20 Spots to Get an Excellent Cocktail in the Bay Area This Summer | Eater

"With a greenery-filled patio and a recently expanded, generously-sized parklet, this farm-to-table bar and restaurant is one of Walnut Creek’s best destinations for an outdoor hang. Wood-fired pizzas share the menu with seasonal entrees, while the sophisticated cocktail list includes standouts like Not Your Momma’s Sweet Tea, a nuanced mix of lemon, black tea and Grey Goose Essences White Peach & Rosemary. Come for the cocktails, stay for the live music — it’s a gorgeous setting to appreciate the outdoors any time of day." - Vox Creative

The food and atmosphere were great! I couldn’t stop raving about the Mary’s Fried Chicken and French Toast Benedict. It was a perfect blend of spicy, savory, and sweet. Definitely a 10/10; can’t wait to go back to enjoy another!

I’ve enjoyed breakfast at Main Street Kitchen & Bar several times now, and it has easily become a favorite spot for breakfast on a weekend morning in Walnut Creek. The Fra’Mani Ham Chilaquiles and Old Fashioned Potato Hash are both really good, you can’t go wrong with either dish. The food seems fresh, and aways satisfying. The coffee is fresh and on the strong side. I recommend this spot for anyone looking for a great breakfast! I will have to try this place out for dinner some time soon.

Google
Great food. Be careful when ordering appetizers, they are meant to share and are good and will definitely fill you up before the main meal. We had the fries and carrots…both great but a ton of fries :-). We had the bolognese and the chicken dish and both were really good. I probably could have used a little more quantity on the bolognese side but it was super tasty.

This place was buzzing so decided to give it a try. They did not have indoor seating because they were full so we sat outside. The service was a little slow. It took a long time for him to come and take the order. I guess he was the only one who was serving outdoors. I tried the lamb chops, they were dry to the bone and had a big piece of cabbage or something under it. Did not enjoy that dish at all. It was chewy hard not to my liking at all. The fish and chip had more chips and a big batter of lump with barely any fish in it. The kids pasta was not nice. It had an after taste which the kids didn’t eat. The drink was served in a tiny glass and was too sweet to my taste Nothing special about this place nor did I enjoy anything. It was just blah !! Parking is all metered. Very difficult to find too.

My friend and I walked past today and saw that it was lively and the customers looked happy. We decided to have a late lunch here and we were so glad we did. The owner came around to talk to the customers. He was so friendly and even comped us fried green tomatoes. I ordered the eggplant pizza, my friend ordered the fish tacos, and our kids ordered pasta and chicken strips. Everything was so fresh and delicious. Even the kids chicken strips were seasoned well and amazing. We loved everything and will be back!

Came here during New Year’s Eve. The food was delicious and we had a great time. Our waiter kept checking on us and making sure our heater was working. And recommended delicious deserts to us.

Google
I recently tried this Californian restaurant, and overall, it was a great experience. The Wagyu beef was cooked to perfection—absolutely top-notch. The chicken was surprisingly simple but incredibly delicious, especially with the flavorful sauce it came with. The burrata appetizer was also a nice touch, fresh and creamy. However, the Watermelon Sugar cocktail was a bit of a letdown—it didn't taste like fresh watermelon, more like licorice, which I didn’t particularly enjoy. On the bright side, the burger was massive and definitely worth trying! A solid spot for a variety of dishes, with a few minor tweaks needed on the drinks.

Google
This charming restaurant has mastered the art of blending warm hospitality, creative cuisine, and a cozy atmosphere, making every visit a true delight. From the moment we walked in, the friendly staff made us feel like regulars, greeting us with genuine smiles and attentive service. Our server was knowledgeable and enthusiastic, guiding us through the menu with expert recommendations. Main Street Kitchen & Bar has won me over with its warm ambiance, top-notch service, and mouthwatering cuisine. Whether you're a foodie, a local, or just visiting, this hidden gem is a must-visit destination.

