My wife and I had our wedding here recently and have nothing but appreciation and gratitude for Maiella and their staff. The general manager Eduardo was a huge reason why we wanted to book this place. He made us feel well taken care of from the start of the wedding process all the way to the end. The dishes and cocktails were absolutely delicious and the lighting in the restaurant and decor looked better than we had hoped for. If you’re planning an intimate wedding or special event, we would highly recommend Maiella. Thanks so much for making our special day a truly memorable one!

The first time I came here it was a few minutes too late and we got turned back around. Anthony was very sorry, asked if we can come back & said he’d take care of us. Well, I came back a few days later and let’s just say Anthony was a man of his word!(thanks for the round of drinks) This place is incredible. Everything was a HIT! I brought my clients here during this visit and we had a blast. The ambiance, the drinks, the food and the staff were EXCELLENT. Every bite was delicious & I absolutely loved the pasta show! I may have to travel back here monthly.

Came in by myself for a 6:30pm mid July Saturday dinner without a reservation. The restaurant was bustling. Lots of people were sitting outdoors, too -- it was a nice cooler day after a mild heat wave. Got a table after 7-8 minutes after two other parties. For appetizers I had the burrata with prosciutto and vin cotto. Burrata with tomatoes is a typical appetizer for me at Italian restaurants, but I had never had burrata with prosciutto before so I decided to try it. I think this one was just OK. 3 ⭐. I didn't think the sweet vin cotto went well with burrata, in my opinion. Neither did the prosciutto. Overall, I will avoid this dish. For mains, I had the linguine vongole, and this was more to my liking. Overall 4 ⭐. There were about 14 clams -- yes I counted 🤣 -- but many of them were quite small. Nevertheless they were good, and overall the portion was good. Final note on the decor, which was delightful. Nothing too fancy, but a little bit of effort on the artificial plants and flowers, strategically placed, goes a long way in making the space feel welcoming and homely. 5 ⭐ for the atmosphere. Putting everything together, it's a 4 ⭐ overall for me.

I was excited for this place but there is some seriously lacking on attention to detail. When we sat down one of the wine glasses has lipstick stain on it. We then ordered oysters and there was a bug on it.. the short rib was tender but very dry, I thought it was supposed to come in a red wine sauce but there was little to none. The ambiance is nice & the service is incredible but there were some missing elements if they’re trying to be an upscale place.

Their roasted potatoes are SOO good!! My boyfriend and I went there and the food and atmosphere were amazing, the waiters were very attentive and refilled our waters whenever it was low. Absolutely amazing place and their natural lighting through their glass windows made everything in their restaurant look beautiful! Their interior design was also very nice and fancy!! I loved it here and will definitely come back to eat here!!

I was excited to try the restaurant and visited it with my partner for dinner and we had a nice time. some of the dishes were confusing, the combination of flavors just didn’t go well together. But some dishes were great, I would go back for the Margarita pizza and the tiramisu. I would like to go back and try the other dishes.

As fresh as pasta can get! I brought my mom here for her birthday and I was very pleased with not only the experience of the fresh pasta but also the incredible service. Our server Josa made my mom feel extra special on her day. He was very attentive, kind and funny. I will definitely come back to try more pasta and will not sit anywhere Josa is not serving.

This restaurant is massive, lots of different areas/ ambiences, including outdoor area. It’s a major operation, hence the service had loads of failures. We were left hanging for almost an hour waiting for starters to arrive, water to be refilled, empty drinks to be reordered. We watched as all tables around us ( who were seated after us) had their bread, starters and everything before us). Our complaints were met with deep apologies and they tried to make it up for it. It was unintentional but unpleasant to be hanging there forever. Everything defused with the arrival of our food and extra attention afterwards. Food: not bad. I’m super picky with Italian food. The spaghetti vongole came without the shells (was it from cans?!). It was not the worst nor the best vongole I had. Surely can be improved. Our party of four all enjoyed the food but it’s nothing special. Tagliatelle al tartufo: not bad but I had better. Seafood pasta: not bad but I had better. The problem with Italian food is that for the most part I can cook all these dishes much better. Overall a good night out but unlikely to return for the food nor the service.

