Main Street Pizza of Tarrytown

One of the best personal pizzas I have ever created. This is what I ordered Extra vodka sauce extra ricotta cheese and extra meatballs. Definitely one of the best pies I have ever had in Ny Nj Conn

Food was AMAZING especially the pizza. Workers were nice.

Very nice selection of pizza by the slice. The vodka and primavera slices were very good, the crust was crunchy and not too salty. Will definitely go back to try some of the other types of pizza. The have thick style pizza too.

Grew up on this pizzeria, walking home from W.I, those of you who know. Grab a slice and a drink after cheerleading practice, always hit the spot, but guys it is new owners and I am happy to say they are amazing. I never crave a Philly Cheesesteak until I tried theirs. Of course the pizza is beyond good. Try it!

Delicious pizza and friendly staff. I love the buffalo chicken slice. This place can be pretty busy for lunch time so consider that. They move pretty fast but sometimes the inside is fully seated, especially on a hot day. The drinks are cold and the pizza is foldable and hot. It’s great.

Went here the other day and didn’t think the pizza was good honestly I would rather go to uncle Giuseppe’s in Yorktown Heights. No, I’m definitely not getting this place confused by the way I did come in here. I got a vodka pizza. It had little pieces of basil on it. And I posted this couple days after I was there is because that’s when Google asked me to write the review as soon as I got this, I wrote what my honest opinion was of the place of the food and I didn’t like it and I don’t recommend this place to anyone ever !!!!! The pizza was disgusting ! I’ve had way better pizza living in New York and like I said, I recommend going to another pizza’s restaurant, I would never come here again.

Edit: I went back and safe to say will never return. What they pass for pizza looks like it came out of an easy bake oven. Small, flat and to my eyes, unappealing. *************************************** What was once a great place for pizza (under the previous owners) sadly no longer exist. The new owners took the time to renovate the place but seem to have forgotten to hang up the menu and prices. So it's anyone's guess as to what you're paying for the items available. As for the pizza I did see, they reminded me of those pizza places in Manhattan where they charge a dollar. The cheese Sicilian looked nice though. In regards to ordering a pie half cheese, half sausage, well, the picture I added shows sparingly placed crumbled sausage bits. Whereas other pizza places use lengthwise or circular slices, this is pathetic and the price is far more than it's worth.

Best pizza I’ve ever had, not exaggerating. I even spent two weeks in Rome on a food tour, this is hands down my favorite yet.

Ordered pizza for a soccer team party. That have consistently good pizza and the size has perfect for a creditor of teenage boys. The pies are always hot and delicious. I do recommend calling ahead of your ordering more than 5 pies. It can take at least an hour to get them all ready especially if it's during lunch time.

- Cheese pizza I was so craving for a oily cheese pizza and this is somewhat of the closest thing I could satisfied my craving.

Basic good pizza, we tried the fig/balsamic and the buffalo chicken. The buffalo chicken was pretty good and so was the fig/balsamic. Good local spot for decent pizza.

Place is small with just enough seating. Super busy when I came in, lots of delivery pizzas being made between people dining in. I noticed everyone getting pizza, but decided to get the grilled chicken honey wrap. First off it's very big, which was great. Flavor was just decent though, you'd get random bites of flavor. And the wrap itself fell a apart almost immediately, really needed a fork in the end. But I noticed the owner seemed annoyed the whole time, and I noticed he had to be pushed aside to let another guy handle things. Is it good? Yeah I guess, when all the good places are too busy. But otherwise nothing to write home about.

Before road tripping, we decided to stop in town for a quick gran n' go bite. After two other delis were closed due to their "vacationing week", we stumbled into Main Street Pizza. With plenty if booth seating, there were about 8 middle school kids and two young families enjoying their lunch. The menu is very extensive! Multiple salads, chicken dishes, appetizers, and specialty pizzas. We were impressed by all of the (about 15-20) pizzases they had on display in the counter window. The owner was friendly and accommodating. The whole restaurant was clean, including behind the counter. All of the workers were we re fast and efficient We ordered a chicken hero and a chicken Caesar salad. Both amazing! The portions were huge!! The sandwhich can absolutely be split into two. If you're ever in a pinch in Tarrytown, this is thw lunch stop for you!

