This was my first time here. I haven’t had vegetarian Indian food before so I’m comparing it to meaty Indian food. When you sit there is an empty tray with 8 empty containers. Servers come quickly to fill everything and as you eat they return to fill the things you want to eat. Is all you can eat. 1. There’s a fried battered vegetable that’s topped with a sweet white sauce that was good. There’s 2 types of roti: white flour and whole wheat. I preferred the former. There’s a green and red sauce but I didn’t use it much. There’s also salad. Also a bland rice sponge cake. 2. 8 containers: -Paneer in a butter “chicken” style sauce. My favorite because of the flavors. -potatoes in a yellow curry -3 types of lentils: sweet, salt, sour -sweet milk with rice. I really liked this and treated it as dessert. -2 other things I forgot what they were 3. A buttermilk drink. It was too funky for me. Overall a great option for vegetarians and vegans, but not for me. I found it too bland with mild flavors.

The employees working in this restaurant are very good and they feed you a lot. On top of that, they are very humble and that's why we like going there. The taste of the food here is very good. The variety is very nice. The special thing is that the owner of any restaurant that offers unlimited food has the full responsibility that the customers who come there are served very well and get full return of the money they spent and they go back with satisfaction. If the feeling of eating at home is not found in a restaurant, then the customer prefers to go to another restaurant where it is better to pay per item. Anyway, we like the food there very much and we will like to go again 🕉️🙏

Food : The food was ok. They had good number of options. But, except for Paneer rest everything was average. They served us jalebi for dessert. Probably they had fresh batch and stale batch cos couple of us in our table got the stale ones. It tasted like it was made from oil which was reused plenty of times. I even developed cough for few days later. I did bring this up to the person who was managing the guests. But he did not check anything, apart from giving me a strange look. Ambience : Nothing great especially for the amount of money they charge for the food. Service : Was good, they keep checking if you need more servings. But, most of them don’t know the name of the dish they are serving.

Delicious Indian cuisine with a wide variety of flavors and textures. I enjoyed every item I tried and highly recommend this to anyone who wants explore the flavors of vegetarian thali cuisine. There was a wide variety of flavors ranging from salty and savory to light and sweet. I would definitely eat here again.

The food was amazing! I LIKED every single curry on my thaali! The restaurant was also so kind as to have a “NO NUTS” sign for another person at my table. The staff is also nice. I would like add there were also some flies in the restaurant, so not too great with hygiene. But still a great place!

We went here for dinner around 7 pm. And had to wait for 20 mins for place. But the wait was worth the food tastes awesome and service is best, they wont let you plate be empty until you say NO. Everything is vegetarian and food tastes like home. Spcl mention to their buttermilk.

I had an utterly disappointing experience at Maharaja Bhog in Houston, and it’s hard to overstate how poorly this visit went. My family and I drove five hours from Dallas—five hours!—specifically to dine here for the start of our spring break, only to be met with some of the most deplorable customer service I’ve ever encountered. We were a party of seven, and though a few members were running just seven minutes behind, the staff refused to seat us. Instead, they made us wait outside, even as they promptly seated groups who arrived after us. The man at the front was unreasonably rigid, barking orders like we were inconveniencing him by daring to show up. My four-year-old daughter needed to use the restroom, and despite her obvious discomfort, he still wouldn’t let us step inside. A hungry, restless child denied basic decency—how heartless can you get? Desperate, I asked for a table for three so my daughter could at least eat and use the facilities while we waited for the rest of our party. They reluctantly agreed, but when my other friends arrived, the same front-desk tyrant shouted “Don’t enter!” in front of the entire restaurant, humiliating us. One of my friends was so mortified they turned around and left without even stepping inside. The food? I wouldn’t know. My wife and I were served, but after the ordeal, we couldn’t bring ourselves to eat. We paid $56.27 for two untouched meals, and not once did anyone apologize or offer to waive the bill for the food we didn’t consume. No empathy, no accountability—just a cold, transactional shrug. This wasn’t just bad service; it was a masterclass in how to ruin someone’s day. Maharaja Bhog turned what should’ve been a special outing into the worst possible start to our spring break. Save your time, money, and dignity—go literally anywhere else.

