I haven't been able to find anything close to this good in the Bay Area in years. If you want to whine about the price, I have two tips for you: 1- you are not being forced to fill up the entire cup which is large, and 2, remind yourself that this is Marin for blips sakes and this is market rate, it's not outlandish compared to the competition. Everything is more expensive so don't trash a local business just because you remember something being cheaper 3 decades ago and can't accept reality. Ask yourself where else can I go to get frozen yogurt, much less froyo this good - go try watery flavorless Yogurtland (is there even one in Marin?), same price, inedible yogurt. BTW, we got 2 yogurts, mine with sprinkles and hot fudge and the other with cereal and several toppings for a TOTAL of $13.50. Both of us were full. So instead of squealing about price be thrilled and grateful that something this delicious exists at all, and it happens to be right in your neighborhood. Some of us are willing to come from SF just to get it.

Yelp
I want to like Mag's, but it is ridiculously overpriced. A tiny portion of soft serve with a few toppings runs upwards of $8 to $9. That's crazy! For less than that, I could get an amazing Strauss Family Creamery soft serve at Pico, or a delicious ice cream at Lappert's in Sausalito. It boggles me how this place stays in business with the prices they charge. Not only that, but their soft serve is nothing at all to write home about. They haven't updated their flavors in years, and more often than not it comes out of the machine already melted, a puddle of melted soft serve for $9.

Yelp
love it here!! best place for after school snack & super clean! been coming here for years!!

Yelp
Great local place, delicious frozen yogurt, family friendly atmosphere. Great for a treat!

Yelp
Frozen yogurt at "Mags Local Yogurt". I wonder if it is named after the street it is located on? -Magnolia Avenue? My first visit. I tried a sample, to see what I liked. My one (and only) taste was Euro Classic Tart. Eww, too sour! Unable to try any other flavors .. Worry not. I'm confident if you want a sugar buzz, it would be available in their chocolate or vanilla or banana or your raspberry whatever. Also, -there are lots of gummy bears, M&M's, Oreos. You might want to save some space for a little cereal; Cap'n Crunch ,Coco Puffs, Cinnamon Toast Crunch, fruity pebble's, etc. etc. Today, not such a treat for me.

Yelp
For some reason Marin County has far too many frozen yogurt places. Most of them are unnecessary as Mags Local Yogurt stands out as the supreme front runner. Clean, well priced, with friendly employees and a variety of flavors. Neighborhood favorite!
google avatar

Derek S.

Yelp
One of the only and best yogurt places in the area. It's a go to desert option for me despite me not being a huge desert person. I love the tart flavor so this is where I go to get my froyo fix!

Choosy M.

Yelp
So delish! Great flavors, toppers and friendly at register. Check out the cool ski mountain motif. Such a happy well lit place to enjoy a tasty low cal treat. Mags is a local treasure!
google avatar

Mason B.

Yelp
This place is THE BOMB. An absolute Marin classic. I take my kiddos here every three days and they absolutely love it . The employees could not be nicer as they are always helpful and kind to their customers. Best yogurt in the county.

Yelp
The best Frozen Yogurt spot in Larkspur without a doubt. Situated in the downtown area, it's the perfect place on a sunny day. The flavors here are delicious, and there's plenty of toppings to chose from: almond, strawberries (and other fruits), condensed milk, chocolate....the list goes on. My favorite thing about this place is that it had so much space inside. Definitely one of the most spacious FroYo spots I've ever been to. The guys who work here are nice and always down for a conversation, and that's always nice. Also, considering this place is in one of the wealthiest cities in the Bay Area, I'm very surprised by their prices, as they are cheaper than SF. The bowl of FroYo I got cost me a measly $4, and I packed it up with a bunch of other toppings. A very worthy spot to visit if you're in the area. Enjoy :)

Sedona C.

