"Suburban Montreal might not scream “fresh, quality sushi,” but this local favourite is good (and aesthetically pleasing) enough to compete with more central sushi offerings. It’s not the cheapest spot, but it’s the best sushi you’ll find without trekking into the city." - Erinn Blicher, Eater Staff

"It’s worth the trip down the 40 West to this long standing fave serving innovative sushi and immaculately plated Japanese cuisine. Their private room holds up to 20 people and the main dining room will take reservations for groups of eight." - JP Karwacki, Erinn Blicher

"The West Island has several decent sushi options, but Maiko has amassed what is likely the most significant following. Its long menu of maki and sashimi — and so much else (think filet mignon and rack of lamb) — has kept locals coming back since 2003." - Ivy Lerner-Frank, Valerie Silva

Had a fantastic meal at Maiko Sushi! The Kaki Aghe, made with imitation crab, was top-notch—crispy, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The vegetarian maki was super fresh and satisfying. We also tried another dish I can’t quite remember the name of, but it was just as delicious. Great vibe, lovely plating, and quality ingredients. Can’t wait to go back!

Google
Excellent lunch options and for the price… wow!!! Soup, salad and an entree for 30! One of our favourite sushi places. We miss it so much in Outremont!

Google
Maiko sushi offers a luxurious sushi experience with fresh, high quality ingredients and stunning presentation. The atmosphere is sophisticated yet inviting, perfect for a special night out. Their shrimps and signature rolls are a must try, and the service is impeccable.

Google
The sushi’s were amazing. Highly recommend the Khakhi-aghe specialty sushi roll, it was honestly so good. I was a bit unhappy with the first table we got, it was in a little corner so crowded and can barely move there. Your tables are almost stuck to the person beside you and just enough space for a person to slip in between. It was our anniversary and we were not expecting that. We kindly asked our server to move us and she did right away which was extremely appreciated. I think it was fair priced for the quality of the sushi and atmosphere. Would definitely go again but I’d make it clear when I call to reserve to not be sat in that little corner area.

Google
Excellent service. Very nice ambiance. It is still one of the most popular spots in the West Island. For me, it is way too expensive. I would prefer to spend the équivalent $ elsewhere.

Google
Simply the best… my favorite sushi spot in mtl. You have to take the following: 1- jardin de maiko 2- toro mousse 3- orchidée 4- all the rolls you want and you finish with Perles de maiko. Then send me your feedback :)

Xtra Pizza

Google
Absolutely disappointed! For a restaurant that represent themselves as “Fancy” and high end, did not live up to expectations. They offered us the sushi with the cheapest wooden chopsticks that even all you can restaurant don’t. The sushis were HUGE and 90% was just rice! We also got the ends of each sushi roll which was not appealing and just too big to even eat in one bite. I would definitely rather spend my money elsewhere because this place did not live up to standards. First and last time at Maiko unfortunately.

Google
Maiko Sushi is a beautiful place with a great ambiance, and I really enjoy the vibe. The menu has some good makis that stand out compared to other places, but I find the flavors a bit repetitive. While some pieces were really tasty, others didn’t hit the mark, so the overall experience felt a bit uneven. The presentation, though, is stunning—everything is plated like a work of art. In fact, I’d say the presentation is better than the taste for SOME sushi rolls (not all, of course). If you’re looking for sushi that looks amazing and tastes good, Maiko is a solid choice, BUT for the price, there are places that deliver more, in my opinion.

Yelp
Been to Maiko a few times. This time was on a Thursday around 9. They were busy but we lucked out as there was one more table next to the window. Loud and upbeat atmosphere. We started with a couple of Asahis. Light, crisp Japanese Beer. For starters, it was Sushi Pizza (unique with tasty smoked salmon), Tempura and Calamari were delicious . Foie Gras starter roll was good although I couldn't really taste the Foie Gras. For main, we ordered some rolls based on recommendation and while waiting realized that maybe we ordered too much-Kamikase, Dynamite and Poulailler were all delicious. We ended up taking some of the food home. Kitchen was closing at 9:30 so our server helped us navigate the extensive menu. He was leaving and let us know that someone else would finish the service which was a nice touch (more often this doesn't happen) Overall, solid Sushi spot with a creative twist.

