Founded by some french immigrants in 1890 , this plantation now turned into a boutique hotel and restaurant
European sensibilities mixed with local produce , this place deserves a visit if you are in the area
The food, locally sourced , has a french flair , worthy of your hunger
Of course there are caveats , the bathrooms inside the rooms don't have doors , some people hate the fact that you are using the wc in a romantic setting and your partner will have to listen and smell the product of the great food served here
Nitpicking of course , as in Europe this is normal , maybe not here , anyhow , the gardens are amazing , the pool areas outstanding and the atmosphere , calm and quiet
Don't forget your bug repellent tho, as the skeets are hungry and ready to eat you up , we had a cloud of skeetoes following us everywhere , but with repent the problem is solved