Yelp
I absolutely love Mag's Local Yogurt! Since coronavirus started, I have been very disappointed that they closed. However, they are back open and following all the safety protocols to give everyone the froyo they've been missing! They have a wide variety of flavors and toppings and even though I cannot make the yogurt myself anymore, they did an amazing job of making you exactly what I described. One of my favorite spots! Walk here once a week!
google avatar

Yelp
Wonderful local yogurt shop, I bring my grandson here at least every other day as a treat. Place is always kept clean and well stocked. Great little hangout for the neighborhood kids, and very comfortable! You'll get teenagers (?) working who don't often practice that great cheery customer service attitude, but I'm just a stickler for greetings and "thank you" which doesn't happen here.
google avatar

Tracey A.

Yelp
This brand new frozen yogurt shop features self service, a couple tart flavors, a few regular flavors, a gelato, and a sorbet. The tart flavors (regular, pomegranate) were excellent; sour and substantial tasting. The chocolate and vanilla were provisioned by Dreyer's and so soft and sweet that J was unsure if he was eating fro-yo or soft-serve. Since the products are sourced by different vendors, it would be nice if the signage identified the source. Toppings are spread out in different parts of the shop. One section has cereals and nuts. Another has fruits and jellied balls. Candies are elsewhere, and sauces (i.e. hot fudge, hot caramel) were up near the register. There's a few chairs and tables to eat on-site and a stamp that'll get you one free with every 10 purchased. Price was 47 cents an ounce which made for some pretty pricy cupfuls. I didn't love their non-tart yogurt or selections the way I adore those of Yogurtland but since this place is a lot closer I'll likely be showing up again soon for some more tarty mouthfuls.

Yelp
Mag's local yogurt is difficult to spot since hanging signage isn't permissible by local standards (read that somewhere so assume it applies here) froyo availability: -sf (hawaiian punch) sorbet like, pretty watery. -raspberry (tart): kind of sour -pomegranted tart pom taste, kind of sour -mag's euro tart (probably yocream) -oatmeal gelato:nice taste. most impressive -cookies & cream -cake batter -one not working pricing: self serve, 47 cents froyo & toppings.`20ish nuts, cereals, candies, chocolates, and the usual dry toppings in silos on walls or in hanging "baskets" on the table. 6 fruits and 6 crumbled cookies, wet toppings, in referigated trays. frodrips: -sani serve froyo dispensers, customized laminated vigour cups -not a tart addict but tarts seem too sour -frequent buyer card on table -froyo machine pour runs fast so pump verrry slowly.... -no mochi, poppers, nor jellies in tray. didn't ask. -for the amount of $$ possibly being spent here, a punjabi burrito may be a more nourishing alternative.
google avatar

Alfred S.

Yelp
Don't like their Covid procedure. Yogurt was soupy and had a chemical taste. A bit pricey.
google avatar

Rayna A.

Yelp
Low fat & no fat froyo that taste more like soft serve than yogurt - really good. COCONUT The coconut tastes sweet and creamy with meat - the way I like it. OATMEAL The oatmeal tasted nice and homemade - I would have loved raisins for this but perfectly fine on its own. CARAMEL CORN The caramel corn tasted just like apple jacks - very sweet and not tart FINAL NOTE This is a sweet little yogurt shop that feels really trendy beachy to me. I like that they carry toppings including fruit. I just wish they had butterfinger or nutter butters... maybe someday.
google avatar

Jonathan A.

Yelp
Below average frozen yogurt place. The yogurt is watery and the flavors are boring. They have a topping bar which was an absolute mess when I came here on a Friday night. The employees were just sitting around and socializing with some friends that walked in. What I did like about this place was it's location and the outside seating area. Great for locals who live in the area, but not worth the drive if you live outside Larkspur.
google avatar

Rose R.

Yelp
Awesome place to get fro-yo!!! It's self-serve, so get creative at preparing your own treat. They offer 8 different yogurt flavors & a wide selection of toppings (cereal, chocolate, candies, fresh fruit, cheesecake bites, mochi balls, etc) The cost of yogurt plus topping(s) = $.47/ounce. Besides the flavorful frozen yogurt here, I also enjoy the clean & welcoming atmosphere. The toppings appear to be fully stocked & are kept neatly separated. (Not like some places where toppings are so close to one another they become messy & all mixed in) They have indoor and outdoor seating. Love the large window seating area.

