"Maison Valentine is a French bakery that works for a casual, chill brunch where you won't need a reservation. This place makes more sense if you're in the mood for dessert. They make choux pastries with creative fillings, viennoiserie, and some great baguettes made with imported French wheat. But you don't have to have dessert for breakfast. You can get one of their sandwiches, or just order one of those baguettes with a side of butter and jam. " - ryan pfeffer

"Maison Valentine is a French pâtisserie and boulangerie just around the corner from Lincoln Road perfect for a casual brunch, lunch, or picking out sweets from the display case filled with gorgeous entremets. That's what you should really focus on here: the desserts. This is one of the best French bakeries in Miami, and they make choux pastries with creative fillings and viennoiserie. If you’re looking for something a bit more substantial than a pastry, get one of their sandwiches, including a baguette filled with merguez sausage or a proper croque monsieur. They have a quiet dining room good for a chill solo meal or getting some work done." - Carlos C Olaechea

This place and the entire staff are great. This bakery has a super relaxing atmosphere, it's very clean, everything they serve is fresh and delicious, and the employees are trained to be kind and helpful. Whenever I come to Miami, I always come to enjoy everything this place has to offer.

Google
My favorite neighborhood spot. The staff here are amazing... you know it is a special place when you walk in and they already know your name and order. My favorites are Croque Monsieur but usually go for the Avocado toast with some smoked salmon. Can't go wrong with either one.

Google
We had our gender reveal cake made by them, and they even offered to bake it on the same day. We requested a simple design, but they were capable of creating something more elaborate. The cake was reasonably priced and delicious! We're thrilled with our choice, and it's a boy!

Google
Highly recommend this beautiful place! Service and food are stellar. We ordered almond chocolate croissant, butter croissant, the mixed fruit tart. I've never had a croissant as good as these in my life! And the mixed fruit is the perfect balance of fresh and sweet, not too sweet!

Updated review: Absolutely delighted to provide a 5-year update on our favorite gem in Miami Dade. Maison Valentine continues to be a standout, and we can confidently say it's still the best dessert spot in Miami. The moment you step into the boutique, it's like being welcomed into a warm and inviting family atmosphere. The staff's passion for what they do shines through, making each visit a delight. Their coffee is top-notch, a perfect complement to their delectable offerings. As for the desserts - Phenomenal is an understatement! After traveling all over the world and sampling treats from top-notch patisseries, this place still holds a special place in our hearts. It's a testament to their consistency in delivering heavenly desserts. With our good references from our worldly dessert adventures, we can confidently say this French patisserie in Miami Dade is a must-visit for anyone with a sweet tooth. Here's to many more years of enjoying their divine creations! 🍰☕🇫🇷 (Older review) Amazing French patisserie, very high end quality, all fresh, exact flavors, great variety, loved every bite. If your seeking for real French not Americanized boutique patisserie, this is the right place for you.

Yelp
Maison Valentine quickly became a favorite during my trip. Lunch was incredible--the Croque Monsieur was perfectly crispy and cheesy. I loved it so much that I returned the next morning for breakfast, and their buttery croissants did not disappoint! The staff was friendly, and the atmosphere had a charming Parisian vibe. A must-visit for authentic French flavors in Miami!

Yelp
I love Maison Valentine, A French Café and Pastry Shop in South Beach. The service was great, she was very friendly and kept recommending items that I should try like authentic artisanal French pastries, salad, sandwich baguettes and quiches. They have a cozy, warm, family friendly atmosphere and Parisian vibes as you enjoy your food and drinks with their indoor dining and it also have an outdoor patio if you prefer to dine outdoors. The Crunchy and Temptation are my favorite dessers they are so good and I'm sure most, if not all of their pastries and cakes are worth trying. Highly recommended French pâtisserie and boulangerie in Miami Beach. Check it out!

Yelp
It's hard to find a French pastry shop in many cities so it was a surprise when I found one in Miami, and I had to try anything that looked good. I got the canele to try there, and it's clear that the owner cares about the presentation and quality of both the food and shop. The owner was very nice and took good care of the place, nicely decorated in French flair and a story of their origin. I also got one with coconut, a chocolate gateau, and one with raspberry jelly. They were all delicious, perfectly made, and beautiful. Wish they had one in Austin!