Stopped in for our first trip to the area and got pizza while walking. The service was great and they were extremely friendly and couldn't have asked for more loved the pizza it tasted so fresh and the place looked really well put together and loved the vibes def if your in town check out this place!!!!

Tried to pick up an order for a ".delivery app." They were extremely rude, they lied to me and the customer. Would never ever patronize them if I was in their neighborhood!!

Food was awesome! I got a grilled chicken honey wrap and a side of grilled vegetables. Vegetables grilled perfectly- chicken was perfect texture and thin. Very good food- definitely will get take out there next time I'm in town.

Did me order on the app and told what time I would pick up. Did the order about 2 hours before hand. Got there earlier than I expected and was told the time I said the order was to be picked up. Not to say, "oh you're early - let me get that for you as fast as I can. No, you're going to tell me what time I put on the order to be picked up. At least my food was hot when I got back to work. Didn't even give me napkins or a fork. Thankfully I did ask for a straw! I used to order from them when I worked in Elmsford a couple of years ago and never had a problem with ordering or food, but now???

The food was decent, but the service was absolutely horrendous. My wife called in an order, and they gave us the wrong pizza. When I pointed out their mistake, the guy who takes orders, acting like a clueless teenager, rudely insisted my wife was wrong and that they couldn't possibly have messed up. His arrogance and incompetence, all while fumbling around trying to juggle multiple tasks, were infuriating. To top it off, they charged me for their error. I paid, but thanks to his ignorance and rudeness, we'll never go back. Their lack of basic customer service skills has lost them a customer for good.

Wasn't expecting much here, but the options are terrific. ~Detroit Style ~Philly Cheesesteak Style ~Veggie (Just to name a few) The Detroit style was especially good; that burnt cheese on the brim? Damn Philly Cheesesteak style was great too, especially the crust! Service was fine, and the space's cleanliness is adequate.

One of the biggest things you need in any town in the NY metro area is a solid hometown pizza place. Without that, there is little point to living here. For Tarrytown, that place seems to be Main Street. Centrally located in town, this place is bare bones but does have really friendly staff; main guys are nice and there's 1 dude answering the phones who may be the single friendliest pizza employee I've ever heard. Prices are reasonable and selection of options is pretty damned good with some nice and inventive stuff (ie: gorgonzola fig). Putting aside the fancy stuff, the regular slice itself is pretty damned good. Crust doesn't puff up a ton but it has nice bready character to go with some rigidity. Cheese and sauce is applied judiciously, with a bit more weigh to cheese. Sauce still shines through regardless and is very simple. Everything integrates nicely to give a quintessential--good if not great--NY slice joint flavor profile. I prefer pepperoni and my wife prefers mushroom, however it's hard to go wrong. I actually like the grandma slices even more, where the sauce shines much more. Specialty slices are similarly worthwhile. Garlic knots are also excellent. This is our go to pizza joint from here on out. We had it 4 days in a row recently. It's worth the detour if necessary, and if it's nearby then you're a lucky SOB.

We got 4 slices to go for lunch. The slices were huge and delicious. Service was quick and efficient.

Waste of pizza at $6.25 per slice. Taste was not memorable nor was the atmosphere. Loads of other tasty local choices around.

The go-to Tarrytown slice. They'll do a cheesiness Sicilian slice, which is quite good for those who love pizza but can't eat cheese. The salad slice, while sounding like a terrible idea, was a good idea, and I was pleasantly surprised. Our regular slice is the regs Sicilian which is the size of two LI slices, about the size of shoe box. I take the lactiaid when I have this, but it's worth it and delish. My brother seems to like their regular slice, as does his kids and we've been a handful of times since we moved here. We also get pies about every other Friday and lasts us (2 people) about a week. The mrs likes to mix the left overs with eggs, which I admit is odd, but it's a trip. I just eat the cold slice like a respectable NY'r. Very accommodating to your dietary needs, which is a pleasant surprise. Probably walk over there now to be honest.