Yelp
OMG - the best suggestion Yelp has given me and my brother for this year! We came here after our hike (yes, we're those people that like to reward / regain what we lost after exercising!) The place had a homey feel... neighborhood spot. Families were gathered outside and it was just welcoming. They have tasting mini cups by the counter... I had the nutella and I was sold. It was just deliciously creamy. The available toppings were out of this world! They had everything and it was a bit overwhelming to figure out what to put. Plus, we didn't know that they had hot fudge and caramel and whipped creamy on the side of the cashier! We're already planning a comeback. Well worth the trek and definitely friendly folks.
google avatar

Heather L.

Yelp
$17.01 for two frozen yogurts?! Not even completely full cups?! Save your money and drive to Strawberry to visit Woody's for a third of the price. We will never ever be back.
google avatar

Brigi T.

Yelp
I love coming here on a hot day even tho I probably should be drinking a green drink from juice alley, but hey everyone has their weaknesses right!? Anyways, mag's has an excellent variety of flavors and toppings. The place is always clean and usually has kids around, which is always fun to see. Reminds me of when I was young and so excited to get an ice cream! They also tend to have local teens working here, which I think is great! I have only had a couple experiences here where the employees seemed more interested in their phones then me, but not recently. My only complaint would be that that sometimes the yogurt is too soft and by the time I get outside it's already melting in the cup. Not sure if this is the type that they use or it isn't cold enough in the machine. The flavors are so good tho, that I keep coming back. Thank you for a cute local yogurt shop!
google avatar

Rebecca E.

Yelp
I LOVE this place! I find any excuse to go here...kid graduated Kindergarten, it's my birthday, the sun is shining...lets go to Mag's! I am a fanatic about my froyo tasting like yogurt not ice cream. This place is yogurt & is delicious! Array of toppings & fresh fruit! They take pics & display it on TV so it brings a sense of community! I have been to many froyo places: Berry Bliss, Tuttimelon & Swirl but by far this is my favorite :) In fact, I think I'll head over there now!

Kelly A.

Yelp
Used to come here all the time. However, The yogurt has been way too soft and melty since re opening. Also, would be great if a single employee ever knew whether the yogurt was NF, LF or Full fat. When asked , they either say they don't know or that's it's all low fat, or all non fat, or all full fat, which it is almost never "all"l anything.
google avatar

W P.

Yelp
Mis charged and we tried to figure it out, no help. Made some excuses. Nice high school girls..."I'm sorry...".
google avatar

Barbara M.

Yelp
I just moved to Marin from orange county, where there is a froyo shop every block. I am desperate for a good fro yo and tried mags today. I'm used to having this frozen delight 2 to 3 times a week at a few different shops so I kind of consider myself an expert. My favorite flavors are Caramell and chocolate. I had to go with vanilla at megs and then added my usual toasted almonds a little hot fudge and a little pot of Caramell. My main complaint is that it was too soft... So soft that my toppings immediately made the whole thing a squishy mess. I wish they froze it a little bit colder. The hot Caramell tasted medicinal. The hot fudge was good. I was surprised that the amount of yogurt that I usually pay 5 to 6 dollars for cost nine dollars at mags, but I guess everything is more expensive up here even though I am coming from an equally expensive area of Laguna Beach. I will keep on searching for the perfect yogurt to satisfy my Jones. I also wish that they posted the amount of calories per ounce... It didn't tasteVery rich but calories can be sneaky. Forgive any typos or weird phrases as I have to use the microphone because of a hand injury.
google avatar

Den M.

Yelp
Absentee owner should check in once in a while to coach the asleep-at-the-wheel clerks. Usually on their phones or studying, not keeping machines clean or cold enough. Shame, since such a nice location.
google avatar

Susan S.