Yelp
The staff was extremely friendly and the it's the cutest little quaint bakery. I don't even remember what the name of the pastry was but it was a party in my mouth. Lightly sweet and a delightful creaminess.

Yelp
We stopped here for an early lunch and were greeted by a lovely employee behind the counter who was so sweet with my toddler. She also kept a pleasant smile on her face throughout a lunch rush that came in while we were eating. Our food was tasty. There were a couple of menu items that weren't available, but good substitutions were offered. The restaurant itself is cute, and looks just as you'd expect of a cafe in France.

Sydney B.

Yelp
Super cute with eat in or to to go options. Did a fruit tarte to to and they put a ribbon on the box for me. Service was slowish. But packed with all ages and male and female. Super cute with Eiffel Tower depicted on wall and Christmas decorations adorning the top of the pastry case.

Kim P.

Yelp
One of the best almond croissants I've had in my life. This is the only bakery I know that sells yummy croissants + macarons. Way better than Atelier. I can't wait to come back :) ladies at the front were nice and welcoming to help me.

Tabitha T.

Yelp
WOW! I do not normally take time to leave reviews, but this was such a stellar experience! We are in Miami from out of town, and my fiancé and I came in around 8:30 for coffee and breakfast- such KIND service and tasty food! We had a scrambled egg, salmon and avocado toast, and an apple turnover. The apple turnover was so good, we had to leave with another! Side note, they have many beautiful pastries and cakes to look at while you're waiting for your food!

Yelp
Another sweet spot on the beach! See what I did there? ::wink wink:: lol, ok enough of the mom jokes. I came here with a group of beautiful women that I just met at a brunch and we were all feeling for something sweet and this establishment was the perfect spot. It was about 10 of us and they allowed us to push tables and showed us great hospitality. You don't need reservations but it is first come first serve. Now to the sweets, I ordered the rose lady and an espresso for myself and it was sooo good!!! It is a dark chocolate mousse with a raspberry and vanilla cream filling (separate) on top of a thin layer of chocolate cake. I'm drooling thinking about it sooo I suggest you indulge and get it. They brought an extra serving of a pastry that someone else ordered and it had a vanilla cream center and that was delish too but I don't know the name. I def have to come back and try some other goodies because I loved this place.

Deby V.

Yelp
Best French bakery in all of miami/miami beach! Their pastries/desserts are unlike any other. I actually learned about this place because I went to a restaurant and their desserts were from here! The tarts are my absolute favorite! Also their breakfast is delicious. Fresh baguette, perfectly cooked scrambled eggs and a fresh chocolate crepe. I think everyone that works here is French so it's super authentic, and they even have a little French market for any French cravings you may have!

Sanna I.

Yelp
Absolutely wonderful! So thankful for the delicious authentic French pastries Feeling spoiled!

Yelp
C'est bon! This darling bakery near Miami Beach serves a delicious slice of Paris. Themed in pink, the decor throws me back to my visit to France: on one wall there is a blow-up poster of backdrop of the city of Paris, and in one corner there are assorted French cookies and snacks. The menu boasts a selection of coffee, crepes, sandwiches, quiches, and other baked goods on display. We ordered three dishes for two people to share because all the options simply looked THAT good. The spinach quiche is delightfully fluffy and huge! The salmon crepe is served with cream cheese topped with chives and was very tasty as well. We also ordered a pâté sandwich, which was fairly standard but delicious nonetheless. Our servers are wonderful and attentive. There was plentiful seating for intimate dates, medium-sized groups, and for studying or working. I am definitely eager to return next time I am in the area to try the different kinds of crepes. Overall, I highly recommend this spot to satisfy your craving for Parisian pastries, sandwiches, crepes, and more!