So happy to be inside @6PM in the snow! They keep it so warm and cozy here. They were able to great us and check out heavy coats. They made us feel welcomed for our large party to celebrate our Hofstra Grad !! It was very festive inside and once of party checked coats we seated at the partition facing the bar. They came around to order drinks and brought out bread. They offer coke products and (non) and alcoholic beverages. They even have Xmas themed drinks. The food was delicious pizza was hot and cheesy! We had a large party and a few of us orders the salmon , the chicken parm , the short ribs and the kids got spaghetti (but weren't please with the taste or the portion size and has two extra slices of our pizza pie). I'd def come back. The bill wasn't too bad either for like 12 adults and 4 kids either. *it is a little dark inside so our older party members had to use their phones for lights. * individual stall restrooms; very small * VERY heavy door to get into the restaurant

The staff was all inviting and attentive. Our waiting made jokes, suggestions, and was patient while our party of 8 looked over the menu. They took pictures, seated us before our whole party was available, and was just pleasant. The ambiance of this place was calm and luxurious. The lighting is warm and cozy and the winter/Christmas decore was very luxe. A few ornaments and lots of greenery. It was really pretty. The food was pretty good. I ordered the salmon with string beans and potatoes ( the branzino was unavailable this particular time). The salmon was cooked to perfection and everything was tasty. I had a holiday themed dream: Saint Nick and it was delicious. Sweet and tangy with peach and pineapple with a Prosecco foam. I also tried the cheesecake which was rich and sweet. Although the parking was typical (terrible in LiC) it was a great night!

Oh Maiella.. we meet again! Went here for my bday dinner after not being here for a long time - the last time I was here Chef Rocco was still the chef! The ambiance is pretty and aesthetically pleasing as always - however I am sad to say I'm a little disappointed with the food. The appetizers are what saved this meal essentially. The Caesar salad is a 10/10 & the calamari / octopus were tasty! The meatballs were a bit salty and were falling apart.. the main courses as well - I'm not sure if it was a bad night but the steak & chicken parm were incredibly salty, the cacio peppe tasted so peppery (they do make it table-side which is a nice touch so maybe we should've asked for less but I didn't notice until we started eating) - We definitely drank a pitcher of water alone. All in all - maybe I'd be back for a drink & apps on a warm sunny day to admire the view - but will not be back for dinner! :(

The food was great, I liked the calamari and the cake was my favorite. The branzino has potential. The service was fine. The ambiance was beautifully decorated with Christmas stuff. Seems like a great place for a family dinner/date.

I used to come here all the time because of the quality of food and beautiful view they have of Gantry but the food has really gone down in quality which is upsetting. I'm not sure what happened but I came here for dinner for a birthday celebration and the food itself was so salty that I could not enjoy my meal. The only edible entrees were the Caesar salad & chocolate cake. I hope they change things around and go back to the Maiella I know and love!!

Order: - Lunch Prix Fixe - Beef Meatball (5/5) - Pizza Margarita (5/5) - Spaghetti Pomodoro (4/5) - Salmone (5/5) - Tiramisu (4/5) Pros: - Great prix fixe menu that is on the affordable side - Convenient location right next to the Pepsi Cola sign at Gantry Park - Food came out relatively quickly and wait staff was attentive - Good seating with space for larger parties (saw a baby shower happening while we were dining here) Cons: - Regular menu is pretty expensive - I found the tomato sauce for the spaghetti too acidic Overall: The prix fixe menu is well worth a visit

Celebration dinner for the little one today for her academic achievements. Food was excellent as always and service was superb!

Wowwwww! I can still taste the truffle pasta and fresh bread months later--a super large elegant space in LIC. Friends took me here for a birthday dinner--the staff was super welcoming, accommodating, and professional. We thoroughly enjoyed our meals from apps to close. Would look to going back. It is a great place for family but also date night dress-up. I would even consider the pace for an event (birthday dinner).

Not only is this restaurant of the most beautifully decorated, it also has a food that is as delicious as the place looks. Service was great too. I came here for dinner with 2 friends. We all really enjoyed our meal. This is one of the best Italian restaurants in Queens The three of us dined on a Wednesday night. We were seated right away once our full party arrived and the food came out pretty quickly. Server was also very attentive. To start, we ordered the goat cheese salad. It was really delicious and great for 3 people to share. The pizza also came out with the salad even though it was intended as an entree. Was very good! We even had leftovers. For entree we had chicken Parmesan, which would have been one of the best I have had if it came with more sauce. We had to order it cream sauce. With the sauce was top 3 for sure. I would recommend adding more sauce when serving. Table side tagliatelle Al tartufo was excellent! Loved watching the chef make the pasta table side. What a treat! Portion was a bit smaller than we expected, but was delicious. For a side, we ordered the brussel sprouts, which were cooked to perfection. We also ordered cocktails that were delicious. For dessert we shared a tiramisu, which was one of the best I have ever had. I would love to come back soon and highly recommend!