Visited the place since most of the friends recommended it. The service was excellent , the food was decent but pricy for a veg thali where you can’t go over again with the items they serve.

Yelp
Its been so long since I have come back to one of my most favorite food places. Service at Maharaja is fit for royalty, no arguments there but I decided to try their lunch box option on this weekday. If u have the luxury of an extended lunch, and in the mood for special treatment, by all means go here, otherwise the to ho is quite a good option too as I discovered today. The full meal costs almost the same as in house dining except that u can pack up remaining and eat later. Ofcourse, the opportunity cost lost is the unlimited meal and the service that comes with it. If u enter Maharaja Bhog, u will only see smiling faces- thats like the inevitable effect. A must must for anyone looking to understand royal treatment, that's the ambiance of the place. To-go order of full meal came with most of the bells and whistles (I am yet to find the panner in the thali box) but overall good.

Yelp
We arrived 10min prior to opening & a line formed quickly behind us. The doors opened & in we poured to smiling faces & immediate seating. Service started right away, Granted, this was a new experience for me - I can't speak to authenticity or even tell you what we ate or if we ate it correctl. . I can tell you that I LOVED IT. I was mixing things & trying flavor combinations. Perhaps the most impressive thing was that, for the first time I ever, I did get seconds on tofu! I didn't have to guess on what to order. Fantastic! I waved off the never-ending ladles many times or I'd probably still be there eating from bottomless bowls. It came to $112 for our party of 4 adults, which we thought was reasonable. The service was fantastic. The manager/owner (?) stopped by several times to check-in & encouraged us to eat more & skip work. Ha - staff were friendly & welcoming. If you leave here hungry, it's on you! The food starts the moment you are seated & doesn't stop until you call it. We are thrilled with our first stop after landing.

Yelp
I have no words to describe how much I recommend this place. The absolute food coma. Make sure to go sufficiently hungry, as they will keep serving you. The manager is the same person I've seen years ago when I was doing fellowship here. The super soft chapatis, puri, many veg curries, the khichdi and rice, dal bhati churma.. good god. Just heavenly food.
google avatar

Lauren K.

Yelp
It's a bit of a drive for me to get here, but every time I do, I remember exactly why it's worth it. The thali rotates with a variety of tasty selections. The wait staff is quick and efficient. The food is all vegetarian and all delicious.

Aspi T.

Yelp
Pricey- cos not at all flavorful kinda hospital food, they expect us to pay them large amounts of tips. Not worth a bit look elsewhere if you need your money's worth.

Yelp
Maharaja Bhog has consistently been a reason for us to drive from Austin to Houston for some great quality Indian food. I think the experience in Houston for Indian food is so diverse and this place is no exception. Ambiance is great. I love the concept of Thalis and the servers are super generous in service always offering more and more. Certain dishes are standouts, like the basundi and the cutlets but I've noticed that this time a few of the curries are bit oilier than before. I think the dal baati and churma are nice and they have a regular dal and kadhi which are good with the plain rice. However I have to knock off one star because the host stand was really trying to rush us out giving us the check while I was still eating and trying multiple times to clear my plate as well when my husband was in the bathroom. I know there is a rush and want to be mindful of that but it just makes me feel a bit frustrated when the business is looking to turn over my table specifically when they wait on other tables to finish before giving them the bill. Overall I think the experience is good, and would definitely return but would love to come and not be rushed out!
google avatar

Roshan R.

Yelp
Mediocre taste. The unlimited part of the thali was pretty cool and the service was not bad. The dessert - basoondi was delicious. But very mediocre food for the price. Definitely overpriced and overrated. Also, the quality of food and service deteriorated over the years. And the manager is really rude. The restaurant closes at 3 pm but he was rushing us out and the rest of the tables before we could finish, at 2:40 pm. And the experience is not enjoyable. The whole staff is constantly hurrying you up.
google avatar

Desh M.

