Mahana Poke

I got the poke salad from here and it was pretty good. I love all of the options for toppings. The unagj was ok - a bit slimy in my opinion. I also thought the salad was kind of bitter for my liking. The miso soup was not very good.

So glad to see a new poke spot open up in the area! I actually went two days in a row. On the first day, I built my own bowl with salmon and crab — everything was super fresh, and the sauces were flavorful. Portion size was generous too. On the second day, I tried the chicken teriyaki and it was just as tasty — again, big portion! The staff were really friendly and welcoming. Since they’re still new, it’s not too busy yet, which honestly is a plus — I didn’t have to wait in a long lunch line like most places around here. Definitely a great new lunch option in the neighborhood!

I had an amazing experience at this poke bowl spot! The ingredients were incredibly fresh, the fish was top quality, and there were so many great options to customize my bowl exactly how I like it. Everything was perfectly balanced—flavorful, light, and satisfying. The staff were super friendly and fast, and the place was clean and welcoming. Great portions, great value, and honestly one of the best poke bowls I’ve had. I’ll definitely be back soon!

I walk by this street almost every day and just noticed a new poke place called Mahana. Walked in to check it out and turns out — it’s only their third day open! Tried a bowl and was really impressed. Super fresh ingredients, the portion was solid, and the service was quick and friendly. Prices are very reasonable too. Definitely happy I stopped by — I’ll be back for sure!

Some of the best poke I've ever had! The salmon was extremely fresh and they were comically generous with the scoops ❤️ The rice was warm and fresh, the seasoned egg was delicious, and the other toppings were very fresh. I'm so happy to have a great poke place in this area and look forward to coming back often! AND they are open on weekends 🥳

The value at Mahana is unbeatable for this neighborhood. A small bowl would be considered a medium at most other Poke restaurants. As someone else mentioned, this is like Chipotle for Poke. So, you get your food almost immediately. You get two proteins, two base options, two sauces, and unlimited toppings for under $13. I've been coming here twice a week since they opened. My go-to order is spicy tuna, salmon, spicy miso, and spicy aioli on mixed greens with cucumbers, kimchi, seaweed, ginger, masago, furikake, and crispy garlic. It's basically an umami-bomb. The tortillas are actually my favorite base. They complement the fish flavor and texture perfectly but I'm trying to watch my carbs these days. Even though it's tempting to get all the toppings, I don't recommend going this route. The bowl gets too full, making it hard to eat.

Walked in due to my daughter wanting Miso soup. She just had spacers out in for her braces and her teeth were sore. I ordered 2 Miso soup(3 stars) needed more flavor and then they had a pic of some chicken(4 stars) on the wall. I didn't even catch the name but we ordered it. Plus I got a small poke bowl that came with 2 scoops of protein. It ended up be a lot more than I expected. It was tasty and I would come back for it The place looks clean, open and organized.

Ordered through delivery and grabbed their buy-one-get-one deal on the chicken teriyaki bowls. I went with the brown rice base and honestly didn't expect much, but everything turned out way better than I imagined. The ingredients tasted fresh, the flavors were spot-on, and the packaging kept everything in perfect shape by the time it arrived. This experience definitely makes me want to explore more of their menu. You can tell they put care into what they serve, and it really shows in the overall quality. I'm glad I decided to give this place a try -- I'll happily order again.

Kinda like a Chipotle of poke bowls, where you can customize. Though I stuck with the default configurations to see how good their signatures were. Overall, it was quite mid. Ahi Tuna Bowl: The raw tuna is splashed with sauce to order, so it's just not the same as real poke marinating in all those flavors for hours. This was noticeable also because some chunks of tuna tasted a bit too fishy. There was a variety of veggies, kinda piled on top, instead of mixed into the tuna mixture. That's kind of annoying since I had to mix it myself. Also, there was way too much seaweed compared to the other veggies.

Clean ambiance... love the surf board. Service was warm & helpful. Food was a joy... had the ""Rainbow Love" with Spicy Aioli added.... loved it. Quality of fish is give a 4, but the variety of additions and sauce combos put it over the top for me. Not the easiest location to reach (1 block off Fremont exit)... but worth every penny. Had a great late lunch...of simple & delicious. Could improve the rice... but still a hit for me. Thank you, Sharine

This morning I was craving poke and looking around Fidi, this is one of the top rated poke shops (albeit with just 9 reviews). From what I've read, they opened just this July so it's only been around for a couple months I went with the Rainbow Bowl, which comes with ahi tuna, spicy tuna, and salmon proteins. I also asked for the house chili sauce which someone else recommended. The portions were quite good and fish was fresh. My one critique would be that the sushi rice wasn't quite sushi rice, it was more like plain white rice. Another downside was that they didn't have a water dispenser and they didn't have cups for water

11/14/25 - It was pretty good for a quick dinner and you get so many toppings options! Will try it again next time too!

This place is awesome. The food is super fresh and super tasty. The prices are reasonable for the area. The portion sizes are generous. My only semi-complaint was the slower than expected service. There was only one person working the counter when my coworkers and I arrived and it took a little longer than I would have preferred to get my lunch. Overall, this place is fantastic and I can't wait to go back. If you like spicy foods, try the house chili sauce...it's delicious!

I think this spot is fairly new so I wanted to try it out. All the ingredients were very good and fresh. Everything was clean and nice. Overall, I have no problem with the taste, but I would recommend training the servers to do a bit better with creating the bowls. For example, the amount of sauce, mixing, and the amounts of toppings and ingredients in the bowl.

Ordered through Doordash and took advantage of their buy-one-get-one-free chicken teriyaki bowl. I ordered two of them with brown rice base. I am not a fan of rice bowls but this one really hit the spot with the fresh ingredients and every bite being so flavorful. The packaging was neat so all my food arrived in one piece. I am so excited to try more items on the menu :)

I live close by so I have been a frequent customer since this place opened. Everytime, the poke is fresh and a great portion. Lots of seating and it's very clean. The salmon is always delicious. Thank you for being one of the few places open on the weekend!! Super happy to have you in the neighborhood!!

the dine in place is very pleasant to eat and enjoy my own me time !! Food is decent and fresh, cuz I order salmon , shrimp and scallop for my proteins selection . Definitely recommend for people around that area. They open from 10-8am everyday. Friendly staffs and super pleasant eating environments!

Got the vegan salmon bowl with the house chili sauce and it's fantastic! It's hard to come by good vegan fish. Also glad they're open past 4 pm / open on weekends in rincon hill which is a rarity. Will be coming back

Tried the rainbow poke bowl, grilled salmon and beef brisket bowls. Very tasty and hearty portions with fresh veggies and jalapeños! My new favorite spot in the neighborhood that will be in my regular rotation.

I'm usually a Chipotle fan, but this place changed my mind. Mahana's bowls feel way fresher, lighter, and more flavorful. You get tons of toppings and it's worth every dollar.

The poke is ok, but I ordered soup from here and they had the audacity to serve me canned soup (and charge me $9 for it).

Tried their chicken teriyaki bowl and it was honestly so good! Flavor was on point, chicken was tender, and the portion was super generous. I ordered pickup on DoorDash and they had a buy-one-get-one-free deal -- two big bowls for just $15! That's an amazing deal, especially with today's prices. Highly recommend checking them out!
