Osmo x Marusan, a New Japanese Restaurant and Cafe, Open in the Notman House | Eater Montreal

"The Sherbrooke Street startup incubator and heritage building complex that houses Osmo x Marusan (owned by the Osmo Foundation) is linked to a former St. Margaret’s Hospital by a 2014 Sid Lee Architecture connector whose commanding concrete surfaces and dramatic skylights are described as an ode to 1960s brutalism, giving the space an almost Montreal-metro-station feel." - Valerie Silva

This building maybe over 100 years old but it feels so new since all the companies in this building are start ups that bring a great vibe. It's a good place to work at.. the kitchen and the washroom are accecible in every floor. Osmo Café is part of the building as well.

Our collaboration with Notman House for the OutGeekWomen x Montreal event was a success! A massive thank you to the entire team involved.

I am a little mixed on this place. My work has an office there and I love their eco friendly policies, such as pitchers of water rather than bottles, compostable packaging, etc. But the office space is quite bad as there is no sound proofing and other tenants are not respectful that others are also working. There is also no bike bike rack, just signs stating not to lock your bike to the fence, which I thought was quite odd. They do offer some networking activities which is nice and the prices are reasonable even though the space is well dated.

If only we had 6 stars to give :) loved the design, the food/drink, but Holy Molly their sound system!! A bit much for a cafe but perfect for an event, I am not complaining, I loved it!

Great events every Wednesday. A cornerstone of the startup / entrepreneur community.

This organization is great! They host Startup Demo Nights and have Open Houses for local businesses and organizations that startup need. I went to an Open House event last week and the staff was so nice and helpful, guiding me to my law firm appointment, even allowing me to meet someone else in sales that I wasn't even scheduled. Very helpful and nice genuine people! Love this house!

A great space for working and networking - some great spaces for startups. A couple great conference rooms for bigger meetings. Also the cafe is a comfortable spot to hang out and grab some food.