Great summer night date spot. The food, service and ambiance is top notch. Pet friendly. The staff treats your pup like a guest as well. What an amazing view of Manhattan.

One of the best restaurants in LIC, top 3 on Center Blvd. Beautiful venue, friendly & attentive staff. Reasonable prices. Dined on a Wednesday night, party of 3, we were seated right away, main dining area was pretty full. Food came out very quickly. We shared the goat cheese salad and Margherita pizza to start, both were great, shareable portions. For entree we shared the chicken Parmesan, table side TAGLIATELLE AL TARTUFO & Brussels sprouts, everything was delicious, the perfect amount of food for 3. Ended with the tiramisu which was the perfect ending to a great meal. The signature cocktail Maiella was very tasty, light and refreshing, they also make a good espresso martini.

This restaurant is a great spot for celebrating a special occasion. It is located right near the pepsi sign in LIC so you get a really awesome view if you sit by the windows/outside. No matter what time of year you go here you can be sure that the place will be decorated beautifully. Especially around christmas. I have been here about 4 times and each time I have had a great experience. This most recent time my husband and I took my parents out to celebrate their 40 year wedding anniversary and they had the best time. I recommend starting with a pizza. They also have an incredible caesar salad to start with. They have the best chicken parm and a great selection of pasta. My personal favorite is the cacio e pepe made right in front of you in a cheesewheel! I also find this restaurant to be affordable for all that it has to offer. Highly recommend Maiella if you find yourself hungry in Long Island City.

Go! Just go! Beautiful just to look at, but the service was a-maz-ing! I was able to get my bucket list meal - fettuccine in a cheese wheel of Parmigiano Reggiano with truffles- prepared tableside. I'm currently drooling. Hubs had cacio e pepe prepared tableside, and cuz had gluten free pasta with truffles. They prepared hers in the kitchen because the gf pasta is short, and you really need a long pasta for "the show". Our burrata appetizer with figs and prosciutto was a perfect starter, and I want more - now. The manager checked in on us multiple times without being annoying. If you want to feel taken care of in a beautiful atmosphere on the water's edge with a gorgeous view of Manhattan yards away, with delicious food, this is the place!

Came here for my bday dinner with my hubby. The hostess were very welcoming and accommodating considering I was pregnant and couldn't make my mind for inside or outside dinning. The decor of the restaurant is very cute garden feel. Our waiter Jacinto (I think is his name) was great!! Gave great recommendations . We started off with the grilled shrimp and meatball for appetizers. Followed by the short ribs, rigatoni, and Parmesan potatoes. Everything was Delicious! The potatoes were perfectly crispy on the outside. We ended the night with the lemonciello cake which was so yummy. The Lemon taste was not over powering at all. This would be definitely a place I would return

The food, the ambience, and the setting was incredible. I came here on a date night and I was treated well by the wait staff and servers. The server broke a wine glass in front of me and he apologized and asked if I was okay. The pasta tasted fresh. I would recommend dining here.

One of the finest restaurants in Long Island City. The restaurant is on the waterfront, directly behind the Pepsi cola sign in a nice modern looking building. When you walk in, you get a very classy, elegant vibe. The place is dimly lit and is perfect for a date or special occasion. I believe they host weddings and parties here. The food itself is very good. I loved my seafood pasta dish (bucatini frutti di mare)! The noodles itself was perfectly al dente, the sauce tasted amazing, and the fried calamari was a nice contrast in texture. I got to see nearby tables order the Cacio e Pepe and tagliatelle Al tartufo which they prepare tableside! It was so cool to see them mixing the cheese with the pasta in the cheese bowl. Definitely give this place a try!

Visited Maiella this summer with my husband to celebrate our anniversary. We opted for the restaurant week menu, a good deal at $45 per person for 3 courses. We shared everything, and I will say the food was absolutely delicious. The burrata was not on the restaurant week menu but we wanted to indulge a little bit and add that on. Glad we did because we gobbled it up right away! Another server offered to bring us extra bread when we finished ours which I love! However it unfortunately never came. Was I full from all the other food, yes, but it's the principle! I'm [mostly] kidding. We also needed to give a reminder that we hadn't received our pizza. The server said there was an error and that ours went to another table but that ours would come soon. Would've been nice to have a drink comped or something but I wasn't holding my breath, and, as I said, the food was delicious. The ambience in the back patio was peaceful and serene and service was very friendly. Was a little surprised by the minor slip ups because they seemed to really be on top of everything. Would absolutely return in the future for a nice dinner date night.