Finally. An okay slice of pizza in Westchester. Yelp requires I elaborate. It is thin like a NY slice, has a decent amount of elastic to the dough. The sauce to cheese ratio was standard. The topping were pleasingly distributed. The bottom could have been a touch firmer.

I went to Main Street pizza today. Because it is my favorite local pizza place and unfortunately I was highly disappointed. I ordered a pizza was told it would take 25 minutes when I arrived. They told me it'd be a few more minutes. I went back outside, waited an additional 5 minutes re-entered. The establishment was told again that it would be a few more minutes, and then upon my own realization, they were just beginning to make the pizza that I ordered. The owner came to me and said that there was a confusion in the orders and that he made my pie, but he made it plain with no toppings. You figure out the logic in that, and then when I went back an hour later when it would be ready, no conversation, not even a sorry from the owner. So, unfortunately, I can no longer Frequent this establishment, and I will tell anybody who asks about it, not to go there

As a family we decided to give Main st another chance and were unfortunately disappointed again. It's painfully clear that these people simply don't care. Our order tonight included two cheese steaks, both specified as no onion... only to come home after enduring pick up on main st to discover extra onion on both. An unfortunate way to discover that my 13 year old is adaptable and kind to unexpected situations. Please use caution when choosing this business and support literally any other pizza restaurant in TT/SH. Featuring a photo of the amount of meat vs onion on a half of a Steakandcheese wedge, hold the onion.

The pizza here had exceptional quality flavors. They also have a great variety of food options beyond just pizza. Would for sure eat here again.

Lovely Staff, Accommodating to request to hold ingredients, always prior deliver. Today I went for the Cobb Salad, was delicious as a salad should be and was a great portion.

If Consistency was a person... I don't know how they do it, but the Pizza is always so good, consistently delivering the same great taste. The Salad is always fresh. And the meat is always juicy.

I stopped by for a slice and a soda the slice wasn't hot it was room temperature and the counter person wasn't friendly at all he made you think he was doing you a favor.

ill keep you at 4, but after my regular slice and chicken parm, im thinking overall its closer to a 3.5 still better than average, but im not too sure ill be back so soon as there as tons of great looking spots up and down the road to try too. honestly, my regular slice was lacking, also broke in half, not saying its gotta have flop, but something wasnt quite right and it wasnt close to the square i had the week before. no worries, thats why were here, to try it out and let you know.

Stumbled upon this gem on my day trip from NYC to Tarrytown. The pizza is AMAZING!!! We got a large cheese for the kiddos, a Buffalo chicken slice for me and a chicken bacon ranch slice for my cousin. We also got 4 Snapple's and a soda for a total of $36. Crust was nice and crunchy, the cheese pizza was extra cheesy, and the slices are huge! We ended up taking 3 slices home from the large, kids devoured it in the car on the way home. 100% would recommend.

First time with the new owners. So far impressed. Shrimp scampi slices are huge and delicious! Def Hittin' this joint again.

Great pizza! The hardest part was choosing which slice to eat. We had 2 special slices- 1 fig, 1 eggplant. 2 cheese slices and a shrimp wedge. All were delicious!

Don't bother. As others have said (I wished I had consulted yelp before I went) the guy answering the phone and who was the only person in the shop was ridiculously rude. During this covid time, I'm ordering and supporting local businesses as much a possible but not to get yelled at. I left the pizza there and went to Horsefeathers where, as usual, they acted like regular kind adults.

Vinny, the manager, helped my family think through our food purchase for a birthday party--he was patient, professional, and amiable. The pizzas were delicious and people couldn't get enough of the buffalo wings. They were thoughtful to include tongs and a serving spoon with our salad order. Would use them again in a heartbeat. Thanks to the entire team at Main Street Pizza for making our party a success!

Great service, quick delivery and friendly staff. Try the ' WHITE PIZZA' finally a pie for people like me who have tomato food allergies! Fresh mozzarella and Ricotta over a thin crust. Yum. Tiramisu was heaven- light, just the correct semi sweet and flavorful. Great to have this neighborhood gem!