Yelp
This place is incredible! And also a vegetarian's dream. The food is authentic and so is the experience. You're served thaali style - it's a set menu that everyone gets and it's essentially a served vegetarian buffet for $25/person. Waiters will come around and refill your plate based on what you want. The line outside this place during weekend lunches is pretty crazy, so I'd get there early. They run this place like a machine - you come in, eat, and leave. And the service parallels that. So as long as you come in expecting that, you'll have a great experience! I have friends and family who visit from out of the state just to go to this restaurant!
google avatar

Deepika N.

Yelp
I love Maharaja Bhog! Amazing service, the owner is very friendly and inquires about any dietary restrictions to accommodate. They specialize in the thali which is basically an all you can eat plate where they keep refilling all the items until you're full. Everything was delicious! I recommend coming here for a late lunch (and skipping breakfast) or early dinner so you can actually make the most out of it.

Yelp
We dined here tonight as a table of 13 and I have to say that it was a very disappointing experience. We had come here about three years ago and it was a royal experience with handwashing then. There is no handwashing, apparently post Covid, meanwhile they have a glass container of mouth freshener that each person takes by hand. I have no idea what removing the handwashing station (where they go to each person to clean their hand before a meal with a tray and steel pitcher) has to do with Covid, it is just an excuse to do less work and not provide as good service. All of the food was terrible except for the poori and roti. Dhokla was disgusting and flavorless. All of the subzi were watered down and sweet with no flavor. Service was good initially and then we were pretty much told to get out once we had finished eating because they needed our table. They are quick to bring your refills, but it feels like you're being told to hurry up and eat and leave. Also, the soda was served warm with a glass of ice. Kids also found the food too spicy. we will not be back. There is no royal ambience as their website states.
google avatar

Pooja N.

Yelp
Loved the dishes! Everything on my plate was so good and the ambiance was amazing - makes you feel truly like a king or queen with quality ingredients and service. A must visit in Houston!
google avatar

Foodie By N.

Yelp
The two stars are only for service. All the Spanish people who cook and are waiters, were amazing. Save your money and go to a café buffet. It's basically simple, home cooking. They call it a glorified thali. Nothing special and $35 with tax, tip, now that's is crazy expensive.
google avatar

Barbara N.

Yelp
Thank you to the owner who was kind enough to walk me through the entire experience! It was my first time here and I loved the setting, the attentiveness and hospitality. Food was wonderful too!
google avatar

Bryan V.

Yelp
This was a great dining experience! I loved how I was able to try so many new dishes with their AYCE dinner thali. The owner/manager was super helpful in explaining every dish presented. The servers do a good job of stopping by your table often to ask if you want anything refilled. My favorite dishes were the ones that contained Lima beans, eggplant, and lentils. The roti was fresh, pillowy, and addicting. Also loved the appetizers, sauces, and desserts. I was thoroughly satisfied with my meal, especially since everything was vegetarian!
google avatar

MM S.

Yelp
Food was okay, gives the authentic feel of the natives Service was fair, servers always in your face for replenishing the plate Ambience is noisy, place is very crowded Don't get lost on the way to bathroom they may end up putting an apron and name tag on ya
google avatar

Mahima U.

Yelp
The food is so satisfying and worth it that I have drive multiple times, from Austin to Houston, just for the thali. The business owner/manager (uncle) is way too sweet and friendly, makes you feel like you are in India. The service is fast and as nice as expected in a thali place. This place always has a waiting. Parking is not an issue. The ambiance is nice.
google avatar

Lailai P.

Yelp
It was quite an experience. Once we sat down, people just start to bring us food and pour into the little dishes. It was fun and everything was very tasty. Some are spicer than others but everything was delicious. Will definitely come back for more.
google avatar

Lou C.