The food is great. The burrata with fig is interesting in a good way. The service was okay nothing special. The place is nicely decorated and it's next to the water. Interesting how they still have Christmas decorations up at the end of January.

Beautiful location and plenty of parking close by. The restaurant is beautiful and the drinks were good. The food was good, but not great. I had the prime flat iron steak and it had no flavor aside from the balsamic glaze. The burrata was very good, but everything else was just OK.

Amazing ambience! But service is extremely slow! It took about an hour for the appetizers to come out! Let me take a few steps back. Upon arrival, I arrived at my reservation time, but they directly us to the bar for a drink while they prepare our table?! That was weird, but sure, we got a drink. 30 mins later, we got seated. After ordering, an hour later with two more drinks in, the first course came. The second course came about 30 mins following. Not bad right? So desert came about 30 mins after but at this point, it was to be expected! Overall: Great atmosphere and dining experience! What I come back? Questionable! I think I'd give it one more try!

Would definitely visit again! The Cacio e Pepe was delicious and I also enjoyed the spaghetti pomodoro. The atmosphere was nice and a perfect location for a walk after dinner.

I've been wanting to come here for years and finally checked it off the list. The restaurant is stunningly decorated for the holiday season. The cocktails are delicious (and unique). I had the Maiella and loved it. We had the eggplant appetizer. The sauce was delicious, but eggplant a little overcooked. The calamari that was coming out looked awesome and that's what I think I'll try next trip. The main meals we split were the agnolotti and the truffle pasta. Both were homemade. The truffle pasta was the star in my opinion!

The restaurant was beautiful, a great place for photo ops indoors and outdoors. In the outdoor space, you get the back of the Coca-Cola sign behind you. The restaurant was packed at 8 pm, and it was perfect seating to catch the sunset behind us. The food was good. For my appetizer, I got the hamachi crudo. Good size portion with fresh hamachi. I got to try my friend's pizza and chicken parm. Everything was decent. For the main, I got the linguine with clams - lots of clams and clam meat. Very heavy flavor but is also very flavorful. The pasta was nicely al dente. The drinks were okay -- my limoncello spritz was too light.

Highly recommend the pasta dishes. Service is above and beyond. Very nice ambiance. Perfect spot for a date night or family celebration.

We had good experience before and this time we came back with a couple friends for dinner. Good service, delicious food and nice ambience. Delicious Beef Meatballs, and the Pan Seared Duck Breast was flavorful. The Rigatoni with sausage was good but a bit salty. We enjoy our dinner and will sure be back again.

Came to Maiella again. This used to be one of my favorite places to visit despite the tough parking situation in the area. The table side tagliatelle with black truffles used to be one of my favorite dishes in all of NY. Due to COVID, this table side dish was removed. It has now returned, but it has come back far inferior to its predecessor. There are only small specks of truffle as opposed to generous table side shavings of truffle. The pasta is still well executed with a nice coating of cheese, but there is barely a hint of truffle flavor. We also ordered the chicken Parmesan and a personal pizza. Both were excellent. The service on this day was subpar. We ordered our initial round of drinks, was hoping for a second round but no server came back to check on us. This was right at opening and was not too busy. Incredibly disappointed.