Yelp
Last time I was here was with the ladies in my family. This time, we came in before with some of my other family before we headed out to the airport. I loooove this spot for brunch! My sister made a reservation and we were seated as soon as we arrived. There's a parking garage nearby for easy parking. I ordered the espresso martini and loved it! It was so creamy and delicious! To start, my brother in law ordered some guac and salsa for the table and their giant fries! The fries came with a yummy aioli sauce I really liked. The guac was good, too, and the chips are definitely homemade. At first when we were seated, I think there might have been a little confusion as to who our server was, but when we asked a server passing by, he ended up taking up our table and did a great job! He was wonderful. To eat, I ordered this delicious summer pasta they had. It came with arugula on top! it was soooo refreshing and light. Honestly a great lunch item to get because it wasn't too heavy at all. The flavors were perfection! I have literally been dreaming about this pasta ever since I had it haha. Highly recommend this spot for a date or catching up with friends and family.

Yelp
One of my favorite brunch spots. It's always buzzing and has a nice vibe. You can either dine inside, which is a large space with high ceilings, or outside and people watch. I always get the avocado toast which is a side menu item so it's easy to miss. For a side, you receive two decent sized pieces of toast with avocado slices, arugula, and radish slices as garnish. It's filling and delicious. The bottomless mimosa is a fun brunch addition and you can choose orange, pineapple, or grapefruit juice. It's reasonably priced. I have not tried their banana bread but apparently it's popular. It was sold out the last few times I asked for it. This is a fun place to have brunch, either with a group, another person, or by yourself. I enjoy doing that sometimes and I bring a book. It's a great place to enjoy a leisurely lunch. I have found the service to always be attentive and warm. Finally, if you are a latte fan, they make a great lavender latte!

Yelp
While previous brunch experiences at this restaurant were good, the same cannot be said of my recent lunch experience. On Sunday, June 01st, my guest & I stopped in for a late lunch. Upon arriving, we were seated & waited AT LEAST 20 minutes for service before I finally approached the hostess stand & requested that someone take our order. The server came over, apologized, & stated she didn't know we were seated there. I chose not to argue the point as I'd previously made eye contact with her & seen her look at us more than once while we were waiting. Normally, this would be the point at which I should've known to leave, but having had nice brunch experiences in the last, I let it slide. The server took our order (we both opted for the chicken salad sandwich) & I asked clarifying questions about the dish. The server asked if we wanted fries; she did NOT ask if we wanted to add/upcharge/purchase fries. Given that sandwiches generally come with a salad or fries, combined with the fact that I'd asked clarifying questions, neither my guest nor I expected the $6/order charge for said fries. The chicken salad sandwich had one tiny piece of chicken; the rest was capers, potato, filler, and what I can only imagine was an entire bottle of mustard. The server returned only once & found both of us with the top bun removed, digging through the contents for chicken or something edible, but she never bothered to ask if anything was wrong; rather quickly scurried away & disappeared. We never saw her again. After waiting endlessly at our table, I finally had to approach the hostess stand AGAIN, requesting someone to bring our bill so we could leave. It seemed clear from the lack of food we'd eaten how horrible the food was. Add to that the terrible service & it seemed a bit offensive to pay an exorbitant amount for lunch. To add insult to injury, within an hour of getting home, i found that what I did eat had made me violently ill. I guess I should be thankful that the food was inedible because if I'd eaten more, I can only imagine I'd have gotten even sicker. As a side note, I didn't appreciate seeing the bartender wash her hands & then AFTERWARDS, take her bare hands to push down the bathroom trash before returning to work. Garbage is DIRTY ... if you want to push down the trash bin, please re-wash your hands. I have to wonder if this sort of behavior is part of what led to me getting ill?!?? I can guarantee you that I will NOT be visiting this restaurant again.

Yelp
Great happy hour! Forgot to take pictures of all the food we got, but the spicy chicken bites, fried pickles, and onion rings were a huge hit! The pizza was a great thin crust pizza and so tasty! Everyone enjoy their drinks and it was a great place to grab a bite inside especially on a hot day. Service was a bit slow but looking at it as they weren't rushing us! Forgot to take picture of happy hour menu, but can be found online!