Yelp
I have been inhaling the delicious vegetarian food every time I drop off stuff at Goodwill behind Mahabharata Bhog during Covid pandemic. They had been operating and never close. Fast forward to 2023! I was grateful that I finally got a chance to eat here. I came here for a friend's birthday. We had lunch $22.99 was well spent. Because of their all you can eat in the format of bringing food to you, instead of get up and walk over to the buffet line. I have consumed enough Indian food, I could literally explain it to my friend as the food placed on our trays. My favorite part of meal was the variety of starches. I can ask as little or much as I want.
google avatar

Raj D.

Yelp
This is a vegetarian cloud nine. They serve Indian food in Thali style (small metal bowls with an individual dish). They constantly refill everything as you eat. Very tasty and something like 12-13 course meal!

Raghav K.

Yelp
One of my colleague was in town so we picked this place for dinner. This is one of the best Indian foods I had in a very long time, little pricey think paid over $30 for dinner thali on a weeknight dinner. The amount of food, varieties that were severed were really good and my first time experiencing rajastani and North Indian food which were very tasty. The staff are really friendly and sweet, constantly checking us if we need anything. Highlights for me were dal batti and their fresh roti. Ambiance wise was decent nothing exceptional and also manager or owner were constantly checking on us and asking feed back which I rarely see in Indian restaurants. Overall bit pricey but definitely would god back any day.

Priya R.

Yelp
Vegetarian thali Time!! They are known for the their thali's so we had to try them! We went after lunch, so it wants too crowded and the service was pretty great! There was just so much food that we couldn't finish it all! Everything was flavorful and there was quite a variety to chose from, but it was a bit mild in terms of spice for my taste. The thali is on the expensive end of $28 per plate, which I thought was a bit excessive. I have had other thali's at other indian restaurants that provide a better quality of food with maybe a few less items and they only cost about $18. Overall, it's a great one time experience, but I'm not sure if we would come here often give the price and the value for what we are getting.
google avatar

ravi c.

Yelp
Food : we were served chaas, two types of dal, two sabzi, paneer, kadi, chapathi, puri, dhokla, aloo tikki, khichdi and pulav. Food tasted exceptional as usual. Service is always outstanding, I never had an empty curry or plate
google avatar

Alexus N.

Yelp
Not sure why I waited so long to try this place. They're known for the premium Veg Thalis. I've had veg thalis before but this place takes the cake! First important need to know: NO MEAT. ALL VEGETARIAN and bomb af. Second: No menu and ALL YOU CAN EAT style!! You'll be seated by the host/manager then the servers start coming around and adding food to your thali (plate). They have different dishes everyday. You'll also be poured a cup of milk. I am not a fan of straight milk, but I took a teeny sip and it wasn't for me (I believe it's a special kind of milk they make in-house). Water jugs are also provided on your table. As soon as you're low on a dish they ask if you want a refill. The customer service is great and the food is even better. You'll see lots of families here eating and laughing. Truly a wonderful experience. I'll have to say it's the best Veg Thali in Htown!
google avatar

Shirin L.

Yelp
If you're looking for authentic Indian thali then this place is a must!! Their food is soooo delicious and it is served the way it would be in India. The servers keep coming and serving you food non stop. I do think that they need to have like a card on the table (like they have at the Brazilian restaurants) that tells the server when to come and when to stop cuz sometimes it's a little too much. The place is clean and nicely done but it's too small for the number of ppl that stand in line to be seated.

C N.

Yelp
Totally overrated place for an Indian Vegetarian place. Number of katoras had different versions of Khadi. All watery liquids devoid of taste Gujarati cuisine is known for. $35 for daal, khadi, rotis, ordinary dishes is nothing short of highway robbery. I love Gujarati/Surati cuisine. They did not even have undhiya two times I went along with my few of my relatives and friends out of town. Houston had place called "Thaali" until few years ago. That was thousand times better than this place.
google avatar

Devi K.