Yelp
This has been a favourite sushi place for me for many years. They have an excellent assortment of rolls with lots of creativity and freshness! Definitely try Paradis, Quebec and L'enfer. For those that don't love raw fish they have an extended menu of cooked dishes as well. The ambience is great - high end Decor with great lighting, art, decor. Several different dining areas with changing vibes depending on where you sit.

Yelp
Went here on a recommendation, the recommendation came from the bartender from a pub close by. The ambiance and style is on point! It was very very busy, no tables without reservation, but plenty of room at the bar. There was a reason for that, but the food first! Ordered apps (spicy edamame and soup) that were fast and tasty! For dinner we ordered 3 rolls (tuna, salmon, shrimp) and 1 nigiri (eel). Everything came out super slow and the interval between water/drink fill was...in the 1 1/2hrs we were there only once. The rolls are spectacular, would order all three again...my nigiri never came out, even after asking and being told it's right there...We left 20mins after asking foe my roll, had to get up to cancel and request our invoice... Would go again, but maybe Thursday is just a busy night to go! Cheers and watch where you sit!

Yelp
Great food and service. Fresh and well prepared and presented sushi. Good for two people or with a group

Debbie G.

Yelp
One of my favorite sushi spots that never disappoints. They are the cause of their own success and really give it their all. Taste and presentation is always a five star even when taking-out. Some of my favorite things to order: Maiko salad, paradis sushi and kamikaze. The only thing I really miss is the proximity as they used to be on Bernard street and that's how I discovered them. Unfortunately, they closed down that location and are only in the West Island. Still grateful they are still around. If you haven't been, check them out and order ahead of time to ensure you have the chance to explore the yumminess they have to offer.

Richard L.

Yelp
Maiko Sushi is our place to go for special occasions. It's going to cost a bit more than some other sushi restaurants but well worth it when you want to celebrate that something special. Since we were 4, we decided to order the L'éventail de Maiko. We also ordered numerous appetizers as well as additional sushi dishes as what can we say, we love diversity. Everything was spot on, super fresh and delicious. The ambiance is perfect with dimmed lights and techno music playing all night long. All in all a fantastic experience. 4.5 stars out of 5.

Yelp
Sushi on hot summer days is always a great choice. I' m never deceived with Maiko Sushi. Here are scallops with sea ursin sauce ,topped with roe fish eggs. The sauce was so good !!! i always come back as they come up with new dishes on the menu. the decor is elegant, calm , perfect for a date. when i come here i like to take all their entre and specialities. love it. i just didn't want to waist on carbs. Great place in the westisland . follow me on www.instagram.com/vivigodivah_mtl

Yelp
This place is as good as it gets for sushi. I've previously visited the Outremont location for dinner (which I heard closed) and that was an expensive yet delicious experience. This time, I visited the West Island location for lunch. They have great lunch specials, that comes with a soup, salad and dessert. I got the chef's sushi special (12 pieces of absolutely delicious sushis). The only thing is that the pieces are cut too big for me but I heard you can request that they cut them smaller. The Maiko salad is excellent and the tiny scoop of vanilla ice cream served at the end made for an excellent meal. For $35 (taxes & tips included), I thought it was worth the price. The restaurant itself is very nice and the the service is great. Will be returning.