Yelp
Stopped by Main Street kitchen for Sunday Brunch. I ended up sitting at the bar and was able to chitchat with the bartender most of the morning. I really enjoyed this cozy place. It's small but they utilize the space really well and even have outdoor seating. I got the feeling that the staff members were kind, attentive and accommodating. I ended up ordering the Saffron marinated skewers with filet mignon. It was good but I wasn't blown away. I would definitely go again because appreciate the ambiance and the friendly staff.

Yelp
Ok, YUM. From the latte and fresh squeezed oj, to the bomb bread and jam, everything we ordered was tasty and fresh. 100% recommend for brunch! Location is super cute, and service is great. We also ordered the hash and a side of potatoes, the potatoes were just the right combination of crispy and soft mixed with herbs and sautéed onions. The acme bread was the star of the show and is featured in almost all of their dishes.

Yelp
I had a terrible experience at Main St, which centered around poor customer service. The food is mediocre, service is poor and prices are astronomical. Do not recommend.

Yelp
Had lunch here with my sister. We got to sit at the counter watching the magic of where all the food was made which we both enjoyed. I ordered the grilled hangar steak sandwich with salad. It was a popular option but I did notice it took a while to get the actual meal. Waitress came over and told us they gave my meal to another table so they comped my salad and finally delivered me my meal with French fries. The sandwich was so good!! I would definitely get it again. I appreciated they owned up to their mistake and even apologized. They really do care about the customers and it showed. I had never been here but it really is beautiful inside and outside. Looking forward to trying out more of their menu in the future.

Yelp
Nice, slightly upscale, fresh eats place that has some great options. The MTK fries and Brussel sprouts are a must try. They are both delicious and perfect to split. For lunch I got the pear salad which was very fresh and yummy. It featured a crumbled blue cheese and fresh fruit. Atmosphere was cool and looks like a cool spot to go for happy hour. We sat outside which was very nice, but watch out for falling branches. Service was average.

Yelp
My friend and I went for happy hour and it wasn't as busy as it is in the evening. The service was good and the food was delicious as it has it been the last few times I have gone. A really good solid choice in downtown!

Yelp
Met my aunt for lunch of few times. Their menu changes seasonally so the clam pasta and grilled peach salad are no longer available. The space is small but has a warm inviting feel to it, I love the eclectic mix of mismatched china and silverware. Service is always pleasant and the servers have all been lovely. With that being said, the food is incredibly expensive for the portion sizes and some of the dishes were a little underwhelming. The chicken in our salad was fried but poorly and it was super dry, there were very little salad greens. The clam pasta was great but not much of the squid pasta. The pizzas were good but again wildly pricey. You can get a medium Margherita pizza at Tomatina for the same price as MSK's personal sized one. If you're looking for a restaurant with a lovely ambience this is it, just be prepared to pay a lot for it.

Yelp
This place has really great vibes and ambience. We had a large group of 15 and they tried their hardest to accommodate us but we were unfortunately very cramped in the back room with another large party. I feel like maybe they over promised the two parties and probably should have prioritized seating a little better since the booth in the back is not large party friendly. However, with all of that said.. the food was VERY yummy. And the staff was wonderful and really did try their best to accommodate our group despite the lack of seating. I really would love to come here again with a smaller group to enjoy the front of the house seating or even the outside seating which has large heating lamps. It is quite busy on this street but we were able to find decent parking regardless. My only critique about the food is I wish they had ranch for my pizza. Haha. Other than that, very happy with this restaurant.

Yelp
My family brought me to this cute little bistro while visiting them in Walnut Creek. We shared a wood-fire margherita pizza and a shaved fennel & arugula salad. The crust on the pizza was light, with just enough chew; and the salad was fresh, bright, and the perfect complement. If you're in the area I would definitely recommend Main Street Kitchen. Prices are comparable for CA (& posh Walnut Creek). If you're going to spend money on a meal, it might as well be excellent food which is what we enjoyed! Reservations are highly recommended- we were surprised that the inside eating area was a 45 minute wait on a Thursday afternoon in mid January. We were able to be quickly seated, however, outside on the patio. So plan ahead and plan accordingly and you'll have a marvelous meal.