Yelp
Maison Valentine is my favorite French bakery in the area. Tucked away near Lincoln Road Mall is an authentic French bakery. I have been here countless times and have tried almost all of their little creations. The pastries / desserts / savory goods are so delicious. My favorite thing I have tried here recently was a delectable birthday cake I ordered for my beautiful girlfriend. I ordered the Millefeuille which is essentially a crispy and airy puff pastry cake avec vanilla cream. I highly recommend Maison Valentine! If you read this review don't think twice but come here for the goodies and friendly vibes :)

Ali G.

Yelp
I been seeing this place in instagram and I was in the area so I did a quick stop by to take some goodies home and is All TRUE. This place is so cute and feels like a small piece of Paris. Authentic French girls serve you in the most helpful and efficient way plus a nice smile. Also at this bakery they have lots of different French goodies like candies (bought the kids super cool sphere chocolates and they absolutely loved them.

Ed R.

Yelp
Miami has terrible restaurants so this place was very unexpected. They have a great selection of creative French desserts, plus crepes and other things. I got the passionata and a salami baguette sandwich. The baguette was just OK but much worse than baguettes I've had elsewhere from proper bakeries, but it was good enough for sandwich purposes. The sandwich's salami and butter were both excellent. Indoor seating was comfortable and clean. Parking was surprisingly not hard on a Sunday, one of the worst days for parking. The next time I'm in Miami, I'd definitely stop here again.

Bekim V.

Yelp
Ordered food to go via Uber eats. Sandwich was served on 1/2 baguette that had been cut the prior day. The end of the bread was rock hard and inedible. The desserts were underwhelming, although this may be a result of my disappointment with the sandwich.

Nancy A.

Yelp
If you don't mind spending a pretty penny, you will love this spot. I walked into a view of very Parisian fancy desserts in the glass display. Ended up ordering a cappuccino, a croissant, and a baguette. I spent over $10 for two pieces of bread and the smallest coffee (that while good, was gone two sips later). What really bothered me was that I asked for butter and they wanted to charge me for it. Really? the little butter that every other restaurant puts out with their free bread? The parking situation is complicated, they do have some street parking upfront but don't forget to pay for it and beware of the residential spots.

Cris M.

Yelp
Everything is simply well made and I will always come back Parking is the only issue here. Theres 3 parking in the street and the back is no parking allowed. Either you have someone drop you off while they drive for a few to come back and you are in and out or you pay around for parking.

Mayuran R.

Yelp
Amazing ambiance, very creatively French and clean establishment. Loved the friendly workers who put a smile on our faces. Finally, the food was delicious-- made with high quality French bread. Definitely a must try!

Adam B.

Yelp
Looks like a typical coffee shop until you see the pastry counter. It's like a high end French pâtisserie in here; could easily compete with the likes of Chez Bon Bon at the Fontainebleau. It's always a good idea to start your day with some cake. Rose Lady: Almost looks too good to eat! However, you should definitely eat this. It's like a rose-shaped chocolate mousse with a delicious layer of raspberry running through near the bottom. Summer Vibes: A fruit lover's dream! So many thin colorful layers of alternating cake, jiggly gelatin-like layers and fruit paste. Very vibrant tasting.

Tiffany W.

Yelp
French girl here! I highly recommend this place. All their pastries are a delicious and taste like home. I got my birthday cakes from there and it was incredible.

Lucia P.

Yelp
Just went by to Maison Valentine. I haven't been here in a few weeks and my favorite thing on the menu is gone. The choux. They had them in so many different flavors. My favorites were citron, passion fruit, and hazelnut. I asked why they no longer and they said "the chef doesn't want to make them anymore". The area that was for choux is now filled with macarons. There are several places to get macarons in Miami Beach, but not choux. Very disappointing. It was the main reason I visited Maison. Their croissants are also very good. I'm a fan of their almond chocolate croissant, plain croissant, and pain au chocolat. For some reason the last two visits, the croissant has had a hint of soap in their flavor. So it was a bit off in flavor. This visit I asked for a almond chocolate croissant and when I got home I checked and they instead gave me an incorrect croissant- the pain au chocolat. Their "fancier" desserts are also aesthetically pleasing and quite tasty. Still worth the visit to the shop, but the star pastry of Maison is no longer made. Prices have increased as all of Miami has unfortunately. Staff is always very kind and helpful. Which is always a plus to get great customer service

Lynette B.

