Main Street Kitchen & Tap

To start, I was a bit confused about whether the restaurant offered host seating or self-seating. Since no one approached me and I didn’t want to stand around unsure, I seated myself at the bar. It became clear that this was more of a management and staffing issue rather than a service issue, as there were only two women handling the bar, placing orders, running food, and seating guests. Despite being short staffed, they were very kind and hardworking. I placed my order at 6:08 PM, had a glass of wine, and my food arrived at 6:39 PM. This is not a place for a quick meal if you choose to dine here, expect to sit back, enjoy a drink, and be patient while your food is prepared. If you’re in a hurry or very hungry, a faster paced restaurant may be a better option. I ordered the Brussels sprouts and the whiskey glazed salmon with potatoes. The Brussels sprouts were delicious with a nice sweet flavor, exactly how I like them. The salmon itself was a bit underwhelming, but pairing it with the sweetness of the Brussels sprouts made the dish much more enjoyable. The potatoes were good as well, with a rich garlic butter flavor. Overall, my experience was positive. The staff was very sweet, and I would return. This is a slower, laid-back restaurant with an intimate atmosphere best enjoyed when you’re not in a rush.

My family and I have never been here before, we went on Father’s Day. The server I didn’t catch her name, but she was blond. She was very kind, and helpful. She helped us make a decision on our food. Asking her, What do you recommend? This place was very mellow, not too loud. It was clean, there’s outdoor seating. Not too chilly or hot outside. Food came out quick. We love their wings. We got that as an appetizer but it’s not pictured, we ate it all so fast. Definitely try everything with the sauce how it comes you’ll expand your tastebuds. The plates pictured are the Double Smash Burger, The Club (I can’t remember which one), and The Whiskey Salmon with grilled vegetables and creamy potatoes.

Very cute place and the service was on point. We ordered the calamari, which may be one of the best we've had! We also ordered the fish and chips and fish tacos. Unfortunately my fish and chips were soggy. I was hoping for that crunchy outside with yummy flaky white fish inside. What I got was soggy, which in turn made the French fries soggy. The fish had a lot of discoloration, not that pretty white I was hoping for. I get it, it's bar food, but that first impression gets people going back. My husband ordered the fish tacos, and although very pretty, also fell flat on flavor. We will give them another try and see how our 2nd visit goes. The pizza looked really good, so we may give that a try. The girls who work the bar and do table service were great, friendly and on top of it.

This is one of my go to spots in Lake Elsinore. The crew is great, food never disappoints. Consistently always a great experience. Don’t hesitate, just go. There’s something for everyone

The orange chicken was delicious. Chill atmosphere. Excellent service. Reasonable prices. Variety of seating options. One restroom available. Ice cream next door was good.

Delicious Mac 'n Cheese Special. I split it with my friend & we each had a really good side salad. It was a perfect meal. The third person at our table had a pepperoni pizza. He said he thought it was the best he's ever had!

Great service, friendly, music great too. Hubby even said,”they know how to cook a good steak” he had the ribeye, I had the raspberry walnut salad. Was delicious! Oh, and the sweet chili Brussels sprouts are wonderful. Will definitely be back!

Been there a few times before and food is always on point as was this time. The service is little slower probably because its busy. The servers make up for it because they are always cool and helpful when selecting from the menu. We will definitely be back and I recommend it to anyone who would like to sit down have a good drink paired with a good meal in a awesome environment.

We finished our hectic day (packing and moving) and needed a spot with indoor seating/ strong AC/ and good bites. Main Street Kitchen & Tap definitely delivered. Even though outdoor dining is available- we were good, people watching thru the windows. LOL. Plenty of off street parking and a very convenient FREE parking lot across the street. So many delicious options to choose from. We figured let's nit pick our plates. Salmon Tacos (2):$17.45 Blackened HUGE chunk of salmon, creamy lime sauce, cilantro & avocado. Served w/ chips & salsa. MSKT DELIVERED this! So delicious the salmon portion was incredible. Lettuce Wraps: $15.43 We asked ahead of time how many servings this would make, and one order worked perfect for the both of us. Chicken, chestnuts, celery, sautéed mushrooms. The glaze is awesome in this mixture. Crunchy rice noodles included in chicken bowl. Toppings: cucumbers, julienne carrots, & bean sprouts. The dressing is a light ginger, sesame oil, and perhaps a tad citrus. We were curious about the Texas Eggrolls. I assumed there was some type of ground beef mixture inside. We inquired and it's cream cheese. So, we picked Baked Brie instead. Baked Brie: $17.54 Bunch of grapes; sliced apples; sweet jam, & crostinis. I asked my friend if she ever had baked Brie before and this is her first! It was cool to see the apples sliced the way they're served here! We felt so fancy shmancy! For the flavors, friendly service, and relaxing atmosphere- MSKT is a must in Lake Elsinore. I've been frequenting Lake Elsinore every weekend for the past month, and wouldn't mind another visit again. It felt like we stayed for two hours on our weekend visit and we did not feel rushed at all.