Yelp
I was in Montreal west, feeling Sushi and always knew of this place. I always thought it was just your regular sushi joint since it was in a plaza so didn't think much of it. After I read through the menu I found I dish worthy as an offering to God. It was called "les perles de maiko" and it combined torched salmon sushi, foie gras, and truffled mayo. A little on the pricey side but I got to split the bill so we also got the the "sushi and sashimi" lunch special and shared both worlds. The lunch special came with miso soup that tasted like all miso soup (I swear they all taste the same) and a Japanese salad that had crispy yam bits that made the salad for me. All sashimi and sushi were on point and after a bite of the "les perles".... oh my GAWD worth it.

Jamie M.

Yelp
Hands down the best sushi option in the West Island and easily top 10 in Montreal. Don't let the strip mall location fool you... everything about Maiko is A-1. The interior decor is a trendy downtown vibe. The servers are attentive and professional. And the food is always super fresh, presented as if it was art and always delicious. The rolls are a perfect size, the rice is not too sticky and the portions are good. I enjoy the sashimi mainly but in the rolls mY favs are the kamikaze, bonsai and ended which is a deep fried treat. In the sashimi you have to try the Kaimin Tai which I believe is red snapper that they kill by acupuncture.... so tender, practically melts in your mouth. Although a little on the pricier side, it is well worth it if you are looking for high quality, fresh sushi!

Yvette G.

Yelp
I called to order take out from here. The person on the phone took my order fairly quickly and I got everything as I ordered. When I arrived, staff was friendly and helpful. I only ordered maki rolls and all were delicious! I got the Spicy Salmon, Kamikase, Una Kuy, Maiko, Bonsai, and the Spider. I would take the exact same order next time. However, I wish they served more than 4 pieces per sushi order.

Firass Z.

Yelp
This place is the best place is the Montreal area. The sushi is world class and the steak is amazing. The dish is prepared with creativity and flavor in mind.

Yelp
Tonight felt like I was re experiencing maiko all over again! .. for some reason I forgot about this place ever since the location on bernard street closed.. (that's how long it's been). So my friend and I were looking for somewhere near and something yummy! And maiko popped up! And I'm so glad it did! It was seriously so yummy everything ( almost) we took. Unfortunately I wasn't able to take all the pictures because we really enjoyed it quickly , one meal after the next! We had the maiko scallops - absolutely wow! The sushi pizza - it lacked so much attitude and sass. Honestly nothing special at all! The tuna - INSANE. Lobster roll- out of this world ,I just wish the peices were a normal size to fit in a normal humans mouth so you can actually enjoy the delicious flavors that's combined in that roll rather then take a bite and have it fall apart. 911 roll - perfection. And we took another roll that I completely forgot the name it had blueberry on top as a decor - seriously that was delish and because of that roll I would definitely go back because it's the type of roll you crave.. It was a nice visit , the company definitely makes a difference and the service is what puts the chery on top. Everyone is so nice and clean and polite and most importantly honest! We love to enjoy some gin cocktails but the waiter was so dead honest about just sticking to basics because he told us that the cocktails really aren't the best.. how often do you get that at a restaurant??? For me that was love at first sight - honesty. So we took the classic gin tonic which was very yummy.

Judy T.

Yelp
Our besties took us here and introduced us to Maiko every time we visit them. foods here is absolutely exquisite! Excellent customer service, Everything we ordered was so delicious and beautiful decorations. Each dish has their own special flavor and flowers decorations. Love their steak, so tender, juicy, medium rare as requested, seared to perfection, melted in your mouth.

Nabila O.

Yelp
Yummy great food sushis or any thing else Really good. I love their dragon rolls and cran salad

John S.

Yelp
Where to start! This is hands down the most overated place ive ever been in the 15 countries ive visited! The place did not meet the hype at all! If you want to stay hungry and wait hours for your food this is the place to go! Honestly I would not take my dog here! Update* ginger was very good!!

Georges C.