Yelp
We came to eat here after a thanksgiving meal fail and they were able to take our reservation. It saved our holiday! The food was flavorful, well spiced, and aesthetically plated. Our server, Litzania, gave us the best recommendations for our dinner and even let us try wines before we settled on a glass. 10/10 service from her, she was the best!! The ambiance of the restaurant is cozy and warm. I love how it felt eating here in the evening, with the dim lights and candles around the restaurant. This place would be an amazing date location- especially with the walkable streets and its proximity to broadway plaza.

Yelp
Main Street is one of my favorites while I have friends in town. I'm someone who's very picky with my pizza and pasta, and let me tell you, their pasta and pizza is AMAZING, pastas made in house and the sauce was to die for!

Yelp
Generally I skew ratings to prioritize product over service but once in a while the service is bad enough to warrant a correction. Main Street Kitchen is a relatively modern and clean restaurant inside. However, we were placed in the outside parklets. The benches were dusty, dirty with crusty bird poop on them. They made no effort to clean anything there. We told the waitress and asked for some wipes but she forgot. It took her 25 minutes from seating to collect orders. The food didn't arrive until 47 minutes after sitting down. I wanted the Old Fashioned Hash but I asked the waitress to replace eggs (which I can't eat) with something I can. She couldn't be bothered and refused to do so. So I got the steak sandwich which was actually pretty good. The meat was tender and the bread was nicely prepared. The $6 salad was a massive wad of lettuce but that's ok. We asked for a burger with grilled onions. Waitress initially said yes but the burger came out with raw onions. When we asked, she claimed they won't grill onions due to allergy reasons. Huh? Another person ordered the pesto panini but got a bunch of overcooked fry ends. She complained but was told that is just the way it is. Seriously our waitress couldn't care less. It's sad because the food is actually generally good. Fix the service.

Yelp
The only good thing was t service ,but no surprising the restaurant was not very busy.Every thing we ordered wasn't fresh it seems has been cooked hours before or left overs from lunch.

Yelp
After walking by Main Street Kitchen for years, my friends and I decided to try it. They have an extensive menu with something for everyone. I made a reservation for 4 via Resy on Thursday 8/8 but this morning one of our friends was unable to make it as she wasn't feeling well. I called MSK this morning to let them know we were a party of 3 instead of 4. I was worried about them charging the $25 cancellation fee mentioned on Resy. Not only did they not charge me the fee but they were also very appreciative that I gave them several hours' notice. We arrived a few minutes early and were seated quickly outside. The restaurant was busy but it wasn't overcrowded or noisy. Service was friendly and efficient. I got the chilaquiles and appreciated that they were able to make it without ham. They were delicious and probably some of the best I've had. My friends got the peach salad and tomato pasta and both added chicken. I tasted both their dishes (except for the meat) and they were great. I was also considering the peach salad so I will get that next time! I took of a star because 1) we were charged $9 for water and 2) the prices are a bit high. When we were first seated, we were asked if we wanted tap or bottled and we said tap. The waiter accidentally brought a bottle and asked us if it was ok to leave it. We said yes, as we weren't informed of the charge. Were we informed of the charge, we would have asked him to bring us tap. Verdict: although the prices are a bit high for us to come regularly, we would absolutely come back. The food was 5 stars and would have given MSK this rating if we were informed ahead of time about the bottled water charge.

Yelp
We went on a Sunday afternoon and it was jam packed! Thank goodness we reserved a table or else we would've had to go somewhere else because the wait was about an hr. It was pretty small servings but the mimosas were so good I didn't even care! definitely going back for that reason alone. The food was delicious my favorite had to be the pizza and salad. I wish we got to sit inside but goad it turned out to be a nice day!

Yelp
Good local restaurant in downtown Walnut Creek. They have a nice Bruch menu and a full bar. I tried a pizza and salad both were very good. Excellent service!
google avatar

Anthony C.