Yelp
The service here was ridiculous. First we got reprimanded for taking a photo with the server in the pic - she moved into our picture while we were in the middle of taking it and she wouldn't listen when we tried to explain. Then we asked to be topped up on paneer for several kids in our party. They were all politely raising their hands when she asked who wanted paneer. She pretended to ignore them and at first we thought she was just teasing. But then that went on repeatedly for an uncomfortably long time before the kids answered "yes, please" to her question, to which she nodded approval and gave them paneer. What???!!! On the food - it was all good. But it wasn't anything more special than what you'd get in a typical North Indian thaali - so the price $28 + default 18% tip that was added is simply not justified. I wouldn't come again just for the value alone given the good is not particularly unique. But that coupled with the ridiculous service will make me actively stay away and not recommend.

Neha M.

Yelp
Was in Houston yesterday and went to Maharaja Bhog. I would definitely mention that the standard has gone down a bit from what it was earlier. But service is still great, few of the items were really good like Basundi and Halwa. Overall would say decent place to go with lot of varieties of curries.
google avatar

Linh P.

Yelp
First time coming on a Wednesday night and right when we walked in we were seated immediately by the kind manager and the first thing he asked us is if we had any food allergies to which they are very accomodating to. My friend who has a peanut allergy had a sign displayed on our table saying no peanuts/nuts. This allows all the servers to know not to put anything with peanuts/nuts on her plate. Since it was our first time here, the manager explained in detail each of the curries and everything that was on our plate. I had no idea when coming here, but everything on your plate is also unlimited. So you can just eat what you like and keep on getting it. I enjoyed the two little appetizers on the plate (one was fried and the other was steamed). They also had two different types of naan and one of them was sweet and I never had sweet naan before but it was very good. The plate also came with two desserts as well (the sweet rice and the mango yogurt).

Ellen G.

Yelp
We had a total blast. If you've never experienced the Indian version of a buffet/plate lunch, you're about to have your mind blown. We've been to India several times and this place is just as good as anything over there. The servers were attentive and food was tasty. Everything we tried slapped.
google avatar

Hengzhi Z.

Yelp
Unlimited potato, paneer, okra, and lentil soup! I've never felt more full in my life. The servers were also nice and kept coming to my table to ask if I wanted more food. Owner was also really nice and asked about my dietary restrictions and gave me an overview of the food choices they have.
google avatar

Meena K.

Yelp
Zero stars ..Worst service. Manager was very unkind on a Christmas Day at 1145 am when it was not even full. Didn't allow our group with toddlers to wait for 5 mins in the waiting area on a chilly & rainy day. We were visiting Houston and this was in our bucket list. We left this place immediately and instead went to Shiv Sagar for B2B meals..to get quick and respectful service.
google avatar

Vandana M.

Yelp
I'm in food coma while writing this review. So much amazing food! Unlimited vegetarian thali at its best. Everything gets severed HOT! We drove 2.5 hrs to get here to experience this famous restaurant. Don't miss asking for paan at the end. There is an extra charge for the pan but it's the best pan I have had in all of US.

Dhivya A.

Yelp
What wonderful service! They keep coming by and asking you if you want more, even though the restaurant had technically closed. Food is yummy gujurati vegetarian fare, but what impressed us most were the service and price.
google avatar

Ed J.

Yelp
Much more than a restaurant, this is a cultural experience. Excellent food. The delivery is very different from what we are used to. The food selection is varied and quite remarkable.
google avatar

Atul P.

Yelp
Super expensive for the food that they serve. They used to be good and unique but slowly the price is raised to unreasonable levels. Also most of the time the food items would not be available when you ask them to get it and you would have to wait for a long time to get poori, chapatti. Also they kind of go stingy on the items that are being asked more from customers.
google avatar

Yamir G.

