"A great location in the heart of Frankfurt. Take the lift up to the 53rd floor and bag a table by the window to experience a view you don't often get to enjoy – the panorama over the rooftops of "Mainhatten" is downright spectacular! The cuisine is equally impressive. A modern set menu comprising five to seven expressive courses is on offer. The clear Asian, mainly Japanese influences can be seen, for example, in "Ikejime Hamachi, Gamba Blanca, Wasabi, 20 year old matured Mirin". First-class product quality. The experience was worth it's price: excellent service and the way everything is curated and presented. The only thing that bothered us was that some dishes were too similar tasting and some pretty bland in taste. For michelin and fine cuisine we expected a bit better. But at the end we ordered extra wagyu beef and it compensated all that we tasted before. It was heavenly!

A perfect experience in the Frankfurt sky. The atmosphere is incredibly chic, offering some of the best panoramic views of the city. From the moment we arrived, the service was impeccable; the floor staff operates with total precision, and the timing between courses was flawless. I particularly loved the open-kitchen concept and the fact that the culinary team personally comes to the table to explain the dishes,it adds a wonderful, intimate touch to the evening. The menu is masterfully portioned; every dish is measured so that you leave feeling satisfied but not uncomfortably full. However, the absolute highlight of the night was the Manager-Sommelier. Their knowledge is top-tier, and the wine pairing explanations were both insightful and perfectly executed. This is, without a doubt, the ideal spot for a special occasion. Highly recommended for anyone looking for refined dining and a world-class view.

A refined Michelin-starred experience with an exceptional level of service. The service deserves special mention: impeccable, attentive, perfectly timed and genuinely rare to find even at this level. From start to finish, the staff delivered a flawless and highly professional service. From a culinary perspective, the execution was technically solid throughout, but many of the courses felt quite similar to one another. While the flavors were clean and elegant, there was a lack of contrast and progression, and the menu missed that distinctive “wow effect” one usually expects from a Michelin-starred experience. The dish featuring lardo was, in my opinion, the only course that truly delivered a real wow moment — balanced, expressive and memorable. Additionally, we chose to add an extra Wagyu dish with truffle, which was excellent and very well executed; however, this was an à la carte addition and not part of the standard menu, so it cannot be considered representative of the overall tasting experience. Desserts were very well done, precise and enjoyable. Overall, a very well-executed restaurant with outstanding service and strong technique. That said, aside from the lardo dish, the menu leaned more towards harmony than surprise, with several courses lacking contrast. A very good experience, though with room to push creativity further to fully justify the Michelin “wow factor.”

Maine tower was breathtaking! I went at night to see the scenic city skylights and I was sinply amazed, an incredible city view of Frankfurt in all it's luminous glory. I would highly recommend any visiting the city do this if nothing else

The Main Tower Restaurant offers a fantastic dining experience from start to finish. Every course was exceptional, with meticulously prepared dishes that showcased attention to detail. The service was superb—attentive and professional—and the quiet atmosphere added to the enjoyment.

I found it a bit too pricey and the portions are tiny, even that it is the tasting menu. The food was very good, very artistic and service was very good, not too fancy. However, I would appreciate some local touch and use of more local products instead of constantly mentioning how their tomatoes came from the best Spanish tomatoes (where exactly in Spain lol) or some French vegetables or even more far away places. Wine by glass is too expensive too and wine pairing, consisting of 6 glasses of 100ml glasses is way too big for me, I would not be able to drink a whole bottle of wine alone.

Excellent cuisine with a view. The Main Tower delivers a beautifu viewl of the city and some delicious molecular gastronomy, but lacks in ambience and service. The setting is a bit austere and does not have the opulence of some other fine dining establishments. The service is typical German: to the point. The dishes were explained well, but it was all transactional. If you don't order the wine course - good luck. Cocktails and other drinks were hard to come by - my sole cocktail was never offered for a refill, water refills were also rather slow. The pace of the dinner is very slow, one truly can relax and enjoy the meal over 4+ hours with the nice sunset view of the city. All the courses were expertly crafted and very good to exceptional. Only a few, such as the quail for main course was sub-par. It is a bit pricey and I must admit the experience, while very good, just didn't have the wow factor we were looking for.

The view is breathtaking and takes up most of my grading for this restaurant. I can't help but compare it to Olympic Tower in München, and I have to say by far the food selection at Olympic Tower is waaaaaaaay better than the food you'll eat here. Boyfriend and I went here for his birthday, and although the food was artistically crafted, the taste was mediocre. The only course I really enjoyed was my main, the Rind plate (beef with noodles and greens). They cooked it medium rare and it was juicy and salty, a perfect combination. Otherwise the food is overpriced and even the wine choices are not the best. Nothing really blew us away here, except again the view. We even mentioned it was my boyfriend's birthday, but there wasn't any acknowledgement. You're really just paying for the view and a chance at a good FB/IG picture =]

In the afternoon I called requesting a reservation in the lounge because there was no availability for dinner (wanted to go somewhere romantic for my Fiance's birthday). I notified them that I had a reservation for dinner somewhere else and I was not sure if we would be able to make it to the reservation because it was a bit late (21:00 being the earliest time possible). We finished dinner at the other restaurant around 19:30 and had nothing to do in Frankfurt until the reservation time, plus it was raining like crazy... therefore, we went home. The day after I get a SUPER RUDE CALL WITH ATTITUDE that I did not make it to the reservation. I told her I did not have battery so I could not email on time and apologized. She kept going on about how rude it was from my part even though I apologized. If it was a restaurant reservation I understand, but this is a lounge reservation. She did not have to take time to call me and waste my time with much mistreatment. Don't worry, I will tell my friends about this experience as I used to talk so highly about this location. I am just in shock that a high quality restaurant/ lounge can have the audacity of treating potential customers like such garbage. To the lady that called me: thank you for saving us from visiting.

A nice cosmopolitan " bistronomical " restaurant at the 53rd floor of the high " Main Tower " (not the most original name there - how German lol) in the middle of Frankfurt's business district (if only there was a " non business " district in Frankfurt - Lol2). Nice service and amazing view, which is the only reason you'd go there of course. But it wasn't a rip off. Just a bit expensive for the food we got (quality and quantity combined). Still a nice place for lunch as that view is of course amazing.

Meals here are very formal featuring gourmet modern European dining. The service is excellent. Even when our party repeatedly send orders back for changes or changed drink orders the wait staff remained calm, professional and courteous. The main attraction, however, is the view which is fantastic. The restaurant only faces the Hauptbahnhof (main train station) side of the city, but you have easy access by stairs to the observation deck and it is nice to dine while taking in the view.