Yelp
Nice spot in Downtown Walnut Creek, food was good, and our server was very helpful. More pricey for the portion size you get and a somewhat limited menu, but I think they change the menu up often so could be worth checking them out every few weeks to see what is new. The burger was worth it for sure, cooked perfectly, and came with onion rings and fries. Inside was clean and they also have an outside dining area.
google avatar

Yelp
Dropping into Main Street Kitchen & Bar we loved how well the menu fit our tastes. The honey was able to order an eggs benedict, and I was able to order off the a la carte menu, with egg whites, potatoes, bacon and fruit. Additionally, it must be said that the European style fruit plate was amazing. It contained several different types of plums, apricots and cherries, as well as fruit you might find in a more American style plate like blueberries and strawberries. Everything was high quality and wonderful. All in all, we really enjoyed our meal and would definitely come back.
google avatar

Yelp
Super cute vibe inside. I ordered the fried chicken Benedict which was delicious! The cabbage slaw it comes with adds a nice little tang, loved the cilantro in it. The fried chicken pieces were soft, not dry, nicely coated. Eggs were cooked perfectly. Friends who ordered the fried chicken sandwich were happy with it too. We shared a side of fries which everyone thought were amazing. The seasoning is super tasty, little touch of rosemary reminded me of Thanksgiving in the best way. They were also nice and crispy! We had a party of 7 and for groups of 6 or more, there is a service charge and gratuity was included. We each got an entree, a drink (non-alcoholic), shared 2 orders of fries and split the gratuity; each paid $44. We thought it was fair. Really enjoyed my meal and I would recommend!

Yelp
Hate to leave such a poor review on one of my favorite restaurants but this is the second time that my credit card has been overcharged. The first time I called and they were able to fix it right away, this second time, I left a message with the front desk and am yet to hear back (it's been a week now and still no call back/resolution) Just a little ridiculous to be over charged and have to constantly follow up with them for it to be resolved.

Yelp
I've been here on multiple occasions previously, but on this night we just stopped in for some drinks. We were able to get seated pretty quickly in the back, which they apologized for but we actually preferred because it was further away from the brisk cold outside and much quieter. We all opted for espresso martinis which were delicious as always. What we appreciated most was the option to order food, yet no pressure put on us. We made sure to be quick and not take up table space for long, and appreciated the waiters kind attitude, helpfulness, and lack of pressure to order more.

Yelp
Came here for brunch to catch up with a good friend in Walnut Creek. The food and service were both great. I ordered the Mary's Fried Chicken sandwich and my friend got one of their omelettes. My chicken sandwich came with a side of slaw which was light and fresh. We were both happy with the flavour and the portion of both of our meals. If I'm ever back in the area, I'll probably want to try a different spot as the food here didn't particularly WOW us, but that isn't to say that there was anything wrong with it! Worth checking out if you have your eyes on it!

Yelp
i'm surprised by main st kitchen's rating! my family comes here all the time and it's a great restaurant in downtown walnut creek. on a weekend night, they have a great band playing. the inside is decorated very nicely and they have a great patio space. service is very good and professional from my experience. their cocktail and wine options are great. bar looks really nice and puts out some good drinks. the food never disappoints. last time, we got the salmon, soup of the day, and pork ragu. all were delicious. definitely recommend trying main street kitchen!
google avatar

Yelp
I'm surprised MSK doesn't have a higher overall rating! It's a solid spot for any meal. The restaurant itself is really cute and modern. Love the bar. Love the gorgeous tile oven. The food is pretty good across the board. Maybe not 5 stars for every single dish, but plenty of great options. On my most recent visit I a shared a little gem salad (SO GOOD), summer pizza (also fantastic) and fries (thick cut which isn't my favorite yet I still enjoyed them, especially dipped in the lemony aioli) with a friend. The cocktails are also beautiful and delicious.
google avatar

Marlee B.

Yelp
Staff :5 stars Ambiance: 5 stars Food: 3.5 stars This place is really cute and offers a good sizes menu. They offer a season dish on top of their staples. My review feels torn because the ingredients are fresh, clean and food is presented well. I am torn on this review because it feels like they tried too hard. We ordered chilaquiles and i wished they kept it more "classic". It came with ham layered in on the bottom that reminded me of deli slices meat. The french toast was made with a rustic bread but wasn't quite egged. Tried the Bloody Mary, not too shabby but i wished it had more umph. Mimosa, average.