Yelp
Food - Tasted nice, authentic and good variety of sabzis Service - The time(closing time) at which we went the service was pretty decent, the food kept coming out at a decent pace as there was no other crowd. However if there were more people dining in, the service wouldn't have been as great. Also because it was closing time, we didn't get chai either Ambience - Typical Indian restaurant ambiance. Nothing outstanding and nothing too bad
google avatar

Zain R.

Yelp
I've had Maharaja Bhog on my places to try for as long as I can possibly remember. Finally I got to try it and let me tell you that the food never stops so you will get your fill! We got two of the thali dinners and even though we didn't get asked if we wanted rice until we were almost done with it, I did not mind because the puri and the chapati were absolutely amazing. Since it was our first time dining here I think a little bit of description of what the items were would have been helpful. Other than the obvious things like the lentils, the greens with paneer, and kheer (maybe?), I had a little hard time identifying what I was eating but thankfully almost everything was delicious so I just kept enjoying myself. My absolute favorite dishes of the night was the okra and the halwa. I hear that their menu is always fresh and changes regularly. It's a little pricey but for being a completely vegetarian buffet, I highly recommend it because it is absolutely delicious.

Yelp
I went to the location in Mississauga, Ontario CA. This is a one of a kind experience! My husband and I were in Ontario celebrating our anniversary and just happened to run past this location. People were lined up outside and there wasn't a spot in the lot open. We decided to come back earlier the next night. We were there at 5:45 for the 6:00 PM open time and there was already a queue! We parked, got in line, and settled in for a short wait. Promptly at 6:00 PM, the doors opened and a host of attendants, servers, and managers were moving in a rhythm akin to something out of the dancing dishes scene in beauty and the beast. It was magnificent. We were seated and servers started to come and bring dishes. We were the only black Americans in the place and the entire staff pitched in to explain different dishes to us and make us feel very comfortable and welcome. This is a vegetarians dream! We are meat eaters, but did not feel "left out" or unsatisfied at all. The tables are closely seated, which I liked. It made for a very sociable, friendly experience. The outside of the building is very plain, but they spared no expense on the interior decor. I truly felt like I was on a movie set. All in all, just go. If you've read this far, just go!
google avatar

R Scott R.

Yelp
I always enjoy dinning with my friends at this restaurant! The food is always fresh and I thoroughly enjoy the authentic vegetarian meal in Royal Thali style.
google avatar

Stella H.

Yelp
If someone hold a gun to my head and told me I have to be a vegetarian, this would be my go to spot. Amazing food, served in cute trays, and the restaurant makes you feel super welcomed. I would advise coming early for lunch/brunch since the place is not that big and it's always packed!
google avatar

Yelp
Had a great time! It's a nice experience to have because the food is super authentic and delicious! The whole plate thing is really cool. The service was fast through most of the evening and they explained kindly how to eat the food. The place and the design makes you feel like you're in India! Will definitely recommend!

Tanushri S.

Yelp
We've been to Maharaja Bhog a few times now. I use to love coming here each time I'm in Houston to get a delicious vegetarian thali. This time around I left with an underwhelming experience. Normally the staff is very engaging and a true delight. The price point of each thali is 28 dollars USD, which frankly speaking is on the higher end. With that being said.. each time around the overall experience is what justified that price point. This time around the food was okay, nothing to rave about and the service wasn't as exceptional as it normally is. Hoping that they can revive the way they use to function. The place itself is clean & consistently busy. If you are going on a weekend expect wait times!
google avatar

Kirsten D.

Yelp
I've been here before and it was really good in the past but it seems the quality has gone down a little. It's not a massive change but the change is there. For $20 a person I actually expected a bit better. I know prices for food have gone up but when the menu is Veg I didn't expect the quality to not follow the price increase. Don't get me wrong, the service was great, to me it always has been but I wasn't overly impressed with the food or the price. I'd go again just to see if maybe it was an off day because I always try to give restaurants a second chance.

Gamini G.

Yelp
I absolutely love the food variety here. The food is unlimited so go with a big appetite. The taste of the food is quite authentic!