Nice little fun place for a quick bite and a drink. In a very nice area of Lake Elsinore, easy parking, and not wait, staff was very friendly and helpful, sports on TV, nice light music, small bar for drinks. The Pizza is here was great, nice dough, good char from the oven, and great to share. The Chicken garlic Aoli sandwich was great, strong garlic flavor. The fish and chips were ok, nice fish, but the batter was too dense for me. Probably would not get again, but it was a big portion and my kids loved, so I think it more about preference. Fried calamari, delicious, good size, perfect to share. Really enjoyed overall, Dragon egg approved!

Pleasant find after the drive to San Diego county stretched into night and hanger crept over me. I had never visited Lake Elsinore, so this was a great excuse to cruise down Main St. of a small town freshly decorated for a festive Christmas season. Main Street Kitchen & Tap is perfectly situated across from a public parking lot, but we easily found parking at the curb out front. Tables outside looked inviting, but we were a bit chilly, so inside we popped. The brick and wood decor added to the cozy vibe and walls displayed historic photos of Old Lake Elsinore Main Street. Love that! After scanning the menu, I opted for the Whiskey Glazed Salmon with steamed broccoli and creamy garlic potatoes (which I read as mashed, but no, they're cubed). The salmon was cooked nicely and the whiskey sauce was tasty and light without being overly sweet. I think I would've preferred garlic mash potatoes, but ate a bit of the cubed ones to note they were fine. The steamed broccoli was done perfectly and NOT drowning in butter, which I greatly appreciated. Hubs was peckish, not as hungry as me and asked if he could get the kid's menu cheeseburger and fries for an upcharge. Nichelle, our friendly server, said, 'No problem, it's understood it's a smaller portion adults also like.' Great! It states that it comes with a free soda as part of the kid's menu, but Hubs had already ordered coffee, and I don't drink soda, so that was itemized along with the coffee charge, but we didn't mind because Hubs was getting exactly what he was craving. He proclaimed the cheeseburger and very soft, steamed bun as 'Yummy!' and the serving of fries 'just right.' All in all, MSKT was a delightful discovery and we would pop in again when returning to Lake Elsinore, which we will better plan for and make time to enjoy the shops along this quaint stretch. Service was excellent. Food is about a 3.5 rating. I love my ribs because the meat was so tender, falling off bones but the creamy garlic potatoes sounded better than it tasted. It was bland. My husband had fish and chips and thought it was ok. He didn't like how small the fish was. The fries were ok. Ambiance was less than average. Probably not going to be back. We ended up here because the French restaurant was closed.

The poke bowl and pineapple margaritas here are on point. Don't underestimate this little spot. The vibe is poppin and the service is legit.

Cute restaurant on the corner of Main Street that offers different items to suit any appetite. We came in and were told to sit anywhere. Restaurant has indoor and outdoor seating. On a Sunday afternoon it was pretty slow but by the time we were leaving it looked like business was picking up. They have a pretty good drinks menu ranging from beer and wine but I just opted for water. I wanted to order pizza but sadly their oven wasn't working properly. Instead, I got the Brussel sprouts, BBQ chicken salad, and a poke bowl. The Brussels sprouts had a sweet and sour glaze like a Thai sweet chili. They were tender with a crispy shell and the small bacon pieces elevated the dish even more. The BBQ chicken salad had fresh greens, moist chicken, and onion straws. This was a really good and filling salad. The poke bowl was only okay. I didn't like that the imitation crab didnt have any flavor and the poke itself didnt look or taste fresh to me which is surprising because we were told it was one of the most popular dishes. I would come back to this place alone just for the Brussels sprouts! 100/10

The waitress's Christina & Tony were amazing. They both were on it with service which made the experience great. The atmosphere of the pub was nice... The food was amazingly delicious.