Yelp
We have came here for many brunches with our family and we always have a great time in the food is wonderful

Ashlee T.

Yelp
I've passed by MSK many times and decided to stop in for a quick brunch on Sunday. Outdoor seating was pretty open at 10:30 which was perfect. It took a while for the wait staff to come to our table, but once we were able to order the food came out fairly quickly. Each dish is more on the expensive side, but the quality of their meats and veggies make sense on the higher prices. The ham that came with the Benedict was my favorite and I liked the combination of the MSK omelette of goat cheese and dates. We felt a bit rushed towards the end our meal as busser kept coming around to ask if they could take our plates when we were not yet finished and he just just given us our meal maybe 10 minutes beforehand. Overall, I'd come back but think that service could be improved.
google avatar

Rachael H.

Yelp
Quick and attentive service with mid-century modern decor--both indoor and outdoor seating. Food was all delicious and well timed/seasoned. Really enjoyed the herbs on the eggplant toast, and the pizza crust was thin and chewy. Fries are also well seasoned!

Yelp
We sat on the patio a beautiful summer night with live music going on! Ambiance was the best part of our experience and that's why Main Street gets a 4 out 5 (Ambiance gets a 5, food gets a 3). I found the food menu to be limited. The 3 people in our party struggled a bit on what to order (we ended up ordering summer squash, involtini, and a pepperoni pizza). The appetizers were OK, but the pizza was really salty, you somewhat expect that from a pepperoni, but not to this level! We tried an draft IPA, which was good. One good thing to know is the reservation system: I wanted to reserve for a Saturday night, knowing that they have live music, but they ask for credit card, and there is a $25 charge per person if you don't cancel 24 hours in advance. That was fair game to me, but good to be aware of.

Catarina V.

Yelp
The service and ambience are good but unfortunately the food was highly subpar. We ordered an omelette, french toast, and chilaquiles. The omelette was nothing more than eggs with uneven blobs of goat cheese and whole dates shoved inside it. The clumps of cheese were extremely sharp and the dates were extremely sweet. These two flavors didn't pair well and the eggs did nothing to balance it out. No vegetables or protein were included in the omelette to offset the strong flavors either. They hid a piece of sourdough underneath the omelette that became soggy due to the moisture of the eggs. For reasons I cannot understand, the kitchen tried to pass off rock hard sourdough slices as french toast. That's not the right bread for this dish. But if your goal is to lacerate the inside of your mouth into ribbons, this sure gets the job done. I can't vouch for the chilaquiles since I didn't try it but I can only hope it was decent. For the price of the food and the lack of quality, I wouldn't recommend this restaurant and I certainly will never return.

Yelp
After wanting to try this place for a few years, I finally went with a group of friends last Sunday for brunch. We really enjoyed everything. The food was yummy, the service was great. One of the friends was over an hour late so we didn't order our main dish for the first hour and our server did not make us feel uncomfortable about it, she was professional, positive and accommodating. I had the omelette with dates and goat cheese (MSK), it was delicious! I want to go back asap. Everyone enjoyed their dish, the pizza was also good. The Persian Breakfast was not really what we expected. I also really enjoyed the Oolong tea I ordered which came in a very cute and nostalgic tea pot. The ambience was sunny and positive.

Yelp
Love this place, always a staple food is always fresh and yummy. Ambience is friendly and staff is caring. Only con I have is I found out they use canola oil, after being told before they used olive oil, I'll be back but I hope they can convert to olive oil for a variety of health reasons.

Yelp
Portions of protein are very small. Was served 3-4oz of rancid filet mignon on a half pita covered in herbs for 30 dollars

Yelp
What a great find on Christmas Day in downtown WC on N. Main Street. The service is outstanding. Granted, we were dining on a major holiday but it is refreshing to see staff that is friendly nice and attentive with a warm welcoming caring attitude. Both our Servers (Austin and Avery) were FANTASTIC. That's why we came back in the same day(!) to have our day's meals. Can't say enough about the delicious food at this restaurant. Our Wagyu burger was both delicious and quite generous in size as my hubbie and I split it. The MSK Fries were KILLER. My husband's Eggs Benedict jalapeño cheddar biscuits and gravy was excellent as well medley of flavors, gravy etc. And, the menu is quite reasonably priced even offering some boozy holiday drinks. A winner brunch and dinner and we'll definitely be back!