Yelp
This place is pretty great! My friend suggested we try it out for lunch and I wasn't sure what to expect just from their website. I knew they had a thali option and had heard Maharaja Bhog described as a "thali buffet" but had no idea what that meant. I can say with certainty that a thali buffet is exactly what Maharaja Bhog offers, and I'm a fan! Two friends and I stopped by for lunch on a Saturday and were quickly seated at a booth. There were thali trays in front of us, which weren't empty for long. Several servers milled around the restaurant, instantly filling our thalis as we began to chow down. The thali was huge and all vegetarian. They offered delicious vegetable options, paneer, dal and other chutneys (I'm not sure of the names of all of them, but they were delicious)! We also received a limitless supply of puris and chapatis. At the end, they offered us jalebi for dessert as well. Everything tasted pretty great and I stuffed myself as best I could! The servers were very attentive and frequently stopped by to ask if we needed refills on anything. I only wish I had been a bit more hungry when I got there so I could enjoy more of the delicious offerings. It was a little expensive for my taste, but given that it's an all you can eat thali spot, the price was warranted. I would love to come back here, but next time I will definitely diet in advance!

- limited food choice for dinner and average tasting - just one chaat for appetizer and one mohan thaal halwa for dessert - don't call it basundhi and say there are two desserts. Its the worst item - delays in delivering food without any updates - told five different waiters and the manager on duty but there were still delays - pretty bland in flavors - very expensive (189+ for 6 people thali) - 25 minutes wait time and large crowds Not sure how they are having the rush, it has to be based on memories. I expected more based on past reccos of multiple appetizers, desserts and tasty food. The positive of last night dinner the mohanthal, thats it.

Yelp
This place used to be nice when I used to go about 10 yrs ago. This round when I took some colleagues the food was just meh and blah and really nothing to write home about. The varieties have gone down. Food taste and quality of what's provided has significantly diminished. We felt rushed and even before we were done eating, they took our plates and asked if we were done. When we said yes, they asked us to get up and make room for others waiting for the table. Yikes!! On top of it all, my colleague and I were talking while waiting for another colleague to return from restroom before we left and we were asked to leave. So disappointed. This was embarrassing as I'd taken some non-Indian work colleagues raving about their service. We felt pushed out. Foods not worth it anymore. Don't bother going here!

Yelp
This restaurant did not treat its customers appropriately. We came here for Christmas and the manager or owner kept pushing us out of restaurant. There was a waiting area in the restaurant and they did not want us to be here. I have not been to a worse place for service in terms of Indian restaurants. We had kids in the party and the person had no courtesy for us.

Yelp
Love eating here for lunch - this is an all vegetarian place, so don't go in expecting anything else. It's a thali (round plate) where an assortment of dishes are served, predominantly from northern India - Rajasthan and Gujarat. As a sit-down, table-service restaurant, the servers comes around and put what you want on your plate; if you have any dietary restrictions, please let them know when you get there - they accommodate vegan, gluten-free, and peanut-free options. If you don't know what's what, the staff are super nice and explain things to you, including how to eat it. Their menu also does change frequently, so every visit ends up being almost a new experience. Wen I walk in, I let them know that I don't want dairy dishes and want a spicy thali, so they servers are able to give me the right dishes: - 2 appetizers. - Dal bhati. - 4 curries: Spinach, potato, and some spicy vegetable curry. - 2 different types of dal: One was sweet (my favourite) along with kadhi. - Rotis and puris. - 2 different deserts, salads, sauces and masala chaas (buttermilk). The thali cost us around $23 per person. I like food in general, but well prepared vegetarian food is hard to come by, and this place has always done every dish well. I tried almost all of the food that was served and I liked most of them. The food has always been fresh, delicious, and tasty. The service is always well spaced, with the servers coming around often asking to refill your plate with food. There can be a wait time if you come with a larger (4+ folks), especially on weekends. There's plenty of parking in the parking lot in front.