Came here today around 2:45 pm friendly staff but we ordered our food and it took so long for the food to come it took well over 35 minutes for the food to come out we ordered a burger and salmon . To the point we wanted to leave there wasn't many people when we were here so idk what was taking so long but it was our first time coming and definitely our last time coming due to how long it took. The food was good but it took way too long for the food ! It's a great place. If you just wanna sit and talk and you don't care how long your food's gonna take but if you're thinking like it's you know like a regular restaurant it wasn't that for us. I don't even think when I go to packed out restaurants, I've waited that long but it's nice if you just wanna sit back and relax and we'll talk for a while, but if you're hungry, I don't suggest going there.

To start the food was great, however something seemed off today. We have been coming here since they opened but today was different. The music was too loud, 4 TV's all on the same channel? It was the service, I had never seen these 2 servers before. There was a total of 6 customer 's so not busy. It took 10 minutes to get our drinks and about 30 + minutes to get our food once we ordered it.

Top tier food, service, and atmosphere. Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious. Our server was so great and gave us the best recommendations for what to order. Our favorites were the egg rolls, smash burger, pizza, and California sandwich. If we are in the area again, we will definitely be back.

I was at a craft fair across the street from this place and walked over to grab a bite to eat with my granddaughter. When we walked in I noticed the place closed in 40 minutes. I asked the server (Christiane) that I don't like to come to restaurants close to closing time and she responded with a smile on her face and said it was no problem and set us down at a table. Christiane was an amazing waitress my granddaughter ordered the Poke Bowl. I could not make up my mind on what salad to order so I told her to surprise me. She came out with this beautiful Citrus Chicken Salad it was as good as it looked. I loved that the dressing did not overpower the fresh ingredients in the salad. The place had a cute little bar that reminded me of Cheers. As the customers would leave they replied to them by name and some of the locals they said they would see them tomorrow. I loved that. Really looking forward to trying something new and sharing it with you. If you are looking for a local place that has the cheers vibe this is your place and the food is good and reasonable priced.

We went for for the first time yesterday around 3PM. They weren't very busy (only one table there beside us) but it took about 30 minutes for us to get our food. That was ok though because we weren't starving and not in a hurry to get home. My friend order the BBQ chicken salad. She enjoyed it. I ordered the Fried Chicken Sandwich and it was soooo good! The best chicken sandwich I've ever had. I paid extra to get onion rings, but I'd skip on those next time. I love salty things, but they were too salty. Not enough onion and too much breading. Still 5 stars though because that sandwich was heaven. The waitress was very nice. Like Arnold, we will be back!

Average food. My friends loved it though. The Texas Egg Rolls are simply stuffed with cream cheese. They're more like Crab Rangoon. The dough shell was rather chewy. The Penne alla Vodka Pasta had a pink sauce that was not bad. The chicken was somewhat dry. The Baby Back Ribs were decent and fall off the bone. They needed more BBQ sauce so I got an extra side of sauce. The creamy garlic potatoes lacked flavor so I got a side of ranch to go with them. The skewer of grilled vegetables was good but needed seasoning. The Whiskey Glazed Salmon my friend said was great. The BBQ Chicken Salad was enjoyed by my other friend. Great selection of beer and wine. They actually had New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc which was nice. I got myself a large Blue Moon on tap.

Good food with co-workers on a lunch break. Fresh ingredients used at a reasonable price.

Great food, horrible staff. 05/17/2025 Every time my wife and I come to Main Street we have the same experience. I suggest starting fresh with new employees. Walk in, no one. Waters never arrive. I need a pay check for the amount of effort. On a positive note the food is good, beer is good.

Great restaurant... I don't drink so can't comment on the bar aspect but we like this place for the food. Good pizza. Hubby likes the Jumbalaya. We don't eat out much due to finances but on the rate occasion we do this is a place we enjoy a couple times a year. Four stars is because I reserve 5 stars for the rare knock your socks off, fresh handmade everything type of meal but this is a great casual meal out.

First time here today! Had the Dynamite shrimp and Lettuce Wraps. Both were delicious. Service (Aubrey) was warm & friendly. Thank you for a great first time experience.

