Just stumbled upon this gem.
I wanted to try out a new coffee in the neighborhood on Duluth St.
As soon as I walked in with my girlfriend we were greeted in with such frendliness. The place is beautiful, with a calm vibe, just to sit and chill. When I asked about the place I was told it is relatively new.
Then I asked for a Tea. This was like a sommelier type experience, because each tea has a story. If you like to hear what you'll be trying, you will be surprised. I was convinced by the origins and flavours of the Abyssinia tea. You will have some really cool conversations with the staff.
Later we tried some fresh water with lavander. This was so delicious. Like a lemonade but way superior.
But wait! At night this place transforms completely. There is live music, delicious food, and drinks. If you like some strong homemade rum with varied flavours, you are in luck. Plus, they also have a spiked with vodka lavander lemonade. Just thinking of it made me thirsty. I had the rum with cinnamon while I was enjoying some live jazzy music. Some people were dancing, others were singing. The atmosphere here counts so much.
Just to be clear, check their Facebook site since they only sell alcohol on special occasions. Basically when they have events with live music.
These are the type of places that make the Plateau so awesome.
