Main Street Deli, West Jefferson, Ohio

Awesome food, awesome staff. I wish I hadn't waited so long to try Main Street Deli out, and FWIW, if you're a PA native you can find good sweet Lebanon bologna here. Seltzers is an excellent brand. Now I just need them to serve longhorn cheddar ( boar's head sucks btb, I'm happy to see most of the products be from Walnut Creek ).

My-o-my!!! DON’T miss this deli! I had the most delicious pastrami sandwich! It was made right there, more than filled me up and was reasonably priced! I highly recommend this place!!

I ordered from this deli based on a recommendation from a friend, and it was such a good experience that it has compelled me to write my first ever (i think?) review. i ordered two grilled ham and cheese sandwiches, with an assortment of sides to try, as well as a snack size bag of pretzels. i received a call from an employee saying that they were out of the pretzels i ordered, so I said to feel free to substitute anything for it because i’m not picky. she suggested dots pretzels, which i went for. little did i know, this incredibly kind woman replaced my snack size bag of pretzels with a full, resealable size bag of pretzels free of charge. not only that, but the woman who called me was so incredibly pleasant to speak with! i was already very impressed with the customer service, and then i tried the food. it was genuinely the most delicious deli food i’ve ever had. the proportions of meat and cheese on my sandwich were generous and perfect, and it tasted so fresh and high quality, and for such an affordable price. i’ve never even been here in person since my first time trying was today via grubhub, but i still HIGHLY recommend visiting and supporting this business.

This place was awesome. The two ladies that helped me and made the sandwich, they were great and had a good personality as well. Definitely worth stopping by if you're in the area

A lot of places use Deli in the name of their deli/restaurant and really miss It. Main Street DELI hit the nail on the head here. Fresh bread, hand carved meats, no scales, killer flavors and the sandwiches are made with love; not to mention they’re huge sandwiches!

Ok, this one is one I just had to review. Love this place! If you're going to be in West Jeff, stop by! Great food, great staff, and a great selection of deli products to take with you. Get the Carolina Reaper Cheddar...you wont regret it! They also make a killer Cuban and an incredible Chicken Salad Sandwich. Is 5 stars all I can give this place?!

Delicious food and fast efficient service. Great place! We got the Turkey Club and The Classic Ham and cheese.

I heard about this place from people in Facebook groups and I absolutely loved it. We started out with Italian subs. My wife got it cold and I got mine toasted. Both were just incredible and beyond delicious. Great place to check out if you haven't. It's definitely worth checking out. Wonderful staff and very a good variety of snacks, too.

Main Street Deli is amazing and I've never had a bad thing from here. I have ordered many things such as the Turkey Trot, the Italian sub, the Cubano, and the Sarge "Dagwood" - all are so wonderful and made with so much TLC. Also do not sleep on their sides! The maple bacon potato salad is a chef's kiss, as well as the Italian pasta. Plus any flavor of their mousse cups are great too. The staff is delightful and helpful with any questions or needs.

Oh yea Main Street Deli is the best! Love them so much! The food was soooo great! Reuben is the best! I love everything from Main Street Deli. People are so nice and friendly. You can sit on the tables next to the window, or sometimes I just eat in my car. If I'm in West Jefferson area I'll definitely go to Deli!

This may be a 5 star establishment, idk yet. Only my second time there but they have so much goodness I cannot slow myself to experience for health reasons. Like cinnamon rolls, pumpkin rolls along with mint frost brownies or somethin like that. All looks soooo good n fattening. First time was the Reuben... incredible! This time I tried the Italian which was equally mind blowing. This place is an endless pleasure palace for for food ! If you're in the area do not go to fast food garbage places. Call ahead or go there and wait as you browse all the other goodness!

Such a tiny, hidden gem. You can buy all kinds of deli meats and cheeses, many from nearby Amish communities here, along with several housemade pasta & potato salad options, plus prepared sauces, mustards, snacks, soft drinks, desserts, etc. But, in my opinion, the sandwiches are the reason this place gets a very easy 5-star rating; specifically: one of the best Cuban sandwiches I've ever had. The pork* is so succulent, and perfectly seasoned. And the sandwich is prepared perfectly. The one pictured here was ordered with extra meat, but when ordered the standard menu way they are still pretty loaded. (*Note: The Cuban is made with pulled pork, rather than more traditional, larger pieces of roasted pork. Honestly, though, this is what makes the sandwich so good.) Also attached is a picture of The Devil's Dip (without lettuce) from a previous visit. Stuff is spread out among several displays and coolers, so make sure to look all around or you might miss something special. There's also a small seating area, in case you want to eat there, but their sandwiches travel very well.