I was excited to try a 4.5 star place in Elsinore, but I don't see it, personally. The build out is nice and retro-contemporary. Craft beer selection was OK, but some things were out or substituted. Service was pleasant, but not overly chummy. This place seems focused on regular locals, and I clearly wasn't. My blackened salmon tacos were supposed to be spicy but they weren't. There actually wasn't too much salmon, either. The avocado slices looked a little sad and pale. And with no rice or beans sides, rather pricey at $17. I realize that prices have gone up post-COVID, but everything seemed to be big city prices. I want to say craft beers were about $8.50.

We absolutely love coming to this restaurant whenever we're in the area. They have the BEST Philly Cheesesteak sandwich and always an amazing selection of beers on draft. The calamari is also really good. I don't think we've ever been unhappy with anything we order here though. Service has been great too, it has a real locals vibe and a nice ambiance in a rather small space. Can't wait to go back!

I tried the food here again. I got the orange chicken which was outstanding. 5 out of 5. I also got a CaliCreamin beer which is one that if I do drink beer. I like. We got the egg rolls with jalapeño jelly. They are basically filled with cream cheese and then the plate is decorated with the other ingredients. The lettuce. Beans and tomatoes I think. I can't remember last ingredient. I wish they just filled them. These were fire taste wise. He got the burger and onion rings. I tried to warm him they taste funny. And like me he wasn't a fan of the batter. We typically love onion rings. One more that he added cheese, avocado and bacon and his $18 burger became $25. Knowing the cost difference would have been nice. But overall the burger taste great according to him. Overall the service was excellent. Ambiance nice and we have a new date nice place to work through the menu.

The jambalaya is sooo good!! You have to try that or the other 2 items I recommend are the bbq pizza and garlic parm fries! The food always comes out pretty quick and the employees are nice. The vibe on Fridays and Saturdays are awesome if your looking for a bigger crowd feel but if you looking for a nice calmer scene definitely go during the week! Overall I've been coming here since 2016 when they first opened and I'm not looking to stop any time soon! GREAT JOB MSKT!

We stopped by for a quick lunch on a Friday. It was pretty quiet when we walked up. We were greeted warmly and promptly by Nicole (I hope I got her name right, it was printed on our receipt). She was our server, bartender and hostess that day and she was fantastic. She recommended the citrus dressing for my mom's cobb salad and she absolutely loved it. It was a great suggestion and I'm glad she took the time to talk about it with us. We both ordered salads and they were enormous portions. I got the Greek salad. And while flavorful I really think it could be stepped up a notch if only chopped even more. A chopped Greek salad would be perfect in marrying all the flavors. While my salad was diced up into bite size pieces, the chopping would really improve this one. We look forward to visiting again soon.

Went to Main Street Kitchen and Tap for the first time. Had the Italian sub and it was very tasty. Tiffany was my server and was delightful. So nice to have air too especially in this heat. Can't wait to go again. Telling my friends about Main Street.

Food very good, service very good. Try the fish and chips! Yum!!!! And I think it's not right to have to have a certain amount of characters!

We had the fish tacos- including salmon tacos. They were very good! Service was good. Ambiance was ok- I thought it would match the upscale menu. Bathroom was kind of basic & could use a deep clean.

They do not offer the Ahi Tuna salad or appetizer anymore which is basically the good stuff they had before. Orange peel Chicken was soooo spicy that I couldn't eat it, menu doesn't state it is spicy and all the time I had it in previous visits it wasn't. Spicy at all! No consistency in the menu... Sad, I am not returning to this place that definitely has gone down since they started...

Habibi Kebab in Rancho Cucamonga has the most delicious Mediterranean food in the area. Our family has been patronizing the restaurant since it has been open. All the food in the menu is always made perfectly as ordered. They also give you points and you get discounts often if you join. Suzanne is always so friendly and sweet. The best service and food!!

I come here once a a month to meet a friend half way for lunch & I love this place! We keep saying that we are going to try another restaurant because there are a lot of good looking restaurants on the street but we keep coming back to Main Street. Their pizzas are amazing. Our favorite is the California BLT pizza and we get a salad every single time it never disappoints!

Small menu makes for better quality food, large portions enough to share. Highly recommend the Dynamite shrimp!