Yelp
Wow! I truly didn't believe we had this good sushi in the West Island. I had a fantastic meal with my wife and another couple. Incredible sushi, the photos don't do it justice. We also had a rib steak to share which was surprisingly delicious considering it's not a steakhouse. The tempura mushroom fries with the truffle mayo are to die for. Also tried a few specialties like the lobster sushi and a couple others, all delicious. Had multiple drinks, couple bottles of sake and lots of food for just under 300$, for the 4 of us, very fair. This one is solid, stop but without any hesitation!

Jessica L.

Yelp
Excellent food, fish is always fresh! Amazing service. Great ambiance but music seems to be a little bit loud! Love their specialties! They are always packed so make sure you call and reserve in advanced! Thank you to Ty & Pat, the best waiters; Thuy, Chef Maiko & all of her team!

Faten R.

Yelp
Very good sushi restaurant, fish is fresh and tasty, presentation is artful and elegant.

Marc M.

Yelp
Nice deco. Friendly staff. We were 3 on a Tue. We had no reservations. Place filled up quickly. This is a premium sushi place with matching pricing. Excellent presentation and quick prep. They have an excellent wine selection. Plenty of parking in the mall. Quite popular with the locals. Reserve on the weekends. It's good very good but a little pricey for me.

Andre L.

Yelp
Maiko Sushi used to be one of our favourite spots to have modern sushi. The fish was fresh, the presentation inspired, the service between good and excellent, the ambiance welcoming, the servings perfectly sized. But now, starting with an indifferent to obnoxious reception, continuing with an average to dispirited service, accompanied by an unenthusiastic presentation and just so-so quality of ingredients, we wonder why still so many people make this place crowded like a bus station on the weekends. Perhaps it is the lack of competition on the West Island!? We won't be adding to the crowd anytime soon anymore, so feel free to take our table for 4 or 6! We'd rather drive into Montréal and give our business to Ichigo Ichie or, if we're in the Toronto area, to Yuzu No Hana.

Austin S.

Yelp
Hands down the best sushi in the West Island, ask anyone that lives there. Make sure to get the Kaki-Aghe!! Make a reservation ahead of time!

Aileen L.

Yelp
ATMOSPHERE: The restaurant has a very nice modern interior. Everything is clean and the ambiance is very classy. FOOD: The quality is excellent. All the plates are nicely displayed as well. The sushi is fresh and delicious. I would personally recommend the soft shell crab if you don't mind eating crustacean shells (although you barely notice it). It's delicious! Especially with the sauce it comes with. Their tempura is fantastic as well. It doesn't feel heavy with grease and makes the perfect light appetizer. PRICE: This is definitely on the expensive side. Don't be surprised when your bill comes! However, it's good for date nights or special occasions. SERVICE: Service is very good. They provide you with a warm wet napkin before your meal to ensure hygiene which is nice. The staff is super welcoming.

Donna G.

Yelp
The sushi was delicious, fresh and creative. We shared one dish of popcorn shrimp as a starter instead of tempura shrimp. The greens and portion was ideal for our family of five. The very best bite was our second dish, L'oeil Magique . I had ordered it thinking it was the Dragon Eye roll, but was so pleasantly surprised. Unfortunately, Friday nights are very busy, we were seated by the door so my girls were cold. The service was great, speedy and courteous. Will definitely be back for the Magic Eye and to try their lunch menu.

Bowman W.

Yelp
Love this place. Food is amazing. I always end up getting the 'Maiko' dinner which includes: Dashi miso soup Maïko salad Sushi or sashimi Tempura shrimps Sirloin steak teriyaki Steamed rice Dessert Japanese Green Tea Can't wait to go back. Granted their menu is a little on the pricey side but so worth it.

Mireille S.

Yelp
Sooo loud. When I remember how loud the place is rather than its food; that's not good. I've had it a long time ago for pick up and it was very nice sushi. However I didn't realize how loud it gets on a Friday night. I wasn't on a romantic date ; I was there with my besties and we wanted to catch up... We couldn't even hear each other! We couldn't wait to get our bills and go for dessert at nearby rockaberry...

