Unbottling the Secrets of Thai Craft Beer

"Mahanakhon Brewery produces a White Ale that is smooth and cloudy, similar to Belgian wheat beers. It's a crisp beer suitable for Bangkok's weather and won awards at the World Beer Awards 2017." - Veronica Inveen

If you're arriving early, Mahanakhon Eatery is a fantastic place to relax with a cup of coffee while waiting for the main Mahanakhon experience to begin—it opens earlier, making it a convenient starting point. You can head up to the main attraction, enjoy the key activities, then return for a delicious lunch at the eatery before continuing with the rest of your visit. The food was impressively appetizing and beautifully presented, with a great mix of hot and cold options. I was genuinely surprised by the quality and variety available. Prices were more affordable than expected, especially for such a popular Bangkok destination. I had a generously sized spicy chicken dish that kept me full all day, and the ramen noodles came in a massive portion—definitely satisfying! The dining area is spacious with plenty of seating, making it ideal for indoor dining. It caters to a steady flow of visitors and still manages to feel comfortable. Bonus points for using real silverware—it adds a nice touch of class. I really enjoyed my brunch here. The morning hours are especially peaceful, offering a more relaxed atmosphere before the evening crowds arrive. Highly recommend stopping by for a memorable and tasty experience!

The food here was bland and overpriced — definitely not worth what you’re paying for. Even worse, although the food court supposedly closes at 8:30 PM, staff started rushing us to finish our meal well before that. They came by multiple times to clear our table while we were still eating, which made the whole experience feel rushed and uncomfortable. I would not recommend eating here — poor value, poor service.

Pricey food court. You have to pay THB15 for the cash card alone. Average price range of dishes are THB250 and small portions.

Pad Thai Fai Ta Lu. Boon Lert. The two stalls that get my 5 thumbs up. Food stalls, street food style, with Michelin mentions and rightly so at the Mahanakhon Eatery on the 2nd floor. There were quite a few Michelin stalls in this eatery! Pad Thai Fai Ta Lu. They had one of the best Pad Thais I’ve eaten. The crispy pork and wonton was heavenly. I wish I could return to Bangkok and order these again. The Hainanese was so so, I wouldn’t order it from this stall (Jek Meng) There’s a connecting bridge from the skytrain station that brings you into the eatery. Very reasonable prices (aka cheap!!) for such good quality food!

You can sit at anywhere in this eatery and order from any restos in there. I like that there are varieties of food. Service is a bit lagging. Food was alright. ICI dessert was interesting. -1 star though. After we finished paying, we found out there’s 10% voucher being handed out. No one informed us about the discount 😒

We enjoyed a delightful dinner at Thai Taste Hub. The venue offers a variety of choices, and we opted for a mix of seafood and Italian. The oysters were fresh and offered great value for money, and the soft crab salad was quite appealing. For our main course, we chose the half chicken, which was generously portioned, easily sufficient for two. We concluded our meal with a serving of Tiramisu for dessert. We also savored glasses of white wine, which complemented our meal beautifully. If the mentioned dishes don't appeal to you, I’d recommend trying the Thai dishes; from my observation, they looked tantalizing and seemed to be priced reasonably. The entire meal cost us around 4000 THB, a value made even more worthwhile as it included complimentary tickets to enjoy the stunning sky view from the 78th floor of the Mahanakorn building. The overall experience, infused with the variety and quality of the dishes, was lovely and offered a peek into the culinary diversity available at Thai Taste Hub.