Yelp
Needed to scoop up some sweet treats for a dinner and found this place through Yelp of course. So many goodies here but opted for an apple and a pear almond tart. They were very tasty and hit the sweet spot. Will definitely return to try la choice as well as all the other delicious desserts they make daily. Parking is a bit of a mission but the service is delightful and the quality more than makes up for it.

Judy S.

Yelp
Excellent baked goods and staff. Pricey; it's a sweet indulgence. Some outside seating, very comfortable to be there

Marian D.

Yelp
I recently discovered this little French pastry shop, they also have breakfast and lunch, the place is really lovely, out of the beaten path of tourists so perfect for the locals, I have been there twice now and I really like the pastries, I will have to try the food next time. You should try it, it is really a lovely place

Jon D.

Yelp
Truly amazing! Words cannot describe how delicious their desserts are. The good: not only is the taste out of this world but they are masters of presentation. They pay attention to every little detail in every single dessert, you can tell these guys are passionate and love what they do because everything over tried had been a masterpiece perfectly crafted from the way they present it to the way it taste. I don't think I've ever said that an establishment of any kind was perfect in regards to taste and presentation but after ordering from here a few times I can say without a doubt that whatever you order will be perfect. The bad: nothing at all. Bottom line: order a few things you won't regret it! Even if you're not a fan of sweets this place will change you!

Máté V.

Yelp
I visited the place multiple times already and always had a great time. Definitely an authentic French place with big traditional and unique selection. Even if it is just a quick bite or a full breakfast, you are not going to be disappointed. The staff is really kind especially Ines. A nice pleasant experience to be there and sipping a cup of cappuccino or latte with some sweets on the side. With the well designed decorations you are going to feel like in Paris.

Yulia K.

Yelp
I went the first time to this place about a month ago. I was doing a blog post on French places in South Beach for my blog. I fell in love with it instantly... starting with owners who are French following with decor of the place which makes you feel like you are in Paris and the whole wall of family history. The food is amazing. I got quiche with salmon and I haven't taste quiche as good so far. Since then I've been there several times and there is always something new to taste. I really try to find words to describe and can't find the correct ones. You better go and see and taste for yourself. Make sure you get cappuccino so you can have art on your milk foam and one of the specialties - a shoe, a sweet pastry filled with cream of different flavors. It is not a chain the owner is there most of the time and she will make your experience unforgettable.

Laurent L.

Yelp
La meilleur pâtisserie française de Miami beach Venez et découvrez par vous même les délicieuses patisseries française faite a la main Le petit déjeuner incroyable ainsi que les viennoiseries pure beurre . un endroit incontournable quand ont recherche le très bon . Yelp
Just terrible;( Very bad service.. tons of attitude;( very French shit... Be aware , be careful , I will becher go there again

Casey M.

Yelp
I needed a cake for my husband's surprise birthday party at a restaurant I'm Miami Beach. Not being a full time resident, I wasn't familiar with a great bakery -so I looked on line and Madison Valentine had offerings that looked appealing Long and Short I was able to easily order a cake for 20 online. Called to make sure they received the order, and picked it up on the appointed day The cake was extremely beautiful and most importantly EVERY SINGLE GUEST remarked how delicious it was. Personally it was one of the best I've ever had The shop is lovely, the staff pleasant and the prices very fair Highly highly recommended

Mark K.

Yelp
Had the visual pleasure of ordering a tart on line but that was enhanced by the pickup to see the individual cakes, tarts and viennoiseries in person! The packaging was artful without frills (no ribbon!). What is more important as one eats first with the eyes and then the mouth....the fraisier (strawberry tart) with its perfect crust, creme patissiere and luscious, ripened, beautifully arranged berries was outstanding. Impossible not to resist were the pain au chocolat and pain aux raisins which were just as impressive even the next day with a little warning up. Brigitte, you are a godess in the world of French pastries and your beautiful shop Is a welcome addition to the South Beach landscape! Merci du fond de mon coeur!

Katherine Z.