Yelp
I'm going on four months of morning sickness (and no, that's not normal) and all I really enjoy eating is frozen yogurt and ice cream, so I've been to Mag's a number of times in the past few months. The yogurt is good and I love that they use all local products. The space is clean and soothing. Service is indifferent, but that's not surprising since most of the staff are teenagers. And, whatever, it's self-serve anyway. Definitely on the pricey side, however.
google avatar

Annie D.

Yelp
frozen yogurt may be my favorite and most consumed food, so I mean business when I recommend mag's yogurt. I take major detours to come here and in the 5 or 6 times I've been since discovering it, I've been pleasantly surprised with (1) the flavors and (2) the fact that they seem to understand that it would be unacceptable to not offer the oatmeal cookie gelato. it is so good (also, it's supposedly low fat but I couldn't care less it that's a big fat lie.) see you there! (but seriously, you may very well find me at mag's, but hopefully not during the after-school 3PM rush.)
google avatar

Lauren P.

Yelp
LOVE this local, clean, family friendly place. Great yogurt and toppings. Very up on technology and taking pics of the kids with their friends, and while the kids gobble down their treat, they get to see the picture of themselves on the big TV screens. Only reason for 4/5 stars is few choices for tart yogurt. Would love to see a few more of those. Other than that - they are the BEST!
google avatar

Lauren W.

Yelp
I love this place! It has more toppings than any other place in all of Marin! And it has a sorbet option for those of us who can have yogurt. They change flavors of yogurt and sorbet constantly. The toppings are a wide variety of treats....everything from cereal to crumbled Oreos, to sweet fresh fruit. It is awesome!!! For the holidays, they also have hot chocolate! This place is a sweet tooth haven! Love it!

B L.

Yelp
4.5! I am so happy this placed opened. I love self-serve frozen yogurt places and this is one of my favorites! Although it can be pricey at almost 50 cents an ounce, it's well worth it! The flavors are so unique and yummy! I loved the kiwi strawberry and cranberry flavors. I wasn't a huge fan of the ginger lemon - it had too much ginger. My boyfriend was loving the chocolate and oatmeal cookie! All flavors I have tried have just the right about of sweetness and flavor! I also love the assortment of toppings. I loved the granola mixed with my fruity toppings and froyo. Delicious. My boyfriend and I cannot get enough of Mag's and we had to go two days in a row to satisfy our cravings. Thank goodness this place is close to my house. I can come here daily! Remember to pick up a punch card!!
google avatar

Asa R.

Yelp
They have simple good tart yogurt, If you'd like other fixings, you have a lot of good choices but I just want a bit of tart yogurt. Since it's a self serve place, I can get my "bit" of froyo too. The location is nice and I easily found parking. The facility was very clean and to people working there we really nice. They have reward cards which is great because this is one of the places I'll return to for froyo!!
google avatar

Kyla B.

Yelp
The texture of the yogurt is great. Staff is great. Overall thumbs up. They have some original cereal toppings that I've never seen at a tougher place, like Cinnamon Toast Crunch. Mmmm.
google avatar

Alissa A.

Yelp
Flavors and textures are still tops. Chocolate chip cookies from the topping bar were too good to be true and are no longer, replaced by the generic cookie dough and dense brownie-like bits, one of which I not-so-discretely spit out because it was gross. Creamy yogurt in a very clean space, still 0.55/oz, but less excited about the value. Many toppings are in those awful upright dispensers that either crush it to bits or dump far more than you wanted. A few flavors on the most recent visit weren't chilled enough. Yes, still worth stopping in, but less awesome than the first few visits.
google avatar

Ana M.

Yelp
Loved the natural flavor. Great local spot. Check it out! Good service. Clean. Overall good.