Yelp
We went on a Wednesday morning so we could actually get a table, it seems to be absolutely packed on the weekends. The food was good, I got the veggie hash and the flavor was good, but unlike a traditional hash these veggies were big chunks, it made it a bit difficult to each, especially the onion, they were also a bit undercooked making them tough. I may return on another weekday but I also feel that there are better brunch options around.

Yelp
Sorry to say that I have to update this review. I liked the fish and chips so much last time and the service was great. I drove here from Lake Merritt today to enjoy the restaurant one more time. Unfortunately the female at the front had a problem with my service animal - even though the restaurant is "Pet Friendly." She tried to sit me outside in the 58 degree weather. I said I wanted to sit inside and she became very unfriendly offering me terrible seating options. I told her she made me uncomfortable and I had to leave. IMO, you should have someone professional and kind as the receptionist to a business. I will not return.

Yelp
The food was delicious, good flavors & texture. There was the grilled asparagus with bacon & hard boiled egg, & an order of the grilled cabbage for appetizers; both were different & had good flavor. The mains were 2 orders of the skirt steak, an order of the tacos & the halibut. All the food looked scrumptious. Oh & let's not forget the dessert: ice cream with a shot of expresso over it & 2 fruit cobbles with vanilla ice cream. The service was on point; our serve was attentive & made helpful suggestion. The ambiance was casual; it was a Thursday night, so it wasn't overly crowded & not overly noisy. Love the kitchen layout, it was well thought out. We'll be back to try out a few other menu options.

Yelp
Lovely place for delicious brunch options. Steak sandwich was amazing. Tables get full quick but bar seating was plentiful. Staff were courteous and friendly.

Yelp
Not good place if you expect friendly service, our server gave the impression of obligation when serving us. Didn't even ask for anything special, refill water being us condiments when you bring food. The food is mid for the price they charge and pay attention to the auto tip amounts, just know they will be standing over your shoulder when you do it. Would not go back.

Yelp
Went in during Sunday brunch and it was busy! Luckily my father and I went up to the bar and got immediately greeted. Service was quick and kind our bartender Malaki was amazing! He made a super good espresso martini and I highly suggest that if you order it, ask that he makes it. The food came out fast and nonetheless it was amazing as usual. We ordered the chicken apple sausage Benedict and mushroom omelette. Madison was the server that helped tend the bar and she was kind and attentive to the service. Love coming to this place and has yet to disappoint.

Yelp
This place is so cute. It has great energy both inside and outside, Service was excellent! Our server refilled my coffee without me even asking for it. That is a big deal for me. Lol. The food was delicious. I highly recommend the French fries. They are more like potato wedges cooked and seasoned perfectly. The fresh rosemary sprinkled on top had me sold! My avocado toast was delicious. The bread quality was excellent. Our table also got 2 sandwiches, an omelette , the ham and eggs Benedict and fresh fruits. Presentation was good and the food well prepared. They do charge you for a flat rate for service in addition to gratuities but they do service you well! Inside could be a bit noisy. Overall, the food tasted gourmet, the ambiance was lively and fun, and service was excellent. Tip: You can park at Nordstrom where they validate for 3 hours and walk over to this restaurant.

Yelp
Food was good, and servers were friendly! Our favorite part was definitely the fries, they're seasoned perfectly and so crispy and delicious! Everything else was good, but nothing spectacular. My one complaint is that the tables on the patio are packed extremely close together so it feels a bit cramped.

Yelp
This place is OMG for brunch! Let me put it this way: I drive all the way from Oakland (home to some of the best brunch spots) just to eat here. They offer delicious and creative brunch twists, top-notch ingredients, and a wonderful ambiance. Yes, it's on the pricier side, but the quality makes it so worth it. A definite must-try. Oh, and don't forget to make a reservation--it gets BUSY!