Yelp
Absolutely delicious desserts. The Rosher is like having a large freshly made Ferrero Rosher chocolate and then there's Love. We loved the Love dessert so much we went back to buy more to take back to our hotel. Once you take a bite you get a milk chocolate mousse with a hazelnut cremeux and crunchy hazelnut praline. They're super cute to look at but also super delicious. I will definitely come back next time I'm in Miami.

Jenny D.

Yelp
Best Catering in Miami! Maison Valentine saved the bridal shower day! We only had only two weeks to plan; they made it simplistic! They prepared us assorted croissants; the almond croissant is yum and vegan chocolate muffins are yum yum. They made us our own quiches; all vegetarian. Spinach, Goat Cheese & Mushrooms, and Brie & Mushrooms. Yum, Yum, Yum!!! Then we had one last special request: To put a shot glass in the passion fruit cake and write on the cake... One last shot before the knot. Maison Valentine knocked it out of the park! Home Run ~ Best Bakery in Miami. The passion fruit cake was the perfect serving after a hot bridal shower day. BRAV-O!!!

Tania S.

Yelp
Beautiful place, the coffee soft but smooth. They have French products in the corner.

Nasha P.

Yelp
I've been to this place at least 3 times and all I can say is WOW. It is THE best pastry shop in Miami. There I said it, sorry to all other businesses lol. I love you, but you ain't it. This is the real deal. Go to this shop, get a treat and you won't regret it. At allllll!!! Your welcome.

Victoria P.

Yelp
The best croissants on the beach - hands down! Amazing pastries and great breakfast, sandwiches and a variety of French delicassies for sale. Would definitely recommend!

Victoria W.

Yelp
Very bad bakery . Croissants dry . Pastries awful. Customer service zero rude people . Price expensive .

Grace C.

Yelp
This is one of my favorite places in Miami. The croissants are like being in France. The owner is lovely as well as all the staff.

Everett T.

Yelp
The best customer service in Miami is at a French place. True story. Even though we stumbled in 30 minutes before they closed, Brigitte and company were incredibly welcoming. They had a tremendous amount of patience with the very stoned couple that was in front of us, Unfortunately we didn't try their specialty cream filled pastries. I don't remember if they were already sold out, or if we just skipped over them somehow. Instead we had a hazelnut biscuit/praline and an apple tart. It was late, we were very full, and the staff was still incredibly patient as we took 15 minutes deciding on just two items. Maison Valentine was a lovely way to end our Miami eating spree!

Omar V.

Yelp
Love this bakery !" If you are in the area this is best French bakery in South Beach!

S B.

Yelp
I've eaten here over 100 times for years, since they opened. Superior service these days, and the food is authentic as you're going to get in the U.S., at superior prices and just an amazing experience. They have amazing breakfast formulas. The chocolate croissants are second to NONE. The bread is baked fresh, daily. And of course the savories are devine. My favorite!

Sebastien F.

Yelp
Amazing bakery . Really good pastry ! Owner and the chef are super nice . Best place for nice breakfast !

Tim S.

Yelp
Wherever you choose to have dinner in Miami Beach, skip dessert at THAT restaurant and make the worthwhile trip to Maison Valentine! As we walked in, French music set the mood to gawk through the impressive display case. The staff and owner Brigitte warmly greet everyone who walks in. There is ample inside and outdoor seating, a casual couch and brisk takeout traffic. Delicious, fresh, very French. Go, you'll love the desserts, coffees and the vibe.

Life Miami Beach I.

Yelp
I love this French bakery! It is a such a lovely place. My team with @LifeMiamiBeach came here some time ago to celebrate a milestone, and we got the nicest cake! We love this bakery, and we recommend it to anyone living in Miami Beach, and we recommend this bakery to anyone visiting Miami Beach. The serve sandwiches, croissants, and all types of foods! They are a family owned small business, and we at LMB support family owned small businesses 100%!! Best wishes, @LifeMiamiBeach

Megan S.

Yelp
Just the very best experience I have had with food delivery. Unreal. So good. Even the packaging was perfection.

Nounoucha M.

Yelp
Ordered all their desserts menu on New Year' eve and loved every piece!!! Good job French bakery quality and presentation!
