Maison Decoret

Very nice room and nice meal. This is a great experience in Vichy. The restaurant has a great garden view. It located in the city center and the central park. The service is great especially the manager and the sommeliers. There is also a nice salon where you can enjoy tea and coffee there. I strongly recommend the meal and drinks there!

The place to be if you visit Vichy. The house Decoret is very well situated and you will feel as being at home.. Decoret family are the owners of place and their table was perfect. I had the opportunity to taste the dinner menu and breakfast 🫶 Un gracias especial a Augustina por su bienvenida y hacernos sentir como en casa. Volveremos

As passerby we stayed in this nice hotel in Vichy. The welcome was friendly, they tried it in English, that was nice. We had a small room at the first floor at the back of the building. The bed was great en the shower also. Had also dinner in the restaurant. The staff was friendly and the menu exceeded our expectations. There were only menu's available, not "a la carte" but we didn't care, the food was great. We forgot our tablet in the room and Mrs Decoret was so friendly to sent this to our home address, well appreciated ! We can recommend this hotel/restaurant to the future guests.

Beautiful food and presentation. Harmony of tastes of quality ingredients:) perfect staff all the evening and after all this comfort came the skinny waiter who damaged the top level experience at once, changed our table, cleaned up the full bottle of wine and mineral water and act so rude.. very clear go away message!!! We read the some recent reviews and very bad comments on staff were definitely his work, all other people were perfectly professional and nice:) one worm can poison the apple and kindly advice is to change young man’s role.

We stayed 4 nights and it was very difficult to leave. Amazing rooms, incredible dinner. Service was excellent. I’ll give you an example, we were delayed arriving and told the hotel we would be late. At around 9 pm. They called and were worried we hadn’t eaten. They offered to arrange to help us find some food as must restaurants would be closed. The room was spotless. The shower was the kind of shower you wish you had at home!! Just absolutely amazing stay. The dinner service was fine dining at its best and worth every penny!

The restaurant reopened after the holidays with new menus. We were the first in the restaurant that evening and among the last to leave. The food was incredibly good, far more than one star. The Decoret was the best experience on our 3 week gourmet tour of France. But only when it came to individual dishes. The ideas, compositions and sophistication are unparalleled. Unfortunately the service was the exact opposite. We sometimes had to wait a long time for the food and sometimes sat there without cutlery after the course was served. We felt unnecessary and ignored. That was more than annoying for us. The only thing that made us happy was the food. We will still come back, it was just too good.

We arrived in Vichy at 2 PM and the chef and staff were kind enough to remain open to serve us lunch after a long drive. The rooms are well appointed, clean and comfortable. The food is excellent. We would highly recommend this accomodation. I wish I had the opportunity to explore Vichy a bit more but it was raining quite heavily. However, even in the rain our room, which overlooked a beautiful park, was very nice.

Wow! What a delight the restaurant is- the food, presentation, the service is the best I have ever experienced. We had the menu paired with the wines which were all incredible and exciting to experience. I cannot recommend highly enough. This restaurant makes your trip to Vichy worth the time, so amazing. Thank you Maison Decoret for such a wonderful experience.