Yelp
We LOVE Mag's Local Yogurt!!! (How Yelp* knew that I would be in a position to write a review I am not clear...) Mag's should be a franchise. I am familiar enough with the product and distribution of yogurt recipes on the open market, but, if quality control were an options they actually have one of the top three best yogurt products in the vicinity IMHO. We are in the San Francisco Bay Area where we have many desert and snack options available, many healthy. However, it is quite obvious that Frozen Yogurt as a category has come back overall, yet, it a very different from its grandparent-self, such as College Park, now, exclusively in Berkeley, California, AFAIK as they used to have a second outlet in Walnut Creek, a few miles away. The new family of yogurt is clearly marked as full of good bacteria which fulfills our stomach's needs. It tends to be tart,at least as a base, with flavorings added to imitate other flavored yogurts and ice creams. The other tendency of the New Yogurt is a more icy texture, less creamy than ice cream and other versions of frozen yogurt. Mag's does the best of both worlds imho. Fraiche Yogurt on Fillmore Street in San Francisco is also one of the top three. However, I have never had a very positive experience interacting with the staff: always seem a bit pushy and not investing in me. I found there Stanford University branch seemingly comparable to any other vendor serving the vertical University market, so no negative impression. Fraiche and Mag's are similar in texture. Somehow they have been able to avoid the icy outcome their health-centric competitors cannot avoid or choose. The icy ones are also unique in that they focus on ingredients to mix coarsely with the white, tart yogurt: not a blend to subdue the tartness with a given familiar or surprise flavor. To also highlight a brand, Easy Breezy, on Irving Street, in San Francisco, is probably the best of both the creamy and icy worlds under one roof: each component, more or less fat content, seems to dictate either extreme. But Mag's as a BRAND is the best of all in a manner of speaking: the color scheme; the layout and design; the staff being young people within the local community with a vibrant and appealing approach, adds to a more traditional overall experience. Larkspur being a small close-knit community, the place, product, awning and benches outside, parking usually readily available (they close at 9 PM,) make for a very welcoming and warm experience. Why 4 stars: We have been disappointed with the less- firm consistency the last three or four times we have arrived "late in the day". I contacted the proprietor about this who stated it was a known issue and repairs were coming very soon - the next day, actually. Well, since then, we have had the same issue occur TWICE.

M L.

Yelp
Let's see. You're better off doing any of these things than eating their yogurt. 1. Fill your cup with some of the fun toppings like captain crunch. 2. Walk to Lucky and grab an ice cream sandwich from the freezer. 3. Keep walking to the gas station and grab a popsicle with freezer burn. No matter which flavor you try, it will have either a vaguely vanilla taste or slightly tart taste. This is some of the most flavorless fro yo in the Bay Area. The employees are friendly so one star. They have air conditioning. One more star.
google avatar

Malia C.

Yelp
So happy this is here! Strangely enough there are no frozen yogurt shops in Corte Madera, and the next nearest is Berry Bliss in Larkspur (which I did not have a good experience at). The location is fantastic, right on the main strip, and because of the many nearby restaurants Mag's can get quite crowded. The late hours (open until 9!) are an even greater bonus. The frozen yogurt and toppings are self-serve, and reasonably priced according to Marin County standards. My preference is always plain tart, and as each froyo shop has their own kind, it's always a risk- thankfully Mag's was just the perfect mix of sweet and tart!

Yelp
Teen hang out with teens working there and putting their butts on the counter. I'm not kidding. Went in there when things were dead and the guy working the counter was sitting on it. Professional. This is a self serve frozen yogurt places you get your container and after you put your toppings on and choose your yogurt, they weigh it and charge you. I only write that as a direction since the kid did not tell us and the places we usually go they do all of that for you. Families do come here and on hot days the place is packed. Why? I'm not sure, their frozen yogurt is not organic nor did I see any vegan options nor is it any better then what you get fro the store. This place would have gotten a better review if it was not for the person sitting on the counter. That really grossed me out.
google avatar

Christopher L.