Andrea S.

Yelp
This used to be one of my favourite sushi restaurants, but after last night's dinner I am totally turned off returning. We arrived for a 7:15 reservation about 5 mins early and were seated. We did not even see a waiter for 20 mins. He then arrived and right away said "ok what can I get you?". No "hello", straight to the order. We explained we were hungry and asked for a speciality roll first as an appetizer and ordered edamame to start. The edamame was over cooked, but we ate it anyway as we were super hungry. The first sushi roll arrived with another dish at the same time 1 hour and 10 mins after we ordered it. In the meantime they brought over our plates, which both had food stuck to them from the dishwasher. I asked for new plates and my second one had a 1/4 inch chip in it. Our waiter huffed and scoffed when I asked for a second replacement. I commented to the waiter that it was a very long wait for our appetizer and we muttered about it being busy and said "what do you want me to do, it's a busy night". Our first two rolls were tasty, but the plates were messy and not quite as good as they usually are. The sushi arrived and it was horrible. The rolls were sloppy and about 50% barely had any fish in them. They were very uneven with some huge rolls overflowing with ingredients and some minuscule. I showed this to the waiter who then argued with me loudly about how this is how it comes out and how they use a scoop of fish per roll and it's not the chef's fault if it's uneven. That he would not give us more fish as it is all measured. I explained that I only wanted a properly rolled maki, and was not looking for bonus fish. He looked at the rolls and finally conceded with great hesitation to replace two of them. There were three pieces of maki that were empty, and didn't contain any fish at all. So, the waiting continued. When we finally got the replacement rolls, they were tossed on the table without a word and he walked off. No checking back. Nothing more than a question about dessert and the bill. The waiter was rude and cold and not paying attention to us, or really to any table in his section. We paid, reluctantly left a tip, and started to leave. I asked the hostess to speak to the manager before we left. She muttered something about it being too busy. I called her on this and said "your manager won't see customers?" She said that was true. I explained the wait, the poor service and the snarky comments and combatative nature of the waiter. She then looked over to where our table was and said that our waiter was the manager! And that really there was nothing more that could be done. They were not interested in hearing from guests at all. I can excuse bad service and even subpar food from time to time, but when a restaurant doesn't apologize, or even take 5 mins to hear a customer's comments, this is inexcusable. Frankly they don't deserve future business with this attitude.

Didier H.

Yelp
The restaurant has been offering great sushi and modern Japanese platers for several years now. For seafood lovers, I will definitely recommend the Maiko Scallops and the Volcano (imitation crab / tobiko).

Richard G.

Yelp
This restaurant really needs to get their act to lightened. The service is absolutely atrocious. It took 20 minutes just to get glasses of water on the table. The waitress was beyond rude and unhelpful. Whenever we asked questions about the menu she did not know what she was talking about. It took forever for the food to come the soups came cold and a bunch of things with main courses were messed up. The restaurant gave us the smallest portion of wasabi and ginger and had the nerve to charge us for them. I have eaten in literally 100s of sushi restaurants in several continents and I have never once before been charged for wasabi and ginger before. When we confronted the waitress, she said we should have read the menu more carefully! Do not go to this restaurant the service and the nerve this restaurant has to charge for certain items makes the restaurant a place you must avoid!

Robert F.

Yelp
This was the first time that is was here. I really enjoyed the decor but it was a bit loud as it was very busy. Saying that, the sushi was amazing, the service was great also. I will definitely go back again to this restaurant for their sushi.

David S.

Yelp
The food is good but the staff is horrible I wouldn't spend a cent there anymore ever again

Laura O.

Yelp
First off we were calling to make an order to pick up, phones where disconnected for a whole hour we had no luck. So we decided to order online, the website said our order would take 75 min (which I find a lot to begin with) we then when to pick it up and they didn't "find" our order so there we had to wait 30 extra min for our food. We get home to eat it and they didn't even got our order right. I'm allergic to spicy food and asked for no spicy mayo on the paradise roll and voila it had the spicy mayo and it gave me a swollen mouth and lips all night and couldn't finish eating what I paid for and waited 2 hours and 45 min. Terrible service!