Not sure why people give high remark for this restaurant. They must be the local residents who are trapped in the area, and this is the only option. For people who must come here, don't expect much on service and quality of food. Call a uber or take the train back to Manhattan to treat yourself better, but if you don't have a choice, here's my recommendations: Skip the appetizer, ingredients are not fresh, taste like reheated foods from the frozen section. The shrimp was not fresh, it does not have the crunch, but they did make a good tasting sauce to compensate the cheap ingredient. The simplest calamari are also not fresh, tough and lack of taste. Their meat balls are dry and hard, the sauce was good, but a bit salty. Since the food is not fresh, skip on their oysters, too. Overall, appetizer = Applebee's with less portion. Main, just get their table side truffle pasta and rigatoni dishes, they cheated on the truffle pasta by adding a lot of truffle oil to emphasize the truffle flavor, but the 6 small thin slices of black truffle were there for decoration. Still, it's good but a bit too oily and salty, you can pair it with their overpriced cheap wines. salmon was ok, like home cook pan seared, nothing special. Branzino has no taste, just skip. I didn't notice anyone in the restaurant ordering their $180 tomahawk steak, so might not be worth it considering, there are so many Michelin star steak houses in NYC for this price range. Dessert, skip. Regular diner quality choc-cake with ice cream. Go somewhere else for better options. Service, the hostess gives me a stuck-up/attitude vibe. We had reservation at 6:30, the restaurant was fairly empty, but she made us wait by the cold windy entrance and took them over 15 minutes to seat us. Our wait staff was not professional either, never came by to check on us, couldn't find her when we needed something, it took 3 busboys and one other waiter to get to her. Appetizer took a 45 minutes to arrive, and then another 50 minutes for main course, no one checked on us in between time. I noticed our waitress was more attentive to the large group party at the adjacent nook. I guess because they are large groupand will leave a bigger tip, so they get more attention, since 20% tip is automatically included on the bill. For the same price, you could eat at any Michelin 1 star restaurants in Manhattan, even some with a view.

Came here to celebrate one of my girlfriend's bridal shower and honestly it was such an amazing experience! let me start off by thanking the staff especially a HUGE shoutout to Carlos, Billy and Ernesto. they were such gentleman making sure we had a great time the entire 3 hours. the food itself was SOO good. the shrimp that they had was to die for and it was seasoned perfectly with the right amount of sauce. the pizza was also well made and thin but still held its shape. for the main course I got the salmon which was cooked to a perfect medium and was still so juicy. lastly, the tiramisu had just the right amount of espresso powder and if I didn't have so much caffeine before I would've finished all of it. the space itself was so amazing and beautiful and we all had such an amazing time. thank you again Carlos, Billy and Ernesto for making the event such a lovely time. I can't wait to come back here for just a regular dinner service!

I visited this restaurant for restaurant week. They have a 3 course dinner for $45. I got the Margherita pizza, salmon and chocolate cake. The pizza was tasty, the salmon was cooked very well. The cauliflower veggies could've been a little more seasoned but the mushrooms brought a lot of flavor.

Love love love!!! We came to celebrate my birthday this past weekend. Ambiance is beautiful..trendy with a fun vibe. The drinks were delish- I ordered Winter vibes- highly recommend. The food was phenomenal. We ordered apps- burrata, calamari & eggplant. For the main course, I ordered Branzino. It was so good. Portions were on the smaller side but we certainly didn't starve. The manager, Eduardo was welcoming and made us feel right at home. The service was great- even though it was busy, our server checked on us a few times. Prices are comparable to restaurants in the city. Highly recommend and can't wait to return!

I loved all the interior decor and atmosphere. I'd eat here every day if I had the budget, but it's perfect for a special occasion! All the food I tried was to die for! The shrimp or Eva area appetizer comes in a cream sauce that was the most delicious thing I've tasted. I loved dipping the focaccia bread they give you into it. I wish it came with more shrimp for us to devour We tried the pork chop and the rigatoni and sausage. Both were tender and tasty. The rigatoni in particular had a rich sauce that I still think about. Being a tiramisu lover, I was interested to see Maiella's take on the iconic dessert. It was moist, the cream was fluffy, and the crunchy and sugary espresso bits on top added the perfect bite and texture to the overall dessert. THE perfect way to end the meal. The server was very nice and attentive. We didn't feel like we were waiting too long for the food. The cocktails were light and not too memorable, but the food sure leaves the best taste in your mouth and leaves you excited for your next visit to Maiella.

This restaurant is amazing. The staff is attentive and wonderful and the food is fantastic . I recommend everything but my favorite was the eggplant with the pesto and ricotta OMG one of the most delicious things I've ever eaten. The manager checked in on myself and my friends throughout our meal and was so astonished that we ate as much as we did lol. He gave us some complimentary champagne, also very delicious. The desserts were all scrumptious but my favorite was the olive oil chocolate cake.

Lovely restaurant with nice ambiance and good service. Plenty of delicious Italian dishes and more. We tried Burrata with Prosciutto and Figs , calamari, table side pasta Tagliatelle al Tartuffo and Pizza Margarita. Cheesecake for dessert. Everything was delicious and had a nice flavors.