Not much else to say since my last review other than another great lunch with great service from Main Street Kitchen and Tap. This time tried the Blackened Salmon Tacos and the wife had BBQ Chicken Salad and of course the Texas Egg Rolls appetizer.

It's amazing I usually goe there when I have enough money to, they are a bit expensive but the food is very well made and you get served pretty quickly! It's very nice vibes in there it's not too loud and they always have football or some sort of sports playing. The pizza's as well as the fish and chips there are very tasty!

delicious food. Handmade tortillas. Some of the best fish tacos I've ever eaten and also the chicken salad was delicious. Outstanding Customer Service. I highly recommend this restaurant to everyone. Right in the heart of quaint old town Lake Elsinore.

I really only eat one thing here, the Poke bowl is great, fresh crab, tuna, rice, edamame. It's a great tasty salad.

My new favorite spot. Located on the corner of Main Street. Old brick historic building. Really neat aesthetics. Great atmosphere and ambiance. Quaint. Food is delicious. I got a 1/2 order of fish & slaw. Delicious. Fish was beer battered and fresh. Slaw was really good. Love their tater sauce. My server was really nice. She was friendly and attentive. Service was quick. Prices are reasonable. Quality food at a decent price. I'll definitely be returning when I'm in the area.

When we got to the restaurant there were two other tables taken. The waitress was nice. May I suggest when a customer asks for the dressing on the side of the salad, that's exactly what that means. If you're planning on serving the salad with dressing on it, let the customer know. When I ordered the dressing on the side she did not tell me that the dressing was already on the salad and an EXTRA serving of dressing would cost extra. Had I known the salad had the dressing on it i would not have asked for any. I was not a happy camper. The crunchy chicken salad was delish. It was fresh and crunchy. My friend ordered the hawaiian pizza. That was delish! We were thankful that the air conditioning was blasting since it was more than 100 degrees.

I love this place! My husband and I love the chicken lettuce wraps. The salmon and salmon tacos are delicious! The salmon is so moist and perfectly cooked. Actually, I haven't had anything here that I didn't like. Cocktails are reasonably priced. Can't wait for COVID to be over so we can sit at the bar and watch sports.

Came here a couple nights ago with some coworkers for my first time. Outstanding food and outstanding service. Our waitress was definitely wonderful. And the food was amazing, it was fresh and definitely got to you while it was still hot. The place was energetic, clean and has great style. Hopefully my next time there will be the same. Thank you and y'all deserve the 5 star rating from me.

This pizza is SO GOOD. The Brussels sprouts are also *chef's kiss* absolutely perfect. I'm working on trying everything from their menu, but just those 2 items alone have me in a chokehold. Plus the staff is so nice!!!!! So many beers on tap to choose from, too! This is the perfect place to meet with friends, hang with family, or just enjoy your time alone. Sit outside on Main Street, drink your beer, and just enjoy the day at this great spot.

As soon as we walked in the venue, there was no greeting and multiple servers behind the bar were talking adamantly about our group who were just there to "just take shots." No staff sat us nor directed us but continued to speak negatively about us behind the bar. Racist owner was brought the attention of staff who then responded to patrons, "you're the one with the problem." Racist owner also did not try to rectify the situation, but condoned to his inappropriate staff member actions. Would not recommend for families just passing through or families of color. Head to Stadium Pizza (next door) instead where people have basic mannerism and overall better customer service.

They always have a surprise menu!!! Today's special it always changes. They are always flexible to accommodate your likes.

Our server was hella rude. The orange chicken was good but we felt ignored since we weren't sitting at the bar top section. Blonde waitress ignored us because we "weren't her table" that's what we heard her say when asking for napkins Poor experience

Food is always amazing. Large portions ambience is cool. Waitresses are always really nice and helpful.

We've been customers of Main Street Kitchen & Tap since they opened several years ago. We have been followers of owner/chef Bob throughout the southern Riverside Countarea since 1998. Bob knows how to make amazing appetizers and even better pizza and main dishes. His recipes suit a tap house setting. There are plenty of choices that will tempt those who like spicier food as well as flavorful bar offerings and drinks. From tasty pizza to burgers to salads and Asian offerings, there is something special for just about any palate. You always feel welcome as you walk in to a cheerful "Welcome. Have a seat where you like." Service is always prompt with personal attention. We highly recommend stopping in to Main Street Kitchen & Tap.