Joanne L.

Yelp
While the food and decor were great, it definitely wasn't worth the price. Staff was not too friendly or helpful. There are better places for Japanese fusion in Montreal

Mikhail S.

Yelp
Went for lunch with a few colleagues who had never been and the all loved the food. The service is great and fast.

Churo Z.

Yelp
Beautiful and delicious pieces , best sushi in the West-island ! The Service and decor are top notch!

Eliane M.

Yelp
Their sushis are amazing. It's good for a dinner with friends or on a date. They offer good value meal with table d'hôtes. My favourite things on the menu are the sushis and the salmon teriyaki

Sabah M.

Yelp
Good place to relax , good ambience and good food but very pricey, it's a good place to go on a date night. My favourite dish is the Makio combo. Love the starting salad.

Rob J.

Yelp
Preface: I only eat sushi nigiri and sashimi and consider myself a sushi enthusiast (it is my favorite food). This was my third time eating at this restaurant. The first two times were great, and all of a sudden everything went to hell in a hand basket. Let me summarize: 1) I had to ask 3 times to get a miso soup (not a big deal on its own) 2) food took over 45 minutes to come out from the point of us placing the order (apparently because the unagi needed to be cooked...hey, next time bring everything else out first and then the unagi later like every other sushi place does. Maybe that way our sushi won't be room temperature and taste off.) 3) the maguro (tuna) sushi tasted old and overly fishy to the point where my coworker, who loves tuna, had to spit it out into his napkin. I unfortunately swallowed my piece of tuna and now I'm feeling ill writing this review. 4) our waiter did not remove the tuna from our bill even though it cost $7 and our entire bill was $218. He claimed he spoke with his Mgmt and they refused to remove it from the bill. I'm pretty sure that is a lie as almost any manager knows you SHOULD remove something off the bill if someone has to literally spit out into their napkin because it tastes disgusting. What makes me ultimately write this review is that Maiko did not care about whether we enjoyed our meals and would ever come back. It was the 3rd time I had eaten there in a month, and I was a huge fan. But instead here I am feeling nauseous in bed from that ****ing tuna, writing my first ever negative review. Eat there with caution--it will either be great or you will literally leave angry and feeling ill.

Pourio L.

Yelp
Holy shit this place is amazing. I went here with a few of my cousins and one of their girlfriends and man, we ordered a ton of food. We must've ordered at least 10 different dishes and between the 4 of us, we tore it up. This is a pretty classy modern spot so make sure you have enough money in the bank before you head on down here to grab an intimate dinner with your significant other or to get late night drinks. I don't know where to start. The food, drinks, atmosphere, service, everything was awesome. I can't rave enough about this place. I'd go to Montréal just to eat here again. The food come out in smaller portions so don't go expecting to order one dish be be satisfied. They come out artfully crafted and it's plated with much care and consideration. I felt like a food judge at a fancy restaurant. From what I understand per my cousin who took us here, it gets really booked up so make sure you have reservations. And the night we went it was a random weekday night and it was already super crowded and it didn't let up even past closing time. Service was great. The waiters and waitresses were super attentive and helpful with the menu and if they're not busy and if you're willing, they'll chat you up good. Only thing is the location. It's in a strip mall so you wouldn't think of a place like this would be in this type of location, but it's there. Btw, please don't be that couple of girlfriends that just order wine and appetizer then sit there for hours on end bitching about men, work, etc. because the tables are close and we could hear everything. Parking: Big lot Price: 20+ per person Wait: Make reservations

Marc M.