I had read a lot of reviews about this place and thought it would be a nice place for a birthday dinner. It was well appointed but exceptionally loud. There was clubbing music playing and the general din of the cavernous room with diners made it hard for me to hear my husband and vice versa during dinner. He had also indicated on the reservation that we were there to celebrate my birthday and that was not acknowledged. That being said, the dinner was very good. I ordered the duck breast and we shared a few appetizers, including a seafood pasta dish. I think that's where this place shines --- through their homemade pastas. We did see people order the truffle pasta and enjoyed the show that the wait staff put on as they prepared the dinner tableside. There is no view of the water so it is not waterfront at all, but the menu has waterfront views. All in all, if we happened to be in the area, we would try to go for lunch to try their pasta (and hope for less ruckus) but I wouldn't necessarily come out of the way to go to Maiella again.

My new fave!! I landed at LGA from FL in the evening with some friends and went straight to Maiella (with our luggage, lol). I had to take them to LIC for the best Italian cuisine outside of Italy! The service and view of the skyline are incredible, and the food...simply AMAZING. We started with a Caesar salad, a burrata/fig dish, and a crispy eggplant stack which were all delicious. Highly recommend the Cacio E Pepe prepared tableside, and the best chicken parm I ever had. Can't wait to go back again on my next trip to NY.

It was hot as hell in here and the seating was not very comfortable. The servers were friendly, and the beers were not super cold. The charcuterie board was ordered first, and it was okay. My wife got fresh pasta, steak for me and it was so so. The best part about our meal was easily the bread! We asked for more ;) We would not come back, but maybe when it was cooler for outside seating.

Came here to meet up with old friends, wonderful selection! I don't often get a prix fixe menu, so I'm in uncharted territory here. Fortunately the staff here take good care of you here, giving ample time to review the menu and offering to answer questions--not that you'll need it; the menu is in Italian but the descriptions are accurate. While I understand picture menus detract from the upper-class quality of a restaurant, it would be cool to offer one upon request (I didn't ask). I got the salad & duck. Salad was tasty! And the duck: I haven't had duck in a while, so it was an acquired taste, but the skin reminded me of bacon, and the plate got better from there. Finishing with a chocolate dessert, I would say I was very satisfied. Two notes: while the staff are very good about refilling water glasses, I think there are instances where a pitcher of water or two makes sense; and the wine list via iPad is a jarring transition from everything else fitting a fancy-restaurant feel. Knowing that, if the reason for that is that the list constantly changes, then I totally understand why to do it that way. Thanks for a pleasant meal!

Food is amazing! Great drinks phenomenal ambience and outstanding service! Table side pasta was really good , the manager very attentive with every single table Making sure everyone was having a pleasant meal.

GORGEOUS!! What a cute date spot! Beautiful restaurant that is huge! It's amazing how many people they can accommodate. For appetizer, i got the insalata mista which was so refreshing! I got the Cappelacci which was amazing! Portions were a good size and pretty affordable. Highly recommend this spot!

Solid spot for a date or outing with family. Yummy pizza and pasta great choice for a celebration. I had no complaints. Got the salad, margherita pizza and truffle pasta and it was delicious!

My friend and I came to Maiella for dinner. Overall, the food and service were both fantastic. I had the Cappelletti Ai Funghi. Friends who know me will know that mushroom ravioli is my favorite go-to dish at Italian restaurants. However, I was pleasantly surprised by Maiella's take on the dish. Instead of a standard cream based sauce, the sauce used in their dish was more of a dressing. In fact, the sauce was akin to salad dressing. I thought this was odd, but the tart flavor of the dressing paired well with the mushroom-stuffed cappelletti.

Cute place to meet up for drinks and Italian fare in LIC. Decent food and friendly service. Parking is a pain in LIC, but still worth a stop if you happen to be in that hood. Definitely do al fresco if summertime.

Came to Maiella twice in the last few months and both dining experiences were wonderful! The restaurant is so beautiful and large that there was no concern about social distancing on a Sunday night. The lights are dim and they put some extra lighting on your table for a warm & elevated vibe. Suitable for differently sized gatherings, as I saw some bigger tables to accommodate larger parties. The entrees that stood out to me most were the duck breast and truffle mushroom pasta. The duck breast was tender and had great flavors. If you like truffle, the truffle mushroom pasta will blow you away! They also have a lot of appetizers to choose from. I've had the grilled octopus, mussels, and raw oysters - all were good. The restaurant staff are all friendly, and have extensive knowledge on the menu. I can't wait to return!