They let me add a little coleslaw to the sauerkraut for my Ruben. This one was thick ... and made a quick. They have a nice variety of meats and cheeses you can take home. As well as other salads in small medium and large containers. Great price for a high value meal if you're anywhere close!

Busy busy lunch counter deli! Found on an outing worth the stop. Looks family owned. Do Not stop at the Es-way up the street! Come here. Worth it. Hubby and I split a Turkey trot! It was huge. Son got a kids sub and honestly could make two meals out of it. Wow! Well done!

This place is absolutely amazing! Went in for lunch and got an Ox Sandwich, the sandwich was absolutely amazing! They do not skimp on the meat, and the bread was soft and moist. They also have this amazing cheesecake cone. It's cheesecake filling in a Carmel waffle cone and it is to die for! The owner was there and greeted me with a smile, super friendly, will definitely be returning!

The best rueban!!! Fresh cut meats and cheese's. Macaroni salad was very fresh. They toasted the bread too. The parking is small bit very glad I found this place. Will be my goto lunch spot everytime that I'm in town.

Best hidden gem in west Jefferson, This place has some of the best sandwiches around Devils dip is great. All these people that drive all the way to Waldo for a fried bologna sandwich have no idea that the best one is in west Jefferson ohio

Today I ordered 3 Turkey, Bacon, Club sandwiches. I was greeted upon entering the front door. The lady that took my order was very friendly. I had reviewed the menu online prior to my arrival, therefore, I knew what I wanted to order. I also ordered 4 chocolate chip cookie cream cheese sandwiches for dessert. My wait was minimal considering that the bacon needed to be cooked. It was crisp like I like it to be. The bread was toasted and the sandwich had 3 slices on it. There was more turkey and bacon on it than I expected. There was shredded lettuce and mayonnaise also. It was so tall that I could barely get my mouth around it. My first bite was Devine! My second, third and every bite afterwards was out of this world! I highly recommend this sandwich! The chocolate chip cookie cream cheese sandwiches were for my daughter, son-in-law and grandchildren. They LOVE them! I definitely will return and get the same sandwich! The staff were friendly and treated me like family. Worth the drive gif such good food and great service.

A solid deli here in our little town of west Jefferson. It's a breath of fresh air considering there are a handful of pizza shops and a McDonald's. They use high quality meats and cheeses, and have a bit of variety in menu options. I love the pickled eggs, too.

Best subs on the planet! This place is for real!! This was my first visit, and I already know that I will be a regular.

Sandwich was awesome with plenty of meat and the maple potato salad was so tasty! Delivery was early to boot!

Friendly service and great quality! Sandwiches are piled high with quality meat, cheese, and toppings. My only regret is not visiting sooner and I certainly plan on coming again very soon! I had the "Ox Roast" Sandwich. The roast beef was high quality and I really liked the horseradish cheese and mayo! Keep up the great work!

Awesome meat and cheese selection! Staff is awesome and everything is fresh! I usually go and get my lunch meat for work and pick up lunch while I'm there. My favorite is the odd the bone ham and marble cheese. I always get the chicken caesar wrap while I'm in there aswell!

A little pricey but great subs and friendly staff. The hours are a little off too so make sure you check that they will be open.

If you get a chance, dont skip on this place, foods great and employees are super nice, prices are very affordable here to. Alot of options to choose from to.

Love the new deli in West jeff. Awesome selection of meats and cheeses, they even have a variety of cheeses for you spicy lovers as well. The specialty Sandwiches are ridiculous. Huge is an understatement, completely worth every penny. Owners are extremely friendly and informative, good people. Sometimes there's a bit of a wait but easily forgiven when they have such great product. Really glad to have a place like this in West Jefferson.

Noticed that this place had opened the other day when driving by. Since it was lunchtime when we drove past today, we stopped to grab some sandwiches. I had The Roughrider (in honor of the local high school team) with pastrami, sauerkraut, baby Swiss and Thousand Island and my husband had the Italian sub (Ham, Pepperoni, Salami,Capicola, Provolone, etc. Both were extremely tasty and HUGE. Bread was good and fresh. Only knock was that service was a bit slow and and there weren't that many people there. But, the quality was definitely there.

Great sandwiches and good prices on deli meats and cheeses. People were very friendly. I will be going there for all my deli shopping.
