"Sabrina Delcros and Richard Juste, who previously ran the restaurant Idée Saveurs, are now at the helm of the inviting and spacious Mahé, which has a peaceful terrace sheltered from onlookers. The chef creates dishes that he describes as "straightforward and no nonsense", cooking and putting them together with notable precision, eg grilled leeks, soft-boiled egg, potato gnocchi, parmesan and truffle; monkfish tail, kohlrabi risotto-style, carrots in olive oil sauce vierge with fennel. Small selection of local wines." - Michelin Inspector
This island is truly a gem—crystal-clear blue waters, pristine surroundings, and effortless navigation make it a dream to explore. Life here moves at a relaxed pace, and the abundance of exotic fresh fruits adds to its charm. An ideal getaway for anyone eager to discover the beauty and culture of this country.

Beautiful place & beautiful beaches with crystal clear water & white sands But Some local workers are really very rude (guides, airport staff, drivers etc) They surely need to learn to be soft & polite to the guests.. Also experienced cat calling several times by foreign workers & that was bad experience.. Supermarket owners are quite humble..

Chase all morning, until a half past noon, the whales disappear for good and we are left facing an empty sea.
Easy to sight whales. Our team prepare equipment before diving to meet whales.

Mahé is a beautiful island, the main island is Seychelles, the vibes and people are lively and welcoming.
Restaurants and hotels are scattered all over with fresh sea food that are very delicious, especially their local cuisine.
Public beaches are easily accessible many parts and you can reach it easily.
The locals speak English and French as well as Seychellois.
Cards are accepted in most of the places.

Paradise island, all beaches has its own beauty, must see all, don’t stuck on one point not like maldives type holiday. Take a good snorkel set with you. Don’t forget to check pcr test requirements of your airway or your homeland, cheapest pcr test is 105€ per person on Mahe.

Awesome place with Awesome people.
Best beaches. Thrilling mountain roads.
Do rent a car costing not more than $60 for a day.
You can also take local bus (SCR7/ride) which take you to almost every corner of the island. But do make a note of timings as they don't operate post 7pm.
Travel across the island through mountains.
Enjoy the beauty of calm beaches and relax at world class beach resorts.