Tasteless! worst pizza I have had in years. I grew up in NY. This was horrible. Had one slice, through the rest away. Do your self a favor, order from Pizza Hut, Dominos or another chain restaurant. At least it will have some flavor. Wasted a hard earned $40.00.

I wanted NY pizza, but this wasn't really the place. It's a mom and pop on Main Street and was busy enough. It's hard to rate a restaurant off one slice, but a yelpers got to do what a yelpers got to do. I got the spinach and ricotta pizza. It was heated prior to consuming. Not greasy, just kind of bland. The rest of the pizzas were kind of bland. I thought for a Friday everything would be a bit more fresh. Really nice people, though.

service was awful. I asked for a pepperoni and sausage slice and they gave me a sausage pepper roll. No refund. Apparently I have to be more clear. Food wasn't great. I would bot recommend. I downloaded yelp so I could wright this thats how bad it was. Don't go.:

Pizza is good , Sandwiches are not, I ordered " the boss, which was a chicken cutlet, Proccuito, and Fresh mozzarella, The one skinny chicken cutlet was so thin you could almost see through it and it was all breading, add one thin slice of procuitto that had to be searched for, and one thin slice of fresh mozzarella. Follow with a ton of lettuce and tomato and you have the skimpiest sandwich since Subways.I wasn't expecting a " Dagwood" but damn put some main ingredients on the sandwichs , just don't fill with lettuce and tomatoes. I'd go back but only for the pizza.

I bought a pepperoni slice there twice before and I thought it was good. I bought one tonight and it was probably the worst pizza I ever had. It looks good. Large slice nice looking pepperoni. The sauce had almost no flavor. The crust was dry and powdery. Practically inedible. I don't plan to try it ever again. I haven't found any decent pizza in Tarrytown. Very disappointing

Great pie was had from this fine pizzeria. We ordered the margarita which came delivered to us by a friendly driver. The pizza was fresh and hot, with a crispy crust and generous helping of cheese. Apparently there's three different cheeses on the margarita, we loved all three. Sauce was perfect and complimented the cheese and crust perfectly. No basil to speak of only complaint I could have. We also had a side of wings which were average. Astro diet Pepsi and got regular pepsi. A couple little things couldn't detract from the excellent pizza.

Hubby and I stopped after a day of seeing the sights. Each got a slice and a garden salad. The slices had great flavor and the salad greens were super fresh which I really appreciated after a few days on the road with no veggies. Tasty crust, just the right thickness.

The new owners have definitely upped the pizzas in this shop. The grandma pizza with pesto is a winner. Taste is great but the bottom crust could be crisper. Can't wait to go back.

Pizza was really really good. Much improved with new ownership. I have to try different things on the menu and report back. My only quibble was i think they should spend a tad more on the crust to have a higher quality crust. I would say it is already second best pizza in town and the big separator was the crust.

Great Pizza and if you like to have choices this pizza place has every type of slice for whatever your looking for. Definitely a must try!

Since the new management took over, this place is incredible. Great pizza and pasta, fair prices, delivery is always on time. Easily the best spot of it's kind in a 5 mile radius.

Always a pleasure eating here. An amazing selection of specialty slices that are one better than the next and the chicken scarp is my fav ! Always a friendly and helpfull staff ! A great place to eat you will be going back for more !

I ordered dinner from here for the first time and was very impressed. The delivery guy was really nice and although it was raining, they seemed to get here pretty quick. The chicken bacon ranch pizza was delicious and perfect for a group of 5 adults and the chicken parm dinner was large enough to split between my two kids. Definitely planning on ordering again!

The rudest man answered the phone. They advertise as being a place that delivers.... I gave him my order. He then abruptly said he couldn't deliver to me right now and hung up the phone. He hung up on me. No explanation. Total psycho. Will never go there again. And certainly won't try to order something to be delivered!

Put on hold for 10 minutes while a guy described his fighting exploits to someone hanging out there. Finally hung up & ordered from Mr. Nick's. Fast & efficient service.