Yelp
The yogurt here is full of flavor, especially the pistachio. The only drawback of the pistachio was that it was not cold enough on the night we went. The cappuccino was creamy and perfectly frozen. This is a very quaint local yogurt place, with a wide variety of toppings. They even have sea salt as a topping, which I highly recommend. What separates it from other places like it is the flavor of its yogurt.
google avatar

Allie P.

Yelp
Ok let me start off by saying that I have never had a big sweet tooth when it comes to ice cream, gelato, and frozen yogurt however, I have heard so many good things about Mag's that I had to check it out - and I am really happy I did. They have really great flavors - and for us simple folk- the vanilla and tart are yummy. Every topping possible. For me it will be gummy bears and I am set. If you are not a huge fan of the whole cold dessert thang, come into Mags and it might just change your palate, like it did mine. And sometimes change is always good :)
google avatar

Jen K.

Yelp
Fabulous addition to downtown Larkspur. We've been several times since they've opened and have been thrilled. The variety of flavors and toppings is great. The store is clean and bright and I love that they offer a punch card for a free yogurt! I noticed some other reviews stated that they don't have mochi.... well, they definitely had that the last two times I was there! Mag lists the flavors on his Facebook page so it's nice to know what they're serving, especially if you have a favorite. Only suggestion for improvement I'd offer is to label the flavors as low, full or non fat.
google avatar

Lily K.

Yelp
4 stars for being local and clean. Mag's is one of those self-serve froyo bars featuring a bunch of different flavors. I went for the good old standby of chocolate and it was good. Most of the toppings are in plastic containers with turn handles. I was watching people struggle with them as they would turn it a couple times and nothing would come out and then they'd turn it a 3rd time and would end up with half a bowl full of toppings...frustrating as you pay per ounce and oftentimes, people want more froyo than toppings. Otherwise, a good place to go, will have to try it again if I'm in the 'hood.
google avatar

Julia F.

Yelp
As much as I don't want to admit it, I'm toootally into this froyo fad going on right now. I'm not usually a "fad" follower but self-serve froyo converted me! From all the places I've been to Mag's has the greatest selection of toppings which in my opinion is almost more important than the yogurt itself. They've got different brands of chocolate candy, cereals, fresh fruits, nuts, those bubble things, etc...and the best part, hot fudge! As well as caramel and other liquid toppings. The yogurt itself is really tasty and true to the advertised flavor, I tried some oatmeal cookie yogurt and something else which was good too, only complaint I have is that the yogurt wasn't really frozen enough. It was pretty melty, and by the time I had paid for it and sat down it wasn't too solid anymore. Although it might have been because of the hot fudge... It's also a little pricier than Yogurtland. I didn't look at how much it cost per ounce but if I usually spend about $3 bucks at YL, I spent $5 or so here, which I guess isn't so bad given the availability of toppings. The interior is cute with tables and a ledge with pillows you can sit on under the windows. Will surely return!

Yelp
Just went online to see what time Mags closes (9pm on a Monday, hooray!), in order to send my family out for my fix of Euro Tart with Dark chocolate Chips. THANKS MAGS for a great EuroTart! All I ever order is tart with dark chocolate chips, and yours is AWESOME. Great pricing, great service, and delicious taste. My kids think you have a great selection too (with mini marshmallows! A triple bonus!) but I am very predictable and all I care about is what you always have - Tart & chips. :) Hooray! This is a new Frozen Yogurt Shop in Larkspur - opened about 8 months ago - and I would think/hope the reviews will only be 5 star from here out. We've already gone through 3 frequent visitor punch-cards and never had anything less than a 4.5 star visit. So take earliest reviews with a grain of salt/mochi, and please visit again - and please review now that Mags is an expert in the biz - and let's keep a much-needed locally-owned & operated business thriving in downtown Larkspur!

Yelp
Excellent yogurt and I'm a yogurt snob. Very rich and creamy and I assumed it was full fat. But several flavors are non fat. Their chocolate yogurt is fabulous. And nonfat. Fun flavors like cupcake and oatmeal cookie.