Yelp
There are four different Asian restaurants in this same strip center - one of them is another sushi restaurant behind this one. I think this might be one of several locations - I am not sure because I do not live in Montreal. I work for a company who is headquartered in the area. This place was fairly busy for a Tuesday night in the suburbs. Decor was nice and service was excellent. They refilled my water often and quickly accommodated our requests for more soy sauce and even what the weather was supposed to be for the next day. What wasn't that good was the food. I ate with two co-workers. I split the $60 "sushi pour deux" with one of them and the other guy had a $27 sushi plate. The $27 was supposed to yield 10 pieces; the $60 was supposed to be for 32 pieces. I think the chef can't count, because we definitely didn't get 3x more than our coworker. In addition, the assortment wasn't that spectacular: tuna and salmon sashimi, yellow-tail sushi and the rest of it was rolls. The rolls were a lot of rice and nothing too memorable. We had ice cream/sorbet dessert and it was the best part of the meal. Balls of frozen Lychee, Mango and Raspberry artfully displayed.

Claudiu A.

Yelp
Best sushi. Impeccable service. Good price for quality. Try kagiyagi sushi, Maiko salad with the incredible dressing, and of course hot sake. I will recommend over a lot of restaurants. I heard that they have small issues with take outs, but is ok.

Brandon B.

Yelp
Don't be confused -- there are two Maiko Sushi restaurants on the Island of Montreal. This one is in the West Island, and the other is in Outremont. This Maiko is the one I frequent regularly, so I'll review this one. If you're a sushi connoisseur and are looking for a large variety of the freshest sushi in Montreal, this restaurant is superb! They have an extensive menu of all the classic sushi and sashimi options, as well as some more original and unique concepts. They also have a non-sushi Japanese menu, for those who don't like the idea of raw fish. Their chicken and steak teriyakis are quite delicious. The ambience is very nice, and the staff is very friendly and accommodating. A little bit on the pricier side -- I sometimes end up spending $80 - $100 just on myself (which includes a couple of vodkas on the rocks); but I am guilty of over-ordering because I love to have a large selection. Better to go in a group of 3 or 4 and order rolls to share, or just try to limit yourself to 15-20 pieces, not 30-40 like me!

Doug C.

Yelp
I like this place. Younger crowd, cool atmosphere, has a wall waterfall. Good food and mikes drinks.

Eve M.

Yelp
A hidden gem in the west. I was really surprised, I've always been convinced that to find the best sushi you had to be downtown. Boy was I wrong, I had a last minute craving for sushi so my husband and I decided to try this place. It was absolutely delish. We ordered 4 rolls from the menu then asked the chef to surprise us with two. Super fresh and literally a party in your mouth. 10000% going back and giving the chef complete choice of my next meal.

Orly R.

Yelp
I have been to this Maiko a couple of times, but I normally go to the one on Bernard. Maiko definitely makes the best sushi in town. I love the service, the food and the atmosphere. It's always fresh and I never had any complaints.

Yelp
Very good experience. Ambiance is lovely, clean and welcoming. The sushi was delicious, fresh and good presentation. It is on the expensive side but overall we were not disappointed.

Yelp
Had to wait an hour and fifteen minutes to get our sushi. I kid you not! The waiter apologized profusely and the sushi, when at long last it came it was delicious. Still, that long a wait is unacceptable.

Yelp
This place was a disaster. 2 hours. No food. When we asked the waiter. He was totally uninterested in serving us. All the tables around us got food. If you think about coming here, think again. We should have just Uber eats Into the restaurant. Would have been faster.

Yelp
Maiko Sushi is my favourite sushi place in the west-island hands down! The atmosphere is lovely and modern. The sushi is super delicious and fresh. I love the new sushi additions to the menu. Keep up the delicious job!

Yelp
My favourite sushi in the West Island. Skip on all your can eat and come here instead. You pay a little more but the quality does not compare. Service is terrific and come here for many family birthdays. Perfect for special occasions or a delicious night out for dinner.
